Not a great girls welcome at the office but the boys were perfect.

We went last weekend for our engagement trip and was first time parasailing and was absolutely amazing and a must do!! Great staff and crew. Also, HIGHLY advise doing the 2k height. Well worth it!!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE customer service. BEWARE!!! I came to Dennis Parasail while on vacation in Cape Cod with my boyfriend. It was our first time parasailing so instead of bringing our cellphones, we opted for purchasing the photo package that they offer - 25 high quality photos for $30. Not a bad deal, right? Or so we thought. Upon arriving on the boat, we come to find out that there was no working battery for the camera (AKA they forgot to charge the battery the night before!). As an alternative, the captain & his 2 female assistants offered to snap a few pictures on their iPhone/iPad and email it to us free of charge; as well as promising to refund those who purchased the photo package. We immediately took advantage of this and kindly asked the girls to take several photos as this was our first time, and we wanted to be able to have the memory saved. We went up in the air, posed for several pics, came back down and at the end of the trip, I tipped the captain & his assistants an additional $30 in cash. All was great until I returned home - after sending numerous e-mails and making numerous calls to Dennis Parasail, I HAVE STILL YET TO HEAR ABOUT MY REFUND. A representative over the phone rudely informed me it takes 7-10 business days for the refund to process, meanwhile it had already been a full 3 weeks. THANK GOD my Chase card has a great policy, allowing me to refute the photo charge. HOWEVER, ON TOP OF THAT - the photos they took of us in the air on their iPad? After NUMEROUS EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS AGAIN regarding just a SIMPLE PICTURE OF US IN THE AIR - Dennis Parasail sends us 6 pictures, of which NONE OF THE PHOTOGRAPHED WAS OF US. The representative over the phone has promised me SEVERAL TIMES to reach out to the girl who took the pics, but I have heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ITS NOW BEEN 2 MONTHS!! REALLY?! Who on earth is running this place? Is there anyone at all who monitors the e-mail system or follows up with any phone calls/matters for customers after already forked out their money?! BIG SHAME ON YOU GUYS, DENNIS PARASAIL.

I bought a deal from groupon which has both jetski and parasail. But when i went to their office, they said i will get parasail only. They cheated by giving false information while buying. Theywere adamant. Will never visit again.

The company tells you that you are going to get 8-10 minutes of airtime when parasailing. That was not the case when me and my girlfriend went. She had a go pro on the whole time and we only got to fly for 6 minutes. That is like jipping me out of 60 dollars because it costs like 200. I expect a refund for at least the average of 3 minutes of airtime that we lost. I will send in the video as proof if that's what it takes. All the other aspects of our experience were great, the employees were very nice and informative. I just cant help but think about all the people who have been a bit scammed and just didn't notice. A professional business would have a timer on their boat.

This place was awesome. Hadn't been jet skiing in 20 years however it's just like riding a bike. Mike the owner was great guy to deal with and our guide Drake was very informative and very helpful. Would highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy jet skiing at Dennise Parasailing and jet ski. Can't wait to bring back more friends and go again!

Customer service is horrible. Staff for the most part (very few exceptions) is unbelievably rude. Traveled a little over two hours and it s was a COMPLETE waste of time and money.. Granted I was a bit late for my time slot but the way it was handled was wrong. At no time was I informed of a strict no tardiness policy even though it says your paying for the hour they almost didn t allow to go. I had to basically beg them to let us go. We went out to the guide and were told to turn back in. Total time of five minutes. Not only was I talked down to and laughed at after trying to polite and understanding. I also was never told how much I was being charged, paid in advance (which at the time wasn t an issue because I thought I was guaranteed 100% fun) I left disappointed, in tears and pretty humiliated. Asked for another time slot and was told they were sold out and I couldn t even buy another time even though they were still taking appts at the time of my arrival. Normally don t complain for anything and take things pretty lightly but this was out of control. If I could save anyone for my experience or giving people like that your money then this review is worth it. I never wanted anything for free. I offered to pay DOUBLE to be able to go and still refused lied to my face and said they were booked and took phone calls for later appts right in front of me. Unbelievable.

