Impeccable service and tranquil environment. Will be back again.
Went there for a wedding dinner. It was amazing. Chinese dinner but they plate the food for you. Wine was good too! I feel the staff for the night was well trained in their service and polite.
Great service, comfortable room, prime location at Sentosa with shuttle service to shopping mall at designated timing.
Good Sunday brunch. Probably better for residents than visitors though
Gorgeous resort. Multiple restaurants across the property.
beautiful room and enthusiastic service, make you feel you are special, the best hotel have been .
Everything you expect from a world-class resort! Attentive, friendly staff, gorgeous landscaping, and luxurious accommodations.
A great urban resort, not to mention that it is quite like the island of Bali.
This place is absolutely gorgeous, albeit very expensive. What pleases me the most however is (to my surprise) neither the marvelous facilities, nor the splendid environment but rather, the people. All the staff I have come across during my short stay, ranging from the front office executives to the electrician who fixed my coffee machine, are simply exceptional.
The service was really slow, the cart that was suppose the chauffeur us took very long. Even though the villa was close by, they did not even suggest the alternative of walking.
Went there for a wedding dinner. The foods was really nice. And the staffs are really friendly & nice. But the staff that serve our table, is not really friendly. She didn't smile at all.
Food for the price are not justified. Service is pretty decent though
The environment is very comforting and clean. The facilities made you feel at-home.
I always wanted to try somewhere that has sea view and I found Capella. Booked through concierge at the best available rate. The overall experience is great.
From the (mostly) speedy email replies, pre-arrival call (not just email), check in with introduction to the hotel and history, in room dining, check out, until the transfer to another hotel - I felt appreciated as a customer. Service is much better than the next hotel that I went after Capella. Should have switched around if I've known that earlier
Definitely recommend for a stay especially if you are looking for a peaceful getaway from the city. Hopefully I can come back to stay again.
Great hotel, great amenities. Events held at this location is top notch
Excellent surroundings and service! Staff were very accommodating and helpful all while keeping us COVID-19 safe. Best staycation ever!
library change location. called room service twice but no answer.
Elegant hotel situated on a historical property with very rich history of colonialism in Singapore
Had breakfast buffet there. Fantastic service, great coffee, decent buffet spread. Will come back again!
Beautiful view from the swimming pool. Top notch hospitality.
Came here for a wedding show. You can either drive, cab or take a shuttle bus in from vivo city. The pool area is very nice with lounge chairs to enjoy the view. The ballrooms were great.
Disappointing to make online booking at Bob's Bar and then arrive to find out a special.event is on, which means the Bar is closed. $20 return fare for nothing.
Service is good. Service staffs are really helpful too.
Lovely rooms, very clean and spacious and great sound system.
It is the place where historic North American summit was held. I went on the same day, but I have been barricaded in front of 500 meters and have been stretching with reporters around the world.
I have a great experience in here. Friendly people. I will come back again and introduce for my friend
One of the best destination for honeymoon
Things I like:
Calm, relaxing with good views and beautiful rooms.
Things I don't like:
-No halal food
-Facials tissue in the room is cheap type
-Slow room dinning it take 45 min for any order you get.
-Small lobby
Attended wedding reception at sentosa ballroom, interior decor was elaborate and neat, but service staff were clumsy and inexperienced.
One of the best hotels I've ever been! Staffs are friendly and responsive.
Best staycation experience is this amazing hotel. Great service and excellent spa. Hope I get come back in Capella Singapore soon.
A staycay at Capella was something that I hadn't planned for, I had booked it and weeks leading up to it I was just swamped with work and was too busy to think about how to make the best of it, but that all worked out in the end because we had such excellent service and the facilities were top notched.
The room is huge! We didn't get a villa, but the regular sized rooms was plenty for 2 people. It was nice and quiet, and you hardly see other guests around, except during breakfast and occasionally by the pool - so it really felt like you weren't in Singapore and was a good getaway.
The service staff was what made the difference. It was obvious that they enjoyed their jobs and the interaction with the guests. PLUS, we left a bag behind, and they tracked it down to me, called me and assured me that my bag was safe with security till I picked it up. When I finally did go back to Capella to pick it up, they recognised my partner straightaway and got our bag safely back to us. We can't thank the staff there more!
Great Cantonese fine cuisine with impeccable service.
Maybe that was me only...
1. Check in need one hour+
2. Water leakage in the toilet
3. Water pressure and temperature for shower is not consistent
And there is definitely room for improvement for breakfast.
Serene, quiet. Service is good. Food at the outlets are good.
We are staying in the villa, the staff are friendly and well communicated in English and the spa, bar and room service are great. You can also meet animal friends like peacocks and squirrels: D
We were there for a wedding. Location is a bit out of the way since it is in Sentosa and it would be more convenient to drive to the venue though parking was limited. Hotel is very nicely decorated and surrounded by lush greenery. The grand ballroom was spacious and open. No blocked views of the stage. Food served was not bad but service was a bit slow.
Nice hotel
Quiet and relaxing, delicious food and sake Immediately going to Palawan Beach ~
Staff was great and welcoming. Modern and clean design. A little out of the way if you wanna walk to USS or anywhere, so you gotta wait for the shuttle
We made a reservation for a wedding reception and found out that our unit is on the basement. We have an elderly who is not very mobile and the management have kindly change out our room with no extra charges
Inside Capella it really felt like an island within an island. There's some amazing tranquility living among the majestic greens and seaview that Capella offer. Just glancing around in Capella you get that the people here respect heritage and nature. But i cant just praise enough how Capella combines Nature and Colonial Styles with very modern elements as if its meant to be. The rooms are so much more than one would expect, i think the designers didn't aimed to make it feel like home, but rather, much much better than home. Its also fascinating to realise that the place is so well designed that almost any spot, indoors or outdoors, would look good enough to net you a perfect photo even for wedding portraitures. At the compound you will always be greeted with smiles. On my wife's birthday we were given multiple birthday cake surprises from the Team! Joyful and intimate hospitality.
