Cantigny is very beautiful and has a lot of little nooks where you could sit with your group. These are spread out enough that you could feel safe in covid times. Anyone reading my reviews will know I frequently comment on masks. Overall other guests stayed away but when they crossed our paths did not make much effort to suit up. We stopped at the playground which was empty on arrival and had about 6 other kids by the time we left. None of them or their parents wore masks or made any effort to distance. Overall, our visit was very positive because most of our time was not at the playground but in the gardens and by the tanks and I warned my kids that our playground visit may be short. We will for sure come back but will probably just not plan on the playground.

The grounds are phenomenal as well as the staff. The infantry museum is full of actual military combat artifacts making it very interesting. For example where else could you see the result of the impact of an AK-47 (Russian made assault rifle) bullet into the bullet proof glass of a US Army Humvee. You should plan to spend half a day or more not just an hour to see it all.

Annual Lego exhibition is fantastic for kids of ALL ages. Plus the WWI museum is positively Smithsonian quality. Entrance is only $5 per car regardless of number of passengers. Plus the collection of tanks is great. Our family always invites friends to join us and everyone is impressed.

This is a very beautiful park with a very long history to Chicago and Cantigny, France.

A must see park that s free to the general public. Parking is not free however but $5 is not bad at all.

Visited today with my family.
I haven t been here since I was 11 on a field trip from school.
We took the full tour of the house and First Division Museum, I even climbed on a few Tanks just as I did when I was a child but this time I shared the experience with my daughters. It was a Blast it brought back memories. I learned a lot more now than I did when I was 11. We will be returning in the fall to see the leaves change.

Simply Beautiful.

Ok

A tank garden, a couple of great museums, fantastic gardens, a selection of fun special events, this place is truly a gem. Though I wish they would bring back the stargazer nights in the autumn.

The grounds with trees and plantings are beautifully maintained. Only had time to get through half of the museum. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I will be back again when I'm in the area.

Iv always loved this place. But so much of it is still under construction. All you can see by the tanks area now is parking lot and construction. Very disappointed for paying $10 to get in.

Cool place to visit! 5$ for parking and two different museums to see if you'd like - The First Division and the McCormick Mansion. Went on a snowy day, saw both museums and it was very interesting. I hear the gardens are amazing, so I'm definitely going to head back in the spring! There's tanks on display outside which is awesome, and you're allowed on them! (at your own risk of course)

We paid $5 to park and everything else was free. The tanks were a huge hit with all three of my kids (ages 19, 15, & 10). The grounds are beautifully manicured with paved walkways, except in the gardens and directly around the tanks. The museums have so many exhibits with a lot of clothing, weapons, personal items, and stories about the soldiers. So very impressive!