Edit: Appointment time was at 3 I arrived at 3:15 apologized so many times I lost count. I did not want a refund, at no point did I ask for my money back. I just wanted to use the skis and all I was told was that it was sold out. Not even an option for another day/time for the future was offered.. (Which i again would have paid for) I was not trying to be disrespectful towards anyone or their time. I didn t realize you could rate your customers but I did show up and try to Rectify the situation. I wish there was a better solution than the way it was handled. Also charged me double insurance and I had called to have it refunded. At no time was I rude or inappropriate. When my phone call was returned and I was told I was right and would be refunded I said thank you and before I could say anything was hung up on.

love this place been going here for years and it s always an easy sign up for whatever you re doing. went parasailing one year loved it, went jet skiing last year loved it, as well as this year with the jet skis. was taken down in a colorful van as usual by a nice man and we were having good conversations too, he even joked around a bit. we were taken on the jet skis by jack this guy was the bomb. he was so chill and was attentive to our questions. my dad was a first time rider and jack did a great job of making sure he knew everything before going out. very fun experience. just make sure you remember your license!

Super experience with Mandy and Mike. I was an observer while my 16 and 11 years olds went parasailing together. They were one of three groups (2, 3, 2) that went up. Each ride was 6-10 minutes and obviously thrilling for everyone. Mandy took plenty of pictures, which we bought (SD card) for $45. So, maybe a bit expensive, but well worth it for the fun and to support a small business.

I take the family to the Cape every summer and Dennis Parasail is by far everyone's favorite activity. The staff is super friendly and the boat is always is great condition. Trust me, if you are in the Cape and want an awesome time, Dennis Parasail should be at the top of your list for fun things to do.

If it's your first time I highly recommend this specific rental agency. Guides generally stay in one spot on the water to help you if you need anything but otherwise give you free reign to do what you please.

It s not about the walk in booking for which I gave the low rating. We understand walk-in booking has very less chance of enjoying the experience. It s the rude behavior of the person in behind the reception desk. It s outright rude.

This is by far the most shadiest place I ve been to. Don t ever pay them upfront. You are not going to get your money back. The owner is extremely rude. He charged us the full amount for being a couple of minutes late and refused to offer the service. I tried to explain my situation very politely and nice. Asked him if he could give us a refund or give credit so that we can come back on another day. Even offered that I would recommend them to friends. This is the exact words the owner responded to me.

I don t know you, why would I give money to you. I won t even give my mother any money. And I don t need any recommendations from you or your friends. I m fully booked all year round. Please leave my premises immediately.

After doing this I over heard another customer yelling and crying at them that they ripped money off of her and didn t offer her full service. And the lady who works there was very rude to her. I think these people have become over confident of having too much business over the years and completely forgotten about customer service.

Save your hard earned money. Stay away from these people. they are unethical and a total rip off.

Went on a jetski today. Everyone was amazing and friendly. Our guide, Jack, was the absolute best. Engaging and very helpful. Coming back tomorrow for parasailing!

So much fun! Our guys were great (I forget one of their names but I remember telling him he reminded me of Maui, and his companion taking the photos and helping out was Mason), they were both awesome and made it a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend! The Cape is incredible and parasailing above it was magical!

I had am amazing experience here last summer jet skis were great and staff was very flexible. I was wondering how I can get in touch with the owner of this business. We LOVED it!! Way better than we even expected. Parasailing is awesome and we (me and my 9 and 11 yr old) would highly recommend it. It might be an annual thing for us. They really seem to know what they were doing and clearly that s important.

I d caution this though, in case it matters to you, masks are not required on the boat and you re sitting next to strangers from random places. So if you re someone who this matters to you might want to know this. I felt a little uncomfortable with this, but fingers crossed no big deal I just thought it strange when we also did a whale watch with another company which mandated social distancing and made us wear masks the entire 4 hour trip.

Jetski was great but you can do that anywhere customer service was horrible. Tom took us out, everything was fine then once in the van to go back, they took us to the habormaster they must of not had there story straight yet because they took us back to our cars, then once we got back to the cars they said we have to go back to the habormaster. At that time Tom was there with bill menzie habormaster bill had his phone out ready to record. They stated I was speeding thru the habor. )One thing I do know is I was the 3rd one in the habor and I was the 3rd one to dock.) Then once I said I wasnt spending thru the habor they told me i wasn t spending in the habor I was spending past a boie about ten yards away from the habor. One thing they said Is not to idle in the harbor and I did not idle in the harbor.my recommendation is to find some where else to jetski

This was my first time parasailing and while I was a bit hesitant I felt very safe and ended up having a great time! Mike and Mandy were very friendly and it felt very well organized. I would definitely recommend this for someone's first time flying.

