I ended up getting a great deal with a brand new car. It definitely could have been a bit more organized, but considering everything that is is going on right now it is understandable. Troy helped find me the best car for the price I can afford with Garrett making it a great experience. Proud to be a Hyundai car owner.

Had to have my car towed here because for no apparent reason it would not start. Hyundai was closed at the time so I just left a note inside my car with instructions on where they could find the key as well as my phone number and the details about what was going on with the car.

The next morning I received a call informing me of what was wrong and what needed to be done and a couple hours later my car was running again like new! I can always trust that Hyundai will get the job done quickly and accurately and thank goodness for extended warranties!

If I could give them less then one star I would. They toyed withe and my money weeks after I had signed and drove off with the car. They demanded it back and told me I could get a cosigner or leave. I decided to get my old car back but they couldn't find it. By this time it was 930pm and I had to get home, I told the manager that I will be back in the morning to get my old car back. All night and all morning I get phone call saying their calling the police and charging me with grand theft auto. I was in Tucson at a large customer site and had to leave costing me that sale. They were treating me even though in my contract it stated I had 24 hours to find a back that would finance me if they couldn't. I drove there with my dad and when I got there they told me they worked something out where I can keep the car and they lowered my payments. They did that by taking off my gap insurance and service agreement. After all they put me through they expected me to resign a contract with them. I told them I wanted my old car and my deposit back and he was guilt tripping me saying that he pulled so many strings and put in so much work.... Blah blah blah. I. Didn't care. I took my car and went to Earnhardt Ford and got a way better car for a better price all In 4 hours with no hassle and for 200 cheaper a month. Never buy a car from these crooks! They will rip you off.

This team deserves every one of these stars. In my search for a very specific Hyundai Tucson, they not only helped me find a matching vehicle but offered incredible service in assessing my trade-in and getting me out the door in my new car within two and a half hours. I normally dread car shopping and cannot say enough about the level of service from Service Manager, Troy and Finance Manager, Daniel. Thank you all for a world-class experience! You exceeded my expectations. I love my new car!

I just recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership, I first started out at a Toyota dealership in Scottsdale, had a bad experience there. My husband found out about the USAA buying program. Camelback Hyundai does not participate in it, but they matched it and exceeded the discount. Tanya was my saleswoman, she was very nice, Mike I believe was the sales manager, he was great also. He made the deal happen. They found EXACTLY what I wanted. MIKE made us an offer we could not refuse. Glenn in Finance was awesome as well. They are under all new management, EVERYONE I dealt with was very professional. I had a wonderful experience. it was not stressful at all. Their customer service was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. They are centrally located and their prices are very fair.

I had a 10:00 appointment and my car did not get in for over 20 minutes after I got there because of the backup. If the dealer is so busy they should maybe not schedule the autos to close or take the autos that have appointments over the ones that just come in.

Truly the WORST car buying experience of my life. ...

Truly the WORST car buying experience of my life. The salespeople are inexperienced and inappropriate (sleazily asked if me and my daughter were sisters - really??). The pre-owned car we came in to see took ages to be located, then we were told it was sold, so they tried to sell us a new car, $10K over budget, promising they could make us a "great deal". When we told them we were not interested, the original car was miraculously found.....but then we were told it was in the shop getting paintwork done......so we gave up, never even seeing it.

Second visit was no better. Test drove a car we had seen online, only to find over $4K of "extras". $700 to pay for certification even though the car was advertized as already certified!! It was like talking to a brick wall trying to make them see their online advert was a lie- he tried comparing it to buying a burger at McDonalds -I still have NO idea what he was talking about. $1600 optional extras for tints/paint etc which we didn't want and they wouldn't remove. Steadfastly refused to negotiate price. Kept telling us they were already losing money on the sale. Salesperson was rude, asking us why we came in to test drive a car we couldn't afford. Tried telling them we could afford the advertized price of $12500, but not the ridiculous add ons. The deputy manager was very unhelpful, would not work with us one bit, would not admit their advertizing was totally misleading- unpleasant, and INCREDIBLY frustrating to even talk to. Told us we obviously didn't understand the car buying process. We do!!

