I dearly love staying at the Edgewater! It s small, personal, warm - it s one of the only two hotels in town on the water. Beautiful views of islands and mountains on a pretty day over the water! If you re not lucky enough to have a water view room the common rooms are right on the water -ceiling to floor windows. The food at 67 restaurAnt is the best in the city in my opinion. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming . Having a little balcony & fireplace makes away from home feel not so lonely!
Beautiful rooms, wonderful view. Great overall experience
It was a great stay. Are room was we'll set up. The staff was great. The views are awesome. We will be staying again.
Rooms are outdated. But the restaurant and bar is a hidden gem in the city. Right on the water and in the summer outdoor seating
Great scenery if you pay up for the water view rooms. Bathrooms and main room are fairly updated and modern. Restaurant is also really good, but experienced very slow service multiple times.
Love this hotel right on the water in Elliot Bay. Amazing water or city views-I recommend the water view rooms. Nothing better than laying in bed, fireplace on and watching the waves lap against your balcony. Great location for seeing all the Seattle city sights and attractions. For fun request a record player for your room-I listened to a Hard Days Nights for the weekend. Spent Saturday night on the water for a cruise.
We definitely got the waterside room with the view of My. Rainier. The train whistle is soft and completely gone when we shut our window. But with our fireplace it was so cozy!! I can't believe our luck that the cleaning lady was cleaning the Beatles Suite and we got a peek! Was a little under the weather so I got a late check out until my hubby could finish his business trip and pick me up! Such hospitality! (Also when I reserved the room it was supposed to have a clawfoot tub, and the room did not have one, so they immediately got us one that did! I couldn't have asked for more hospitality... it made our Valentine's Day trip even more fabulous!!
View is great. Parking near hotel is minimal but valet is expensive for very average service. Room service food was good. Bathrooms are a nice bonus.
Short and Simple. Got the partial water/city view from the 3rd floor, absolutely loved it. Staff were amazing, very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Unless you want to use valet parking, there is a parking garage right across the street, only paid $22 for about 12+ hours. Highly recommend!
Way too expensive. Excellent view and food. Love the interior design.
One of my favorite places in Seattle! Beautiful view, great service and food is ok.
Waste if time, price a bit high, room was terrible, valet staff excellent, would not stay again
Very good food in the restaurant and a very nice hotel inside and out.
Must I say WOW! I decided to take my wife here for our wedding anniversary and the views were worth it. The rooms were a little small however nothing beats to waking up with a magnificent view and none of our children. The staff was friendly. I will be referring any of my in laws that come to visit us for them to stay here!
A wonderful and luxurious place to stay. The lounge and restaurant at the location is a nice place to relax and have fun. We will definitely be back.
Incredible location! Amazing lounge with great appy specials and even better sunset views. The building is a bit old and soundproofing is a little poor, but the charm of this hotel and attention to detail everywhere really makes up for it. High class valets and staff... they make you feel special here. Highly recommended!
Great atmosphere. Loved the fireplace and the view over the water.
Great view from our hotel room. Restaurant is very good but very expensive
Stay there and tried the restaurant. Very nice location and service was excellent. Great experience. Nice place for visitors!
My husband and stayed here 10 years ago, and I am pleased to read that it is still amazing! We stayed in a waterfront room with a vintage claw foot tub. Of course the room rates are quite a bit higher now, but If it is in your budget, I highly recommend The Edgewater. If I recall correctly, there are many shops, restaurants, and places to see within walking distance.
This hotel is beautifully appointed but totally impractical. Bathroom door does not close and is not remotely soundproof; there is no full length mirror (if you're a woman who likes shoes and needs to see her feet) ; cost for our " junior suite" for 4 nights was $1839 plus a $25 a day resort fee. I would recommend having breakfast there or having a drink at the bar. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE!!!
I think when all was said and done it was about $500 for the night (granted it was July, I think peak season?) and although the experience was good overall it was tough to say the value was more than 3/5 stars for $500 a night. However solid location and the staff was very friendly and accommodating (I found everyone in Seattle to be that way). I don t think we ate anything there so not sure about restaurant situation but the room was pretty cool with it s amazing water view.
A very crowded bar. Ok music and lots of loud talking and noise. Salads are good. View always beautiful on a sunny day. Better to go earlier in the day instead of late afternoon. Service was hectic. Would prefer a laid back atmosphere, just too hectic.
The dinner was delicious and the waterfront location was magical. One of the highlights of the evening.
Can't beat the views! One of the best places for happy hour in town. Plus valet is reasonably priced when you're eating in the restaurant!
When we arrived we found that the mini fridge was duct taped and there was dust behind everything and on the sprinklers as well.
Restaurant 6 7 has super good food and great service. I highly recommend it although it's on the expensive side.
Im not sure if the young lady behind the desk was upset with her job, but she was not happy and let us know. She commented that our room was in the noise zone I asked what that meant and she said that area is right over the bar I said well we paid four hundred and twenty five dollars is it possible to get a room that isn't in the noise zone she said there is another one but its in the noise zone but not the same type of room, but better located. This was our anniversary night and I asked her if she would mind if we took a look at the room before we committed to a room that wasn't the same caliber of what we ordered. That took a half hour. After reminding her 3 times between guest checking in my husband and I asked the Gentleman also working if he could show us the room, he agreed and was very friendly, he apologize to us for the long wait and told us that if he could upgrade us and make it right he would. He is why we stayed and didn't leave.
The Edgewater hotel is now my favorite place to stay in Seattle. It is beautiful.. the staff are super friendly and our room was wonderful. Love the bed.. very comfortable...great location...
Attended for a wedding. Enjoyed did and level of service.
