This place is amazing! Beautiful clean rooms right on the lake. Was there for a business meeting but loved waking up sitiing on the balcony and listening to the ducks and geese. Plus a great coffee shop! Stayed in a king suite and it was amazing!
We chose to eat brunch at H.Toads based on the menu from the website. When we arrived, there was only the brunch buffet to choose from, and nothing else on the menu. The biggest turnoff was the filthy, greasy glass doors leading in and out of the patio to eat. The picked over buffet food was nothing to talk about. I feel bad for people who actually paid to stay there. Overrated
Clean bedrooms. The toilet wouldn't stop running, but it was eventually fixed. We were there for a retreat, and the meeting areas were spacious and accommodated our needs. Great lake views.
I just got my hair colored at the spa, but the hairstylist is amazing, and she did a great job.
First off, I want to say this resort is BEAUTIFUL! This past weekend we had a Bachelorette party (Last Fling Before Ring package) and I was able to check in 2 hours early to decorate the room! Our first night went great except for the guys two doors down knocking on our door at 2 am non stop. We went down to the front of Htoads and asked if they had a shuttle to Shady Gators and the 3 young hostess all said I have no idea, and didn't try to be helpful and merely blew me off. My group walked outside and we waited for about 3 mins and a bus that had SHADY GATORS SHUTTLE plastered on the side came by and picked a bunch of people up. Day two we had "spa time" scheduled (I called about 3 weeks ago with appointments). The LFBR special says you can give your $20 credit to the bride, so I just gave mine to her and let the other girls go with her while I went to the pool. Here's where the communication FAILED again! I called as the girls walked down to the spa and they told me just to tell the spa i wanted to transfer my credit to Bride. The girls got to the spa, and were told they couldn't use my $20 credit and it would be lost. After arguing that I would have used it had I known that, they called the owner over and she allowed it. ---Later that night we wanted to get dinner at Horny Toads. I called at 720 and made a reservation for 9. We looked over at HT and saw plenty of tables open so we went over about 835. Walked in and the host Lincoln was at the front and told me it would be 20-25 min wait. OK that's when our reservation was anyways.... after waiting 25 minutes, the table in front of the door came open. a group of 7 walked in, with no reservation, and HE SAT THEM DOWN RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!!! About 2 mins later Sarah came over (manager) and was checking people in and I told her what happened, she IMMEDIATLY got us seated outside and apologized, thank you Sarah.---the hotel was beautiful, but lack of communication makes us not want to come back.
Visited on business, was pleasantly surprised to stay somewhere I'd go to on vacation. Rooms were excellent, catering was average, staff was excellent.
Super clean nice rooms and great view of lake. Beds very comfortable. Provides complimentary breakfast.
My room was nice and everyone who works here was friendly. My biggest problem with this facility is that NO one was wearing a mask. Not one staff member was wearing a mask from the front desk to the waitresses.

Camden on the Lake is a great hotel and the perfect place for an event. I spent three nights there as part of a conference. The rooms were great and the service was incredible.

The rooms are beautiful, but all very different and you never know what you'll get. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The food is amazing as well.
Incredible spaces and a large bar(s) for groups. The rooms feel like a nice getaway. If you have to stay for a longer period of time in a hotel this is the place to stay! If you like to feel like you aren't at a hotel when you are away, this will serve your needs well.