Please avoid this place at all costs. 4 hours of my life I will never get back! Go to Carvana instead - bought a car from them without having to deal with a single salesperson.

We made it abundantly clear to them we didn t want to buy any cars today. We told them we have a trade in but we don t have it with us today. They were very nice and polite at first and then as soon as we refused to test drive any cars the good costumer service turned into terrible customer service and they were very rude. Will definitely be getting a new car but not from this dealership!

The best car buying experience ever! No hassle, stress free and from the time I walked out to the time I left, didn't even spend half a day there. These guys know their stuff. They know how to put you in a car, regardless of your credit! They don't stick you with a high interest rate either .They actually brought my interest rate down so I walked out of there with a fully loaded 2018 Hyundai Sonata and a lower payment!!!!! I'm a customer for life !!!!! If I could rate them 10 stars, I would! I absolutely recommend them if you are shopping for a car without all of the headaches that seem to be associated with that. You will not be disappointed!!!!

He was a smug, condescending and cocky! Don t do business with this company when they hire and keep employees with this attitude! I m disgusted! No one even said sorry as we walked out the door!

Only use as your last resort, even then I'll walk. They will swindle and then sell you a lemon (READ below to find out)! I, unfortunately, found myself in a predicament needing a car and found a certified pre-owned one here that would do. I've done shopping in the past, so the experience is nothing new. These guys take it to another level! They will nickel & dime and throw curveballs and exhaust you. They have time on their side. Somehow, between the floor room deal I negotiated and signed and the deal in the back finance room, the former deal sheet "disappeared" or as the guy said, "it's not in the file where did you see that?" DO NOT let them talk you into using their third party payment option. You will sign into this "deal" which doesn't disclose any fees WHATSOEVER, but the third party will contact you in a few days with over $600, Yes HUNDRED, in fees. Ask for Hyundai Motor Finance right of the bat. They will say no, keep asking!

So once that's all said and done they deliver my vehicle. Yes, I did not get to "own" my car of the lot. No big deal, I'm not sentimental like that but some people are. The kicker!!!!! I don't know what kind of "88 point inspection" goes on there, but I think they need to reevaluate what gets inspected. The car is delivered and the salesman hands me the keys and says, "don't worry about the warning lights on the dash, I had the mechanic look and he said they'll go out." ?!?!?!?!?!?! Daytime running light was not operational nor was the parking light. Minor fixes in my opinion (UPDATE: electrical issue, bulbs work fine). I take it around the block and the brakes are chirping, consistently and loud, something the salesmen should've heard on his drive from phoenix to tempe. I return the next day to have these "Pre-Certified" items repaired. FAST FORWARD 3 weeks and still waiting to get repairs done. I'll do them myself as I DO NOT TRUST anyone there now. Go elsewhere!

Took 7 hours to buy a car and half the details weren't discussed til the very end when it was time to sign paperwork. Cars are decent prices but watch your paperwork, they tried to fudge my monthly income to get me approved for more money than I could afford. That's how you set ppl up to fail.

The car I wanted was hard to find, Alan helped me get the car and at fair price. This was a good buying experience with no pressure. I recommend this dealership. Just went in for an oil change and received OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Never before have I ever received such an extensive report on the condition of my car with recommendations. This was our first experience with our new Hyundai in that we have always had Volvo's. Service was much better than we ever experienced at any Volvo dealer.

PLEASE STOP CALLING ME this is getting point where it s harassment, the more you call the more I m going to tel erveryone how much you suck. I never rate anyone but your management is terrible human beings worse than telemarketers and collection agencies. You don t even deserve this 1. I already purchased a vehicle from a dealership that isn t pushy, Honda, and they also didn t try to add these random hidden fees like $600 for a cup holder on a used car because it is after market? Who cares it s used and that s how they brought in, also your coffee was disgusting.

