It was a great pleasure working with Legacy Renovations. We hired them to totally renovate our upstairs master bedroom, upstairs second bathroom and the main floor powder room.
These guys demonstrated professionalism from the request for a quote to the completion of the final punch list and subsequent follow-up questions after the job was completed. They were the first to deliver to us a proposal (We opened the bidding to 5 contractors) and provided the most thorough proposal of any of the bids. They offered expertise in helping us define the scope of the project when we were not exactly sure what we wanted done. There price was competitive, yet the highest of all bids ... and now we know why.
We were hesitant to spend as much as we did but had no prior experience tackling a job of this magnitude. However, something just felt right about Legacy from the very beginning. We had many questions throughout the proposal process and Legacy helped us throughout. They were always there when we had questions and even came by in person each time to make it easier on us. The proposal process took place in July. We requested the work be done by the end of August. Legacy gave us an estimated start date and committed to it. They also guaranteed the job would be completed on time, when many of the other contractors suggested our time frame was too aggressive.
We awarded the work to Legacy because of the professionalism and courtesy they demonstrated throughout the proposal process. We definitely made the right choice. These guys showed up on Day 1 as promised. Actually every day of the project they showed up on time. They kept the "work zone" contained so as to minimize disruption anywhere else in the house. They cleaned up every day and left our house "spotless". They were extremely polite, they all spoke English and were just a joy to have around! I have worked with various contractors in the past and this is very unusual. Their respect for our home and property was demonstrated throughout. While this is all great, what really matters in the end is the finished product. No surprises there!
We couldn't be more pleased with the end result. I tend to do most of my home repairs myself as I am very particular and consider myself a perfectionist. Typically, you don't get "perfection" from contractors, yet hopefully you will get a job your are satisfied with. I was expecting about the same on this project, yet watched these guys throughout the process. They were very helpful in explaining to me everything they were doing, even though this may have slowed them down at times. They made me feel very confident that it would be done right - and it was. Not only did they meet my expectations, they far exceeded them.
Their craftsmanship is first class. They take pride in their work and it shows. They invested much more time than most contractors would and approached this project as if it were their own. There were a few bumps along the way (there always are), and various obstacles they had to overcome, but they were persistent and determined to get it done and do it right, bar none. We are very pleased with the outcome of this project and highly recommend Legacy Renovations for your kitchen or bathroom remodel as this is their specialty.
We had all bathrooms gutted and redone from the original framing (with the only structural change being the tub deck and enlarging the opening to the master bath shower). Legacy suggested enhancing our master bath tub area to include a tiled enclosure with steps, some decorative columns and a chandelier. What a difference it made! The tile work, cabinets, glass works, painting, everything is perfect! Any changes in price (all due to enhancements we introduced along the way) were clearly communicated throughout, thus ensuring no surprises to the budget in the end. We will definitely consider Legacy Renovations for all future bath and/or kitchen projects we consider in the future.
We had a great experience with Legacy. We basically had the whole main floor redone, including the kitchen, so it was a major project. We have three small children and they were even considerate enough to supply us with a little makeshift kitchen so we didn't have to eat out the entire time, which was a lifesaver. We never asked them to do this, Justin and Mitch just took the initiative. They were open throughout the process and always kept us informed about what was going on. Wendy, the receptionist, is so sweet and personable. I used to be embarrassed by our kitchen, now it is my favorite place in the whole house. Mitch really listened to what we wanted during planning and designed an area that works so well for our family. I guess the best compliment I could give though is that even though home renovations are a pain, they are such good people that I miss them being around! Nice people work here! I would recommend this company hands down.
