Really a great campsite in a prime location, as you can see over the fact that many pitches have sand as a base.
But if, like us, the camping chairs, shoes and tent poles are taken away from you while you go swimming, then Hirt has fun, especially with the partly unfriendly and dishonest service (The campsite said he had asked us if it was our stuff and we would have said no, we were on the beach ...)
Then the sanitary facilities in the youth area, which are left to themselves (Vollgekotzte toilets without toilet seat and vollgekackte showers with razor blades and the like) and the exaggeratedly high prices.
Next time we will go somewhere else!

Great location directly behind the dunes.
Very quite and clean place.
But also good for kids and family's if you prefer a spot beside your own sandbox or trampoline.
We had a relaxing one with a hammock.
Everything you need is there: restaurant, grocery store, playgrounds, clean showers and toilets,... And also two simple but really nice saunas!

If You have been in busy Amsterdam, this is a great place to relax.

The campsite is beautifully located directly on the sea and is also very close to Amsterdam and Haarlem. On the main part of the campsite is nothing to complain about ...

... But camping in the youth compartment of the course is really not nice.
Already on the first evening we were surprised by the fact that our chairs, a pair of shoes and two tent poles were stolen by the camping attendant. After many complaints he fished the chairs out of the trash and after even more complaints we were refunded our shoes. The uncooperative behavior and the intentional lies of the camping attendant made the otherwise competent service the front desk but a veritable odyssey.

The sanitary facilities in the youth compartment were anything but what they promised us on the website. That the shower for the young people is not so nice, as in the family part, is ok, but that in the moldy showers are feces and the toilets are puked without toilet paper and toilet seat and that is not even cleaned is unacceptable.

On the positive side is only the rest of the campsite. The restaurant has very humane prices and a good deal. The supermarket has hot rolls and everything else you need.

The bad impression remains. Next time, if that is the case, we will insist on getting a normal campsite outside the youth compartment. I also advise all other young people, the non-escalating parties and loud music from 7 o'clock in the morning to 3 o'clock in the night, but for a relaxing beach holiday to De Lakens come.

Great campsite and good atmosphere. Right on the sea, great beach. For smaller purchases you have a saving on the court. It is a pity, that in the area from 21 o'clock no food gets more. The sanitary facilities on the youth campsite are a disaster. In the 4 days we were there, they were cleaned only once and looked accordingly. Therefore, the other sanitary facilities used, the better the equipment and cleanliness.

A fantastic campsite, great location, well equipped, very clean, warm sanitary facilities. We will definitely be back.

Great camping place in the middle of the dunes and very close to the sea. There is a restaurant and a supermarket. You could also order the place well but it is required prepayment.

The location of the campsite and surroundings is great. The sanitary facilities are pretty old and cleanliness is not exactly optimal.
Fortunately, we were traveling with the camper.

Best beach campsite in Bloemendaal with restaurant, cabins and rental tents and of course places for your own tent or caravan. Quite pricey!

Super campsite to unwind. You can do everything barefoot. You get a newspaper every morning. A sauna is available. The showers look good. Good washing facilities. Beach within walking distance. Walking routes through the nature reserve. There is even a camping fox around.

Relatively expensive campsite with good facilities. Front desk staff is not very helpful and a little arrogant. Location by the sea is very pleasant and for that reason I would like to stand there again.

Very friendly staff even with spontaneous arrival to camp. In itself the campsite is clean and beautiful ... Just like the main sanitary facilities .... but when you stand on the judendzeltplatz it looks quite different again! From morning until the middle of the night makes one after the other party .. with a peaceful relaxing holiday is unfortunately wrong on the square .. The sanitary facilities at the youth place you hardly want to use .... partly missing klobrillen and if you have any vollgesch ...... Like doors and walls !!!! Washbasin and shower are also used with great reluctance! Toilet paper was not available ...

Jip and Stevaros, the security guys helped us out in a storm, during which the ANWB failed. Top staff and top camping here for the fourth time now.

Quick trips to Zandvoort and Harlem can be made by bike or long walks along the beach. This is a maximum of 7 minutes away from the campsite.

Nice campsite in the dunes good facilities not much shade in hot summer. But nicely laid out with many varied places. Within walking distance to the sea very steep dune on the shortest way.

Very nice but also expensive and professional place. In the middle of the dunes and with tidy sanitary. The showers are included. Very nice beach, which is best reached by bike. The restaurant is very good, but not cheap. Unfortunately, the place is not for spontaneous travelers, as it is also booked out of the holiday season. We could only stay one night.

Very nice reception, even though we had arrived spontaneously with the mobile home. Everything important was and explained.
The location is a dream (in the middle of the dunes and close to the beach) and you have a lot of space on your pitch. There are many niches so that you can enjoy peace and privacy.

Usually we avoid such huge campsites. Here, however, has been designed so clever that one does not notice the size. And despite complete occupancy everything was reasonably clean. Beware of seagulls: They steal from the table if you are not careful. Great the picnic table on the pitch has fallen. Somewhat awkward I found the online booking, but the staff at the front desk super friendly. Great location right in the dunes, really great beach, access via a dune. Small supermarket and restaurant (expensive, but delicious food) on the square. Recommended.

