Incredible! Truly, this place is great! Free! Parking is $9. So pack the car up and bring the kids for an entire day of learning and fun! Also, the Endeavor exhibit is well worth the additional $2.

This is where you can see the Space Shuttle at no cost. There are several museums at Exposition Park. Some are free, like the Science Center, and others cost, like the Museum of Natural History. The museums are right off the Expo Line across from USC.
visited king tut exhibit, it was very nice. collection of very unique items and exhibits from Egypt. Endeavour is always big attraction for kids. Imax theater has huge screen , don't miss it.
The King Tut Exhibit was awesome. A definite must see. The rest of the museum is cool as well.
My Kids liked it they had a good time. lots of things for them to learn and be interactive with staff were very kid friendly and offered lots of knowledge about the areas they were in. We Went when they first opened it wasn't to crowded. It didnt get crowded til mid afternoon by then we were already leaving. They have little restaurants to eat in there as well as a Gift shop. If you're visiting the area and looking for family friendly things to do I recommend you stopping here.

Whenever we visit this place with family we spend fun and informative hours. We just went to the exhibition about dogs and we were very entertained for two hours. We went to the IMAX to see Hubble and I highly recommend it. The parking has a cost of 12 dollars and only accept payment in cash. I suggest you take a snack and visit the adjoining Museum without having to leave because hunger presses you.
I always enjoy the movies on IMAX. This theater is impressive. If you are in the area and enjoy science this is the place to be at.
Had went a few months ago with my little sister and we had such a good time. Theres so much cool stuff to look at and yet not enough time. I will definitely be coming back soon

This place is great. Friendly staff, clean, lots to see! Just pay $12 parking (or park somewhere else and walk) and entry is free. Great experience for kids and adults alike, hands on and engaging.

King Tut exhibit was fantastic! I stayed on my feet, gawking and absorbing the caption and audio guide content, for two solid hours without even noticing the time!
I love coming to this place with family. It s an awesome interactive museum. Its fun for all ages. They will all love it. As well if you live in Los Angeles I recommend you to become a member. It s so worth.

This place was worth going to for the Endeavor alone, but coming here during the Pixar exhibit was very cool. It's a fun experience for both adults & kids.
Love the exhibits ever since I first visited when I was 7 during a school field trip. They re still more exhibits that I have yet to see. My family and I took my little brother and he was overjoyed!
Can t wait to see Tuts amazing treasures. I have a deep passion for Ancient Egypt Art. My family and I just got back from Egypt and were gone a month. Saw Tuts Treasures there and now it s coming to my home state. JUST A SHOUTOUT TO ALL AMERICANS WHO THINK EGYPT IS NOT SAFE. EGYPT IS A VRRY SAFE COUNTRY AND MY FAMILY AND I NEVER FELT ANY THREAT. It is interesting all the new facts you find there. I recommend the anatomy section and the space section. You are able to see a real Space Shuttle!

It was "FREE". Yes, the California Science Center is free. They have a few simulators that are only $5. The IMAX was $8 that showed Apollo flight to the moon. Huge crowd but spacious. I definitely recommend this place to families.
Love this place. Great for kids, great area. Although the Egyptian exibit in spring of 2018 was overpriced and somewhat misleading when viewing the ads, I was lead to believe that the famous sarcophagus was here, but it's just a tiny box. Thirty dollars to look at some objects was too much & left me disappointed.

The stadium area is small, but because there are many floors, the content is very rich.
There was a surprise on the door because there was a specimen of coelacanth! I didn t find out that there were museums with specimens of coelacanths in the world. However, with such a scarce number of fish, I m afraid that there are no more than single digits.
At the bottom of the floor are some California native biometrics. For example, a mountain lion with a number. However, for foreigners, they may not resonate.
However, some employees are very enthusiastic and professional. In the rat part, the staff volunteered to introduce my daughter to the habits of those live mice. Also talked to me about the psychological impact of captive animals.
Upstairs is a lot of North American native creatures. Some American bisons and bears, for example.
Interestingly, there is a dinosaur fossil on the next level. Its forelimbs are not forwards, but are backwards like the fins, and the bones are in the shape of giant knobs. To this end, I talked with the staff. The other side introduced several evolutionary models of conjecture, but also stressed that there was no conclusive conclusion.
In general, with regard to natural museums, there are many local animals and they are concentrated in North America and Los Angeles.
There is much to see, it takes more than a day to explore the whole place, I went to a special Pixar exhibition and it was a pleasant experience.

A must to visit in Los Angeles, a real science temple where you can discover a whole section of the American space conquest. Several spacecraft, spacecraft and spacecraft are on display, as well as a full NASA command center. Highlight of the Shuttle Endeavor show exhibited in full in one of the park's hangars. Many other scientific disciplines are exposed including botany with very interesting things to see and do.
A MUST if you are visiting LA - Space Shuttle Endeavour exhibit is a must see. The remainder of the museum has interesting exhibits about local history, geology, and science. Great for kids. Easy parking.

Great place to hang out and learn science. The staff are very helpful. I was there on a Wednesday and there were no lines. Saw the Body Worlds Pulses exhibit. Excellent!

Really awesome science center. So many displays and interactive displays. Hands down best feature was seeing the Space Shuttle Endeavour in person.
Educational, fun and the best museum in the greater Los Angeles area. It is the best place for kids to learn about our universe, and how NASA has created the space ships and tools needed to take humans above and beyond our solar system. There are many activities for the kids, and different exhibits to see for grown ups. Make sure to visit the endeavour shuttle you will be marvel!
