Lakens is a very nice spot but do not forget the racing club in zandvoort, the sound travels til the camping, you hear cars races the morning or later during the day. not so nice to wake up or while walking in the dunes/nature, the sound even covers the birds singing :(

Will not be back! Housed in the area for the younger people and can not recommend this. The paramedics are outdated and extremely dirty, the men's room did not even have a toilet seat ?! This was the parking space for 2 people with a Bulli very expensive! Definitely expected more ...

with the Fi-Wi it was not quite totally no reception and the TV reception was very bad. I missed the World Cup football matches because of that ..
I think that could be better, if you put an antenna on the high children's play tower, then that problem is eliminated.

Very nice campsite with a beautiful location on the sea

We drove about 400km to the campsite to spend about a week there. When we arrived there, we were told that at the age of 19 we were not allowed to camp there with our camper. We were just sent away again. There camping is tolerated only from 21 years. Absolutely outrageous !!! Then you could mention something like that on the website ...

Our pitch was located on a passageway with constant traffic and pedestrians cyclists etc., pitch: old rotten outlets, dirty taps, dirty parking space with food leftovers and garbage from the pre-emption, dirty toilets and sanitary facilities. We were disappointed by the "great campsite". Unfortunately, therefore, no recommendation.

Although the site is large, you will find it quite relaxed on your own part with many facilities.

One of the nicest campsites I know. The campsite is between the dunes and is unfortunately sometimes very uneven.

Anyone who wants more on a camping holiday than just setting up a camping chair and drinking a beer is wrong!
Unfriendly staff in all areas, on requests in no way received. Music is not tolerated in any way, not even when it's so quiet that even direct neighbors with young children say that's fine. The security claims untruths to get rid of a group is very aggressive and immediately palpable.
This campsite is recommended to anyone, never again!

The environment is just fantastic. The dunes are just beautiful. It's clean and everything you need can be found here at Camping de Lakens. We recommend the Dewaarttennt that you can rent. Before that, the hammock is my favorite place on vacation.

For the price, bad service !! 3 days no electricity, food from the fridge had to be thrown away. It could not be cooked and the drinks were not chilled. No understanding, no concession on the part of those responsible. The campsite only lives from its location, definitely not the service! For much too expensive.

Very nice campsite, right in the dunes. The pitches are in the middle of nature. Sanitary facilities are in good to very good condition and clean.
The beach can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. We were very satisfied (front desk, supermarket) and can only recommend this campsite!

The campsite benefits above all from its location in the middle of the dunes near Zandvoort. The pitches are big enough and relatively flat. You can make beautiful bike rides through the adjacent nature reserve or go to the beach. What we did not like so much were the not so clean guardhouses, which also got a bit old. Very nice is the big adventure playground below the restaurant.

Good camping, but the order has already been taken twice at the restaurant, and there is only wifi if you pay for it

The duincamping de Lakens is located on the edge of a nature reserve, embedded in the dunes you will find spacious camping plots. The sanitary facilities are okay, but the campsite is on the whole rather expensive.
There is a Spar supermarket on the campsite as well as the possibility to eat in a grill bar or restaurant.
The campsite is very suitable for children.
In addition, the campsite has direct access to the nature reserve, invites you to cycle a week with excellent cycle paths, there are many animals to see along the way, wild horses, bison and fallow deer. There are also lakes embedded in the dunes, where numerous species of birds can be observed.

Great clean campsite is relaxed in the dunes and has a good atmosphere. Staff friendly and very hard-working, even a supermarket can be found. You see, this one is maintained with love. Located on a large beautiful natural park with wild horses, Highland cattle crossing paths, especially beautiful to explore by bike. Very good starting point without car great excursions to do.

A great campsite! Everything you need is there: to wash, to take a shower, to go shopping for food ... also it is great location, right on a national park! It takes about twenty minutes to walk to Zandvoort! To the sea five minutes!
It has been received very nice and in the small pavilion (there will be no more from 2019) everything was there: stove, sink, oven, bed, TV ...

Extremely versatile camping and bungalow complex with good program and dreamlike accommodation right on the sea in the dunes. Here is a solution for every target group of campers at the start. Kitesurfers are in here anyway.

Great campsite.
The location is very beautiful, in the middle of the extensive dunes and the North Sea is not far, just a few meters on foot.
The city of Zandvoort and the Circuit Park race track can be reached quickly by bike. The city of Ijmuiden can be reached quickly by bike through the dune landscape and has a great harbor.
The complex is really very clean and well-kept, from the reception to the overnight accommodations offered, the parking spaces and sanitary facilities. The selection of overnight accommodations is very good, there are various fixed accommodations and tent camping options, there is something for everyone and everything is well thought out so that you don't get in each other's way. For example there are youth, children, relax etc. places in all sizes and variants. The relaxation areas with hammocks or the secluded ones in the dunes are great.
There is a supermarket and a spa area, both of which are a bit small.
The large children's playground and the sports facilities are worth an experience.
Generally a great place for children.
A small negative point is the online overview map for booking the seats, this is a bit confusing.

Erg leuke camping in de duinen en daarom dicht bij zee. In de omgeving is er veel te doen, plaatsen zoals Haarlem en Amsterdam zijn dichtbij.

Great campsite! Spacious compartments with electricity and water. The beach is within walking distance.
There is a supermarket with normal prices and a large playground on the premises.
Showers and hot water are included in the somewhat high price. We think the price is justified and give it 5 stars!

Unfriendly staff, loud, dirty and overpriced. Tried to make a noble camping impression, but in truth is an Asi place. 200 deposit for 4 square meter campsite and repayment after 2 weeks is more than cheeky. Never again!

Didn't like the camping at all. Like most people comment: staff is friendly at first but whenever you have complaints, they're suddenly not so forward coming. Toilets were dirty.

Superb location. Beautiful campsite. Clean sanitary facilities. Good service. With a tent, the cheapest place (against the dunes) is the best. You can easily enter the dunes from your tent. 10 minutes walk to the beach. What I only missed is a hangout for the teenagers. The, otherwise beautiful, playground is too childish for them. If they don't want to surf, there is nothing for them to do. There is a sand field where you can play beach volleyball.
The restaurant closes around 22.30 in the evening.

Very nice campsite in the northern dune of Holland. The course is perfect for children as there is a lot on offer. Dogs are not allowed here. The showers are a bit getting old but still acceptable. The checkin went smoothly and quickly. Friendly staff. I give 5 stars, but I have to complain that on our arrival (without reservation), the full amount had to be paid immediately. This does not make spontaneous departure possible. We know that differently outside the season.
Nevertheless, we like to come back.

Especially for families with small children in the playground area, with lots of playgrounds and trampolines. The sanitary facilities were always clean.
