Clean campsite with individual parking spaces and a tent. There are showers with hot and cold water, clean toilets. To the sea through the dunes of minutes 7. After 10 pm close the barrier and the movement by car is not real, the main thing is not to be late. to the center of Zandvoort by car 5 minutes, there are shops.

The campsite operator Camping de Lakens - Bloemendaal has obviously not heard anything from customer service! Due to the Corona crisis and travel warning in Germany and the Netherlands, we wanted to rebook our planned trip from the beginning of May to the beginning of June!

The "Don't be possible"! Generally it would not be possible to simply "exchange something for free".

You now ask us to pay 75% of the amount and then to book again for June! The ruble is rolling!

That is a bottomless cheek of this large and actually so good campsite.

We are very disappointed and would like to advise against booking this campsite!

See beautiful campsite.

See beautiful campsite.
We rented a 4 person tent.
Everything was clean and tidy.

Great:
-Clean toilets and showers.
-Nice personel
-Beach close

Not so great:
- Do not grill yourself in general
-No possibility to have breakfast in the morning
- Airplane noise can be expected during the day

really a top campsite, located in the dunes where there is much to experience. a diversity of camping opportunity. from animation to surfcamp restaurant, own supermarket on site, bicycle rental, laundry room, super cool play areas for the kids !! sanitary showers well maintained good cleaning, often parking place at place of stay.with a small camping walk and climb over the dune you stand on the beach with on your left ample choice of popular beach tents and a walk of about half an hour along the boulevard, or beach you stand in Zandvoort. Do you want to relax on the right, it is generally nice and quiet for the silent enjoyers. For the smart guys, what's right and what's left? Nose to the sea! I think this is a must for everyone. So be sure to check the site of the campsite for the sheets and their overvieuw video of the campsite. It will surprise you. Also suitable for no camping enthusiasts !!

Beautifully situated but small places and great prices. Supermarket is large but expensive. 75% of the visitors are German. At the beach tent they first start in English and then happily shouted 'oh Dutch'.

The campsite is beautiful and has a nice set up. Nice accommodations and guests (very mixed) and right next to the beach (10 min walk) and nature reserve. However, there is a lot of noise nuisance at the weekend with the race track next door. That starts at 8:30 am. So check carefully if there is an event at the Zandvoort circuit. You also have no rest in the evening because of the loud music in the beach bars until 0: 00-1: 00. You can hear them well up to the campsite.
The free open wifi on the campsite does not work at all. Also not at other places on the campsite. He keeps popping you out or keeps buffering. Unfortunately, its location in the dunes is such that its own 4G network also has poor coverage. You will have to do without internet or you pay for premium WiFi to surf on social media and possibly. be able to stream. The kitchen utensils in our accommodation were not complete, power strip was broken. This is very neatly and quickly resolved at the reception. However, we had two other points on which we had officially complained. The reaction was simply sorry to hear . No solution or compensation. Unfortunately, complaints are not taken seriously. And that for the expensive prices you pay. The campsite does fill up anyway and prices keep on rising. Very a shame.

Highly recommended campsite. very clean, close to the beach, close to the race track, nice people at the reception. own supermarket on the square, children's playground and entertainment.
All-round great space for big and small.

Me and girlfriends had booked and paid for a place and called back a few days later with "there was no more room". Zero emotion and respect to find a solution together. Would never spend my money on such a tent with such poor service. It is really ridiculous how we dealt with it.

Very nice campground. Been coming there for 5 years now and there are still surprises waiting for me! Every year something new and nice close to the beach. You can also walk. The only downside (not really a problem) that the sanitation work but the showers for example, low water pressure and the toilet's main palace Soestdijk are more moths or other insects. That is the only negative the rest is positive

Plus points: A great campsite, but only for certain places (peripheral areas).
Clean sauna. Clean sanitary facilities. Nice service team. Local recreation and lots of free time opportunities. Prices okay for camping including electricity, drinking water and showers. :-)
Excursion tip: From Zandfoort take the Sprinter (train) to Harlem about 15 minutes. Or continue straight to Amsterdam for another 15 minutes. Worth it. A sprinter drives every 30 minutes.

Cons: The restaurant Gestrand offers tasteless and overpriced pizza. It can't be that difficult to make a pizza! Better to avoid the restaurant.
Tip: Go out to eat at Proeflokaal Bregje Bloemendaal aan Zee.

The Spar supermarket uses the unique selling proposition (so prices are expensive).
Tip: go shopping at Dirk van der Broek in the village of Zandfoort. Or bring something with you when you arrive.

Short campers watch out: Young party people at: ZELTPLATZ FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (COASTPITCH). Fun fair character. But if you like it, get into the fray.

One of the most beautiful campsites in Europe. Right in the dunes and the sea. Ideal for kids. There is a large playground that makes every child's heart beat faster. There are also several small playgrounds throughout the area. The campsite has a free sauna. There are also special "playgrounds" for families with a trampoline or sandpit in the autohound zone.

To the sea you have to climb only the dune ... Until Zandvoort or Haarlem it is by bike max 20min ... A wildlife park with free living buffalo borders directly to the campsite. Ideal for small tours with or without bike ...

Truly one of the most beautiful campsites in Europe.

You won't find a better camping ground. It's beautiful, clean and family friendly. It's located between the dunes next to the sea and a nature reserve. Very professional and competent staff. The showers are free and and the bathhouses are well maintained. We'll definetly come back!

Very nice campsite on the sand - you feel like right on the beach, even if you have to walk a bit there. There is a sauna on the campsite, which is inclusive. Sanitary facilities were ok. There is a supermarket on the premises that has a large selection of items that you need especially for camping. There is also a restaurant next to the supermarket. The choice between different rental properties (small houses or backpack hacks etc) or camping also provide enough choice for everyone. We were very happy with our stay and would like to come back.