One because zero is not an option! This place lies, cheats and will do anything to get you in just to take away the deal they told you over the phone. I would NEVER buy or lease a car from Camelback Hyundai in Phoenix. Especially from Alphonso the internet director and Mark S. who basically tried to push me off on a rookie sales person that pretentiously said "I'm the man". Please, PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!!!.

FYI Justin, Everyone there is a general manager, I have already been through that,
This is just an attempt to save face and flip another sale.
You make false promises to get people in there so you can hard close them and continue to do so.

We were in the market for a sonata. We agreed on a price, and were told that we could get everything done right away if we came back in. I told the salesperson that we would be there soon but we were busy and if the deal wasn't done in the next 3 hours we wouldn't be able to close and we would have to leave. He assured me that there would be no problems and that the car would be ready to go as soon as I got there. WOULDN"T YOU KNOW that as soon as we pulled in he told us that there was a problem....they didn't have the car and wouldn't be able to get it either. We said that we would just take our business elsewhere and he said, "WHAT DO YOU CARE WHAT COLOR THE CAR IS ANYWAYS? YOU ARE JUST LEASING IT AND YOU ARE GETTING RID OF IT IN THREE YEARS.....JUST TAKE WHAT WE HAVE." what an idiot.....thanks for nothing camelback hyundai.

Don't waste your time at this dealership!! The sales people and management are extremely unprofessional and are impossible to deal with. Andre, the sales manager, never once returned any of my phone calls or emails. Due to his lack of communication I would have to drive down to the dealership every time, which is a 45 minute drive, and speak with him in person. He also never followed through with any of his promises. I have now been dealing with him for over a month now just to get the 2nd key for my car! I will never go back to this dealership again!

I had nothing but an awesome experience at Camelback hyundai. I didnt feel pressured into getting anything and Carlos Beauchamp really helped me find a car that fit my needs and budget and as a bonus looked great. I got a great price, and really enjoyed the fast and easy purchase proccess. I'm currently at home loving my car and greatful I ended up at this dealership. Honestly I'd give carlos way more than 5 stars if I could he was so patient, Left with my 2018 hyundai elantra and I couldnt be happier.

I purchased a used vehicle, Nissan Altima, from this location about 3 months ago from Justin Frederick. He was Wonderful! Justin was very nice, patient, down to earth and helped find the right vehicle. One thing I loved was he wasn t high pressure and spent the time when I made the decision to purchase to explain everything. I have also called with questions after the purchase and Justin always helps.
Today I went in to the service center at the dealer ship and was helped by Paul Steenman a Service Advisor. Yet another great experience. I did make an appt ahead but Paul took the car in, checked on me as I waited and kept me up to date on the service that was being done.
I always feel when you have Excellent Service you should share with others and acknowledge them!! Kudos to both of you!!

I am very familiar with the business so I know all the "gimmicks" as one might call them. I sensed none of that with this dealership

They were very receptive to my buying style. (I know what I want, I just want a fair price)

I would not hesitate referring my friends or family to them.

My experience with Camelback Hyundai was amazing! I would say that Mike Spilotro is a dream to work with. My sales person, Loren, who is no longer there also amazing! I can tell you, they both listen and go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Mike is one of a kind and unlike the typical car sales person! I would buy from them again and have actually already sent one friend down there who has purchased a vehicle as well.

Overall I had a wonderful experience at the Camelback Hyundai dealership. I first walked in and was pleasantly greeted by, who is now my sales person, Tanya. She was extremely pleasant and and worked with me on finding the best car that was suitable for my budget. She communicated with me during the entire process and wasn't just "telling me what I wanted to hear." Tanya generally cared about me as a person and gave me several different car options to make sure I was completely satisfied.

