I absolutely loved this place! The first division museum was very inclusive, and they had it set up in a way that could make you feel like you were actually there. We toured the house on the property as well, however the only drawback was that it rained half of the day.

This place is awesome. Fully interactive museums, and actual tanks that you can take photos on. They also do some pretty cool events , just check their calendar. We really enjoyed the 'Doughboy' beer and donut tasting, with a historical presentation that followed.

I have to say the music in the park was fabulous. But the weather was way too hot. I would have thought after a full year their parking lot would have been done what a mess. So glad there wasn't many people there today so we didn't have to deal with a lot of crazy parking. Please get a parking lot time because we love the venue.

We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. It's a beautiful peaceful atmosphere to spend the day with the family and learn some history. The house is beautiful and it's very cool to see the military equipment. Take the ride and see it, it's VERY affordable! Stroll the grounds, enjoy the history.

This museum tells an important story of our history, and pays tribute to the men and women whose sacrifice makes our freedom possible. Meal served to our large group nicely done, but it was the history which made the stop worthwhile. Beautiful grounds, helpful staff and great new features. Thank you Cantigny!

Went here for a casual day date...and loved it! It is such a peaceful environment full of nature, history and fun. There are a few restaurants on the property and museums. I highly recommend doing the full mansion house tour! The last one is at 4PM so make sure to get there (its free!) Parking is $5 a car.

What a beautiful place! I enjoyed the gardens! Took a lot of pics of the grounds. Do not forget to visit the house. Our guide was very pleasant and helpful with questions. I have not been there often but I am looking forward to another visit soon.

My wife and I did a 5k here with friends and just as we thought when we are here browsing wedding venues, the grounds are just beautiful. The place is huge and when running 5k on the grounds you only appreciate the size that much more... The size and the fact that they keep the entire area clean and developed year round.

Great place to spend the day! The museum is interesting, but may be a bit graphic at parts for young children as they use actual historical footage. The tanks are fun to climb on and the gardens are beautiful. Can't wait to go back

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would for sure!! The park is beautiful, welcome center top notch and the war museum is out of this world - one of the best depictions I've ever seen. Actually wish I had a little more time to read everything in there. By the way the docents were spectacular hosts. We went from the museum for a tour of the McCormick house which was also done super well. Our tour guide was great.

500 acres of land with many hiking and walking trails. The war museum is a must see along with the old mansion. In summer you can enjoy the flowers. There's also a good food venue for when you get hungry. Admission is free but there is a parking fee of 10 dollars and no senior discount.

Oh, how our current experience is different from that two years ago. The "great reconstruction" destroyed everything we liked about the park: the shade, the distinct character, all the little hidden places. We loved stopping at the gazebo after a long stroll for some cool, peace and quiet. Now it is all open under a relentless burning Illinois summer sun with no place to hide, and it will take years for the trees to grow back and hide the pond from the busy Roosevelt St noise. To add insult to injury, now the park individuality is gone, it turned into your average cookie cutter park. I realize it was probably done for maintenance reasons, but it is sad nonetheless. We won't be back to Cantigny as often as we were in the past (until the trees grow back). Please bring back the shade around the gazebo!

This is a beautiful area. The park is larger than I remember from about 9 years ago. The visitor center is very nice. Today we saw the Bonsai show. It was beautiful and interesting to see the displays. The work these artists put in is amazing.
