Amazing stadium that definitely doesn't need to be...
Amazing stadium that definitely doesn't need to be replaced using public funds.

Old building, but a beaut! Food in the restaurant was surprisingly good too.
Great place prices are stupid for beer no wonder people smuggle liquor in but other then that well kept up.great place
Hard to give full stars after being at Rogers. Although, Rogers could learn from the Saddledome's soft serve ice cream.
Decent venue for a variety of events. I've attended concerts and trade shows, etc. Access is easy with LRT nearby and facility is well maintained.
Good flames games and concerts. Really love the C of red
Standard arena. In need of a new facility. But regardless you'll have a good time there
Calgary has such great fans it almost blows the roof off
Went to the Bryan Adams concert and it was amazing!!
Beautiful place to have lots of fun. Slightly outdated, however.
Generally a good view wherever you sit. Helpful and courteous security and staff
A little over priced and aged but it's one of the better places to go in town for concerts and other events
What a night! First time at the Saddledome. I didn't feel threatened or harassed. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The food was great. Get there early for happy hour and half price on food and drinks. Well worth it.
If you are looking for a great family event then consider a night at the Saddledome. Whether you attend a Flames game or Hitman game it's fun for the whole family! Lots of energy and fun!
Great team, great place, and great energy! Whenever I go to a game always we (Flames) end up lighting up the scoreboard!
My wife and I went to see the Eagles concert. It was amazing. Little pricey but worth it.
Parking is a fortune and a nightmare getting in and out of. Transit is about a 15 minute walk which is far from a delight in winter. The layout is OK, sometimes easy to find your seat, sometimes staff can't even help because it's so convoluted. Vendors are adequate. Seating is fine for games, but any event with a stage makes the side seats a huge rip off, they don't turn so you have to sit sideways in them, you'll be begging for the show to end. Good thing they cost a fortune! I'll definitely look at other venue events before the 1000 year old 'dome.
Below average. The halls are way to small for the amount of people. And the scoreboard is so small.
Went to see Kevin Hart there and was quite dissapointed. The show itself was great but the saddledome is terrible. Seats are super uncomfortable and it was a nightmare getting in! We felt like cattle! There is no dedicated lines, we had no idea where we were supposed to go to get in, the wait to get in was quite long, food and drinks were terrible and it was quite expensive (10$ for a small beer). It was a mess! We will not be going back. I expected something much better for the price we paid (230$ for 2 people just for our seats).
A good arena with good restaurants and souvenir shops
Go Flame Go. Saw our darling Calgary Flames against the Winnipeg hockey team. We won 2-0
Visited this arena as the last of three in a western Canada trip and it was my favorite. Friendly people, fun little fan shop, great food values, and a fantastic atmosphere. If I wasn't 3500+ kilometres away, I'd visit again.
Staff is really friendly! I had lost my wallet, and thankfully someone returned it to lost & found. The staff was amazing to deal with to get it back to me :)
Was in the nose bleeds, but still had a great time. Friendly people helped me find my seat.
They need to accommodate kush smokers asap, this place always smells like stinky weed every event I've been to this year
A tired venue for hockey and concerts. Acoustics are terrible, view from Press Level seating is pretty bad. There are no other options, but if you have the opportunity to see acts at a smaller venue, definitely do so!
Great place for concerts and sporting events, only gave it 3 stars because this building needs to be renovated or torn down and build a new modern stadium.
This is a good venue. Lots of parking at a reasonable price. Great place to see a concert. Why only 3 stars you ask? I recently went to see Iron Maiden. Great show however the ventilation system was completely turned off. It was like being in a giant sauna. When the lights were put on, you could see a foggy haze throughout the arena.
Come on guys, get your act together. I'm sure for your share of the ticket price you can splurge on air conditioning. I'm sure the band and their fans would appreciate it.
Was at the stadium tonight for the hockey game against St. Louis. Nice atmosphere. Great view from section 227. Loved it. Ushers were super friendly.
Went to the UFC fight, which was FANTASTIC! But they started a rule that didn't allow people to leave the building at all, and if you did, you weren't allowed back in. Being stuck with a bunch of smokers in the bathroom wasn't all that ideal, and I really don't blame them. It'd be pretty crappy to choose to either not get your money's worth, or not be able to smoke for 8 hours. Theres alot of people who chose both! There's probably a better way to deal with people coming and going, and this isn't one of them.
Old. Needs a major revamp. Plus the smoking sections are really close to the exits, so when its packed be expected to be inahling alot of second hand smoke.
Centrally located. Good selection pubs, food, drinks. Emergency medical services on site during events. Staff are well trained and professional.
Comfy seating, extremely helpful stewards/stewardesses.
Very loud, everyone was wearing red. There were dudes with sticks sliding on the ice. A+ would spend $25 on two beers again.
The Dome is old but still checks out!! It's likely the oldest rink in the NHL at this point, but I will say that every seat in the place is good. I have so many great memories in this building, and it will be I'm sure tough when it is eventually replaced. The location is central with really great access from transit and roads - one of the easier NHL rinks I've visited on that scale.
Building is showing its age. Sound is horrible. Staff friendly and efficient
Always a good time watching the Calgary Flames, food it good but service is a little slow. They should have good system down for the volume of traffic they do by now. But hey that's neither here nor there. The beer is cold, the fans are great and the team is the Best is the West
Who doesn't love the dome, tip though if you're getting a beer, wait until the first intermission
Had a tour of their ice rink and got a Calgary flame sweat shirt souvenir
This is a very old venue and it doesn't hold the number of ticket holders that concert promoters require for their acts to play at the venue. The acoustics
are horrible . To see most first tier acts you have to travel to Edmonton.
This dated facility could use a refresh. Need to leave the game to get food, bathroom, and drinks. Design is specific to the era, so don't have high expectations. Its cozy inside for sure, not really comparable to the modern facilities you see everywhere else. But, it's the atmosphere that makes the venue, so best to go when the home team is on a winning streak, or when people are excited to be there. Otherwise, bring a book and catch up on your reading.
I've been every year for 40 years this is the worst year I've ever been the lineups an hour and a quarter to get in I am never going again the BMO Centre had half the vendors I give it one star because I can't post this without giving it one
It's an ok place for concerts, acoustic on the place is good, on most of the shows you are not allowed to take photos
Not the biggest venue. Food is expensive. Loved the show!
Let's face it, this building is too old. I sure hope CalgaryNEXT gets approval.
There are not enough washrooms, though this is a common problem in arenas/stadiums.
The beer is too expensive!
Go Flames Go.
Great concert venue back years ago but time for a new arena
Needs an upgrade. But who cares about the stadium when the leafs are winning 6 to 2 lol I have, however, always received friendly service at the vendors and bars.
We watched the match between the Calgary Hitmen and the Edmonton team.
It was my kid's first Hockey Game. So we had lots of fun. You can get awesome pizzas here too.
Highly recommended if ice hockey is your thing. And please do support my favourite team. The Hitmen!!
