The worst Hyundai ownership I have ever seen. To guys who is looking forward to buy car from this dealership" Be aware of the fraudism behind the attractive price n deals by them. They manipulate(cover up the damage) their pre-owned cars, so that costumer will buy that in first look. They even Compromise the safety.

I wish that the incident which happened with me should not happen with anyone else. I purchased a pre-owned car from Hyundai Cambridge in May, 21016. I wanted to buy a different car but by the time I went to buy it, that car was sold so I had no option and booked the last car. On test drive I brought up certain concerns about the car. The sales man(Nick) promised me to correct everything before they sell it. I trusted him. On the day of the deal(pick up) still the car was not up to the level and the scratches on the front n back of bumper was projecting out. I checked the car- proof and the sales man also convinced me that "car had no accidents". When asking about the scratches, they said it would cost a couple of 100 dollars to fix it but still I get it for a good deal from the Hyundai showroom. I trusted the brand HYUNDAI ( I think it's a mistake ).

They were hurrying up and pushing me to buy that car but coz of their frequent approach I was convinced and booked that car. Still I remember the day I picked up the car..... I had to wait extra 2 hours coz they were trying to cover the scratches on the car on my request. At last Nike
gave me a car coloring pen and I was also tired and took that car. As I love to maintain my things, I spent money and painted over all scratches immediately.

I think, I did the biggest mistake by not re-checking the car from a good mechanic or another dealership because in next couple of weeks the car started jerking from front when the speed exceeded above 30 km/hr. Unfortunately, I am not a car mechanic and neither do I know to inspect a car from the bottom plane. I took the car again back and they took one and half hour and told nothing mistake exists with the car. Since I trusted the Hyundai Cambridge even though it was giving jerking I was planning to solve this issue on the next servicing as it was previously clarified.

This time by luck I went to the Kitchener Hyundai for my first servicing and there I was welcomed with the best customer service approach which I had never received from Cambridge Hyundai. The Hyundai mechanic ( Brad ) called me in and shown the broken skid plate. . He told this was making the vibration and it makes the car unsafe to ride as the supporter of the radiator is broken. He confirmed from his experience that it was broken long ago. From the time I brought this car there was not a single accident , and not even a minor harm happened to the car.

I was advised to go and talk with the manager at HYUNDAI CAMBRIDGE coz this was an obvious mistake from their side, but as usual I received a very rude and disrespecting attitude from the manager Mark and the staff. They behaved to me as if I took the Car without paying them. What I do not understand is that , they even commented on my first service from the Kitchener Hyundai as, I did a purchasing from a VARIETY STORE. Is this the trust I have in Hyundai. I could have been to any other car dealers other than Hyundai but its the matter of trust in their service, which the Cambridge Hyundai have shattered it completely - not only by selling a damaged car but also ENDANGERING A CUSTOMERS LIFE giving it a safety certificate. They agreed that, the car had scratches on the front and the back bonnet to the extend that the dealership itself painted the sides. What more should I say .......

I lost my trust from Hyundai because I have my family riding with me always and I have to ensure their safety too which is more important for me than anything else.

We have wondered into the Guelph location a few times and are always reminded why we take our business to Cambridge! My last purchase was with Andy, who was super friendly and super helpful, would recommend him to anyone and everyone! Though it is a bit of a treck for services, its well worth it compared to the Guelph location!

I am honestly amazed with the customer service that they provide, my car decided not to start one day and Hyundai made everything better for me. Not only did they sit with me and explain what car would work best for me and my lifestyle but they were a super big help every step of the way. They eased my stress by helping me out with a courtesy vehicle while I waited for my car to be delivered and when I went to pick up the car I couldn't of been happier! Amanda and Mary were absolutely amazing to me and Mike was such a gentleman, being around everyone in there I felt like I was buying a car from family, you guys are seriously amazing if I could I would give you guys 6 stars!

Next step I was asked to call - (!!!???) - and I refused to call. because all I wanted to know it a price for the certain car. Is it a top secret to give it over the chat window? Alice was very informative and held our hand every step of the way she really listened to everything we asked for and discussed and helped us make the right choice for us. We followed up with Mary in finance who was also very supportive, informative and friendly. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and honest. From the very first time we visited the dealer to look at and test drive a car, the experience was second to none. We had visited several different manufacturers dealership prior to visiting Cambridge Hyundai and the experience at those ranged from casual indifference to good, however, when we arrived at Cambridge Hyundai we were met by Gerry Santos who greeted us with a smile and answered all of our questions, whilst all the time there was no big sales pressure. We told him what we were looking for, and when we were planning to purchase, and because they did not have the exact vehicle we were looking at, he found something similar and then later arranged for us to test drive his bosses car.
Inevitably, when it came time to buy, this dealership was our first choice and they did not dissapoint.
I would recommend Cambridge Hyundai and Gerry Santos to anyone who is looking for a new Hyundai, i am very pleased with the car and pleased with the whole sales experience.

