Absolutely horrible, the bus operaters a extremely rude to customers, lazy, and incompetent. I was sorry that I even asked a question. And, customer service isn't any better because they never handle the problem accordingly.
I reather Uber, the give one cent this unorganized and heinous establishment.

The 57 always late. Like ALWAYS! And not 10 minutes late. No. A whole hour late. Mind you the 57 only runs once an hour.

I am so impressed by the free rides lately and the new routes especially 54 going to the airport. It s a great innovation. It s an awesome way to manage change

They absolutely suck. Who keeps putting their buses "out of service" one after another way earlier than closing time. I've been stranded one too many times thanks to them!!!!

In general, the service is good. The drivers are friendly and helpful. The buses are usually on time. Posted departure times at each hub would be helpful. Route 70 to Southern University be more convenient if it went into the campus. Few people want to get-off at the Mini-dome.

I have literally tried to ride this thing on 6 different occasions. The first time the bus flew by me like I was invisible. The other 5 times a bus never even came within sight. One time I literally sat there for 3 hours. Only because I had nothing else to do and I wanted to see does it even really come here. The one outside where I live I ve asked and they said you just gotta hope and pray that it will come and stop. I m never gonna figure this thing out.

Never depend on this option of transportation to get to work. You'll never make it on time even if you catch the bus an hour early. I thank the heavens for giving me a new car. I don't see this company lasting long at all.

The positive reviews must be from the drivers relatives!!! I wouldn't even give this a one star. PERIODT!! They are terrible. They're never on time at all, and have no sympathy for the riders who are late to class or work. This matter is bigger than they take it. It's clear they don't care about us being late because they're already at work.

I have ridden on bus systems in third world countries that were more reliable than CATS

Waiting on the bus that goes to Women's only to have it pull up and off! Ask the lady in the cats van why she had a nasty attitude! Also ask when would the next bus cum. She. Couldn't give me an answer!! They need another bus service!

Poor tracking app. Poor phone support. Routinely late arrivals. Bad attitude drivers most of the time. Very unreliable on weekends.

That was the worst ride ever on bus 194 at 906 a.m. Bus driver was rule is .HELL I thought I die in Whent to hello but she's new. If the new changes going to have the bus driver acting like that please put them back . 8 years of ride ing in never felt like this.

Horrible they need something better than this almost lost my job on these late ass buses been waiting outside for two hours over a bs bus and ignorant customer service representative they need to do better no one should have to complain this much for a bus or help get it together hate I had to give one star for this poo ass service smfh

A weekend pass is cheaper than coffee at Starbucks. So honestly I'm cool with it . Bang for your buck = mucho bueno . Probably a little late more often than not, but I just use them when I don't need to be super on time,,

The 54 bus supposed to come from Southern University at 5:50 am. It never shows up. Im will be fired if I'm always late for work. Ever since the schedule changed... I've been 30 minutes to on hour late for work constantly. CATS SUCKS!

Unreliable transportation. Busses are usually late making you miss connecting busses and wasting hours of precious time each and every day. Customer service is a joke. The company is full of employees that couldn't care less about their job.
Would recommend riding a bicycle simply because it is a far more reliable motive of transportation.

Most drivers are friendly. Buses are usually on time. There were several occasions where bus was cancelled(even twice in a row) and I was driven pass while standing on the bus stop. Customer service is often terrible. They've no clue as to when buses are due to come. One time the rep told me the bus was cancelled. As I walked back down my street, the bus passed. -_-' So yeah... Good and bad times...

The buses are extremely dirty. It s as if they don t clean the buses. They allow anyone on the buses that you can smell from a mile away, and most people take the bus to work and have to sit through all that.
Clean the buses!!!! They stinks!!

Baton Rouge CATS is by far the worst transit system that I've rode on. I don't want to throw so much dirt since I've had to rely on it lately, but the transit system can do so much better. Lately I've been going over and over in my head about how I have to take an hour or two just to get to one place. I can get there in a fraction of time with my own transportation; that's how much important time is. There has been times where a route hasn't showed up for an hour. If I didn't have sense to walk fast to a connecting stop, I would've waited up other two hours just to get somewhere that's fifteen minutes away. They don't mind you being late, just not on time. If it's not gameday or some event that results in bus re-routes, then it's lousy timing and employees. There are some good employees who have good relationships with the passengers. However, there are some that have a nasty attitude and are there for a job. The better transit systems that I rode are Houston, New Orleans, and Atlanta. And I know somebody will say that they're bigger cities, but the bottom line is quality. People have to rely on a transit system for work, school, medical appointments, and other errands. So it goes a long way when a bus system has quality. I don't care if Baton Rouge leans towards a small town, CATS need to step their standards.

Wednesday, December 13th. LSU Bus 18 passed by College Dr Walmart on the side in front of panda express going towards Cortana. Between 7:30pm and 8:30pm. The operator of the bus saw two men, one including myself standing waiting on the bus and he completely passed us up like we didn't exist. Thats unacceptable service he should be fired! Im getting off work and its cold and dark and the other guy needed to get to work but because of the bus he will be late. When I made the phone call I spoke to a lady who told me he said he "slowed down" which he completely lied. He actually kept driving like we didn't even exist! The lady was nice but she told me we could only go by what he said if the cameras work on that bus please roll them back! You can obviously see us standing and him passing us up like we aren't customers waiting to catch the bus right in front of a bus stop.

