I came here for my wedding anniversary and the food and service was exceptional. I love the view outside as well. It was a perfect evening.

YUK!!!! Can we give a ZERO ? Never again at Cambridge Mill. During this challenging times we are supporting local. We ordered the fried chicken take out for two and it was gross. So salty, no flavour just salt in the chicken and the coleslaw. So here we are after $40 for four pieces of salty chicken. Don t wast your money KFC is way better and cheaper. Cheers

Atmosphere is incredible, staff is attentive and friendly while still letting you enjoy your meal. Food and drink was all beyond expectations- it was live music night and that added a special touch. Can't wait to save up and go back.

We booked our wedding here for October 4th 2019. Let me tell you one thing, the team that oversees planning and execution is top tier. Ty, Natalie, Matty, and the tons of others behind the scenes made our day amazing. So glad we chose the Mill as our venue, it came with pretty much everything sorted or they helped you find everything you needed. Food was superb, service was unmatched, and the planning/ events team was unreal. Truly a night we will never forget. If you are looking to plan a wedding, this is where you do it. Hands down.

Gorgeous place, beautiful view, and humble and friendly staff...there's nothing pretentious about this restaurant, but some items are a tad pricey.

We ordered three appetizers: potato flat bread, beet salad and muscles. All were fantastic - especially the beet salad. The main courses were red lentil burger and the freshly made daily pasta - both excellent, both vegetarian.

We finished off our meal with some excellent desert - apple caramel cheese cake. It was very sweet and so very tasty...a sweet end to the first of many visits.

A great experience for a belated 1st Anniversary dinner. They are doing a great job at providing a wonderful dining experience while doing their utmost to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

As an event planner and bridesmaid, I was completely surprised and very impressed at how well this establishment executed the wedding! Each individual staff was amazing, sweet, professional and efficient. Everyone went out of their way to make the day so fantastic for the bride and groom. Thank you for making their day that much more special!

Beautiful view and good service but food is just okay. I ordered a beet salad as my appetizer and the dish came with 5 or 6 whole beets. A ridiculous serving and presentation. Don t even remember much about the main course.....

Food was delicious and there was lots to choose from the only problem was it was PRETTY pricey even just for people. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Will i go back for brunch? Most likely not.

Wonderful Sunday Brunch. From Waffles, to fresh oysters, baked beans, and lovely eggs benedict. What a feast in a beautiful setting!

My wife and I got married on November 1st 2019 and honestly it was the best experience of my life. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was second to none. From the venue we said our vows overlooking the river to the amazing fire roaring in the room I could not have asked for any more.

My wife and I plan to continuing visiting the mill several times a year despite the long drive as the food in general is amazing.

Big shout out to all the staff including our wedding planner Ty, right down to the amazing gentleman tending the bar. The security provided to take pictures was also awesome.

Went for Sunday brunch, and booked my reservation early in the week. I called prior to my reservation the day before to confirm. The day of I recalled to say that I was having less people in my reservation.
When I called the second time to confirm, they had messed up the date and I had asked them to change it to Sunday, rather than Monday. When I called Sunday morning the reservation was STILL wrong. They put my guests in a small room down stairs, made us go up stairs for our food, and wait for the elevator to get back down stairs. By the time we got down to eat our food it was cold, and the food wasn't great. You could tell that they were serving for numbers, and not by quality. Both times we had gone upstairs to get food there were two tables (large enough to seat 4 of us) and both times they were unclean and empty, which we would've waited to enjoy. I had asked to be moved up stairs when we had got there and the host said she would have to get her manager. Her manager came down half an hour later and told us we'd have to eat down stairs, or that we could rebook a reservation for later on in the evening for them to accommodate us. She was impolite and talked down to us. As a previous employee of Pearle Hospitality, I never expected such disrespect and disappointment from the Cambridge Mill. This is not the quality of service and hospitality I would've showed my guests and I would've gone above and beyond to make sure they enjoyed their experience. I used to pride my work at Pearle, and I am embarrassed by the service I received here on my birthday. Not worth $60 of cold food, and poor service. Will not be returning.

The Cambridge Mill did an OUTSTANDING job with our wedding. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the food was delicious, and all preparations were done without a hitch. Every single concern or inquiry was handled with incredible professionalism and swiftness. They made our wedding reception seamless, stress free, and perfect!

