It was as awesome as I had remembered...my first time back in 5 years and the food was delicious and the service absolutely first class... can't wait another 5 years again...

Our fall wedding at Cambridge Mill went off without a hitch! Every detail was absolutely perfect and accounted for by the staff and coordinators.
We started looking for a venue one year prior and fell in love with Cambridge Mill. From day 1 we knew we were in good hands. Our coordinator Shannon, provided such support and was always available to our questions. A few months prior to the big day, we were transitioned over to Tyler, who exceeded expectations in providing recommendations, guidance and problem solving. No question was too silly, and trust us, we had a lot of questions.
The day was beyond perfect, and every aspect was handled by the coordinating team. Our day of coordinator, Taylor, made it so we didn t have to think, all we had to think about was OUR day and enjoying every moment together.

Some good cocktail options. They struggled a little serving the oysters. Mains were tasty. We enjoyed the clam carbonara and grilled salmon. We felt the desserts were more so so, although the merange was a good treat.

We reserve here for special occaisons and its always fantastic service and exceotional food quality

Top notch restaurant,From the beautiful views to the awesome food and very friendly staff, A great place for that special occasion or a Sunday brunch to die for,. Prices may seem a bit high but worth every penny.

Loved the steak! My husband had a burger and said it was Fantastic. They could use some tablecloths but great dinner!! Beautiful location.

I was here June 2017 for my cousins wedding. It is a stunning venue and we all had a great time! The ceremony was in a beautiful room with a glass window that overlooked forestry and a lake. Cocktail hour was hotel in an intimate room that was half indoors and a cute patio outside. The reception was in a beautiful room that was very rustic. The food was incredible. They had picked a menu with three items and guests could order 1 of the three. I picked the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and it was incredible. They were great at accomdating my fiance who is lactose and tolerant and he very much enjoyed his course as well. A fantastic venue, would love to go back in the future if I am passing through the area.

I just had my wedding here in September, Cambridge Mill makes sure all your visions come to life during your wedding day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is amazing and the service is beyond incredible. During the day I was able to enjoy it without worrying about anything, the staff there makes sure everything runs efficiently, and is always checking up on you to make sure you have everything you need for your day. My guests all loved the food and venue. Thank you for making our day beyond incredible and stress free.

My family Celebrated my Mom's milestone Birthday here for Sunday Brunch today and the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the decor all was amazing!
My husband and I have travelled a lot, lived abroad and eat out often at upscale and trendy restaurants and this one was one of the best!

Not sure how you can have any complaints about this place?... if its busy (because its a great place to eat!!) you should expect to wait a bit longer... regardless of whether you have reservations or not. Have some patience, enjoy your surroundings they are beautiful and the food is excellent!

Cambridge Mill is such a lovely spot. I love their wine selection and the food is very good.

We had our wedding here in October. The venue was beautiful, as expected, the food was excellent, no surprise. What really stood out and put the Mill above others was the service we received throughout the planning process and on the day of our wedding. They know the wedding business well and our consultant was able to anticipate our questions. The kitchen staff worked with our guests to make sure any dietary restrictions were met and the matre d' and concierge kept us running smoothly the day of the event.

Incredible service and food. Took my mom for Mother s Day and it was worth every penny. The service was next level and made the day that much more special.

'Buck-a-shuck' oysters, $1 raw oysters Thursday's at the bar. Definitely coming back with friends.

A really pretty view! Attended a wedding here and enjoyed ourselves so much. Bartenders were great and food came so fast. It was a bit confusing
To get to the pre-reception room for drinks but the main room was great for the rest of the night. I d say it s a little difficult walking to the venue for older guests, those with disabilities, or even just really uncomfortable heels.

Went here on Friday for my girlfriends birthday. When I called to make a reservation I told them it was her birthday and when we arrived I also mentioned it to our server. The food was fine and the view and ambiance was great! But....after our meal they didn't bring anything out for her birthday, no piece of cake or anything. Just the bill and get out. Very disappointing coming from a establishment of this caliber. Heck...even east side Mario's or the keg will bring something out for your birthday! But apparently the mill doesn't? Oh well...I'll never be back especially after spending over $300 on a 2 person meal I expected a lot more.

The place is gorgeous! It's classy and the views are amazing! The food is definitely pricey but the flavours are pure perfection.

Love steak night!! What a great deal. The Caesar salad is excellent and on a hot sultry night you can't beat the sorbet to finish the meal!!

My family and I have eaten here multiple times and always have an OUTSTANDING experience. The people are kind and go out of their way to make our visit memorable. And the food is Delectable! We highly recommend the Cambridge Mill and look forward to years of celebrating here together.

My husband and I and another couple went to the Mill for Sunday Brunch. We had been before and had really enjoyed our experiences. This time many items were very overcooked and frankly inedible, namely the bacon, the back bacon, the lamb, the brussel sprouts and more. On the other hand the prime rib was undercooked and before being served it was cooked in a frying pan. As well, many of the dishes were picked over and looked very unappetizing. All four of us were disappointed. When I got home I decided to phone The Mill and voice my concerns. The person I spoke to said she was a manager, listened to my concerns and said someone would get back to me, however no one did. Considering this and the fact that the brunch costs 51$ we will not be going back to the Mill.