It was totally worst experience with him, i felt its to me by luck but when I discussed this to my friends they all says Loki doing this to all. So many customers who want to buy a car from Cambridge and having a Loki have bad experience.

When i was there at Cambridge Hyundai for inquiry of car features, total price and financing process. First when he introduced himself and discussed about car i felt all going good, i already told him that i was there inquiring for new car. He discussed the features and then asked me for documents for test drive, i gave it to him and then i took test drive. After that he asked me for what new accessories you want in car, I thought he just asked me for final price calculation but it was my mistake he directly met me to finance approval officer with car details(VIN number, car colour, Engine number and stock number) and officer start filling application, I stopped him and asked what are you doing, i am not here to buy a car at moment, i want just information for now. But then Loki came from his office and rush me to sell that car and when i said i am just for inquiry, he said then why i west his time(Awesome LOKI MAN, you are selling personal it is your job to give details of car to customers, it depends on customer that he want to buy or not).
He told us for deposit 500$ and said dont worry just give deposit and when you ready to buy car we will minus it from total price. It clearly mean that i must have to buy the car which you want to sell to me at any way. I just denied and left the office.

I am living in Cambridge, I bought same car from Bolton Hyundai (91km) with royal experience with mr Muhammad arif.My two friends who want to buy a car and I recommend them Bolton Hyundai and they bought it with nice deal.

She was knowledgeable, polite and answered all my questions in detail. They took my car in right away and my car was ready at the time promised. Because of Jamie, this is the only Hyundai dealership I will deal with going forward. I have been to other Hyundai dealerships, but this is by far the best Hyundai dealership I have ever gone to.

My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle late on a Saturday afternoon and Gerry took the time to speak with us. Gerry asked if we wanted to test drive the used 2017 Santa Fe we had been looking at in the lot, so we did. We actually never thought of test driving that day, but with Gerry being so friendly how could we pass it up. Gerry had explained all the different features on the vehicle and showed us how some of them worked while we had been out on our test drive. Once our drive was over we never felt pressured to purchase the vehicle and we did not. Gerry actually got us into a new 2017 Santa Fe. I would definitely recommend going in to see Gerry.

O.J. the sales manager was great to deal with and he has a great sense of humor, I never laughed so much buying a car before. Mary the business manager was great to work with and always had a smile even when I changed the contract twice before it was all over. Kylee Erwin the Sales Consultant who worked with me , was really amazing. She asked the right questions to understand what i was looking for in a car and off course she kept in mind the budget . There was no pressure selling and I felt really comfortable working with her .I gave her all the information and she did the rest, got me the Car that I am really enjoying and feel safe in,within a short time .

Mary Young helped me to get the best financing options and she was quick and efficient to getting the paperwork ready on time.

Tyler Wheeler was so helpful when we picked the car, he move all my stuff from my old car ( which he didn't have to by the way ) and switched my registration plates to the car we had purchased .

I came in with my 7 year old and she was like enjoying the popcorn and the fact that she got a balloon and I was happy with the family friendly environment . We all know kids can be adventurous and sometimes chaotic ,lounge area comfortable and kids play area awesome.

I definitely know where all my friends and Family are getting their next cars.

I have bought my car in 2017, so it is only 2.5 ye...

I have bought my car in 2017, so it is only 2.5 years old. I could not start it today, went to the dealer where I bought it, they told me that battery died and that is because I left in in the cold outside - today was +2 at night (my car is always parked in the garage overnight) and also because I have low kms on the car (28000 km for 2 years) battery did not charge properly, meaning that I don't drive it enough. I drive this car to work every day. I had to pay $400 for new battery and some service tests, which should not even have been run or should be still covered under warranty (warranty is for 60000 or 5 years). The average battery life is around 5-7 years, this one lasted only 2.5 years, seriously? For brand new car? What kind of low quality parts you have to use so the battery dies that fast??? Very low quality of the battery for $40000 car. I have also paid $450 earlier this year because of my break pads were giving some sound. I do come for regular oil changes and maintenance services and apparently these serviced didn't catch the issue, nor they could cover it under warranty. I am very, very disappointed with such low quality car for such amount of money. Will never recommend this dealer to anyone, as there is NO reliable service, just sucking money for nothing.