The process itself wasn't bad at all. Yes it was time consuming; but, no more than the average "buying a new car" process would take. During my stay, the staff members welcomed me into their home by offering me food, beverages, a any assistance when needed. The manager, personally checked on me to make sure that I was successfully being helped, and that I had no issues with my sales associate. I advised him that Tanya was amazing; but, but I would let him know if she ever slipped up....she never did. Tanya took me to this amazing tea place called "Snoh" and purchased me a tea. Absolutely AMAZING service. Thank you Tanya, you have no Idea how much that made my day. SWEETEST MOST GENUINE PERSON EVER!!!!

Gwen, in finance, was able to give me a great rate. Since I'm young, and this was my first "new car" purchase, the payments/interest rate is what worried me the most. I am very appreciative for all that he did.

Susan, the Customer Relations Manager, was great too. She followed up with me twice just to make sure that everything was going great with my newly purchased vehicle. I cherish the fact that she didn't excessively call me. When we spoke it was short and brief, and her tone was very professional and inviting. Great customer service skills!!

As stated previously, my experience at Camelback Hyundai was remarkable. I personally have been in automotive business for about 5 years, and have been in customer service for just as long. I know honest, professional, hardworking people when i see it.

The sales rep was very nice but didn't seem to know very much about the vehicle I was purchasing. I had to wait two hours for someone from finance to see me, while I watched other sales attendants gossip and break dance in the middle of the sales floor! Seriously I know it was 7pm but really that's a little unprofessional. Then while waiting for my car to be detailed, it came back with the exterior washed only, and the car was very dusty and the tape was left on the window, and they couldn't find the spare key to my new car. It's a beautiful SUV, but the overall experience was very disappointing, however they do have competitive prices.!

Extremely disappointed. I bought a 2015 Sonata late April. About 3weeks after having my car I started experiencing somewhat of a strange noise with my car. I brought the car in for service and waited 5 hours for them to say they couldn't duplicate the sound therefore there wasn't much they could do. They suggested I go home and if I heard the noise again to take notes when it starts rattling and to try and record the noise then to bring it back in and they would try to duplicate the noise again. I did as I was told and took notes. When I brought the car in for the second time I was told the same thing AGAIN sorry we couldn't duplicate the sound the car drives good and there's nothing wrong with it, take it home and if you hear the noise again this time try to record it and bring the car in. Next day my car starts making the same horrible noise but this time I kept my phone on me and ready to record as soon as I got in the car. I was able to record the noise and took the car in and guess what???? 10mins after driving the car around the block they couldn't duplicate the noise, same scenario take it back home we don't know what it is and the video you recorded is not enough to know where the noise is coming from. Came back two days later to drop off my car and FINALLY get a rental. A day later they figured out what was wrong with my car. The AC MOTOR wasn't working. They had me pick up my car again and was told within 5days the part would be in. I had to call in to check on the status and to only be told now the part is back order after a day before I had just been told it was intransit and would arrive that afternoon. More and more I feel that I am being lied to and I'm simply getting the runaround. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. Simply the worst experience. By the way i am still waiting on them to call me once the "back order" part gets in.

Don't try to buy a car here. If you do, make sure ...

Don't try to buy a car here. If you do, make sure to bring a Kelly Blue Book print-out showing the range of prices on your car, a calculator and someone who knows how to use it, and a lawyer.

There are sort-of myths about "car dealers" involving super-hard bargaining and dishonesty and whatnot. I think car salesmen get an unfortunate reputation for simply trying to make a commission-based salary. However, Camelback Hyundai surpasses the worst of those myths to ensure that they can scam an extra 5-10 thousand dollars on every car sale from the low-income population surrounding the dealership. They apparently are convinced that no one will venture far enough away to any of the other Hyundai dealerships, all of which, from my experience, offer fair prices in stark contrast to Camelback.

In just about every step outside and inside the dealership, the low-level salespeople perhaps unwittingly shield the closer-type salesmen who have them send out a barrage of misinformation and plain lies to get people to get to the dealership and to accept ridiculous prices without exposing themselves to too much criminal liability from false advertising, etc. (although I wouldn't be surprised if the high-end salespeople and up generally had significant criminal histories).