Absolutely beautiful view of the river where the mill used to work. The buffet has a wide variety of options, suitable for vegetarians/vegans. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I've been to the Cambridge Mill twice, and both times were great experiences. The food served is extremely high quality and the service is wonderful. I'm yet to come across any place which has a better view (of the river), so there's a good argument for coming before sun-down. Their Perisian Gnocchi is unbelievably good, so much so that I still think about it sometimes.

Always great!

However, please consider carrying a variety of non-alcoholic beers. Not just one.

Visited the restaurant on September 24th for a business meeting ( ER Direct 1.2 NSTEMI ACS: An Emergency Department Perspective)followed by dinner .

Beautiful scenery for dinner, food was cooked properly and tasted very good, be prepared to pay alot but from what I had it was enjoyable to say the least

11 of us came for my step fathers 60th birthday. Service was great and atmosphere welcoming and warm with a wood fireplace burning. A little unimpressed with my soup being served much less than hot and my partners soup was forgotten about until I mentioned something. Bread was amazing and wine and Caesar was spicy and delicious. So full!!

I always have a great experience here for both the great food and very kind staff.

Food is incredible and the atmosphere is gorgeous. We went for our anniversary (we got married there 3 years previously) and they gave us complimentary dessert that was personalized and some champagne. We will go back every year for our anniversary !

This review is not pertaining to their venue or food but their notification efforts to patrons. We drove 1 hour and 20 minutes from London looking forward to trying the menu and have lunch but we arrived to the restaurant and there is a note on the entry saying they are closed for lunch and will only open at 5pm for dinner service. The website stated you were open, google, open table and no notices on social media regarding a closure especially in a time like now. You should update any closures on your website and table booking apps in the future as some of your patrons may come from away and make it a complete waste of time.

Beautiful restaurant, located by Grand River, with a great view and designed to hold weddings, has a very good menu and services.

Can't speak about how the food is good or not as we didn't eat there. After being told we had a 1.5 hour time limit in the restaurant we decided we'd rather eat elsewhere. No other restaurant we have eaten at since Covid-19 have given us a time limit - particularly not a pricey place where you want to casually relax and eat. Not impressed!

Yesterday, I took my family to The Cambridge Mill for my grandma's 95th birthday, we had a wonderful waiter named Andrew. We sat down and ordered drinks to celebrate the special occasion. After our drinks arrived we placed our lunch order. At this moment grandma had a stroke and we quickly got her to the hospital. We told Andrew what had happened and that we needed to settle our bill and that we would not be staying to dine. The Cambridge Mill covered our bill and we could not be more appreciative of the sentiment, it was such a class act! We will be sure to return to The Cambridge Mill!

Such a beautiful place. Great staff and wonderful manager who took care of us. We had some issues with food coming out: took a long time. But overall the food was good, (some dishes a little salty) some were really great, I had a 10oz steak and it was done perfectly. Overall a really nice experience.

Great brunch, service, cocktails and oysters. Sat by a window with a River view. Worth every penny and can't wait to go back.

I have been a longtime customer of the Cambridge Mill and my recent experience has not only turned me off from ever returning, but also my friends and family too. We were planning on doing a large reservation as a dinner to make up for the fact our wedding to cancelled due to Covid. As you know, Covid has created a lot of stress and uncertainty. However, the service that I received was not only rude but also unexpected from the Cambridge Mill. I had made a reservation with Tyler, who was kind. But - he had gone on vacation and as a result, I had to deal with Daniella. She was rude, unkind, unapologetic even when I had mentioned that someone hung up on me on a previous day, and aggressive. All we wanted to know was if we would be able to up our reservation list. Tyler was very easy to talk to, very kind and represented the ideal customer service that the Cambridge Mill usually bestows their customers with. Daniella, on the other hand, seemed unwilling to help given the circumstances and also made us feel as if she is going out on a limb to answer questions. She made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to her and as if our service was unwanted.

I will not be returning and have to say I am very disappointed. We have brought many customers to you guys through referral and always bring our guests from other countries (so that the reputation of the mill is more known) to your restaurant.

Looking for the perfect location to celebrate a birthday or other special event, or just...because?! Cambridge Mill Restaurant would be my go-to place every time! Our server, Shawna just knew the right questions to ask when we couldn't decide between steak, pork tenderloin, or lamb. When asked about full bodied red wines, knowing our table's food order, quickly narrowed down the choices while explaining why she made the suggestions that she did. When we received our food order, there was some confusion about a meat order. The dining room manager, Shawn, came over and offered to replace it. Now, these are NOT inexpensive meals, by any stretch. It was not necessary to make the change.





While I only saw the bar in passing, it exuded a 'come back and stay awhile' atmosphere. I would suggest that it is perfect for those casual, intimate gatherings or events...so very inviting!

This is certainly one restaurant that is on my list of need to return to!

Just incredible!!! No matter what dish you order, you will be amazed. Expect a bit higher prices, but it is definitely worth it.

Sharp elegant restaurant for a special evening out whether you are a couple or a family. Excellent food with a reasonable, even if limited, wine list.

We were here for my son's wedding December 21st,2018.the most beautiful place.service outstanding.food incredibly delicious.the facility is over the top so beautiful.

Delicious food and the best view. I love the open windows when the weather is good.

Great Food, great service, great view, a little pricey but you pay for perfection.