Recently took my teens (ages 13,14,15,16) and one child (age 10) parasailing. Person on phone sounded very accommodating.
However this was not the case day of our trip.
Staff seemed to be rushing.
Captain was hardly friendly. Seemed annoyed, rushed. Did not fully attempt to talk us thru procedures. Was very brief with instructions.
Co-captain kept trying to upsell us more expensive ride. This was very annoying, especially since we had such young riders. No we don t want to go higher..
Concern: They did not have enough properly fitting life vests. He attempted to get one from dock but as we sailed off he and his co-captain did not check it for proper fit. Had to ask 3 times for proper vests until they just settled with one that was too big. Other teens had to wear ones that also did not fit properly, they were clearly too tight.
Also found it strange that a male staff would be putting harnesses on young female teens when in my opinion a women staff should be doing.

Concern: Ride on boat was a rough. Especially as we stood to be clipped up. Was very concerned that the staff did not take extra caution with our youngest who was barely keeping her balance trying to hold on. She almost slipped off boat! Neither of the staff attempted to help her steady herself and should have help clipped her up first.

We also had requested to ride in 2 s. Captain made lame excuse that we couldn t due to weight however seemed more due to his need to finish quickly than anything else.
Time in air was only 6 minutes.

BIG CONCERN: And what was most concerning to me was that as soon as we were back in the boat they everyone to take off all their harness AND life jackets!!?? We were still out in OPEN water, not in marina and moving quite quickly. Kids couldn't balance to stand to take off harnesses because of speed of boat. Littlest one barely could hold on while boat rushed back too fast. Then the co-captain falls on the boat because of their rushing and the driving the boat too fast while attempting to grab all our life jackets before we should be taking them off. These are MAJOR SAFETY concerns!
Please consider a different business before choosing Dennis Parasail.

Also other concern:
With recent shark activity at the cape. Heard staff talking about near beaches being closed and how they hoped the word did it get out because they would lose business .

We had an amazing time parasailing with Captain Tom and Mate Amy! Thank you for an unforgettable time! We also had a great experience jet skiing with DJ! Can't wait to do it again next time we're on the Cape!

My wife and I did parasailing for our honeymoon, and we had a blast! Mike our captain and Mandy our guide were friendly, cheerful, and professional, and they clearly explained what we had to do. If you can afford it, I highly recommend going 2,000 feet. It's worth it.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to fly like a bird over the sea, this is the safest way to do it. The sky, sea, and shoreline are calm, relaxing, and beautiful at that height. It's surprisingly quiet up there too.

I came into parasailing a bit nervous and anxious but walked away hooked, wishing I had more time up there. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to do this, and I'd do it again with Dennis Parasailing myself!

Captain Mike and deck hand Collin were awesome. Knowledgeable and thorough. Pricing not up front. I called to schedule and was not informed of a spectator charge. Wasn't prepared for $39 per person spectator cost or per person charge for pictures when we took a tandem flight. We were prepared for a $350 charge but our total was $450 without tip.

I'm not sure what was going on the day we went parasailing, but this company just didn't seem to have it together. The driver arrived 35 minutes late because no one had informed him that he had to work that day. The woman in the office meanwhile tried to sell me lots of expensive artwork that I tried to tell her I wasn't interested in. She insisted that we leave all of out belonging in our car for safe keeping, not mentioning that we were expected to ti[p on the boat. This left us in an awkward situation with the boat crew, and we had to hope that she gave them our tip and didn't just pocket it herself. The driver complained the whole way to the dock about the company and how disorganized they are, the two people on the boat proceeded to do the same. No one told us what their name was, and no one gave us any safety instructions. We clearly said we wanted to do the relaxing trip, no water dunking, nothing crazy. Instead they let us out the full 800 ft on a VERY windy day. So windy, the boat crew said we shouldn't have even been booked that day. We were dunked on the way in after screaming and gesturing to come in for about 10 minutes. I was in a full blown panic attack by the time we got back, and they tried to charge us for the 800 ft "Stratosphere" trip, which we once again, clearly said we didn't want. If I make it back out to the Cape and want to try parasailing again, I will definitely look elsewhere.

