A very friendly patron lent a tent to me when we arrived without one. The facilities are simple and aging, but clean. The camping spaces are very nice and if it is not too busy it is possible to find a secluded place.

Beautiful camping field, super location. Used a rental tent and that was nice. However, sanitation has a moderate score. Toilets would be best checked twice a day and cleaned. Often really too rancid. Clogged meat, floating droppings, shit, smeared toilet seats, wet pieces of toilet paper on the floor, piss on the glasses and on the floor. It baffled me that toilet paper is offered but hand soap apparently was a bridge too far. Taking care of small children in such circumstances does not make it easier. Furthermore, we greatly enjoy our holiday on the island. But if you prefer to use the public toilet near the beach, then at the campsite, there is clearly room for improvement.

Camping with beautiful places. Not a standard tent at tent camping ma space around you in a natural forest and dune environment. Getting used to that there was no power, but we were prepared for this. With extra cooling elements that we had with you, you could still keep the beers cold. Optionally you can also just get drinks in the canteen. Nice campsite to relax and unwind for young and old.

Super nice campsite! Spacious with a very nice friendly atmosphere. The campsite is child-friendly and the children can have a great time (without an animation team, we love that this is not there). However, guests sometimes organize Schiersong (open stage), a play or star gazing.
Plumbing is very basic, but fine. There are, however, good duo showers with thermostatic tap.
Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Both our children and ourselves enjoy this very much.
We love coming here.

The staff must be deeply ashamed of how they react to holiday makers and especially friends who want to go on holiday with each other. You call as an adult and you get a young person on the phone. Apparently, the person is not well trained because he knows nothing. A pity. Please do something about it because this really doesn't make sense. Just too idiot!

Age discrimination and employees who lie. If you are in the age category 20-30, you will be rejected. The telephone employee I spoke to was very young and had to check everything with his boss. Ronald Dobbenga makes his employees lie. I think this is not appropriate.
The site indicates that the site is full until 4 August. I made a reservation from 7 to 11 August. After my reservation I received a confirmation email. The next day I received an e-mail with the message that they "have no more room for our company". My friend called the campsite and the employee said they still have room available after August 4 (also from 7 to 11).
I then called again to ask why our reservation was rejected. I get to hear different things; first there is room available, but when I tell you the name of the reservation, there are suddenly no more places available. He then says that the tents are too big, but when I talk about smaller tents, suddenly there is no room for that either. After the employee has turned around a lot, the monkey finally comes out; there is room on the campsite but not for us.
The telephone employee I spoke to was very young and had to check everything with his boss. Ronald Dobbenga makes his employees lie. I think this is not appropriate. really ridiculous.

Perfectly organized camping. We had a nice quiet place in front of our hiker's tent. Everything has been thought of. Close to the village and yet in a natural environment. Recommended. Schiermonnikoog is also the most pleasant Wadden island for us.

This is a quiet site with little comfort.

This is a quiet site with little comfort.
A campsite for nature lovers who do not like pressure.
Nice places no cars or bikes on the property.
Basic sanitary shower coins limited hot water for washing dishes
The old toilet block toilet jars around out dirty!
Attack ground water and smell not fresh could be improved
distance to toilet building large and difficult to find in the dark.
A limited number of water taps and no possibility of disposing of used water in the area
Telephone charging possible in centrally located lockable box

Staff very grumpy. Especially those with them curl. I have never seen the toilet so dirty and the showers are also dramatic. Furthermore, you can also not play football or do other ball sports at the campsite. On the site it says that there is a football field on the corner where you can play football, but that is a big scam.

Wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Back to basic. Have been coming there for 45 years with our husband and our tent. Unfortunately nowadays alone. Staying camping is good for your fitness. Too bad the campsite cannot open now.

If you are looking for a quiet campsite in nature, this is a great place. Spacious fields but basic facilities. Toilet building overcrowded while it was not yet peak season, was very dirty and toilet paper was always used up. Also keep in mind that there shouldn't be any fiddling or volleyball, this came as a surprise to us.

The real camping site of Schiermonnikoog. Really unwind, no animation team, no electricity at the camping spots. Just camp well.
A good camping shop for the first emergency, coffee and a sandwich.
Reservations are necessary, there are many regular guests who come back every year, so make your reservation on time.

A very nice campsite. The pitches are mostly not too close to each other and partially shielded by bushes and trees of others. You can choose between places that are quieter or places where many children are running around. In addition, between sunny and shady places. The entire place is very well maintained and the toilets are cleaned several times a day.
There is a reception with a small kiosk where you can get ice cream or drinks. There is also a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a freezer that you can use. Washing machine and dryer cost a bit.
The bus from the harbor stops a few meters in front of the driveway, but you have to walk a bit because the driveway is very long. But you can borrow from the camp Bollerwagen. Bicycles can be rented directly at the campsite. These do not have a gearshift, but are very cheap.
The center of the village and the sea can be reached by bike in a few minutes.

Dirty age discrimination.

Dirty age discrimination.
That you cannot even book as a normal adult. In addition, the staff responds anti-social. Give the staff a course "courtesy to travelers" or "how do I respond politely to travelers" / "customers". Very unfortunate and also very sad !!!!

One of the few cheap places to stay on Schiermonnikoog and certainly offers the necessary, but no more than that. A reception that is only open upon arrival of the boat, no internet, no canteen or anything, not even electricity for charging your phone, for example.

People in their twenties are not welcome! My 24 year old son, who had reserved with his girlfriend and 2 friends in their late twenties, were refused on the grounds of their age. This is an absurd age discrimination. I know from my own experience that nuisance young people is a problem at this campsite. But those are not in their twenties, but teenagers who come with their parents and puke drunk over the tents at night. This is because there is no age check on alcohol.

Beautiful campsite, beautifully situated, but outrageously expensive. I like a lot of 30 per night for one tent, two adults and two children under the age of four. In addition, customer-unfriendly shower coin system with bad showers (have to pay but everyone complains about cold showers) and above all an insanely expensive safe system to charge your phone: 5!

We thought this was a truly magical campsite. Wake up to the sun that rises just above the dunes, rabbits grazing around you, pheasants and birds that walk around and whistle you awake, and all the peace around you! Beautiful and definitely recommended in the low season.