Brunch at the Cambridge Mill is a great experience for the family. It is very busy, but that is an attestation to the quality and selection of food. It can be a little confusing though, as there are food stations in two different rooms. Alcohol service for brunch starts at 11am. We had a two hour table time limit.

Relaxing and comfortable dining restaurant. Sunday brunch is excellent with a great choice of dishes either cold or hot and the crepes are to die for. Delicious!

Fancy restaurant in a great location overlooking the weir on the river. Decent selection of local beers, very good pizza.

We came for brunch to celebrate my mom's birthday. It a delicious experience! Food is incredible and the staff are super friendly. Loved it.

We had an intimate wedding at the Cambridge Mill and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! The staff at the Cambridge Mill were all so accommodating, kind and helpful. Special thanks to our Coordinator, Lyndsay, for her helpfulness and responsiveness in making our special day go so smoothly. We also wanted to thank Philip, Dawson and Charlotte for all their help as well; our day couldn't have gone so well without you all! We'd highly recommend the Cambridge Mill and their staff for a wedding. Thank you all for helping us make our vision a reality and for making our wedding so memorable and perfect!

I really wanted to like this place. The renovations are gorgeous, the menu is very good ... they lost me first with the piece of cookware that had broken off and was left in my meal and second with the lack of apology/accountability. I m sure some people have an excellent time here, but my experience has me not wanting to go back.

Love the brunch - so much selection Dinner seems overpriced.

A beautiful venue with lots of food to choose from but was not what I expected for an amazing restaurant

Extremely pricey compared to what you get for food quality and portion. For a family of 4, total bill was close to $180 (no alcohol, 2 small girls under 10). That $180 does include two desserts. Food was OK. I had the roasted mushroom pizza, wife had the halibut, girls had veggie pizza and Mac and cheese. Food was good but not quite what I would consider $45/head good. Views are very nice, overlooking the Grand River and the service was reasonable. If the cost was halved, I'd give it 4 or 5 stars but based on the prices charged, it wasn't anything over and above what I get from Swiss Chalet, Red Lobster, or Boston Pizza etc. Won't be returning as this was something one of my girls wanted to try and it's now off her list :)

Such a beautiful place I would recommend it to anyone

We attended my niece's wedding here on Saturday. It was a perfect experience. The staff did a great job in organizing every part of the event and staying on top of it throughout the afternoon and evening. Everything flowed perfectly. The service was great and the food was second to none! On top of that, there's a beautiful view of the river, especially from the chapel, where the wedding ceremony was held. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures there.

Shawna B. was amazing!. It was our first time visiting the Cambridge Mill, Shawna was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, she even provided personal experiences with the wineries. She was very professional yet personable throughout our evening. One of our dishes was missing a key ingredient, when Shawna was informed, a manager was promptly at our table rectifying our concern. We will definitely return to this fabulous restaurant. Amazing customer service.

Was there for a birthday dinner. They had a modified menu for covid which is understandable but you would think with less on the menu the quality might be a bit better? Not really the case. Had the calamari which was undercooked and a steak as my main. kind of small for what you pay for. Flavour wise it was okay. As for a fine dining place there are better options. View of the area is nice. First time here and most likely my last.

Amazing food and great staff. Perfect place to celebrate a special ocassion. My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here. Shawna took care of us. She was so sweet and delightful. A must visit.

Very disappointed in the brunch buffet. It was a zoo when we arrived, a lot of the food was cold and plates weren't cleared in a timely manner. Our waiter disappeared for 45 minutes, near the end of service. We had to ask two separate servers to help us so we could pay and leave. No one seemed to care that our waiter was nowhere to be found. Absolutely will never be back.

Oysters, cauliflower, and the tenderloin steak were absolutely marvelous. Amazing atmosphere.

I got to visit the Mill for the first time and went on a Thursday for the buck a shuck promo. Overall the venue is fantastic along with the decor inside. The freshness of the oysters and quality of the other apps served was spot on from the kitchen. However, I did find the service staff to be a bit sloppy. We had to ask for napkins and forks after the food got served. No one checked up on us either to see how we were doing. Other then that its a 4/5 for me :)

I took my girlfriend here last night for a belated anniversary dinner. Our server, Dave was incredible. He never overstayed his welcome, he was quick to offer refills on drinks and even brought out 2 glasses of complimentary champagne for our special evening. He knew the menu and all featured drinks and entrees like his own address.
My reason for giving 3 stars however, was that my girlfriend and I were seated after 6 other people came in with reservations for the first time. The manager on shift never made much of an attempt to have us seated and another server literally ran over and apologized for the wait, she said that there were no tables ready... Which I found impossible to believe considering there were 4 cars in the parking lot and 3/4 of the place was empty.
Give Dave a raise or a promotion though, this guy carried the night on his shoulders and did an amazing job.

