The reception staff did not inform me that they no longer bulk bill. I will not be going back

I cannot fault Core Medical in Port Kennedy. The staff are efficient, the doctors exceptional, waiting times are minimal and you never feel rushed when you do sit with the doctor.In Tasmania I waited over 2 hours to see a bulk bill doctor and was disappointed by his offhand attitude. I for one am extremely grateful to live close to a high quality bulk billing facility.THANK YOU CORE MEDICAL.

A week after the doctor tok me off my blood pressure tablets,my blood pressure isback up to 150 over 90.I didnt ask or want to comeoff them,soI tried tosee a doctor this morning,butwastold that Wednesday was the eariest appointment I could get.I wasbooked as a walk in,but after waiting 45minutes,with no one else waiting at times,I walked out.Bad service.I will go elsewhere.

Waited an hour and a half this morning as a walk in which I did not mind doing as a walk in, but a man and his wife walked in after me and they have long gone and seen!! At one stage I was the only patient in the waiting room and the one receptionist even comment on how quiet is gone but still an hour later I was still waiting!!! Lady that work there but not on duty today came with her mother as a walk in and said they said she could go straight through. All I ask is fairness I don't mind waiting but be consistent with everyone that come in. I walked out crying felt so sick but nobody has time to attend to me. Vanessa van Rooyen

The receptionists seem unequipped and unprofessional and now that they charge it just gets me riled up. Also as I have repeat scripts I get on a regular basis I really think $34 for one of these very short consults is too high?!

Had my appointment cancelled without being notified, incompetent receptionist proceeded to tell me I had called her to change my skin check to the next week on Tuesday. For one, I wasn t there for a skin check, two, I work Tuesday s, and three, why on earth would I turn up to an appointment on my 1 day off, with a young toddler in tow if I had apparently changed the day and time?! No one wanted to take responsibility for their actions!! Absolute joke, don t recommend!!

I have a Chronic illness and a complex history, most Drs cant wait to put me in the "too hard basket" and handball me on. Went searching for a new Dr to get a second opinion. Much to my surprise and relief, I was treated with empathy, found one who has some knowledge on my illness and medication (thanks to a personal recommendation) and was listened to. I feel confident that I have found a Dr that will work with me on my ongoing health issues.

I have been to Dr McDonnell since before he opened this surgery always found him to be good until recently trying to get a script for meds that he put me on, rang on the 17th then the the 20th then on the 24th and have not heard a thing, I can't get in to see him for 3 weeks that's why I need the scripts .when I ring and speak to the receptionist they say it's out of our hands , once we have emailed him he would have read them so of this is true and he has read them why is he not contacting me or if he's busy at least getting the receptionist to contact me to at least let know why he's leaving me to suffer this is so out of character can't see another doctor because they can't all prescribe this type of medication the receptionist told me .This is unbeleivable!!

Front counter staff are lovely. Came for a walk in appt with my daughter quite unwell. After a 1 hour wait we still havent been seen. I understand patients with booked appointments come first, however several doctors waiting on their patients to arrive and just not taking walk ins through. We were one of 2 walk ins, first one was seen in minutes. We ve been waiting 45 minutes.
Not good enough.

Always great service and doctors run on time. Receptionist go out of their way to assist plus well trained UK doctors.

I saw KC the Pysiotherapist today for the first time and as someone with a medical background I thought I knew what i was to expect but KC went beyond what i expected and is very thorough at getting to cause of the pain not just dealing with the pain directly .. and yes he has pointy elbows just ask my piriformis .. very very happy and I look forward to my next appointment.

Really nice, clean modern surgery located within the very nice and quiet Port Kennedy shopping centre on Chelmsford Avenue.
Has some English doctors, always a bonus. Lady doctor went out of her way to help me. Bulk billed too.

I had a horrible experience with dr munro. Horrible bedside manner, condescending, and seems to have little to no understanding on how to respectfully conduct an appointment with a vulnerable Patient.
He told me life doesn t work like that instead of providing an explanation as to why he wouldn t write me a referral.
I walked out in tears.
Not going back there again!

Great surgery, reception staff are helpful and friend, and Dr Paul Ellis is amazing. I have referred family and friends to Dr Paul and they are pleased with him too.

Decided to go as to this medical centre as my doc was booked out for 2weeks and I had an infection.
Receptionist were really rude.
The doctor I saw was even ruder... Literally said to me " so what do you want me to do with it.?"
Ummm, you're the doctor!!!

I will never go back to this doctors surgery.
From observation in the waiting room... If you're NOT bulk bill you are treated Alot nicer.

drove half an hour there to pick up my care plan which was already meant to be printed out, i got home and she had given me a completely different persons care plan. said that she couldn t email me mine when i called and that i had to drive all the way back.

Outstanding staff, it's a pleasure to deal with them, they are so helpful, the Doctors are Legends in there own right, Thank you for being there for all

Always good service here. I have never waited over 10 minutes to be seen with an appointment booked. Lovely reception staff and good doctors.

Receptionists couldnt find their way out of a paper bag if they tried. Rude. Unprofessional. Unwilling to assist patients with simple requests. Now that this centre charges, a better level of service is expected. Although common courtesy should be free.

First time going there today lovely staff &Doctor's Didn't have to wait long at all will be going back!!!!

Reception staff are very friendly, and the 2 doctors I have seen myself and taken my son to see we're extremely caring and helpful. Very happy.

I love love LOVE Dr Abd Rahim, I always book him when I can for my children he is amazing with them very thorough, keeps me well informed and asks all the important questions. He genuinely cares about them making sure they're healthy and well which as a parent is the best thing I could get from a Doctor.
