We all enjoyed our tour around Cadbury world but our experience in the cafe was not so good whilst we had a refund for a meal that never turned up the excuse we were given was inexcusable as place was not busy plenty of staff to hand but nobody seemed to know what they were doing

What more do u want more when u r going in a chocolate factory ! If u are in Birmingham then DO NOT miss Cadbury world .. Would give zero but can't... confusing queues, boring introduction, not at all entertaining chocolate making/viewing experience, the only fun my kids had was the outdoor play area, and I could've done that for free had I known before

Great day out for all the family, something for everyone. Very clean even the toilets. Staff are continually spray antibac and cleaning every area down. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great day out

Was quite good but very little ability to actually see any of the manufacturing of chocolate. Some of the tour was shut which probably accounts for this but don't expect a factory tour, it's more of a tourist attraction based on Cadbury. You do however get some "free" bars of chocolate (ie included in the entry price).

I have been here previously and found this recent trip disappointing. Maybe I was hoping for more but you don t see anything of the factory or actual chocolate making, this is really just and experience centre with a walk through history. A small chocolate tasting then your put in the shop to buy chocolate, at no discount the the supermarket prices. Not sure what we paid to go in but I hope it ease the too much!!

Great family day out. We went as a family of 5. Two adults. 3 kids, 11, 10 and 7 years old.
I think I enjoyed it most! But great activities for all ages. Great to get involved with everything on offer! The 4d cinema was fab!

Great!

Bit disapointed as part of the factory viewing has been moved so not able to watch the chocolate being made and packed.

Very informative information at start.
Plenty of freebie chocolate on way round.
Well stocked shop
Ideal family day out

Although the tour was good, street signs are a must from the main roads to get to where the factory is. GPS takes you to a nearby West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre. There was only a brown sign further up the road just behind the left turn and the trees.

Nice

Going down to Cadbury World, we did not know what to expect. We had been given so much advice good and bad but having spent the full day down there, my Wife and myself, could not give anything but praise. What a wonderful day we had.
Congratulations Cadbury World. Here's to the next time.

It is often very busy with only advance booking securing entry (get tickets via website). Interesting look at the history of chocolate making. Disappointingly you can no longer go into the actual chocolate factory. The cafe and shop also seem a bit overpriced. Cheaper to buy cadburys chocolate from a local supermarket!

Cadbury World has lost its sparkle. Nothing new added and what was there needs a little TLC. Staff seemed to be bored and tired. Water and food finished midday despite warm weather and a lots of chocolate. Our last visit I believe. Sad, really, as Cadbury left such a great legacy as an employee friendly business. Something worth celebrating.

Brilliant time there great tour plenty of history plus something of interest for everyone of all ages. Had afternoon tea after tour finished the day off in style. Very polite and helpful staff.

We came here around 10 years and the experience was very different. This time around there was no guide and the free chocolates were sparse and a bit, well, terrible. Even though we were told to buy the official bags for "all the free chocolates", I think we only got 3 bars each. The kids were dissapointed.

We visited on 3rd August. Very well organised with Covid measures in place. Our 10 and 8 year old loved it, lots of different activities following a designated route. Would happily visit again!

Tour was very short as they have closed the upper floor to the Public. Only was given 3 Bars free, however the last time we went we had at least 8 each. The 4D cinema was great but very short. Luckily we had no queue time but we did arrived 3 hrs before our allocated slot

Suitable for all of the Family. the children enjoyed the educational side as well as the ride inside, the play area outdoors. We took photographs together on a green screen and were able to print them at the shop. The children liked eating melted chocolate inside the part of the factory we viewed. The indoor cinema experience was popular with all of the family. It was interactive at one point water splashed on some audience members which the kids found funny the seats also moved. good family fun day out.

Enjoyable day. Bournville experience was a little dissappointing. The cadbury world tour was excellent as was the 4d experience. The main let down was the restaurant. My wife ordered a veggie burger but received a meat burger. it was replaced but my wife had to eat it after we had all finished. Then our dessert took about 20 minutes and the three scoops of ice cream started off as one. Again rectified but service disappointing.

Good family day out 3 free bars of chocolate eat at the beginning of the tour which was a nice treat. Good information day about the history of cadburys and Bournville village, some good iterative displays and activities for the children and a fab shop at the end. We when just before lockdown 2 came in and felt very covid secure limited number so no queues and lots of sanitiser for you to use.

The 4d cinema is very good even for adults. Trippy! Been here quite a few times so the main tour is somewhat dull. Nothing new except for less generous with chocolate as you walk round. I will most likely be back as it's a good day out for the kids.

I don't think it was worth driving 3 hours to get there but ok if you live locally or have other things planned to do in Birmingham. The experience was not bad, it is just about chocolate so wouldn't expect more really, however a bit too expensive for what you get.

Great experience. Took us a few hours to go from start to finish. There are stages were you sit down and listen to the history of Cadbury s which was very informative. They had a face painting station set up, which was great for the kids. They do chocolate demonstrations and even a small ride. Not to mention you get free chocolate throughout and the shop at the end sell endless amounts of chocolate for a very reasonable price.

Place is just ok. No need to spend too much if you are living far away. Tickets are not cheap. 18 pound per adult. Telling cadbury chocolate history which is really boring. 10 minutes of 4D cinema experience is good only.
