Fun place to go to watch hockey games! Good views from most seats. Decent food and drinks, but expensive. 4 dollars for a bottle of water is quite a bit

Well. It's a sports arena. There's not much to say. I love it
Go Flames Go. My favorite hockey arena, older, but with some history.
Had a blast at the Alumni dressing room experience. I would recommend it for any sports lover! The food was very good !
Dated building with overpriced beer. Food is from 30 years ago. Needs memoribilia more.
Lets get new stadium and sorry but mike smith needs to go. Go flames go.
Great atmosphere. Great event staff, very friendly. Jumbo Tron is great. Food is good. Prices, expensive. Sound for concerts and sporting events is great.
What a fun time. Food was great. Service was fairly quick
It has an easy access in the hallways get to your seat quicker and leaving the venue too. I been here three times and liked the experience on the venue.
Amazing good seats: 213 row 15. Easy to get there by Ueber and Ctrain. As somebody from Europe: do not buy the beers! Overpriced and nasty taste.... Pizza73: greasy. The hotdogs from stand near 213: out of this world tasty.
Super friendly and helpful staff, and the seats are very comfortable for an arena
It s old, dirty and outdated. The fact that we are one of the richest city s on the planet and this is the best we can do in terms of a stadium for our countries favourite sport is embarrassing. We should have a little civic pride and not let this place be a landmark in the city.
Every seat has a decent veiw if the ice. Or a TV so you can always catch the play. Long lines and prices are seat to the stadium. But I have always had a fantastic time here.
This is a neat looking building but is possibly the worst NHL arena operating today.
We were at the Saddledome for the Jim Gaffigan show. Seats were great as was the show ... Jim is hilarious. They have improved on the availability of food whing is nice but the prices are ridiculous.
Always a treat tti go watch the flames or roughnecks!
Wouldn't let me keep my water. Confiscated my pocket camera. Won't be coming back here.
Decent layout, not many bad seats. Otherwise, much like any arena.
The building is not built for function or purpose- elevators are hard to find, staff are always oblivious and unfriendly. Foods overpriced, the stadium is overdo for repairs or demolition. It's seats are warn out and the size is no longer attracting concerts and shows because it's lack of size.
Downside: so many restrictions and rules- cameras are banned.
Upside: windows on the Northside offer views of the city skyline.
Bean there once and enjoy the hockey game very much recommend this place to everyone
First time to Scotiabank Saddledome awesome experience
What a run-down box of rusty nails. I can't believe the Flames haven't done anything to spruce up the place. Did they know they can renovate things? I think they didn't want to so they can push the city into laying for a new arena.
Anyhow, the entertainment value of watching a Flames game there is so low. Not worth it. Travel up HWY 2 and watch the Oilers. It is a better facility and way better fan experience.
It is very nice new comfortable seats I really enjoy concerts staff is very helpful and very polit I highly recommend coming here for concerts launch I've never been here for a hockey game my team does not play here often
Sat very close to the ice an it was amazing. Stadium was also very easy to get to by city's ctrain.
Staff are always helpful and it s easy to get to the game, into your seats. Food and beverages are a bit expensive but what arena isn t. Glad to have access to this facility in our city.
Go Flames! The building is old as dirt but I love it.
Excellent stadium but went for flames game and they won so everything was wonderful!! Lol. Arena is a bit long in the tooth and small but concessions were good. Alot of lineups for everything including bathrooms. Arrived on LRT and appreciated the covered walkway to arena.
Very good stadium, but a bit confusing to find your seat
Always a great place when the flames are winning!!!
Hockey... Hockey... Hockey.
It'll be sad to see this arena go. It is very much a part of the Calgary skyline as well and more importantly part of hockey in Canada.
I remember as a kid, not caring as much about hockey then, but when the game was over in the east and it was dark. They switched over to the western game, when it was in Calgary... they would cut to the city skyline. Watching the sun set over the mountains, husky tower, then theres the Saddledome... Silhouetted in the background.... those memories bring out the kid in me. Gonna miss ya!
Could definitely use some updates, the place is showing its age. Even when paying with a credit you still have to swipe and sign for your credit card instead of tap or pin. My buddy's magnetic strip was just a little worn out, as they easily do and he had to go to the bank first just so he could have a few drinks.
The current home of the Calgary Flames and the Calgary Hitmen. This arena has an interesting style to it. Since it was built in the 80's it is getting on in age. They do keep in nice and updated. During Flames' games the food is quite expensive and it is recommended you eat before you get there. Although there is some nice restaurants in the building. Really easy access from the C-Train and there is a good amount of parking, though parking is quite steep in price too.
Kids lovd going yo hockey games... We were they Jan 1 for hockey game!!!
facility is getting old and dated. And the Flames seem determined to suck this year....
