I really enjoyed coming here. I took a walk around the area with my mom and it was great. Perfect to walk here during fall to see all the different colors. I will definitely come back here when there are events in the area.
this place is bootyful i love it :) period so yea that it also hi Matthew
Kind of boring for kids but nice to go with Grandparents
Great park. Fun atmosphere for your family. Beautiful nature scenes.
Just an amazing place for couples or families to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We go there at least two to three times a year. No entry fee just parking which is around 10 dollars.
Nice place! But there's a lot of construction that's been going on for a long time. But don't let that deter you!
Great place to have a picnic. Flower garden is exceptional. All this for a $10.00 entrance fee
Beautiful gardens, tanks to climb on, stunning grounds, easy walking paths, and a playground! The museum wasn't open, but we will visit again when it is.
Has something for everyone; lush gardens, first division museum, and large stately home.
Cantigny never disappoints. The grounds are gorgeous and the exhibits engaging. Did the tour of the mansion for the 1st time and really enjoyed it.
My grandsons love the tanks, adults love the beautiful gardens! Museum very informative - liked the trench warfare simulations. Get a feel for what soldiers had to deal with.
Very interesting. 1st Division museum was really nice and kids love climbing on the tanks.
Wonderful park with picnic tables and playground! The whole area is clean and neat. Enjoyed spending Sunday there.
Fun place to walk and see the military tanks from WW 1 to present day. Beautiful scenery. It's a good place to reflect on what many gave up for our freedoms.
ALWAYS an enjoyable experience here...can YOU find Kilroy?!
Tanks on static display on the lawn and classic car show in the parking lot! All that fun in one location on one day! And these car shows, as I understand it, are regular events, call the park for scheduling.
I've been going here occasionally since I was little!!
Very fun and calm place to go to on nice days. Many great places to take pictures in, and is definitely worth going to.
We recently held my father's Memorial Service at Le Jardin in Cantigny Park and it was wonderful. From Lindsey's amazing planning and prompt communication to the amazing staff that worked the event, everything went off without a hitch, and the food was great, too!
I would also like to note that since we were hosting a Memorial Service, they did not charge us for use of the venue, nor charged us a "minimum" amount we had to spend, which I thought was incredibly generous.
Went there for my parents 50th wedding anniversary & happen to see a wedding going on. Very nice.
It's a beautiful place. Lot's of history and so much to see. You would have to come several times to see everything. Saw the mansion. It was interesting to learn about the McCormick's.
The Information Center has a gift shop, restuarant, and in the of of it in the floor is a display of Cantigny Park. Hope to the next time to see the Education Center and the First Division Museum and walk as around to see all gardens. They do have picnic grounds campgrounds.
Right now they have some areas closed for Revitalization.
Make sure you have water with you.
This place is so much fun! The tanks are amazing! Museums are life changing! One of our favorites!
Always go for free first Wednesday of the month and have a walk around. Now that the museum is open it's really an amazing destination far and above just the beautiful homes and landscaping
This place is beautiful. We did our wedding pictures here years ago in the fall and they came out beautiful. In the spring and summer I enjoy coming here with my kids. The new Park area is really nice. The tanks are interesting to read about when the kids climb. The gardens are well kept. It's a deal to only have to pay $5 for the carload.
Do you have about 10 tanks? Some of them can be climbed up, so I think it's quite fun for families with children.
The park is beautiful and very picturesque. There are always families and couples taking pictures. The military museum and McCormick mansion are added bonuses.
There's a lot of renovating going on, the areas that are completed and beautiful and great to see. There is a lot roped off.
It's an amazing place to go to learn about military history and take some really amazing pictures of some wildlife and family foot arrest of the different Parker's they have to offer
Hot day, but was cool in the visitor's center and the tour of the residence was great!
They have many nice good condition tanks and nice presentations of the Wars throughout the times.
Nice but not worth $10 to get in to just take prom pictures
Cantigny is a beautiful park that beautifully intertwines nature and history. My family and I always love to visit in the evenings (close to closing) when the admission price is discounted. We were disappointed to find during our recent visit that the gate price was increased to $10.00, even at 6:00 pm, and even though all the museums were closed. Furthermore, the visitors center was closed for a private event.
Loved it! Wish it wasn't rainy when we visited. Very handicapped friendly.
Beautiful park. The tulips in bloom were definitely instagram worthy!
As a veteran who served in our Foreign Wars, I can't say enough about this place!
Super cool if you like Army stuff and history. Kids splash pad,and flower gardens with ponds unbelievable beautiful. Nice place to take family or date. 5.00 for car load to get in. Everybody I know who's been here loved it.
It was amazing there was so much stuff to look at they come with new exaibets slot and stuff is going around there soon so go check them out u will love it
Interesting military museum, plus educational Revolutionary War Reinactment held here every summer.
Very nice park! Not much hiking, but beautiful gardens
Beautiful place, the grounds and mansion. The Museum is phenomenal. Kid friendly
What a beautiful place to visit. The scenery is what makes this place a treasure.
Stunning new gardens. Great updated museum that kids will love, and fun mansion tours. Gazebo summer concerts always have top notch bands too! Great way to spend a day.
Easy to social distance, clean bathrooms, and the kids can climb on most of the tanks, as well as the onsite playground.
It's a very nice park in the burbs. They charge a fee to enter.
Not very fond of paying for parking to walk a decently looking park when there are already other options in the area that are at the level of quality. It is a nice park and the parking fee is cheaper on Wednesdays.
We love Cantigny with its beuitiful gardens and historical points of interest. There are many great events throughout the year including concerts, car and art shows, performances and holiday events. The kids love splashing in the play fountains and visiting the children's garden.
A beautiful place to run around, play on tanks, and learn some history.
Beautiful park. Went for a historical reenactment (Revolutionary War). They treated us very well.
Very nice place. Recommend taking a visit at any age
Amazing with free admission. Parking fee only. Beautiful grounds and great for history buffs.
Fun place to visit with the kids and be able to get a nice walk in. Love the new playground and for only $5 a carload, you can't beat the price. We enjoy the interactive musuems as well as all the beautiful flowers and arrangements that they have for the plants each time we go.
Also love trying to find all the colorful sofas all over the place too.
I was the DJ at a wedding here tonight. The venue was beautiful, the staff was good and the views were amazing.
This place is so nice and relaxing. Just walk around enjoy the trails and gardens.
The home is really lovely, and the gardens are quite extensive. They recently redesigned the gardens around the lagoon, and while I liked them better the way they were, they are still beautiful. The Idea Garden is always fun for kids. I'm not a fan of the Military Museum, which is near the mansion and Idea Garden, but kids love climbing all over the tanks they've got on display outdoors.
It was very good there was much to do and the tanks where fun Cause you are allowed to play on them I definitely recomend this place if your bored at home or just looking to learn something new about the wars and that we are the first division
Great place for a history lesson and reality check.
Thanks for being open. We had a nice family picnic!
Peaceful and even in the heat there is enough shade to give one rest.
A very special place. A must see for everyone who appreciates the sacrifice and service of those who have so much.
This was my first time going. My girlfriend was excited to bring me here because I enjoy war memorabilia. The park had alot of really cool pieces from many different eras. I do recommend if you have not been here.
The first Wednesday of the month, parking is free. Lots of kids really enjoying climbing on the tanks. The gardens are amazing. The food at the bistro is very good with very good service. Very enjoyable visit. Will do it again.
Beautiful flowers and gardens. Well maintained. Had an excellent tour of the McCormick house. Good food for lunch in the cafe
I liked it a lot, but there are several areas in remodeling