Update (Dec 15): So, the dealer left me an e-mail to contact the, I did, no response for a week and I had "Battery discharge warning" on my 2 year old hyndai Tucson. Battery discharge for completely new battery that the dealer installed a month ago! Seriously? This means that I was charges faulty for battery change and accompanied tests of $400, charged for nothing! Meaning my old battery was just fine and there is another problem in the car that they could not figure out! Ridiculous service! DO NOT USE THEM! CHARGE MONEY FOR NOTHING!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Cory while shopping for a 2016 Genesis V6 Coupe. He went above and beyond being helpful, let me test drive the car and answered every question. He handled everything expertly and I really enjoyed the experience with him. When I was turned over to the finance manager Paul Walia, the entire experience changed. Paul was rude, condescending and treated me very poorly. He made it abundantly clear that he did not think I would get approved for the car and was just going through the motions. He did not discuss any warranty or rust proofing options with me until after I prompted him about it. We had submitted the application already and I was caught off guard by how rude he was that I didn't ask ahead of time about them. He begrudgingly started going over them with me, all the while being very dismissive of my interest with them (because as I mentioned, he was apparently convinced I would not be approved). When my approval came through mid way through his explanation, his demeanor suddenly changed and now he was interested in telling me about the warranties and how they would affect my payments. The only problem is I was approved without those warranties included, so I'm not sure how he's going to manage to add them in after the fact. That's just another hoop I'm going to have to jump through I guess.

Overall, loved the sales experience but anything relating to Paul left a very sour taste in my mouth and I hope I can deal with someone else at the dealership for my next steps. I would love to be able to redeem my car buying experience with Cambridge Hyundai and be able to leave a better review.

EDIT - Since posting this review, Charles reached out to me in regards to the situation and helped me to get set up with the extended warranty I was interested in adding. Additionally Mark Erwin has reached out to me to discuss my experience, and while we have not spoken yet, I am still very impressed with how quickly they tried to remedy the situation and improve my experience. I would not do business with Paul again, but everyone else at the dealership seems fantastic.

*This review is regarding the Cambridge Hyundai showroom located within the Cambridge Center*
I came in to look at the Genesis model as I was in the market for a sports luxury vehicle. The sales representative was extremely rude. I came in and said "hi" but he ignored me which I thought was odd but brushed it off thinking he didn't hear me. I was looking at the exterior and later came around the side and opened the door to inspect the interior; the representative quickly stopped me and said "Can I ask you not to step inside and just look, this is for serious inquirers only." He later went on and on about how there was only a few left and that he wanted to bring it back to the dealership in good shape. Honestly at that point I should've left but I rationizaled that I was doing nothing wrong as this was a SHOWROOM. I asked him some general details about the transmission system and he responded in a condescending tone "I just said there are only a few left and I don't know what they are going to do next." Never have I been treated with such disrespect. Maybe if he tried a little harder, he would have sold the car before having to send it back. Just for the sake of accountability this happened on May 18th at about 8:30. With service like this, will definitely not be purchasing a vehicle from Cambridge Hyundai.

After my review, it took about 20 minutes for the owner (?) to email me and apologize for the poor service. Mark is a completely personality than the salesperson, that's for sure! I received free maintenance for a year as well as free mats for my Tucson when I asked originally asked for a discount. Customer Service and happy people seem to be what he strives for. The apology alone when it was unexpected was enough for me but throw in some free stuff and I have already changed my mind and recommended Hyundai to those who are looking for Tucson! Thanks Mark. I sold the car to myself before I walked in. The salesman was awful and told me that I was wrong about 10 times. I finally got to the manager and told him that he's lucky I wanted the car and that old school tactics don't work in today's world. The entire 'let me talk to the manager in a dark room' is not the current process. I bought a Honda at Cambridge Honda 2 seconds before I walked through the Hyundai doors. Yes another car and they did it right within an hour! I love my Tucson but the sales at Hyundai is absolutely horrible.