Best dealership lie of the day: the closer found out it was my first car purchase so felt overtaken by some sort of pathological liar's carpe-diem and tried to convince me that when I brought in a fair offer on a year-old model to be "matched or beaten," he was actually beating that price by selling for around $5,000 more because all OTHER dealerships are the real dishonest ones and would have magically made the price rise by $8,000 right at closing. Right, as if all the other dealerships and prices available on the internet are some conspiracy that only Camelback knows about. I told them that I would try to take the offer I had from the other dealership and I would be back if the other dealership raised the price at all. At the other dealership, the price didn't go up. In fact, it went even further down.

Camelback told me that the car I wanted there had been there forever, and it seems that forever there it shall remain--until they take an extra $8,000 from a poor family and spread it out over 72 months at high interest to bankrupt them.

I e-mailed about an "internet" special, I received confirmation on the price, I then drove 45 minutes to the dealership and was shown the car, it was different than described (not base model but LX), I asked several times if the car I test drove was the correct car and if the sales person was giving me the correct price for my situation, I was ASSURED several times that it was correct. I go in after driving the car and I was VERY excited, I sign their forms get my rates and then they tell me that they're sorry but I don't qualify for several of the rebates, and that I was looking at the wrong car, because the other car "wasn't available" at the time. The used the bait and switch technique but took it a step further by also lying to me about the car and price and until after I'd spent 2 hours working with them and my name was already on the paper for the wrong price. The sales people do not have any knowledge about the car they are selling, could not answer my technical questions, and as soon as I was done signing the paperwork rushed me out the door as fast as they could ignoring several of my questions. The car already is in need of some minor warranty repair and they have not sent me my 2nd Key FOB & Key!

Car hasn't been too bad, it now has 64k miles. Still has the same problems it had day 1 with the paint and tint. Had a problem with the alternator tensioner coming off and the dealership not knowing why I had alternator problems... All in all I wish I had bought a different car at this point but if I get 200k out of it or get to hand it off to my kid in a few years, I'll be satisfied.

P.S. After all these years they still send me letters and e-mails and just keep following me around the country, pretty funny really. Reminds me of AZ so I don't really mind them wasting their time/money.

Completely blessed with my whole experience there! Mark helped me purchase my first car. I brought my parents with me and he was so sweet to all of us, he worked hard at finding us the best and lowest payments for my budget. I am so happy we had him to help us out, it made the process so much better. PLUS they are willing to do whatever it takes for you to get your car, I thought that was something truly special . I highly recommend this place!

Seriously the worst customer service I have ever e...

Seriously the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The receptionist and the managers are not supportive. Seriously have been calling regarding questions about a car I purchased going on three days. Either I'm placed on hold for long stretches of time with no one picking up the call, leaving my name and number and told I will get a call back and never do, or they simply just hang up. Seriously the owners need to get down there and fix their dealership. This is ridiculous. I would not recommend buying a car here. The follow up support leaves little to be desired. I really wish I had not purchased my car here.

Went in to potential trade my current car (or just buy) a Jeep on the used car side. Upon arriving at the dealership I see the Jeep doesn t have the wheels and tires that are in the picture online. I was informed that they still had them but took them off to make the price even cheaper than what was showed online. I told them I wanted the Jeep the way it looked online. They got all the paperwork I asked for ready and when I was reviewed it I why was the Jeep cost was more on paper no answer and I asked did this include the wheels and tires they said no. I was told they took the tires off almost a week prior but never update the price or picture on the website. They tried to charge more for the Jeep without wheels and tires when I was told it would be cheaper. Also the finance manager (assuming he s the manager from what he said) acted like he didn t want to give me a buyers order so I could take it to he credit union I get my car loans from. Very unprofessional in many ways and won t be recommending this dealership to anyone.

