Went to a see a Jazz concert and was so impressed with the venue. The parking is easy and plentiful. The theatre itself is well designed and every seat has a good view of the stage. Lighting was top notch and the acoustics are great. Appreciated the snack bar and the choice of drinks available.
First visit to this theatre. The atmosphere is great although I must say the theatre seats are hard and uncomfortable.
It's good venue for being close to the entertainment...nice!
I have preformed and witnessed shows here and there are always great
Nice performance arts centre large stage looks like every seat in the house offers a great view
Great venue. Close to restaurants. Lots of available parking. Helpful staff. Watched Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Great experience
Beautiful new building with interesting architecture
As old as this facility is, they have done a great job of keeping it look fresh.
Such a gem - hidden away in West Van... can't wait to get through COVID-19 and back to experiencing the Arts with friends again.
I saw Misery at this small but charming venue. I was impressed with the amount of scene changes on such a small stage - props to the Props Master
An excellent, comfortable, well run, mid sized theatre.
I was in this place for couple of Iranian events and in the last one which was a week ago, there was a problem with the air conditioner or they forgot to turn on the AC and it was really warm and hot . Rather than this issue it is a good place with ample street parking spots to enjoy watching the events.
Enjoyed performances facilities and pleasant surroundings.
We came to see and hear a series of dance productions with music by Micheal Conway-baker in the excellent facilities.
Nice place but bizarre liquor laws. Need to join the 20th century here. Not sure why private property and private venues are so heavily regulated by the outdated BC legislation.
Been here for a small concert. Great venue, nice employees. Acoustic is not one of the best but still you can enjoy the show.
Good size and great acoustics. They had the air conditioning on at just the right level for the audience to be comfortable.
Well, it's a beautiful theatre. However the staff seem to be quite hostile in a way to all the students at the connecting high school. Kay Meek had it put in the high school so kids could enjoy it. The school only has access to it 12 days a year. So it sits empty 9/10 days. It would be nice to be able to see more performances for such a nice theatre.
Wonderful facility featuring performance art events: theatre, ballet, classical and contemprary music, dance, movies, standup comedy, etc. There is a great hall and a smaller venue downstairs. There is free parking and a bar for having refreshments during intermission.
The play was excellent but it is the most uncomfortable place to sit.
Not a bad seat in the place. Very comfortable too.
The KMC is a wonderful place to catch a play, listen to music and other cultural events.
Very small stage. Audience seats are moderately uncomfortable. Sad warm up and green rooms.
A pleasant theatre though sadly it's in an awkward location away from everything else in West Vancouver that makes it awkward to get to by foot, bike or transit. Gotta be a person with a car to get there.
Not the most comfortable seating, good concessions, charming staff
Small theater. Great for concerts. Every seat is a good seat.
Very nice facility, first time there, went to see the movie The Wife.
If parking were better then 5*! What a great venue for any kind of event from Kindergarten class show to a TEDx talk.
A small and tidy performing arts facility abutting a high school on a leafy street halfway up the slopes of West Vancouver. We attended a chamber music concert in the Grosvenor auditorium, which must seat 320 or so. Small concessionnary in the lobby offers wine, beer, water and snacks. Lots of stairs as the center's small footprint renders it a vertical proposition. Not a lot of seating in the lobby areas. Pleasant staff and volunteers, all of a certain age when we were there.
Probably one of the best at centres I've been to. Plus free classical music would make anyone happy to come here.
Awesome theatre with Awesome surroundings in the lush Northern hills of West Vancouver.
Great atmosphere and staff. :)
This world class arts center backs onto West Vancouver Secondary School and is host to all sorts of events. It's easy to get to though parking in the area can be a slight challenge.
Excellent facility for business functions, meeting, seminars or networking events. One caution is that in the theatre, there is absolutely no cell signal reception.
Great place to see musical entertainment as well any production I'm sure.
Great venue for both big and small productions. You have to be creative with parking tho. Be prepared to walk a few blocks.
A beautiful building with a lovely lobby and lounge. Great theatre and comfy seats.
Went to a see a Photo contest and was so impressed with the venue. The parking is easy and plentiful. The theatre itself is well designed and every seat has a good view of the stage. Lighting was top notch and the acoustics are great. Appreciated the snack bar and the choice of drinks available. It would be nice to have more shows here in the future.
Superb venue for performers and audience. World class artists.
Beautiful room. Sounded amazing. Parking was awkward.
In Kay Meek Center you can always expect very organized events to be performed.
Last time I watched two Persian movies there.
Love this theater, but there are an awful lot of stairs. Not to worry, though, there's an elevator, too. No matter where you sit, there's a lot of room for your legs. And for me, claustrophobic me, that's a real treat.