The campsite itself was very nice and very big. There is also a supermarket with affordable prices and the all-round atmosphere was very good. In addition, the city center was 5 minutes away by car and the beach was also only a 10-minute walk away (you have to walk over a large mountain to get there, so it might take a little longer, but it's definitely worth it! ).

BUT
The sanitary facilities were dirty and not well maintained. The staff was sometimes very unfriendly and when we arrived at the campsite, our places reserved 3 months in advance (for which we even had to pay more so that we could have 2 next to each other) were already occupied by others. We were told that it would be perfectly normal to just take a seat here and that no one really takes the others into consideration. So we squeezed into corners with 12 people. The people who rented this place were of course angry about it, because they were there with 20 people. So over 30 people had to squeeze together just because the regulars just take a seat there and have no queues. Nobody thought that at some point it would turn into a devil's cycle.
I would also like to add that we were in the youth place. I don't know if that is the case at the normal campsite, but you should perhaps keep that in mind if you want to go to the "party place".

We have been going to zaandvort for years and have now discovered this abseitz section in Blomendal just before zaandvort.
Since we have family growth with our dog you have to choose suitable places. We were very satisfied. We did not visit the campsite ourselves. But for a short stay this is very sufficient at first sight located between the dunes.
When we were eating we ate a lot because we had to wait a long time because they accidentally brought our food to another table. Since we are very patient we drank accordingly and even get every 1 drink for compensation on the house. But our food came very quickly after we asked for. Therefore, the waiting time was so tragic net especially one was very nice and the nice girls have apologized a few times

Despite the fact that it is a fairly large campsite, we have booked a nice quiet spot in a dune spot.
Wonderfully quiet with beautiful nature around you and good sanitary facilities.
And a friendly welcome at the reception, which gives the holiday feeling

Very nice place, very clean, best sanitary facilities, electricity at every place, water very close to the square, with supermarket on the square Restaurant, close to the beach, with live music / events. Many young families, Dutch and German, Wi-Fi on the whole place, large area, nice staff, not so cheap! For us with a young child but still great!

THE campsite just outside Zandvoorts.

THE campsite just outside Zandvoorts.
Lots of clean bath houses, very extensive grounds, many playgrounds, a supermarket with fair prices, bicycle service on site (saved us since we had plates) new hose plus installation 10 is great. With the bikes you are in 15 minutes in the center of Zandvoort, from there by train in 30 minutes in Amsterdam. The course is clearly designed for families and offers top comfort that you will not find in the surrounding squares.
Absolutely recommendable !!!

First of all: We paid the equivalent of 63.00 per day in advance for our parking space 501 (privet Duinspot) including booking fee and tourist tax. Summer, high season, with full occupancy.

Well, I also understood the principle of supply and demand, and if you want to camp on such a great pitch in the middle of a nature reserve with excellent connections, you have to pay this price .....

However, I can also expect clean sanitary facilities at this price level. Nothing !!!

The place currently has a corona policy. Unfortunately, this does not really work with full occupancy. Everyone does what they want and there is no one who would do it.
The reception is staffed with a strong and friendly staff, the supermarket is fairly sorted, the restaurant has a lot of staff and a high price-performance level, the animation team seems to consist of 6-10 people ... but in one week I didn't see any cleaning staff.
The distances are mostly quite long, sanitary facilities or washing up and disposing of waste are done by bike.

The playground is a dream for the kids.
Footpaths to the beach are more difficult than you think.

Conclusion: The pitches in the privet area are uniquely beautiful and can hardly be found in this form anywhere else. However, I found the service and especially the unacceptable condition of the sanitary facilities to be an imposition at this high price level. Not recommended in summer with full occupancy!

We will not be back and next year someone else will definitely pay this proud price for the campsite with the special dune flair between Kenemer Duinland and Zandvoort.

Very nice campsite. Just a bit different than the campsites that are full of campers and abandoned mini golf courses. It is just a bit more luxurious with its own wellness bus and restaurant. A point of criticism; the people from the hospitality industry, with the exception of 3 catering establishments, there are mainly people with a hospitality feeling. Walking along empty plates, not taking orders and very slow. This really shows no ambition, while the kitchen is so incredibly good. Let's face it: they are the calling card of the campsite. In addition, I called to ask whether there was a broadcast of Ladies Ekvrouwen football, whereupon I got back that there was no TV. All in all: the location, camping itself and the kitchen of Gestrand is really great. Apart from the service, everything was just like a fairy tale! We will definitely be back next season.

A very nice campsite.

A very nice campsite.
Beautiful camping pitches in the dunes.
Close to the sea.
Cycling to Haarlem
All kinds of facilities.
You do not notice that it is a large site.
Also great play opportunities for children.
Will definitely come back.

The campsite is well protected in the middle of the dunes and is only a few hundred meters from the beach. Pitches are not a bargain but everything is clean and very well prepared.

The campsite is located directly on the racetrack and in the vicinity of Schiphol Airport. Both turn off and on, but it does not really bother.

Amsterdam is easily accessible by bus and train via Haarlem. Stop at the entrance of the campsite.

The environment is nice, the beach is great. The facility is medium-class, the sanitary facilities hard on the border of bearable. The prices are high. There is a savings market seven days a week.

Calm with an excess of nature.

Calm with an excess of nature.
With an endless beach and a wonderfully nostalgic old Dutch environment.
You also don't have to go far for something tasty to eat for a "few" restaurants.
A bicycle is definitely a must if you want to move around a little easier since the car over Kempen 1 can be a maze and 2 is a lot 1 towards traffic.
For the younger generation there are several brand new play areas where they can use all their energy.