Service Advisor John Anderson is the real deal. He went over and beyond to help me with an ongoing warranty issue. I've never cared for dealers, only use them while under warranty and for warranty repairs. It's always been less than pleasant until John. I can't thank him enough for his superior customer service.

Love this dealership so far and am very happy with my Hyundai. Very happy! Also Carlos the sales guy was a huge help and made my transaction very smooth.

Very dissatisfied with the condition of my car when i picked it up the first time, further dissatisfied after being talked into purchasing a replacement part completely unrelated to the work that was supposed to be done in the first place. Having to argue a service rep into picking up the labor cost of replacing said part AND still charging for the replacemet part to something that wasnt even broken when i dropped my car off is a shameful way to do business.

I feel Nick Mayer Hyundai TRICKED ME with the selling price. They DID NOT TREAT ME WITH HONESTY AND DIGNITY. I went to the dealership looking for a Hyundai or Kia, but found a used Mazda that I liked more. I didn t know the internet price before I went, and there was no sticker price on the car when I got there. During negotiating, they stated the list price and the internet price was much higher than what we got down to, and that this was the absolute lowest they could go. I signed the papers, but when I got home I looked it up on Autotrader, and the price they offer on AT was even lower! What a rip off! Shame on me for not researching, but SHAME ON Nick Mayer for TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ME! Future potential customers SHOULD BE WARNED! I went back the next day and asked about this pricing practice, and they tried to tell me that they never sell their cars for less than the internet price. I don t expect them to respond to this negative feedback, because you see that they only respond to positive feedback. They didn t even fill up the gas tank for me!

I went into the dealership expecting a hard sale focus type of person as I had looked at 4 different places. When I arrive to the to dealer I asked for Carlos the person I had spoken on the phone, I had given him a basic review Of what I needed and the why s. Once I got there he was really polite focus on my goals and showed me just the options I was looking for which one Of them was safety. He acknowledged listened and acted very polite dedicated to his work and focus individual and most important he humanized himself to my situation. The staff was awesome very energetic positive and nice management was Super good and exceeded any expectations. I was very pleased and thankful as they make you feel valued and do help you ! Thank you for the amazing experience and for assisting me with all my needs!

I initially had stopped at the dealership to have my tires checked because the low tire light on my Hyundai Veloster came on. While I was walking to the waiting area to wait for my car I was greeted with a hello and how are you from a passing by Sales Person. I stopped for a moment and chatted with him and he said would you be interested in taking a look at the 2017 Veloster, I indicated I was not but I would not mind looking at the new Tucson. From there I was so pleased with my sales person that I continued on to purchase a vehicle from him. See what can happen when people are friendly and take the time to say hello.

Pros: Alex was very professional and knowledgeable. I generally expect that I will know more about the options and trim levels of a car in which I am interested than the salesperson as this has been my experience, but Alex was very well-informed and I appreciated that. The test-drive went smoothly and everyone at the dealership was kind and respectful during the first portion of the visit.

Cons: The initial offer made by the dealership was insulting. DO YOUR HOMEWORK before coming to this dealership. They advertise steep discounts to get you in the door. I realize that not all advertised incentives apply to a person, in fact I told this to Alex at the beginning of our visit, at which point I was assured that there were ample incentives to help reduce the cost of the car and combat the negative equity in my trade-in. Thus, when the initial offer on the table was full MSRP, not even true market value, with NO incentives applied AND the offer on my trade was 3-5k BELOW KBB, I was tongue-tied. It was insulting. This isn't my first rodeo and I know most dealerships don't lead with their best, but to even put numbers like this on the table is akin to calling someone illiterate. At that point I realized that to get to the numbers I had in mind would require far more energy and time than I was willing to expend on my primarily information gathering visit. So, I asked for my keys to leave. I had to ask at least FIVE times, two different people, to get my keys. This was my first visit to a Hyundai dealership and I wanted to like it but if this is any indication of how they do business, never again.