There was training in Bell Harbor, and Marriott and Edgewater were company recommended hotels. Both hotel class is the same with 4 stars, but since word of mouth was better, I stayed here. Although it is a four-story building and the entrance is small overall, I loved it because it has a warm atmosphere like a stylish cafe and dining room with a fireplace in the lobby. The room was not on the sea side but on the track side (it only passes occasionally because it is for freight), but it was good that the feeling of consideration was felt, such as the card with the pattern of the train attached with the earplugs.
Seriously loved staying here. First time trip to the Washington area. Got to our room and fell in love. Gorgeous waterfront room with a huge bed and modern bathroom. Slept with door cracked and the fireplace going on a cold rainy winter night. The bar had a great atmosphere, with friendly service and amazing drinks and dessert. I wish we could have stayed longer than 16 hours, but the price was so worth it that I will come back again and again. I slept so well and so did my hubby who has a horrible time sleeping anywhere, but we were both out like a light. Maybe next time I'll upgrade to the suite with a claw foot tub. I could go on and on, but I wont. Just wish parking was a little cheaper, but hey, whatever.
Great spot located on top of everything you would wanna do in Seattle. Reasonable pricing and great staff.
Beautiful location, Trendy decor and romantic setting. I'll be back!
dinner at six seven was great! The seafood rossioto had more seafood than rice. Service was great. The key lime pie was the perfecting ending to a great meal.
We came to the Edgewater for a family birthday party and ended up staying the night. The hotel was beautiful and had a stunning view but little things showed through as signs of wear, a little bit of fraying in the carpet, paint chipping, etc. Overall an amazing time.
This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The food in their restaurant is delicious. Their staff is amazing. Victoria at the front desk bent over backwards to accommodate our wishes. Jesse our bellman was wonderful. The manage was a sweetheart. A really great stay. Thank you so much!
Friendly staff, nice decor to match the environment. Lobby felt inviting and relaxing.
Very beautiful and wonderful place. The only issue we had was waiting at least 1 hour for at least (3) trains to pass and not being familiar with area to find an alternate way to get across without missing our dinner reservations at the hotel. We had a wonderful stay
Very nice place on Seattle Bay. Not given but impeccable service.
We stayed in one of the water side rooms, woke up to spectacular views, breakfast on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Well worth it!!
We got a nice cozy room with a wonderful view. We stayed for 2 days while our home is being repaired.
Called multiple times to get a reservation. Each time I was transferred to another department where no one answered the phone.
Love everything about this hotel! It's not huge so that you feel overwhelmed but it's not small either! It's got a modern, PNW feel and the food is amazing!
Location is great.stafe friendly and helpful. Joel the hotel manager was very professional and helpful that's why we recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Seattle
The rooms are fabulous to stay in. I would come back and stay here next time I visit.
Love the Lodge and the restaurant, the view, the atmosphere. Food used to be superb, but over the past few years there were significant ups and downs. Last time: food - 4, service - 3 out of 5, overall experience is still 5!
I always have had good memories here. Loved working here
Nice hotel located on the waterfront. Lovely view, hotel restaurant is delicious. Gym is a bit small with not enough machines. Gets crowded early.
Amazing location, make sure to get waterfront or it won't be the same! Fees add up to a lot more than room price so be prepared $$$$
This is a real classy kinda joint. One, that if you could still smoke in a Seattle establishment, you'd be wearing an all Italian blue pin stripped Suit, or an elegant dinner dress. You'd light a cigar, a whiskey or a glass wine in the dimly lit waterfront bar before retiring to your room, that if one of the lucky or affluent types, would feel more like a suite on a luxury cruise, seaside balcony and all. The staff is, as to be expected, overly formal and a bit stuffy, but they don't judge. It is romantic and msfia at the same time. It's an, world class retreat in the thickest part of the city. It's on the edge
Love the rooms here! Each one has a fireplace.....and a teddy bear
Had lunch at the restaurant. The Royale with cheese was great. Very nice atmosphere.
Really a nice place to calm down and relax. I love the "Happy Hour":cold drinks & small delights are served by friendly waiters in a pleasant athmosphere .
One of the best hotels in Seattle. period ! Classic place with fantastic views and service. Great staff! Great Management
Went to their Happy Hour for a change of pace I probably will not be back!!! The waitress did not want to take orders and was surly and snippy. The food was O.K. however there are so many other places in Seattle that are better. For an upscale hotel you would think the staff would be well trained and well mannered. She also looked like she forgot her pants her silly dress was so short definitely not professional.
Keeping cool in Seattle is exactly why I visited from Las Vegas. It is on the water and rooms facing the Puget Sound are awesome. I was able to view ships passing by and watch them while in the tub from the bathroom. They had a small fireplace in my room as well. The only downsides are that it is close to train tracks and the floors creek some when walking to and from the room.
The room was quiet and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and good quality. The room was nicely furnished. The service was efficient and friendly. The fitness room is open 24 hours and I was able to use it at 10pm and have it to myself.
Beautiful place right on the water. Old charming hotel, we were there for wedding reception, views and food was spectacular
For the best experience, I definitely recommended upgrading to a waterfront room!
This was the third wedding I've attended here. It was beautiful as usual and the food was good for a buffet. Cocktail hour had a bottleneck for food by the door so that was expected. My boyfriend was unceremoniously cut off by an overzealous bartender who thought he took a shot (which was not allowed) but he had been sipping whiskey for about 15 minutes with a group of friends who told her as much. She refused to believe anyone and told the other bartender to not serve him anymore also. He's not a heavy drinker and was not even drunk. She was just power tripping and it was not appreciated.
It's a nice hotel, but they don't really seem to appreciate non hotel guests dropping in for coffee and drinks. Wasn't made to welcome. Views are great.
