Saw the car I wanted on the internet and went in and talked with Ronnie. I couldn't get him to give me the car...but he did work with me to get me a good deal and I am very delighted. Cape Honda has a great reputation and has for years. I am never afraid to do business with them! That was 5 months ago, I bought another car from them June 26th. They gave me a good deal, same as the last time. But this time, I bought the Auto Armor protection. When they ran it through it left large black marks in several places on the car and left a giant scratch in the rear air dam. I had to come back the next day and the manager said they would buff out the black marks and replace the air dam. They did get the black marks off but they never touched the air dam. I decided to just live with it and forget it. en, I never got the title until July 30th. They told me they would pay the late title fee to the state. I went by picked up the title (finally), went and got the transfer and paid the late fee out of my back account. Imagine my surprise when I found they had written the check to the license bureau. So I made yet another trip to the dealership and asked them to rewrite the check to me. I was told they couldn't do that. Did I have the sales documents to the car. No. I don''y usually carry my file cabinet around with me, especially when I am driving my other car. Then we can't help you. Si tore their check up and threw it in the desk. They have lost a lot more than the $25.00 they owed me, they have lost a customer. Not only did I purchase two cars from them, but also an extended warranty which I intend to cancel as soon as I get home and get the paperwork. I will never do business with this haphazard crew of clowns again and you would be well advised not to do so either!

I bought my Honda CRV five years ago at Cape Girardeau Honda and have thoroughly enjoyed driving it. My salesman, Bud McMillan, was pleasant to work with and a true professional! I take my Honda to the same dealership for regular service and am always treated like family. My service technician, Rob Petzoldt, is the best! He always takes care of my service needs with a smile. I would highly recommend this dealership for your new car purchase and continued service.

Brad Henderson has been my service manager of choice since I purchased my first Honda, a 2010 model. Brad has become a friend while taking care of my car. Several times I have dropped by for a simple correction or adjustment which took only minutes for Brad. I had the 60,000 mile service agreement which he followed and informed me what had been done. On occasions when he might be away the other service manager, whose name I can't recall, handled my need equally as well as Brad would have. Those two gentlemen, and I feel sure others I never met personally, responded like it was their automobile. Service and excellent products make a strong company.

I was so sorry to learn of the devastating injury Brad experienced. Having him back at his service position while dependent on a wheelchair spoke volumes. I will continue to remember him in prayer as the healing process unfolds.

By the way, the shuttle service to and from my home at Chateau when needed has been appreciated. Your driver who most frequently transported me makes one feel like family. Service like that doesn't go unnoticed.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Excellent service. Great experience when buying my new car. The service department really added to my confidence in the decision I made to buy my car from Cape Girardeau Honda. I strongly recommend this car dealership. I must say they do go above and beyond. I did get a great deal from them but because of the way they take care of you after the sale I would expect to pay a premium there for my new car but I didn't. Im so pleased with my decision. I don't know how they do it but keep up the great work guys. Oh, and thank you to Cape Girardeau Honda if your reading this.

Purchased a 2007 Honda Accord with 20,000 miles. I was happy with the purchase until we got 45 minutes closer to home and two tires (front passenger, and rear driver) mysteriously deflated. Our insurance office was closed, but the dealer was still open, so we called them, and they basically told us "Shove off, the problem was yours once you drove off the lot." While I expect this from a "run of the mill" business, it definitely is not worth five stars. They will be getting no service from me in the future.

Seems like the service was outstanding until we needed a small courtesy, guidance, or really any sort of kind word.

Their dealings with me also became less and less amiable afterward. Being stranded with no one to help. Not so great.

Edit after the fact: We took the car to a tire place in a town near the breakdown, and found out it was due to faulty stems on the tires. The serviceman we spoke to (not related to Honda) said that this was something they should have checked when they put tires on the car. The used car sales manager still insists we drove over something, and was rather insulting in his demeanor.

My recent car purchase at Cape Honda was actually a great experience. Bud McMillan was not only professional and efficient, but also truly tried to help me find just the right car. He and the manager, Chris, were so caring and concerned, I felt like I was among family. And they blew away the competition with a great deal.

My husband and I found the car we wanted at Cape Girardeau Honda. The only problem was, we were 6 hours away. The staff was extremely helpful from the beginning, answering a lot of questions and sending us as many pictures as we wanted. When we finally arrived, the salesman was very courteous and helpful. The finance manager was very kind and not pushy. We really felt like we were treated as local, well known customers. At any time the employees could ve assumed we were a sure thing since we had driven all so far. They all tested us with kindness and respect. It was a wonderful experience!

I traded a 2011 Ridgeline for a 2019 Ridgeline. I was treated very well by the sales staff and everyone at Cape Girardeau Honda. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from Cape Girardeau Honda. I have always been very happy with getting maintenance. Great experience!