Really nice buffet brunch and the restaurant itself is beautiful! Amazing views and decor. Coy and rustic yet elegant. And the staff were really friendly! Going back for my mom's birthday in a couple of weeks!

I was married Jan 17.2020 at the Cambridge mill and it was amazing,
I would not have chosen anywhere else. The team, location and food are by far the best, it was one of the happiest days of my life and I would not have changed a thing!!

LETS TALK FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
I was captivated by the venue when my husband and I went for the walk through the venue, the architecture is both modern and rustic, with the scenery set to the rushing waters next door, and the glass windowed ceremony space took my breath away, it was one of 5 venues we were checking out but we new instantly this was the place we wanted to be married. We received the tour from Erika (she was awesome! she was very friendly, not pushy at all and very hospitable without any pressure) when we came back to meet with the wedding coordinator we met with Vanessa, whom was a savvy and professional woman and went through all the options with us, they won me over with the confectionery they displayed and offered. If you like macaroons, well these are to die for! I am a pretty picky eater so I was happy that the desserts all tasted great and they could be offered at our wedding.
LETS TALK FOOD:
Food? it is AMAZING. Again, I am pretty picky but the tasting/wedding food was one of the most delicious things I've had, every option was delicious.
If I needed a reason to reverse time, I would reverse time to go back to my wedding for the food alone. It was exquisite.
We had: "celery root and apple puree" (sounds weird, but is a tasty and different from the norm soup!), "Grilled half chicken with balsamic and herb vinaigrette", "Craft Cut beef tenderloin with bordelaise sauce"(Tender and juicy for mouthwatering goodness!), and finally "mascarpone cheesecake"
From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert every meal was made to perfection.
I added the late night service so we also offered fruits, brownies, cookies, etc. (not your normal assortment these where high dinning tasty morsels!) with mine customized to include the macaroons which were off the charts delicious.
CEREMONY SPACE:
The ceremony space, is absolutely stunning.
Something out of a Disney movie, with its beautiful crystal chandeliers, waterfall backdrop, and wooden architecture. Breath taking.
The additional benefit here is that they offer to do the music for the event and you can choose to get an associated officiant. We had Martii, whom was a funny and friendly individual perfect for the warmth of the moment.
The music was also on par, it was inspiring and romantic, I could not absorb a lot of this atmosphere as my eyes where teary and I was overjoyed focusing on my husband on the day of, but the guests were blown away.
THE PEOPLE:
Because my wedding day was everything I ever wanted and more, I want to give a big shout out to all the staff members whom made this night a possibility and helped in the event to keep it afloat:
Vanessa, Erika, TYSON!(whom was a big hit at the wedding reception and very useful throughout the whole night), ASHLEY!(whom was a great help and did everything in her power to ensure the night went off without a hitch), Monica, and Bar Tender (whose name I never learned but he was great and all the guests seemed to love him too!).

All in all they completely deserve the 5 stars

Amazing food, wonderful staff, romantic atmospheric... just perfect.

Cambridge Mill is a nice and beautiful restaurant fitting for special events and wedding receptions (there's a church nearby). You will get the amazing view of the Grand River. The view of the river is so pretty especially on a sunny day reflecting lots of light.

The steak I had, a 7 oz tenderloin, was really good; it was better than steaks I've had at some other restaurants in the KW area. The dessert, Apple-Pecan Cheesecake was okay. Coffee was good. Service was pretty attentive.

Parking is available next to the restaurant; and you might get a ride in a golf cart from your car to the entrance. There are nice parks around the restaurant for a stroll after a meal. It's a really awesome place for a date night as well as for hosting events.

The Cambridge Mill as usually did not disappoint. We had Lysa as our Waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. My wife and enjoyed a relaxed menu and some fantastic cocktails. While we may live almost next door to the Elora Mill, The Cambridge Mill is worth the drive.