It is a great place to watch the Calgary flames,Calgary hitman and Calgary roughnecks game
Came for a Calgary flames hockey game. Good times.
The Saddledome is getting really old now, but its still part of Calgary's classic heritage. Despite the fact that its been around for a long time, its still been well maintained, clean and overall, well taken care of. The staff here are all friendly, despite how busy they can get during hockey games, concerts and especially during Stampede season. Lots of memories here, and will always be home to my first hockey game and first concert.
Fun night at the Hitmen game. Good value for taking the whole family. Appreciated the extra fireworks display for Lunar New Year after the game too. Well done.
Bathroom lines are terrible. Difficult to move around during intermission. Most of this can be forgiven if the content of the event is good.
Staff very freindly and helpful my wife and i had a blast at the hockey game.
The dome was built for the Calgary Olympics and it is really getting dated. The halls get really crowded and it can be difficult to find some seats but there's usually some service person around to help you out if need be. Bathrooms also get very crowded during intermissions so one's usually forced to forgo part of the game when it's time to go. Calgary needs a new arena but not bad enough to make it happen anytime soon.
It was great but the snacks inside are so expensive but the experience is worth it. #flames
A great place for events! Home of the Calgary flames.
Leave extra time for parking, no matter your reason for visiting.
Good place to go to games. Good atmosphere and enjoyable.
Kinda old, but I was at the top row and i could see the game perfectly ,sad that the Flames lost in that ocassion.
Getting old and run down. But still good for concerts. Hockey tickets are to expensive so won't go to a game
This was an amazing experience. First time here but loved it very big, well cleaned and lots to do. Fair prices for merchandise and food and beverages. Had a great time and will be back again
Great place for vintage arena game.Great staff great crowd.Number 12 on the tour a loss get next time
I was just at the April 12, 2019 Calgary Roughnecks game. First off, congratulations to the team for a hard fought victory. I only wish I could see more of it. The reason I did not see more was because of choices made by the Saddledome with regards to sales during the game.
I have a tradition, at around half time I go to grab a twist ice cream from the nearest vendor. This normally takes about 5 minutes and I will maybe miss the first minute of the 3rd. I noticed immediately that something was wrong when I got to a huge line at the first Ice Cream shop. I waited for about 5 minutes then I overheard that a machine wasn't working. I figured this was a malfunction so I moved to the next one.
The same lineup greeted me there and then I heard that they were possibly out, so I moved on. My plan was to grab a beer instead and see if I could find something else. Instead, I found a lineup that was a little smaller, but as I stood in line I noticed that we were not moving and that the crew were having issues. It turns out that the machines were not properly working and this was because of the Flames Playoffs and a decision to not have all machines working for the Roughnecks game nor to advise customers.
I am happy the Flames made the playoffs, but you're messing with the fans of one of your other franchises. I'm a multi-year season ticket holder and have friends who are the same. I am going to be refraining from purchasing anything from the saddledome and advising all of my friends and nearby ticket holders to do the same. I will still get tickets because I love the team and wish to support them.
Been to the some for various concerts, sporting events and other events like car shows etc. Iconic aging building, audio is negatively affected by the shape of the buildings ceiling otherwise I'd give it a 5 star rating.
Always a great time down at the dome, pocket dawg was the food highlight.
Great for games... Food is mediocre and drinks are overpriced (alcoholic and non alcoholic)
The talk of a new arena makes me under appreciate what this building has to offer .
Decent stadium but old and run down. Tickets are too much
Really wonderful vibe in the building - there is nothing like playoff hockey!! Great staff and service
I paid $15 to park for my event. There are employees directing people to park, but absolute zero order to leave. Why are 15000 people trapped on the Stampede grounds for 30 minutes after the show? Why are there no employees to direct traffic out? How about some lane changes to facilitate exiting? The event was great but the lack of organization for traffic really spited the experience. And don t say use transit . You have provided parking spaces, charged for the privilege, please employ someone to make it work.
Such a fun place. Cold beer. Good music. We had a blast.
It is a small venue compared to other hockey arenas in North America, but it is kept in pretty good shape. Lots of concessions and if you are not sitting close to the ice, the screens are bug enough to see all the action.
Usually kept pretty clean. The food is too expensive like you would expect. Events are fairly organized and run well. The walk from the C-Train to the Saddledome is crummy in the winter though.
The ambiance was great. Loved the game.
Seats were not that comfortable and no space for people to pass infront of you.
Great match flames vs Sabres. unfortunately flames lost
Best ever convert. PENTATONIX are the greatest ever
Cool place and nice design. Home of the Calgary flames. And home to many concerts and sports events like UFC. Right next to a park and nice river view, just cross the bridge in the back.
Sure it s an aging barn but great atmosphere for a hockey game.
