It was ok, too expensive for what it was. You get to see little of the factory or the history and them actually making the chocolate bars. Theres some fancy decorative chocolate making, but the rest is a lame theme park with poor rides, and a few anthropomorphised cacow bean characters. The only redeeming feature was the 4d cinema, which saved this review from a one star. But overall -overpriced and trite. Maybe kids might like it... however as an adult without kids, the last thing I want to do be hearded down long corridors, standing in endless queues listening to children screaming and crying, while their mothers berate them...

As an adult who loves chocolate I went on my own while visiting Birmingham.
It s clearly aimed only at young children.
I would like to have seen more information about the factory and the process of making chocolate.

Great day out for all the family, enjoyed learning about the history of Cadburys chocolate with plenty to explore would highly recommend. Little shop in the bournville part with all the days gone chocolates was nice to see.

Overpriced and poorly organised. We were very disappointed with the lack of things to do and even though you pre-book tickets you still have to wait a long time in the queues. Also the shop is more expensive than buying chocolate from the local supermarket

Very poor experience & won't be returning any time soon as our group had special needs so were not meant to queue for the Cadbury experience tour but our group were made to queue for nearly 1 hour by which time our children were highly agitated & upset, just not good enough Cadbury!!!!!!!! I also thought that the whole day was very disorganised too as none of us knew where or what we were meant to be doing up until the Cadbury experience tour, I realise it's not all an actual tour with a guide but a staff member could have at least given the public an example time guide in a leaflet or something!!!.

Very good . The free bars of chocolate we're a bonus . !! The story of Cadbury was told very well . I would say that the Bournville site was lacking in signs. We had a limited time there being with a coach party and would have appreciated a few signs directing us to the places of interest as it is not just about the manufacture of chocolate it's about the whole area.

Great day out with kids. Don't get as much chocolates as they used to give around 15years ago! But a very fun experience. Good idea to get there early to avoid a lot of the queues. Fun playground too. 4D cinema was really good.

Great 4 hours with kids of 4 and 7. Both loved seeing how chocolate was made and writing there name in it. Lots of interactive parts throughout the tour and an amazing 4d cinema experience as well. Great outdoor play frame.

I was here today with my elderly parents and my sister. The service on arrival was outstanding. The staff were very observant in offering a wheelchair for my dad and making us aware of various parts of the tour that may be a struggle for him. All staff around the tour were really helpful with organising the lift ready for us to go up and down levels. As well as entry points to and from the venues.

The tour was fascinating and none of us had ever been before, so we all loved it.

Our expectations were smashed with the 4D cinema and hologram displays. Amazing! For 4 grown adults to be so amazed, my sister and I are definitely coming back with her children too.

What a fantastic day out!

Fun place for children. They give you free chocolate when you go in, then give you more chocolate half way through them again more free chocolate. Kids loved the 4D experience but it is set up outside in the backyard so we almost missed it. It was the highlight of the whole experience so make sure you ask where it is because it s included in your ticket price

Great for kids with the focus on chocolate and entertainment. Less impressed from an adult perspective although a few interesting snippets of info about the history of chocolate production. Bournville is an interesting and attractive olde world place and the locals invariably polite and friendly. Pizza with 4 portions of chips and 4 coca colas an eyewatering 30 quid but otherwise fair value for money

Some parts really interesting and fun. Recommend the 4D video, Cadburys Bornville story and parts of the main exhibition. Don't recommend waiting for the Acraba ride. Kids thought that was the worst part.

What can I say I m a chocoholic and this as like heaven to me!! Been twice now last time was 4 weeks ago we had melted chocolate, chocolates, a tour through the history of chocolate and Cadbury which I found fascinating. Plenty to keep the kids amused with rides and shows etc and they even do a character lunch which I would love to try next time as plan to take my niece next year for her birthday. (Took my nephew this last time) highly recommend

Cadbury world is a really fun day out. Lots of activities, surpsingly interesting section on the history of Aztec and Mayan recipes, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Afternoon tea in the cafe was worth the extra money. I would visit again!

Really enjoyed the day out, looses 1 star because we had to queue for 20 mins to get in despite having timed entry & there is one ride the kids would probably of loved but that had a 30min queue which is just unmanageable with 4 kids under 5.
We should of allowed more time to visit the play park & pantomime. Will visit again in a few years but allow more like 5-6 hours for lunch, queuing and a good play in the park afterwards. The bag drop and close proximity to bournville station (15 min walk with young kids) makes it easy to get to.

I've been here a few times over 10 years and it never changes, it needs updating to keep drawing a crowd in. The actual factory exhibition area where you can see the chocolate packing and machines was not running. There were signs up apologising and "free" chocolate but as far as I know they've always given free chocolate on the way into the exhibition. It's not bad place but quite over priced

Had gone with my little one around start of november. Half of the site is always closed or under renovation. Since the factory section is closed. There is not much to see and yet the ticket prices are so high. Also they should stop giving CURLY WURLY out as FREE chocolates, it is by far the worst chocolate. There are better ones to give away. NO value for money. The chocolate are not even that dear as the entrance tickets are yet only one helping of the liquid chocolate is offered.

There's a lot to see here - interesting section showing history of chocolate and the company, walk round the factory where you can watch staff making and packaging chocolates (where you get a small cup of free chocolate!), then there's the 4d cinema and a fairly massive outdoor play area. Not somewhere you'd want to go on a regular basis though.

Today we went to cadburys world and we had a good day the ques was quite short and the tours was good... But however when we visited the gift shop we was expecting more of a selection of different chocolates that are not on the shelfs in supermarkets such as Morrisons or asda or even your corner shop the prices would still be cheaper in a supermarket also, - I think a wider selection of past chocolate would have been a really nice touch and added to that experience of cadburys world!

Such an inspirational place, a family business who wanted to create a community and they did it spectacularly. Interesting how they make the chocolate, didn't care much for the free choc, but a good day out
