Camp Starlight Reviews

Camp Starlight offers everything you could ever want for your children and as a parent. As a parent it was an easy choice. It is by far the most beautiful camp, well kept, and most imporatantly SAFE. The entire staff is top notch, always professional and caring to the children. David and Allison are amazing directors. They are constantly updating the programming and the facilities to make sure the kids have the absolute best experience! There is nothing that they don't think of! My daughter has had the most amazing summers. When I ask her if anything could be better or changed, she always responds quickly with "No!! Its the BEST!", and it is!

An amazing place to work for the last 3 years. I feel like I'm part of a family working at Camp Starlight. Working year around I notice first hand the attention, detail and heart put into creating an amazing 8 weeks for campers and counselors.

Favorite place on Earth. Friends and great activities are what keep me going back every year! Love it!

Our family has sent our three kids, two girls and one boy, to Camp Starlight for going on 7 years now and we are so happy with this decision. David and Allison are incredible Directors and are always available to speak or return an email. They have an amazing staff and the activities they plan for the kids is simply awesome. My wife and I would recommend Starlight to anyone considering it and you'd be in great hands!

I enjoyed being at the camp for the amount of time I was there. But the food was not as good as promised, the councilors were rude and did not respect me or my parents I've been to many camps but none of them were as bad as this camp. but the only reason I'm giving two stars is because some of the activities are fun.

Camp is the best place ever! My family has all gone there! My grandpa has worked there for 52 years and never plans on leaving. This summer will be my 5th year. Im so excited for camp

Last summer was my first summer at Camp Starlight. I worked as a bunk specialist for the upper junior girls (ages 9). Starlight gave me lifelong friends with amazing counselors from all over the world, a sense of fulfillment to be there for the girls and watch them grow, and memories that I will cherish forever. The directors, head counselors, and division leaders are wonderful people who will work with you to make sure that, not only the summer is one to remember for the kids, but for you as well. The camp is run in a very organized manner- everyday is full of fun and engaging activities for the kids. Spending summer having fun outside, surrounded by Starlight's private lake and beautiful trees was fantastic; I can't think of a better summer job!

Don't go here to work. Was not paid, was not rembersed for travel, and I was told that is was "okay" to lie to the children that camped there. I have kids, I don't lie to them... why would I lie to anyone else's??? The director himself lied to me, so expect it!