I have crammed more than people would read but as a summary, I would give Capella Hotels a more-than-perfect 10 stars out of 5! More than even a six-star resort, I am truely pleased with this place much more than possibly anywhere else in this region! Thank you Capella Hotels and Team!
Lived here for 2 1/2 months . The apartment was really nice , and big , looked really modern . The service from Cappella, is really good, excellent staff, always polite , and helpful.
If roaming around in Santosa , this was a good good and relaxing place to fall back too. Woke up in the morning and a peacock and the chick was resting on the porch. Really nice environment for the Cappella area.
Using the old colonial building as the main hotel building, it is quiet place to relax. Apart from standard rooms, they also have villas and apartments for bigger families and groups.
nice environment. The child is happy, the wife is satisfied, the room attendant is very good, I feel very kind, like going back home.
The place is located on Sentosa Island and is the best place for sightseeing. We also carefully select top-quality ingredients for cooking. Occasionally, some parts lack cleanliness, so we set it to 4.
Beautiful Historical Hotel, an experience in exclusivity
Wonderful location with a great view of the city from a distance. Staff are friendly and place is clean.
An unforgettable experience I must say! Room was in prestige condition, customer service was bespoke and top notch!
Thankfully, they accepted small dog hence I have decided to have a go with my fiancee. Hope to come back some day!
Super and the service was more than the expectations. This place is a must to try in Singapore
The architectural style of the Singapore colony, the white building, is very beautiful, and of course the price of one night stay is amazing.
Peaceful surrounding, great for starvation away from city hustle.
Very nice booked it after my birthday and a staycation with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wish we can come again. Lovely hotel fantastic view from our window. Very quiet and serene. Excellent place to be away from the city.
the best hotel in Singapore. Good breakfast but quite expensive 60 sgd for breakfast.
Set in 30 acres of tranquil and luscious landscaped grounds, each thoughtfully and elegantly designed Room, Suite, Villa and Manor combines bespoke contemporary comforts with natural materials and touches of Asian tradition. Anchored by historical architecture, Sentosa Island accommodation interweaves the beauty of nature with the resort s unique contrasts between past and present.
Simply fantastic hotel - world class service and staff. World class experience. Tucked away privately on Sentosa it's well worth it for whatever you're going for. Lunch at the Knolls was delicious although I prefer the laidback bar atmosphere on the patio above. Auriga Spa is second to none. Check it out, book in, and enjoy the most lavish experience you've ever had.
Only visited to attend a formal dinner. For the pre-dinner cocktails the staff was very attentive and the hors d'oevre conveniently served on spoons. The fish and chicken (Western style) served at the dinner was good as was the appetisers and desserts. Food was served with wine. The staff were well trained. The toilets were clean and well supplied with excellent quality napkins to wipe hands after washing. Overall, a very good experience.
Due to the pandemic, wasn't able to travel so we decided to do a staycation at one of the best hotels in Singapore. We stayed in a Garden Villa.
This was the place where Donald Trump met Kim Jong Un for their summit and I can understand why this hotel was chosen.
Everything here is top notch and very luxurious. There is a free high tea at the level above the lobby, at this place called The Living Room.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. One thing I must highlight is the very attentive and friendly service! You only have to look at one of the staff and they would approach you. Best service I've ever experienced in Singapore.
Didn't stay here but I liked the bar + restaurant Cassia
Very poor service generally speaking and housekeeping was appalling! Also, wasn't impressed when the electricity went off in the middle of the night, which meant the emergency lighting came on at 3a.m. Couldn't call the front desk to tell them the fuse needed to be taken care of because phones not working. Also, this is the only luxury hotel I've stayed at where the breakfast wasn't included in the, tremendous, price. Not worth the money. The shining star was the spa. The treatments (thai massage) were out of this world.
Celebrated a birthday with a weekend staycation and we were pleasantly surprised when they delivered a cake and a bottle of wine to our room. Lovely premises, attentive staff and it really does feel like you re way out of the city. Just wonderful. Check out their Chinese restaurant as well - the food was impeccable and I m just surprised I don t hear more about it!
Booked a 2 night stay in the sea view room for a birthday celebration but lacklustre service and unmet promises marred the stay. Not recommending to friends and not paying to stay at the hotel next time.
The good:
1. Views were quite amazing from the sea view room on 3rd floor. Very chill vibes and atmosphere feels like you re on a holiday.
2. Some staff were good in meeting your requests and did them with a smile. Most staff seemed tired and seem to be just doing it as a job. Quite surprising for a 5 star hotel.
The disappointment:
1. Was promised a birthday cake but only received 3 small pcs of chocolate served on a glass tray. Called operator to find out why the difference and was told that they will get back. Never did get back.
2. Called 3 times in advance (2 weeks before stay) to book the hotel activities. First 2 times was told that a culturist will call me back in 24 hours. Never got the call back. Called the 3rd time (1 week before stay) and the lady on the phone wanted to get a culturist to call me back but I said no. Asked the lady on the phone to make the bookings for me and was informed that most activities were fully booked by then. Only got the boba making slot and heritage tour.
3. Afternoon tea at living room could have been a nice experience but staff seem overwhelmed, avoiding eye contact and walking really fast. Simple request for a napkin required multiple reminders.
Maybe my expectations were held too high but I think to be breaking promises is unacceptable to a hotel that prides themselves on their service.
