Very good, solid Mexican food. A little pricey, and I've occasionally had some mediocre food - but 9/10 times, the food is delicious. Recommend the enchiladas over the tacos. Sides are very good. Green salsa that comes w the complimentary chips is very good. Plan to lie down for a nap if you go for brunch. Great for groups, outdoor seating and happy hour. Expect a wait during peak hours - but You can cross the street to the bottle shop for a drink, while you wait for your table, if it's busy.

The breakfast burrito

The breakfast burrito
And the happy hour pitchers are great on a nice day.

For whatever the reason if it is windy you get pummeled outside

After living along the Avenue for several years, and giving this place chance after chance, I think I'm finally done. It's an area "hotspot" but it gets worse each time I go. The meal I had there most recently barely had any flavor! I will say that their burritos are huge. But they prepare them in "sections" so all the rice is in one area, all the beans are in another area, all the meat is in yet another area, etc. More sunglasses, beards, and bike locks than anywhere else in South Philly.

Good ambience. Super friendly and helpful Waiters. Food is decent, not too spicy. But they do serve complementary nachos and salsa which are good..Empanadas and Tacos are decent. Burritos are great. One important point for non Americans.. No booze is served until age proof is provided via Passport.. A driver's license of the native country is not Accepted

I was looking forward to some good Mexican and margaritas, but I was absolutely blown away by the "Vegan Bowl" I ended up getting off the daily specials menu. It was incredible! Black beans, rice, avocado, spinach, crispy cauliflower reminiscent of shrimp tempura, butternut squash, and the whole thing drizzled with some kind of heavenly peanut sauce. Super flavorful, super filling, A+ vegan food. I would come back again and again just for this one dish. Please add this one to the permanent menu!