Completely unreliable. It's bad enough that the bus only runs once an hour, but it frequently doesn't run at all. My husband waited for the 12:04, then the 1:04, then called me to pick him up. I wasn't able to leave work until 2:30, so he waited almost another hour. He went back into his place of work to wait for me, so we don't know whether the 2:04 came. The 3:04 was leaving as I arrived. He did see buses going in the other direction, so who knows?

I bought a $56 monthly pass turned out to be a bad pass that would not scan. They didn't give me another one at all. They decided to write on it which leads the bus drivers to think I am defrauding them. They could have given me another pass for that price that's what any business would do.

Every day something wrong first night got into a crash broke down twice been left at stop i must say having to ride this system leaves alot to be desired and customer service don't ask

Not only are the buses unreliable (do not come at the times given), and the fact that I had to jump two bus routes to go to LSU from Siegen Lane (which took me over 2 hours one-way), I found out that LSU students ride for free right after I bought a month's worth of tickets ($61). I had the receipt for the tickets, the unopened letter that the tickets were mailed in, ID, etc, to refund the tickets, and they told me they don't do refunds. Which is a d*** shame, since $60+ is a lot for a college student. I am not happy with this program and I can see why others are too.

I ve waited 1.5 hours plus for a busses that are supposed to run every 30 minutes. Nothing is one time and the bus drivers don t care.

Customer Service is not well learned on the routes or even the streets. They're also very rude very seldom do you find a person that will even allow you to speak. They talk all over you. Bus drivers are getting better though. More patient and understanding but the people who have been driving for years and years are bitter. Extremely bitter and argumentative but because the people who need the bus don't have a lot of money we have very little say in these things. The CATS System needs a facelift from the foundation to the actual transportation. People have lost jobs, missed important appointments, lost their homes simply because they had to ride the bus that day.

It's a disgrace how bus line 70 is being managed. Wouldn't allow LSU riders to ride run down, flooded buses, why should passengers who ride bus line 70 (Scottlandvillie)?Wouldn't allowed LSU riders to wait an hour for the bus, why should bus line 70? Why you have to wait an hour for the bus? Baton Rouge is a major city.

This is the worst route ever. The bus is supposed to pass through LSU at the 30 minute mark and it skipped the route twice! I was waiting for the bus from 5:15-6:45 when I finally called the station just to be told that the bus already passed my area. When I told them the bus never passed, I was asked "Are you sure?" Please tell me how I could have missed the passing of a bus TWICE?! They need to make sure that their drivers follow the complete route. It's ridiculous.

They service sucks always late I been waiting on the bus since 3pm called to find out why it's 4:13pm and still no bus first off they answer then hang up in your face than have a very nasty attitude and tell me they bus not coming until 5 and can't give a answer to why it's late then hang up in your face again this is the worst transit system ever!!!!! I wouldnt even give them a half of star very very very poor service.. if you from out of town you will do better with a cab,Uber,or lyft the bus system will have u late or not showing up at all

I've only been on the bus line for a few months. And i didnt except ot to be A-1 sevices but nothing perpared me for today. I got off @2:30pm and walk to Perkins. And thou I miss the 2:48 bus another was suppose to been coming thru at 3:15 so it was okay. Until 3:15 turn into 3:40 and I phone the office and the lady who answered the phone was so rude and after i explain how long I've been waiting on a bus. She gonna say," oh well the next bus aint coming until 4:02 and I'm hanging up. As soon as she hung up. One of the elderly men that was waiting also. Pass out face first,my co-worker ran into Taco Bell amd got the man some water but he didn't want us to call no one or 911 but it made me mad and my co-worker called back. And then this lady said,4:20 and it was 4:10 and she told me 4:02. So my co-worker called bulls**t and the lady final admitted the bus had broke down and another one was coming. They truly need to work on they're Customer Service skills

These people are horrible. I paid for 2 all day passes and when I went to transfer I was told one of them was a 25 cent change card. So I called CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH COULD NOT HELP ME. SO THEY RIPPED ME OFF AND DIDN'T CARE. I will never ride with these unprofessional people.

U literally have 2 leave ur house 2hrs r so early so u can catch the bus.& don't miss a bus cuz it's will take 45mins to an hr before the nxt 1 comes. Major streets like Florida,etc nva have enough buses & they have a Florida Limited bus that u will c that won't pick u up cuz it's limited & u still have 2 wait a gd 30mins r so before an actual Florida bus comes.
It's actually cheaper to ride the bus on the weekend cuz it's $2 for a day/weekend pass. Where as during the week,u have to pay $4( thats for a pass. Regular price is $1.75)And if u want 2 pay a student fair for your child,make sure u ride the bus Mon thru Fri only between 6am to 5pm..Otherwise u have to pay full price for them. But a college student can ride for .35 everyday with an ID.But high school kids have ID's as well,but don't have that same right. Things definitely need to change with CATS cuz sum lines shut down to early,not enough buses on routes,& sum streets that need a bus,don't have 1. Bus fair is to high to get so little back!!

Where shall i start? Well first if you have enough money for uber or lyft go with option first. These bus drivers are always late, their own website doesnt even work half the time. I called a rep. She told me that the gps's on the bus dont even work on some of them. Really? Not reliable and you'll probably lose your job, miss the birth of your child, and get divorced trying to use cats. Simply terrible.

If you wanna keep your job. Dont depend on BR CATS its always something going on and they move on their own time

The buses are usually empty, nobody with a job rides the buses, does anybody actually think that a actual rider would give a five star rating to cats, so obviously they are posting phony reviews.