Been during Surfana Festival. Friendly campsite. What an atmosphere !!

Very nice parking space. Very nice staff. You stand directly in the dunes. The restaurant on the square is very good. There are 2 saunas in the square which are included in the price. Sanitary buildings are very clean. The stand is only a few minutes walk.

Friendly staff, large campsite very close to the ocean. Lots of playgrounds for children, supermarket on site. Ideal for family vacations. Beware of the ocean side campground however, if you are not into youthful partying... The rest of the estate is super calm.

Great beautiful dune campsite located close to the beach. Large campsite with many varied places. We were in October a lounge area with our tent which means more privacy, a picnic bench on the spot and a newspaper in the morning. Even now the site was reasonably full so booking in high season is advisable

Great camping! We spent this weekend in the retro caravan. Well cared for!

Boldly! Rip off! A cancellation of a reservation a month before for a weekend in the summer holidays, where it is possible to re-rent the pitch without any problems costs 107 Euro! The stay would have cost 130 euros. Who deals with his visitors is in my opinion a criminal!

Great campsite with great pitches niche that give the feeling of privacy or better you are camping but at home ...... great. What is missing is a hand dryer on the toilets and a hair dryer in the shower rooms

Super nice campsite with everything you need for a great vacation. Great for families with kids, the only drawback during the holidays sometimes only blocks can be booked so we had to pay two days on which we were no longer there.

Beautiful dune campsite. Have been coming here for a few years. Very pricey.
Often full in high season.
Due to the high demand, they can also allow themselves to only allow 2 nights or more in some periods.
Nevertheless, one of the best campsites I have experienced.

No complaints whatsoever. Great, spacious parking spaces, very nice service / staff, check in unproblematic, supermarket leaves nothing to be desired. In terms of price, I like to pay more for such a great place.

Very nice campsite on the sea and connected to a great national park which is great for cycling or hiking. The place is beautifully designed and divided into sections, so the space does not seem as huge as it is. In the attached supermarket there is everything you need as a camper. We will definitely be back.

Ontzettend mooie en leuke camping! We hebben zelf in een seashack geslapen, echt een aanrader! Heel gezellig en lekkere bedden. Helaas deed de tv het bij ons niet en was er nauwelijks Wi-Fi, verder niks op aan te merken.

Nice campsite. For those who want to have their rest just as for those who want to party. My recommendation is a dungeon and sand herrings.

One of the nicest campsites I have ever come across. Nice in design, plenty to do, plenty of choice, plenty of entertainment and you name it. Also a stone's throw from the coast. For me, the ideal campsite.

Pure nature, the campsite is in a dune landscape, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff.
Cleanliness is very good, if it is a bit dirty it is up to the users themselves (not everyone thinks of their fellow human beings),

Covid-19 limited everything a bit, but it was a great vacation.

Super bad service!!! We had explicitly arranged for a late check-in (after reception closes). Once we were there, the instructions to get access to the gate did not work at all and it took a very long while (>40 mins) for the night guard to open it. After mentioning this at reception the following day, we were not given any compensation whatsoever - even after explaining this to different service assistants. The camp ground is nice but the service mentality seems very poor (keep in mind that it s definitely not cheap to stay here and that one would expect customer satisfaction to be of higher priority). After these discussions I was told that it would be normal to have long waiting times at check-in and that I simply wouldn t need to come back if I didn t like that. Shocking!

Very relaxed and cozy atmosphere really a place to entertain or unwind

Beautifully located campsite with fantastic pitches. Everything was very well maintained and clean, absolute recommendation. Pure nature! Some pitches are strong in the wind, best inform in advance!

But we still have two points of criticism:

The place does not quite hold what the website promises. The toilet and wash houses are all getting neat in the years. Very clean, you have to say, and you have tried with new Antsrichen, etc., the best rauszuholen. But as I said, what the place costs per night and how it presents itself online, we expected more here. The sauna was nice, but rather an improvised building.

What totally disappointed us was the snack. Nice presentation and friendly staff but only disposable dishes, plastic and cans. That does not have to be, especially since snack and restaurant share the area. With the garbage mountains, which are produced there daily and unnecessarily, we were really bad. When it is full, it will eventually become "grubby", as the tables and leftovers are left to themselves. Quality of the food was absolutely fine!

For a star deduction, otherwise a great place in a sesational location!

Nice campsite in the dunes, unfortunately little shade and the playgrounds are mostly made of iron so very hot. Sanitary fine and clean and within walking distance of the beach. Too bad that late check out depends on possible bookings. Because of this we had to leave early.

Enjoy camping by the sea. You will be on the beach in about ten minutes.
Fairly spacious place for our 6p De Waard tent. Other campers come with caravan, camper and tunnel tent.

Again getting used to for us (Vlieland campers) to the motorized traffic around the tent. After 10 p.m. a barrier for the camping sites closes, at 8 p.m. it opens again.

Different nationalities, calm and friendly atmosphere. The youth camp is isolated from the campsite, so no inconvenience.
Sanitary is clean and new and there is toilet paper.

For the children in high season a daily program, from DJ workshop to open-air cinema. Nice spacious playground. No plastic.