Hannes and I had a great trip parasailing today! We did the photo package and the higher trip and it was AMAZINGGGGGGG!!! This is our first time in the Cape, this is a must try if you re visiting from out of town. Highly recommend!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! MONEY LAUNDERERS!! EXTREMELY RUDE and DISHONEST.

Took us out on the boat for parasailing, but after just a one round closed down stating bad weather. Well, that was fine. But, when we asked for our money back, the owner asked us to leave (extremely rudely). I mean, there is a way of putting things when you re working face-to-face with customers. They definitely need some customer-service training.
Looted 3 more people in front of us, one of them came back with tears demanding her money back. Believe me, I am not lying and I have videos to prove the course of these events.
I was in the parasail boat (although we couldn t do it due to bad weather - thank God!) - the captain opened the parasail and it just fell into the water. Not very efficient considering the dangerous nature of these adventurous water sports.
Customers repeatedly complained about the jet-skis not having enough fuel to complete the promised 1-hour trip. Looks like they are fooling customers by taking them with half-filled fuel tanks, and returning in just 30 minutes stating fuel issues . I mean, you re paying over $170 - you gotta get what you paid for right?!
The funniest part was the fact that they compare themselves to an AIRLINE !! Look at yourself people, you re just running a water sports business, you are nowhere even close to comparing yourself to an airline. And just so you know ( Maybe you haven t taken enough flights, I m not sure) - airline companies have an extremely efficient customer service, they refund/reschedule customers for bad weather and even do the best they can to put you back FOR FREE if you have missed your airline by a few minutes. The lady there is so rude, she was unwilling to even consider accommodating her customers.
Customers repeatedly questioned the 5-star rating they have received. I m not sure how they have this, maybe they are paying people to write reviews with all the money laundering going on !
STAY AWAY. There are many other companies offering the same services, please save your money and for the sake of your peace of mind, book other vendors. These guys are rude, nasty, cheap and foolish.

What an amazing morning! Such a clean boat, efficient and friendly captain and first mate! Mike was able to calm down a nervous mom and girl with some jokes, Colin was so helpful and specific with safety and how to put on our gear, and Casey was helpful and lovely during our check-in! We had drove all the way from Connecticut to Capecord for jetski hoping that we would have a good time. But it was quite disappointing when we were charged $250 for flipping a jet ski. We were not given any information about insurance. If the staff explained about the insurance we might have definitely taken the insurance instead of taking a chance. We were not given any chance to talk. The staff kept on saying you didn't take insurance so you have to pay $250 dollars and she cannot do anything. Later I spoke with the owner but he also asked about insurance and said he cannot help. So get the insurance even if they don't explain about that.. When you book the slots they will not tell you about insurance also you will not see it in their website. So it is going to cost you more than what they say through phone..

Took my boyfriend Jet Skiing for the first time... Iv personally Been jet skiing many of times, I was super excited after I was able to get over the price which is pretty steep already then they told us we should get the roll over insurance for $25 Each so we did and I m still excited then they tell us no phones if I had known that I would never booked with them... me and my boyfriend do a lot of things together working on our photo album for our future kids and that being his first time we don t have that memory to share which is very upsetting

I rented some jet skis over 4th of July break and my family had a blast. Everyone was so friendly and the attention you get when out in the water is perfect. You feel like you have freedom on the water to ride around a large area but also have a tour guide watching closely to be there if you need assistance. If you are on the cape, I would put this high on your to do list. We plan on coming back and trying the parasailing. Everyone that got off a parasailing trip seemed like they had a good time.

We drove 45 minutes only to be told by the person who was laying, yes, laying across the counter that he called us and cancelled. He did not. The blonde woman working with him immediately got defensive and kept pointing at my phone number saying isn't this you?? The blonde woman actually seemed like she wanted to have a physical altercation. Something tells me she does this often. There charges are still on my credit card even though they said they not only called me but they spoke to me and credited my account.
Extremely shady and untrustworthy.

