We had a fun time but it's overpriced and overcrowded. The factory machines aren't in action at all and it's hard to see and hear a lot of the exhibits.
I'd recommend instead going into the free shop there for the chocolate and then playing on the awesome free outdoor playground.

Excellent place to visit with kids of all ages. Only thing I will say is that the timings of the tours are too close to one another so some parts seem a little rushed. I also ate way too much chocolate lol

It was gr8 and also very entertaining for kids. As a day out holiday this is a wonderful place to visit. At one point they even give u small cups of Cadburys melted chocolate and the kids were getting so many tubs that we couldn't carry them all!

Yeah, eeverything are make in chocolate, but when you go inside the make chocolate, you can't eat it, BTW, in this place, it is good for child and old people, you better book before a 1 week to go, again, if you have any question, Plz ask me.

Lovely place for kids and family could give a little more treats away and could do with more staff getting dressed up like the movie Charlie choc factory just to make it for the kids but 4d movie was great just not long enough after waiting I thought it might have been a little longer just got in to it when it had finished such a same as kids thought that was great but over all very good

I was disappointed....far far too busy during the Christmas period & gutted to see absolutely no chocolate being made what so ever.....saw some chocolate teapots & shoes decorated but overall poor family day out for the cost. The 4D cinema is fantastic but only last 5mins!

Took the kids for a Christmas outing to the lovely village of Bournville, built by the Cadbury brothers. So an afternoon at Cadbury World seemed fitting. I was pretty disappointed as I'd been as a kid and remembered seeing some of the More

Easy to get to Cadbury World, with instructions on the Website not to go via the M6 a real help. Good Parking, and timed entry tickets. Just one criticism - Queue at entry would be drastically reduced if the point where tickets are scanned was not used for selling bags etc, If they were to move the ticket scanning point forward by a few feet, and had a separate point beyond for selling, the flow of people through to the entry point would be quicker.

Went here today with my 4 year old. We had the character breakfast, well worth the extra few pounds. We thoroughly enjoyed all Cadbury world had to offer. The history, the shows, the car ride, there were glitter tattoos and face paint, photo opportunities, plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the place. After was a gift shop that to my surprise wasn't very expensive. Really good value. We went outside to a 4D movie, a character show and 3 playgrounds. I would bring a picnic as food was a little pricey but otherwise a really good day. We spent about 4 hours here.

Really enjoyed the experience. Lots to see and do. The only reason I've given 4 stars (but really should be 4.5) is that there was a lot of renovations going on (which I know these things have to happen). Would love to visit again when renovations completed. However had a lovely time, lots to see and do.

What a waste of time and money.

What a waste of time and money.
I took my 5 year old daughter to Cadbury's world tour she was so bored with everything and so was I. I was so disappointed with the videos try and make it fun after all it's a chocolate factory.

To expensive just to look around in cadbury world because they dont have much existing for kids just free chocolate bar. I am recommend if you got young kids 8+ like me so bored for them

Was not what I expected hardly give any chocolate to eat as tasters jus one tiny plastic cup, what your paying for I don't Know especially with kids sitting down and listening to how it Al started in small theater room is pretty boring for the kids the train would have bin only decent thing about it but was a massive que which seemed like it would take a hour to get on and with three kids that's way too much to wait just a waste of money as your just buying things in the shop at the end which is not exactly cheap will not be visiting again

Always a mixed bag here. Kids love it, great displays and plenty to do, but an expensive day out. Food is very expensive so try popping into Bournville village for a bit to eat instead?! Parking is free though which is grand

Loved the shop but found the cafe expensive without being anything special. The exhibition feels very tired and old fashioned with some elements that are dubious, bordering on racist (looking at you singing Coco beans or the African playground with totem poles). I'm sure the story of chocolate could be told without relying on colonial stereotypes. Where you used to be able to see part of the production they seem to realise they've lost a big part of the attraction but don't know what to do instead. There are signs claiming that something new is coming but nothing to say what it might be. The demonstration area is anti-climactic, I got the feeling there used to be more to it than there is now. We had a nice family time but that was despite the attraction I think. Mind you, the shop was well worth a visit.

Not worth the money. Didn't even get to see any of the factory the small packaging plant that you used to get to see have been moved to another part of the factory. This means you have a half mile walk down corridors were windows used to be now its just boarded up and what was there was just made up of cinemas and a ride that felt like i was in the head of someone on LSD.
Funny how its gone down hill since it was sold.
SORT IT OUT MONZEL.

Wow what a place! If your a chocolate freak then GO! If not still go you may convert lol. Full of everything about chocolate History and Cadbury, nice relaxed atmosphere no rushing around go at your own pace. We loved it.

Not as good as we expected. Wife and I took kids last weekend and it was a bit of a disappointment. Not much activities for the kids and to us adults, the entire tour was a bit too boring. Place definitely needs updating. Waiting time and standing with the crowd, all the hassle is not really worth it. Kids enjoyed their take home chocolates at least! Which is a bit too pricey compared to regular price outside. Overall, sadly won't be coming back again unless new things are added.

When the title of the attraction has "World" in it I was expecting a more spacious experience than it actually was.You are filtered through different sections describing the origins and manufacturing of chocolate. It was a fairly enjoyable experience but not worth money. The best thing was the 4 D ride, a colourful stationary ride that immerses you on a rollercoaster adventure....but even that was too short in my opinion.

There's a lot for kids to see & do but there's hardly any of the original chocolate factory production line. You used to be able to see conveyer belts of chocolate going into machines & see how they were made but sadly that's all gone now. Instead there's a dressing up photo booth which I find rather sad & it's not something my children were interested in, especially my child with special needs who hates having attention drawn to him. If I visit a chocolate factory, I want to see how a chocolate factory works. I feel Cadbury World would be much better if they went back to basics & showed the actual workings of the factory - that's what makes it interesting, not photo booths & rides. The 4D cinema was good but other than that it was fairly disappointing. Sad for such a famous British institution.

Turned up and it's fully booked all day! No tickets kept for on-the-day visitors at all. Didn't cross my mind that we needed to pre-book.

Since we'd made the journey (thankfully not too far out of our way), we decided to have a drink in the cafe. On the way in, saw the ads for chocolate muffins and thought they looked good. However, there were none to be seen! Once we worked out the extremely confusing restaurant vs cafe system, we managed to get the last two slices of very tasty rocky road.

Bottom line, don't even bother if you haven't pre-booked! And take your own reusable coffee cup because they use disposables, regardless of whether or not you're sitting in.
