I absolutely love watching hockey games. At first it wasn't in my interest but now I seem to really like it.Theyre food is good to just a little on the expensive end but what can you expect it's a tourist place. Ive had the chance to go to their teddy bear tosses are a big it,I've been to two of them and was overall excited.

The aisles between each row of seats is too small. If your seats are in the middle of the row, the people sitting need to stand and it's a fairly awkward and sometimes dangerous journey just to sit. Also the chairs can also get uncomfortable if you're seated for an extensive period of time.

P.S. the ground is ridiculously sticky.

A treasure of Calgary. We go for the hockey. The nosebleed section sucks you cannot see most of the ice but the atmosphere rocks! Drinks are expensive but they serve more than 2 kinds. Lots of venders to choose from on all 4 levels...look forward to long lines and expensive everything...but a great expierence!

Doesn't matter what event you're doing here whether it's the hockey game or social event for an Agricultural, this place has stood the test of time. The food here is incredible it's by far the best place to eat drink Stampede and oftentimes your best bet to eat during a hockey game

Very unique stadium, but unfortunately this stadiums best days are behind it. From the long lines for washrooms, jam packed concourses, and constant stream of people going up the aisles to the upper deck, this arena is not very fan friendly. Decent once you're in your seat, as long as it's not the upper deck, that's about it

I Have had season tickets for years and now after the flood of 2013 I may have to give them up due to the fact that the new seats are so uncomfortable that I came home with a severe back ache. Weird part is that my seats are second tier row 2 and I don't know why they were replaced as the flood waters never reached that high. The new seats have higher backs which my shins press against on the seat in front of me also the seats themselves are shorter than the old ones and no longer have arm rests that can be folded up. They are a very cheaply made compromise. I believe that the seats from the second tier were used to replace the ones on the lower tier.

The Saddledome was built for the 88 Winter Olympics, and it very much shows its age.

The seats are uncomfortable, and green for some reason (which makes empty seats stand out like a sore thumb). The sight lines in the lower bowl are okay, but the second level is the place to be. Stay far far away from the 300s. At the top of the third tier air conditioning pipes will block most of the view of the ice.

Overall: The food vendors are lacking, drink selection is poor, the acoustics are just awful, and the building is very dated. Flames need to reno or rebuild this facility soon.

I had won a pair of free tickets to see Little Big Town in concert Saturday night. Don and I went and it was amazing with their musical genius, laser lights and smoke affect. Great night!! Saddledome was packed.

It's a cool facility; well loved for all the awesome events it's held. Also, who doesn't love the saddle shape of the building? There's lots of parking, the drop off zones are off of the main streets, so it's very easy; and the train is right close. Only negative is that it is definitely crowded inside. The hallways around the main concourse are extremely squishy during sold out events. The seating is tight in the upper levels, but not terrible; lower levels are decent. It's a dated facility now, but overall still very acceptable.