My sister and i had the best experience today. From the office staff reassuring me and calming my nerves, to our crew.. Mandy and capt Pete...making this a fun,safe and exciting experience...every aspect of our adventure was awesome. My sister is 65 and the youngest passenger was 4...all ages fun. Thanks everyone!

Just got back from our hour long jetski run, absolutely nothing to complain about but getting wet and having a blast. So yea no complaints and our guide masan helped us out of the water and pointed out some interesting wildlife to my son. Loads of fun!!

I had a terrible experience and feel as if customer service could have been WAY better especially if they wanted my business even after they made a 2 huge mistakes. Prices on webpage were misleading. They claimed they changed them 3 days ago. I ve been researching for weeks and when I call to book the prices went up! My credit card was charged way more than what was quoted over the phone. They caught it and said they refunded me but they refunded me less money than I was supposed to receive. So if I didn t catch it they would ve just taken more money from me than expected. Very upsetting that now I need to wait for that refund. Spoke with manager and ended up canceling when she reassured me the prices on the website were corrected recently and suggested that maybe I wasn t looking at the correct site. I knew I had the correct site because that s where I retrieved all information including phone number to originally make the call. Customer service is key. You made 2 mistakes and thought just giving a refund (of your accidental charge) would make things better. Considering some of your other reviews I m very disappointed in my experience with this business. You shouldn t have employees who don t know how to do business with others or who are not familiar with the payment systems.

Staff definitely knows what their doing when it comes to water sports. They are professional, equipment in top notch condition. They make you feel assured you are safe and well guided.

Place is expensive all types of hidden charges when I arrived and they fine you for breaking there rules 25$ a time

The husband and I decided to go jet skiing it was the best! We had so much fun we paid for another hour on the jet skis. Staff was very nice, the male OWNER was not so warm and welcoming but oh well. We would go back again !

We had a blast! The people were all great and very pleasant. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is it is expensive and they don't let you take any of your own cameras or electronics. That said, it was a great time!

Just went earlier today; great time! Two very good guys took care of our party of 4 (one of which was my 76 year old Mom). This is something that anyone can and should do! Great views without any type of whiplash or impact. Takeoff and landing both very gentle, right off the back of the boat.
They took about 70 pictures which we happily purchased.

It was a beautiful day for parasailing. The seas were a bit choppy but the boats crew put everyone's mind at ease. It was a great experience and wonderful memory. Thanks

I went parasailing here with my family back in July. Overall we had a good time but some things were lacking. We opted for the $45 photo package (the guide takes professional pictures and gives them on an SD card). When we got home we found out there were no pictures on the SD card! We found it to be an extremely dated form of giving pictures especially after paying so much money. We expected the photos to be transferred onto a USB, something far more reliable. Of course we called for a refund and fortunately, it was processed. The lady apologized but showed no real regret. Her response was "Technology fails, what can you do?" While that is true, I did not find that very professional. As for the experience itself, we did enjoy ourselves but not as much as we could have. My parents and I went together (3 people) and it was a bit uncomfortable. We wish they would have told us about the potential discomfort of 3 adults going together. If we had known, we would have done it separately. Finally, most of the staff is kind but my father did have some issues with one of the employees. He described her tone as 'rude and condescending'. It was a good experience overall I guess but unfortunately I cannot recommend this business to others.

My family and I had the most amazing experience at this business. The staff Mandy and Mike, were so pleasant and courteous. They're experienced and knowledgeable, they made my family and myself feel safe and welcomed. Just one ride with them and you know they are seasoned vets to the trade. I would recommend this duo ( or individually) to anyone who desires a secure way to satisfy their thrill seeking needs.

Pretty shirty Experience the guides knew the water conditions were horrible they took our money and sent us out in 5+ foot waves can't really do much in that large of swells save your money and ask im out 250 bucks to get beat by waves

Dennis parasail is a fully recommended place, the staff is so friendly and kind, I think is a family business, the experience was amazing, I went with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed and had a great time doing parasail, the place around is beautiful and calm, definitely going again, thanks!

I had good experience here when I went Jet Skiing. The shuttles and the timings were all very well managed. The staff was courteous as well. It's a bit expensive though especially after you have to add an additional $25 for insurance.

