Beautiful museum for children / teens, free, with some extra temporary events, for a fee. I recommend it to everyone, even to adults
Great place to take children and adults too. Many worth while exhibits and informative activities. Seeing the Space Shuttle was remarkable.
The worst museum experience in my life. The museum cannot cope with the amount of people that come here and they don't seem to care.
Body worlds was amazing! This museum always has the best exhibits :)
Good place to take the family if the budget is a little tight cool exhibits and plenty of hands on stuff
The fact that it's free admission is great, especially for those with large families. Lots of hands on activities, but some need to be updated - some things didn't work. We visited the Dog exhibit and it was cute, but smaller than expected and the Jepawdy trivia game wasn't working well (touchscreen issues). Overall, a good place to visit on a school free day or weekend.
The Hubble 3D IMAX was awesome, the Space Shuttle Endeavour was mesmerising
Great interactive experience for the kids. Makes learning fun
What an awesome experience! Everything is hands on, which is great when you have kids with you. They get to see how things work, get to touch sea animals in the shallows upstairs, they even have earthquake and hurricane simulators! A must visit, especially for children
Big and fun place for children and adults. The best thing about most of these exhibitions is that you can touch what you are looking at.
If you have kids and enjoy looking at science material then this will be a good place come with them.
The entrance is free. The parking is 12$ if you decide to use it. Interesting and funny exhibitions for kids. To visit again.
A museum for the family with small children! It was the absolute best way to spend a day in LA with a two year old. So much to entertain and excite her she was losing her mind from each room to the next. And to make it really worth the visit the admission was free.
Love this museum!! They have a space shuttle!! Exhibits are always a must see.
With children coming to Los Angeles, there are Space Shuttle Endeavour and Apollo spacecraft, Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft, which are not seen anywhere else. The design layout is very reasonable. For package tour, please contact WeChat LaMike99
Love love love this place. Went here for the King Tut exhibit. It was amazing, one thing I will say though is that they don't really have very good vegetarian options for their food and I would like to see more options for vegetarians instead of fried food it gave me a stomach ache. They do have salads but I'm just tired of the cliche salad fruit and vegetables that everybody seems to think all vegetarians eat. Not all vegetarians want raw fruit and vegetable that's fine on occasion but not all the time there are a lot of things that we can eat and in this day and age it would be nice to see someplace like the California Science Center accommodating that fact. All in all the exhibit was amazing beautiful breathtaking and I had a very good time here I would recommend it and I'll be back
Always a great experience. Just remember not to go when SC or the Rams are playing because it will be packed.
The $3 to see Endeavor is well worth it. Amazing experience!
Free admission, but plenty of upsell. Exhibits are really good though, so maybe bring some cash for the tornado simulators
The Tut exhibit wasn't impressive at all. This time they didn't even bring the burial masque. There were a couple other pieces that were missing that should have been there. At least if they wanted to impress anybody.
Great place to visit for free (or small donation). Great for the kids because there is much to explore and discover. But whatever you do dont miss touching the sea creatures like the starfish!
The exhibitions are very interesting and I especially liked the space part of the science center. They charge a small fee for the entrance to the Endeavor building, but that is definitely worth it.
Great place to see historic science artifacts and they have some cool interactive games.
Lots of great pavilions to explore and see. It's free too which makes it even better. A must if you have children under the age of 13 especially.
I went to the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit and to both IMAX movies and it was all very enjoyable. I described my experience to friends and they wished they could have gone. They live in another state so it wasn't possible. All in all an unforgettable experience.
Excellent place for the FAMILY.... good food good gift and plenty of fun for all
Haven't been for a while, so was interested to see the expanded exhibit space. Things have been moved around too. Very much a place for kids. Got to see the external fuel tank too. Dogs exhibit was great!
Great place for kids. Some exhibits cost money but they are totally worth it.
Went to the dog exihbit. It was a bit crowded but overall it was an enjoyable experience. A great place to bring the kids.
Lots of fun for kids. If you're trying to get out of the house for a few hours, come here
The children and I really enjoy ourselves each time we visit. Learn something new every time....
Impressive the bodyworld and shuttle expocision, although the other expocisions are very dated.
Went here to see space shuttle. Awesome. Grab IMAX show if you want to access shuttle regardless of arrival time.
Love the Science Center and Natural History Museum. Took Jordan students to view Tatoo display. Very cool.
The King Tut exhibit was fantastic! It was organized well and the plaques on the exhibits were very educational. While we waited for our exhibit time, we got to learn about the Endeavor space shuttle and got to see satellites, rockets, and early shuttle parts. We loved it!
Fantastic place to visit! Especially if you have young kids. I saw the old space shuttle they have there, it was amazing.
The exhibition on the human body is the best I've seen in a long time
This place is great for kids. The place is huge and there is enough interactive displays so that each kid has something to play with. It's close to the natural history museum so we tend to check out both places in one visit.
This is a great place to bring the family, friends, visitors, or to just explore by yourself. There are lots of fun games and rides for kids and adults of all ages. This place lets you learn while having fun. Take a look around, it's free to enter but parking costs about $12. Still, it's worth every penny and your time.
My kidz & in-laws visit dare school tripz. Me & Erick Sr. Luv it also.
Went to see the space exhibition and imax. It's a fun family place and they do a great job making it affordable and fun.
Crowded, high parking costs and meh food. That s not what I got out my family s trip there. The parking is $12 and they take debit. The museum it self is amazing and my boys loved it. The street food outside is to die for!
Nice experience, and visit California African American Museum. Super nice, and educational.
A lot of interesting exhibits for the kids to experiment with. However some of the exhibits are in need of a good upgrade in technology and informational shows.
It was good for science. See I learn about bodies, I learn the space on rocket, and I learn the rocks.
Definitely an awesome science center, couldn't believe it was free, with the exception of certain attractions. Still cool, my kids loved it. Will be returning soon.
