Haven't been skiing in years (20) to be exact. This was a great place to start again. It was packed for a saturday in February. For not having any snow the slopes were covered nicely in man-made snow. Though there were many patches of ice which for a novice skier made me nervous they were very visible and easily avoidable. I most certainly will be returning soon. Hoping we have a few snow days into March to help.

It was fairly crowded when we were there on Saturday, but no more than was to be expected. Most of the slopes were open, and the lift lines moved quickly. We had a great day, and there was something for everyone in our group, with a wide range of skill levels.

Nice but prefer blue mountain. Also, a friend suffered shoulder dislocation but the staff took too long to get him to first aid area and also no OTC pain killers to offer. While writhing in pain, was made to complete an injury report which took over 30 minutes and almost completely dumb questions.

Was so looking forward to a good day today. We were extremely disappointed - awful customer experience. It was mobbed and 75% of the mountain was closed even though there was a foot and a half of snow last week. The lift lines were 30 min plus and the runs were extremely dangerous with the volume of skiers and snowboarders. Still paid 100+ for a lift ticket x 4 and left after 2 runs. Why not prepare overnight for an absolutely packed mountain?? Going to Blue from now on.

If anyone is searching for good deals for hotels and resorts visit . booked a hotel on there and they had the absolute best prices just about anywhere!

This place is Amazing!! Fun experience, nice hotel, with additional activities close by, like zip line, mountain coaster and another water park. Shopping outlet close by...This is a great place for family, kids, and a couple. I will be returning.

For the hour we spent there it seemed like we were going to have a great time. We traveled so far; we arrived around 4:45. We enjoyed the lazy river one time before everyone got the boot and had to evacuate because of lighting in the area and bad weather arriving. Who knew we were gonna get bad weather? We definitely didn t. So we figured we could go to the office and get a pass to get in another day or our money back. The customer service and the crew in the office had such terrible attitudes. When I was just cooperating and being nice, and all I wanted was a free pass or a refund. While everyone was arguing the office started packing up with people with the same situation. The front desk people handled the situation terribly and had poor attitudes. The place went from great to absolutely unprofessional and terrible, and we were limited to the things we could do there knowing my girlfriend is pregnant, & they were telling us she can go on the slides & stuff when we all know that s what you shouldn t do if your pregnant. All I wanted was to speak to a manager & unfortunately their wasn t one there at the time. Just a terrible first time experience all around :(

My first time skiing and while the resort was great. The lessons I "reserved" were still on a first come first serve basis. So if you want lessons go well before the first scheduled lesson!

Cool

Lines were a little long but expected on a Friday night

I am a big fan of this mountain. The expert runs are a nice challenge. There are enough chair lifts, so the lift lines aren't crazy and the staff is great. Been skiing since I was a kid. I highly recommend this mountain.

Long lines so get there in advance if you're taking a class. We took a beginner class and went to practice after but the bunny slope was insanely crowded and made us uncomfortable. If you're a new snow boarder/skier try to go when it's not busy

Terrible place, very big disappointment for us! We drove two hours from our cabin to this resort only to find uncaring instrustors and defected rentals. My instructor did not care about a thing. The whole mountain was so crowded that beginner groups had to practice across each other and you can 8magine what a mess this is with somebody falling and causing others to fall. In one of these failings because of someone else blocking my way, my ski binding didn't catch and adjusted properly. My instructor did not care and I was left struggling with it for the rest of the class. Despite this, they denied to reimburse me for the class and only wanted to put me in another crowded class. Save your money and time and stay away from this rip off!

Certain aspects of customer service are terrible. I came here a surprise trip with my girlfriend and another couple. The three of them are beginners but I have been snowboarding for about 18 years now and been to a lot of places in the area. The people working the window where you buy your lift pass ect. could care less about helping you or answering any questions. I am familiar with the process so it was not difficult for me to purchase exactly what I wanted (all day lift pass for me and a lift pass rental lesson for my girlfriend. The other couple did not have such luck. They believed they were buying 2 lift passes, 2 lessons, and 2 rentals and scheduled their lesson for 1pm (plenty of time to get their rentals and meet for the lesson). When they went into the rental area they realized they were not given 2 lessons but only 1. They had to return to the line to purchase the lesson and this pushed them back to a point where they would not have been able to make 1pm. So the three of them (the other couple and my girlfriend) went to change their lesson time to 3pm. When they tried to do this they were accused of taking too long and that their passes were purchased at 12:15 which is plenty of time to make a lesson at 1pm. They were treated very poorly for having to change their time which was at no fault of their own. Then try to get a locker in this place. I understand it was busy being a holiday weekend but having never been to this mountain I figured the locker system worked like every single other one I had been to. Wrong. You have to wait in the ticketing line to get a locker key. So there I am waiting in line again for a locker key. I wait in the smaller line that is for lockers and pre-reserved packages only. There are three windows open when I get into line, about 4 groups ahead of me, and as I am waiting another 2-3 groups get in behind me. After the person at the middle window helps 1 guest they decide to close that window, ok maybe it was time for break or something. So now there are two windows open. At the far window there is a kid (I would say no younger than 17 no older than 20) talking on his cell phone like he is waiting for someone, that's fine, then about 10 minutes pass as he is leaned on the counter texting presumably his group that he is waiting for. It is ridiculous that he was not asked to step aside so other guests could be helped. I walked over to that window and just asked "am I able to get a locker key from you?" the woman's reply was short and rude saying "excuse me sir but I am helping him." I am getting angry at this point as I have spent over $200 and it s been nearly an hour and I have not even taken my first run yet. Finally I get my locker key and get my stuff in there and being my day or riding. Our experience from there on was fine and the only reason I am giving this place a 2 star was other staff was very nice. The lift operators at a lot of places understandably are pretty dull as they have a very repetitive job, but here every opportunity they had to say hi or start a small conversation they did. They lesson instructors that I had interaction with were all very nice and super helpful (the other three we were with said they were great). I just never fully felt welcome on this mountain as I have on others. They have two different security teams, seems like one is on the ground at the lodge area and one is on the mountain. These people can apparently hand out fines for certain infractions. I even saw a girl getting arrested. This is by no means the best mountain in the world let alone in the area. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Best skiing within 2 hours of NYC. Usually less crowded than the Catskills (Hunter in particular), but the weekends still get pretty crazy. Personally I'd rather spend more time skiing and less time driving.