The services were a bit overpriced and specifically, prices listed can be misleading for photo services, giving one adequate reason to be cautious about choosing services from these guys. One thing that should be noted is that despite the safe services rendered, the ride was kind of short for the price and the nonprinted invoiced list of services you return to the office from the captain/support personnel on the boat was a little questionable. Second to this was the surprise to find out they decided to add an additional $3 to the $7 tip that we added on the written invoice This is simply theft. It is not that much, but it is unacceptable to do and does not give me reason to recommend this company to anyone. I don't believe anyone should have to watch out for poor business practices like this when being a patron to business of any kind. Note that these charges were placed on my mother in law's card so for these charges to come through incorrectly; and mind you separately charged cost of services from tip charge by 3 days, is a bit unnerving on top of it all.

Well run, they got us on the boat and up in the air quickly. The crew was friendly and made sure everyone had fun! Also, they do charge you if you want to parasail out to 2000ft instead of the normal 1000ft, but it was fun AND you get a free t-shirt out of it

My family went parasailing and it was a blast. Mike and Mandy were great. It was a very enjoyable. We would definitely go back and do it again! The pictures Mandy took are great!

Worst parent guilt ever: I threw my 12 year old off the back of the jet ski. It was during our last five minutes and his hands were numb from holding so tight for an hour.

I have to commend our guide, Tom, for the way he handled the situation. He helped my son up into his jet ski, and during the ride back, whatever he did/said to my son made sure that he wasn t scared, embarrassed, or traumatized by what happened. As a Mom, that meant EVERYTHING. Thank you Tom!

I had so much fun and I m so so happy to have gone parasailing here, this was the most fun I ve had in so long! The staff was super friendly and fun the entire time, I had a really good experience and completely recommend coming here when you re in the area!

Caution: Money back guarantee is a lie. Should something go wrong, don't bother asking for it. Also, Customer service is awful! Should something go wrong, be prepared to be completely ignored. Also, I think they are very clever in extracting a 25% tip over the parasail fee. Also, their photos were all awful. We took better ones with our cameras! Save money there too.
If possible. pick another company.

I would not have brought this to a public site had this matter been resolved. Since I never heard back on my mails and voice messages, I think this company has earned this review. Whether or not my mail made sense, I deserve a reply.

I just saw that I am not the first one here to write about their terrible customer service and not the first to highlight the false promise of moneyback either. People have been complaining for years about their customer service but nothing seems to have changed until Sept 2017. It's not surprising to me that the owner writes back to each of such reviews defending himself and saving his staff but never responds to personal emails and voicemails!! One's character is what one is in the dark!! Unfortunately, most people do not leave bad reviews...It's hard to come back to something unpleasant and we tend to avoid them and then forget. But I did not want it to slip away, hence I am taking the time to write here.

Short story:
I went Parasailing on one Saturday, did not like it but made the mistake of paying for it (for a good reason). After coming home, we realized that it was a big rip off and felt bad about them cleverly extracting that 25% tip. So, since we did not enjoy the ride, we wrote to them invoking their 'Money back guarantee' promise. Did not hear from them for a few days! When I called, My call was answered by the rudest person ever. I asked her if she (I think Lynn but not sure) received my mail on this subject to which she said no. So I explained to her what my mail was about, to which she retorted saying I should not have paid in the first place. "If you paid, you don't get the money back. That's what the promise means". I said there is not need to argue or get upset. I explained that I didn't read that on the website and that the promise has the word 'money back' in it, which happens after payment, not before. I also explained why we did not refuse to pay there (we had a company; so we did not wish to be spoiltsports).
She asked me to re-send the mail (Find below). I did not hear even after that. I even left several voicemails but have not heard from them. It's been 3 weeks!!

Since pretty much all companies I come across are super diligent about being customer friendly and do their best to show they care, I can say that I am a bit shocked to not even hear from them...it's not just about the claim but it's about being reasonable about it. And responding, at the very least.

Attached is the screenshot of your Promise. It clearly says 'money back' which, to me, means refund after a payment has been made. It doesn't even have a 'conditions apply' to prompt the customer to check the rules of invoking this policy. Hence it isn't clear to us when exactly the satisfaction claim sold be made.