Bought a sonata hybrid last September. The car is great, but the sales person really messed us around. I wanted leather, I didn't get it. He swore up and down that when kids make a mess, there won't be an issue because of all the stain protection in the fabric. My seats are disgusting. They are also fraying. I've been waiting months to have it fixed. Been screwed around for the past few months about it. Again this week. The sales manager and I had a conversation about two months ago. I asked him to tell me the cost of having leather installed. The company they use, their number is out of service. So he said he will call me back. I've never heard a word. Their service people will call you in out of work for a warranty appointment, and not have the parts. The sales people are great when you're looking to buy, and treat you like garbage after you've purchased. My advice: great car, terrible location. Go to a different dealership

Unfortunately we signed and purchased the 2016 SantaFa XL this week and regret every moment of it. Sales Rep called us personally to take advantage of the Private Sale that was quickly ending. We arrived to find out nothing about the sale and to date I have no clue what the perk was. We rushed late in the day to get to the dealership in spirits we were to receive a deal.

Sales rep would ask 3-4 questions at a time and would walk away for approx 10-15 minutes at a time. Having my 2 year old daughter there she increasingly got tired and frustrated as so did we. The conversation took 3 hours. This waiting tactic exhausted us to the point I unclearly made the worse decision to proceed with the purchase.

The purchase process was unethical in my opinion. Sales rep would only should me on a pen and paper what the biweekly payments would be and when i asked for the break down (total cost), i was declined my request and brushed off. I took the calculator from his desk as he took another 15 minute break and realized i was paying 4000 dollars more than internet Build and Price amount. Sales rep had no explanantion or break down as to where the 4000 dollars was made up of. I read the fine print and could not find it either.

I have spent the last few days since, regreting my purchase and attempting to figure out ways to reverse the transaction or sell back the vehicle, possibly trade it into Toyota or another dealer. I would prefer to take a loss of a few thousands of dollars than associate myself with this product.

The only reason I purchased the Santafe is because i thought it would be less expensive compared to my preferred vehicle, Highlander. But in actuality it became more expensive. The mid class Santa Fe is more expensive then the limited, highend Toyota Highlander!

Once last thought, I have a Corporate discount which i continued to ask if it was applied to the sales price, Sales rep would confirm yes but i could not as i have no invoice to cross reference. Therefore even with my corporate discount, the "private sale" promo I still paid more than the internet pricing, and over what i would have paid if it was a Toyota.

I will never buy new again, especially a Hyundai. Will not put another family member through that wait again.

Took my car to get a standard oil change, and needed them to take a look at my indicator. I told them at the time of making the appointment, AND when I checked in that I had replaced the bulb 3 times within the year. This should be a red flag to any mechanic, because lights don't need to be replaced that quickly. The service rep told me she'd have her tech look at it, and did mention that a diagnostic test would be additional. I had no issues with paying for it because I needed the problem fixed. She came back, advising that the tech found both front lights needed to be replaced, and that would resolve my issues. I trusted them, and gave them the go ahead. I was at the dealership for over an hour and a half until I got my car back. I checked the blinker when I got in my car, and the issue was still prominent. Because they were closing, I decided to give them a call a couple of days later, and in hindsight this was the wrong move. It took the service rep 5 days to get back to me, and this was after I followed up in between, because I hadn't heard back from her.
One star because the oil change was successful. The epitome of a dealership experience, when you know they're only there to churn you out, and make money off of you.
I've built a career in customer service and sales for the past 10+ years, and this is not how I'd treat my customers. I guess they don't care about customer retention. Learnt my lesson, so if I could give you any advice, I suggest you take your car elsewhere!

This is a late but well needed review. I bought a 2014 Honda Civic LX at this dealership during the summer of 2019; I bought that as my first car. I understand that part of buying a car should include having some knowledge about prices and the specs within a vehicle but I guess i ve learned my lesson. I bought this civic for almost 16,000...... 16K for a Civic... I got charged a variety of hidden fees thinking that this dealership was honest and considered that i was an average human and not some money. The car had a chip in the glass, the wipers were in complete trash condition but I guess I should ve known better. 16,000 on a 2014 Honda Civic that I traded in for the value of 8,000, I lost half of my money in less than a year of buying it and I felt humiliated when bringing in my paperwork to the dealerships of my new car because they said straight to my face that I had gotten ripped off. It breaks my heart to know that people can t be honest and understand that we work hard for our money and deserve honesty and not to be taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge. I WILL not be coming here or recommending this dealership to anyone.

I drove from Brampton on no notice because my engine was having issues and no GTA dealership apparently had the time for me. Jaime booked me right away and was just so helpful. I cant thank her enough for helping me. 2 days and she had great news for me. Worth the drive up.
