Went to this IMAX Theater for the recent airing of Game of Thrones and I loved every minute of it. The Theater is huge and can sit 100+. If you can get a seat in the middle section nothing is better and the sound is so crisp, it puts extra nerves when I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching Game of Thrones.

It s a feast for the eyes for sure. Lots of different exhibits and plenty to learn from. IMAX theater with knowledgeable movies is a plus. King Tut exhibit is on currently but they have rotating exhibits year round.

Loved the space shuttle experience but a lot of their side attractions need repair help or just plan upgrades and I know this it a kid place but the the teacher we saw with kids all ages where letting these kids misuse exhibits so it is no wonder why most of such a neat place looks trashed no respect love the imax always worth it

PERFECT place for family outing!!

PERFECT place for family outing!!

SUPER educational for the kids~ they can hands on to play with different kinds of games and learn something new at the same time. Even for adult, there are many new information that you can learn about.

The building is well maintained. It is clean. They have information center, gift shops, cafeteria, IMAX, etc. Family can spend hours in the California Science Center!!

I go here once in a while, since there exhibits only change periodically, but I love going there with my children because it's free for the permanent exhibits and it's great got kids with all the interactive sections.

The best science museum I've ever been to in my life! The perfect size and a fair traffic with inexpensive cost. My kids(10 and 13) just loved this place. A plenty of activities that you can spend the whole day with excitement. I was so glad that we've found this place.

So many things to see! Depending on what they might have at the time of your visit as a feature exhibit, some with hands-on experience and learning. My personal favorite is the area dedicated to space program. Bring your kids and be sure to see the Space shuttle that is an amazing experience just by itself

It was so nice. My son's school, CCOD Christian Academy went there to see The bodies exhibit. A lot of walking, but the kids really enjoyed it. Go to the food court and get the mint chip ice cream...only 1 scoop though, they're huge!

There are better Museums out there (Smithsonian) but still a good learning experience for the kids - not so much for adults. It's basically a Glorified version of the Discovery Cube Museum in Santa Ana for kids.

We're back for a second visit of the King Tut exhibit. It definitely is well worth the time spent. I recommend doing the imax as well as it's a great additional experience for a few extra dollars.

I love that most everything here is donation. I dislike high prices of most museums coupled with high parking prices. The food and drinks are also quite reasonable and tasty as well.

Be sure to walk the entire grounds as there are a lot of random items around: sr-71, fa-18 hornet, fuel tank for the shuttle, Rose garden etc.

Highly recommended

When I went to the California Science Center with my staff and my friend. We walked in and saw all the permanent exhibits. The bathrooms were cleaned and the staff were doing good customer service.

Pretty neat place, got to see the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit while it was being presented. Probably one of the highlights of my life, so much history in the relics and scrolls. Wonderful premises as well, gardens and grounds are very well taken care of.

Boring.

I work with kids and have been taking groups here for a while now. It's a great place to spend an afternoon, have fun, and maybe the kids or you will even learn something. Best of all it's free and if you go in the slower season you can get in go see The Endeavor for free with no lines as well.

We really love this place, perhaps more for the memories we have developed over the years than for the facility itself. That said, I think it is hard to find any place with free admission ($12 for parking, Endeavour is extra as is the Omnimax and some special displays) that is as cool as this museum. Great stuff for kids and adults.

The museum is amazing, super didactic, you will reappear with your inner child ... Although the museum is free, there is the possibility of leaving donations and I think it is worth making the effort, the site is worth it !! Travelers are also interesting. We liked it a lot

If you are a fan of ancient Egypt or Pharohs or King Tet, you have to catch the Speical Exhibit of King Tet (closing on Jan 13th 2019). In addition to some very interesting special exhibit (Body Work, etc.), there are also other temporary exhibits (Spaceship, etc.)

Another thing I highly recommend (especially when it's not too busy) is to get some ice cream and sit in the sun in the Rose Garden to enjoy it.