My battery was dead because of not using it for several weeks after hitting a deer and the day I was to take it in for repairs it wouldn t start. We were able to jump it and we called Cape Honda to see if they could put in a new battery. We were so grateful that they told us yes bring it in as soon as possible which we did and it only took about 20 minutes and we were able to drop our car off at the repair shop in plenty of time. Our thanks to them all!! (And they even did a car wash which was badly needed after setting in an open garage for about three weeks)

Unfortunate experience. Took our 2006 Honda Insight to this dealership after the IMA battery light came on. It became obvious that they didn't know how to work on the car when they had to contact Honda Technical Support within one hour of having our car. They kept the car for a month, trying different repairs that didn't work, guessing through potential problems, and running up a repair bill for a car that wasn't actually repaired. We filed a claim with Honda America and were still billed $500 by the dealership to get our car back. We needed the car back because we installed a new IMA hybrid battery prior to taking it to Cape Girardeau, Honda and needed to get the battery back out of the car to return to the manufacturer for a refund. We almost missed the deadline for returning the battery for a refund as Cape Girardeau Honda had the car so long. We were finally told after a month that they had a "plan" to repair the car for around $3200 that Honda Technical Support "guaranteed" would fix the problem. We asked what would happen if it didn't work and weren't really provided any other possible alternatives aside from being stuck with a repair bill for a car that still didn't run. We have always enjoyed Hondas and have owned several in our family over the past 15 years. We understand that hybrids can be tricky, especially since the Insight didn't sell well so some dealerships may not be equipped to work on them. However, we should have been told that up front. If we would have taken the car to a privately owned garage and this happened we would have been more understanding but since this was an actual Honda dealership they should have either repaired the car correctly in a timely manner or told us they had no idea how to repair the car and perhaps referred us to another Honda dealership that could have repaired the car. We ended up going over to the Cape Girardeau Kia dealership and purchasing a Soul since we needed a car and couldn't wait any longer for transportation. Our research from independent sources showed that the Kia Soul actually outperforms the Honda Fit and Civic on reliability. And it ended up costing about $4000 less than either of these two Honda options. And the Kia dealership was fantastic to deal with from beginning to end with no hassling on the price or purchase. And they dealer located exactly what I asked for within 24 hours of my purchase. I'm disappointed because I have always respected the Honda brand and I believe the correct course of action would have been as I stated above with communication or else we should have at least not had to pay $500 for a car that is still not repaired.

Went in for an oil change, forgot my coupon, car was crazy dirty because of the snow/ice/salt/etc. They took me to work, came and got me, and my car was super clean when I picked it up....even though it was freezing cold outside. Best $40 I've spent in forever. Thanks guys!

Bud and Vernon are the two most respectable salesmen I've ever met, along with a very well maintained service department. Inventory from Honda to many other brands with outstanding warranties and coverage! Did I mention you get free car washes? From the moment we pulled in for service, I knew we would have a good experience! I dont generally take my 2 toddlers to run errands like this knowing that they'll be required to wait long periods of time but I can say I'd do it again tomorrow, at Honda in Cape! Brad greeted us immediately and even let my yougest push the big garage door opener! Another young man with dark hair came and wiped my sons hands clean after he had been touching all over my dirty tires! I wish I would have gotten his name. Each employee that walked by us was friendly and kind! Brad continued to take fantastic care of us by getting my stroller set up outside so I could take my anxious boys on a walk. Another put on a movie for them. It was just such a pleasant experience! And these guys knew we were from out of town so cant count on us to be return customers, they were being kind and helpful because thats what they do! I will continue to sing the praises of Honda in Cape! I was reminded of the good in the world yesterday, Thank you tremendously, Brad and all employees at Honda!

I am 78 - had 2 children in the loaded car with the dog. Called Bud, the salesman I deal with who listened to my problem and immediately sent me to the right people.

They talked to me about the problem so I could understand and be aware of what to watch for, which got me to cape.

I cannot give enough compliments to the technical service and the personal care (Brad and Robbie especially) at cape Honda

Excellent service all the way from shopping to purchase. Chance, Tom and Norman worked for us to get us the vehicle we needed for our large family. They were patient and friendly, took the time to understand what we needed and made it happen, even dropping the price of the vehicle so we could afford to add a warranty. Worst service and even service manager is worse than ever. If you can t handle and face your regular customer you shouldn t be a service manager. I been using this location for while for both of my vehicles service.
Now it seems like this Honda location don t care about their loyal customer.
I strongly recommend to go other Honda location for purchase and service.....Dave munganest is one of the best location for purchase and service.....When I purchased my CR-V from St. Louis, this cape location lost my business because sales person doesn t want to adjust his commission now they lost business for my both Honda vehicles services....

They test peoples batteries at the CA rating instead of the CCA rating. The batteries will fail if you test CCA at CA rating .Telling folks their batteries are bad when all they really did was intentionally fail the battery. All batteries fail testing at CA unless they are brand new. Dont fall for the bad battery test. They dont test batteries right!

Everyone at Cape Honda are always so nice and helpful with great smiles. Rob in service has been especially helpful to us in a recent event where a towing company damaged our car in transit and just dropped it in their lot. Rob quickly alerted us that there was a problem and helped us get details we needed. He set us up in a rental car that day and kept us updated with statuses and was very understanding when dealing with the towing companies insurance who was less than cooperative. Customer service like his insures that we will always come back to Cape Girardeau Honda in the future.
