Rail city is decent its not the best but I like going there the buffet is decent always have good deserts
Let me just say I come here alot. 1st off the Ale House the lunch needs to come back this opening later is dumb your losing money because of it. While your at it bring back the 7 different fries in the Ale house. Especially the steak fries. Shout out to Steve and Jose best waiters in the Ale House hands down. Now the coffee shop shout out to the overnight waitress Amanda the best one in there hands down. As for the casino overnights your security needs to start cracking down on the tweakers and drug deals going down in there. 1 night I was playing I had a guy ask me straight up if I wanted to buy weed. I just walked away from that fool.
The different locations to eat day and night. Very open and spacious. Elaborate Bathrooms. Everything is very Fancy!
Kind of a dive bar of the off the beaten path casinos in the City of Reno it does the job but I'd recommend anywhere else but there unless you're into that kinda thing...

Figured i would give it another try since last time was so disappointing. Well i should have made the last time my last time. The cafe staff is not friendly at all. Especially the lady who seated me. They all seem like they dont want to be here. The food was so so. Maybe the vibes coming from the staff make the food seem worse i don't know. I tried. Going to go back the other place that i frequent 4 or 5 times a week down the road a mile or so. They are very friendly and inviting there. And i win quite regularly there
Rail city is a fairly busy little machines do pay, but resteraunts are weak
I did not have a good experience at the rail city cafe I was very disappointed with the menu, service was ok at the best i don't know if there has been a management or ownership change but I don't think we will be going back any time soon!
It was the worst place I ever been to eat the food was really nasty
It sucked lost 500 and didnt even get sa damn drink ladys kept blowing right by.
They put new carpet, new remodeling thru out the build. But loss all the Local friend and staff. Buffet $7.77, but you have to have a 2nd rate player club to get this price. To bad for the visitors.
The way they are doing new paint outside is wonderful. Everytime i Gamble with a twenty it seems I'm walking out with a hundred in my pocket. Can't go wrong there as far as I'm concerned!!! When i can afford to spend a $100 I'm going to see if I can walk out with $500. Wish me luck!!!

The parking lot was not lighted in some areas where it needs to be & the outside looks nothing like the photo used on Google, the paint's fading & the neon sign light on 21st street only says "City" as the "Rail" is also unlit; I walked in & walked out as there were slots machines greeting me. Time to change things around "Rail City."
I've never gambled before this was my first but it's great! We had lunch and played some machines. It was quite fun. The service was good, food was delicious. And all the staff were so kind! Would visit again! Only down side is the cigarette smell but it's a casino lol

Fought off the penny slots with 40$ for about an hour. Waitress promptly took my drink order and delivered. Better service than "High End" casinos.

I have to drop the star level I awarded this place due to their new policy of no backpacks. Being without a car necessitates a backpack and to have to be denied admission on a hot day. Well isn't a good thing. It's actually very unfair since women are allowed to bring in their purses but men can't bring in their backpacks. I would strongly suggest that they change their policy to allowing NO bags should they want to keep people happy.

Great casino loose slots and a wide variety to choose from. We ate in the cafe it was good food at a cheap price for the buffet. Staff was very friendly and willing to help .will definitely recommend stopping in.

This casino only allows players that spent oodles of money to win any of their drawings. Every week the same handful of players win. They expect their name to automatically be drawn. I have heard them say if they don't win they'll throw a fit. So I've decided thatvthe casino rigs their drawing so only the privileged few will win. The company must be run by a trump supporter. Because they're not concerned about the people only the $.
Food not so good. They don't take care of there loyal guests anymore an sorry to say but they cater to illegals and Transit customer s instead of the people who keep coming in hoping it will change back where it was actually a fun place to gamble. There change crew are awesome thank good ness they are still there.
The very limited menu at the Sale House was disappointing. The service from Jose was GREAT, but I had to send back my steak three times to get it a medium level. First time it was overdone, then raw. Third time I was so hungry I just ate it. When we used to go there, the meat was a better quality. I don't know what happened, but that wasn't the best cut at all. Way too much fat versus meat. And they announced when we were seated that they ran out of baked potatoes. It was only 7pm! Really?? Not the best planning. I miss the old Ale House quality and variety. That made it one of my favorite places. Now it's not worth the trip.
A smaller local casino with a diverse selection of slots and video poker. It also has a restaurant / buffet for those looking for an inexpensive meal. If you aren't into the larger casinos then Rail City should meet your needs.
Had buffet, good but there's something wrong with their pumpkin pie. 2nd time I've had it. Doesn't taste right. Taste like it was frozen at one time. No discount for primary club card holder.
