It's such a beautiful spot here in Malibu and the hostess Vanessa was so sweet and welcoming! Honestly she made our day so special with her lovely personality. The food was good, but seeing the ocean as we had our lunch made it so special!

Gorgeous San Diego views with reasonably priced fine dining. The less expensive option to Island Prime. This is one of the few places I will eat seafood because it tastes so fresh. They do not take reservations!
Putting a surcharge on menu prices because the minimum wage has gone up made me so mad. The customer shouldn't be penalized because you don't want to pay your staff enough. Cancelled my reservation.
The view is fantastic. However the food is disappointing and pricey. We ordered the linguini and clamps and the scallops. The linguini was not properly cooked and the sauce was watery. I paid 38$ for three scallops... Although the scallops were well cooked inside. They were too fried. Same for the slice of ham below that was so grilled that it was not tasting ham anymore. Below the ham there was a risotto cake. It was more a deep fried risotto that was dried, fat and not tasty at all. Service is good.
Best views for bachelorette brunch! The Bloody Mary was fun! The lobster sandwich was delicious. The seafood tower was awesome to share! Seafood overload!
Did I mention the view!? It was gorgeous, definitely choose to sit outside.
This place is only good for the view n relax w a drink only. My food was so greasy and the crabcakes didn't even taste like crab. Very Disappointed w the food!!
Such an incredible view. I highly recommend sitting outside....even if there is a wait. It's worth your time, trust me! They have a large menu so it's highly likely that anyone can find something to eat here. I first noticed the delicious looking Mac N Cheese some kids were eating when I was being shown to my table. Our party of 2 had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon shortly after I arrived in San Diego. We first grabbed a coupe of ice teas at the bar and brought that to our table when we were seated. Not a long wait at all. We started with an order of Calamari, which seems to be fried and tossed or stir fried with basil if I'm correct. I had the roasted organic jidori chicken ziti as my main course (local Campari tomatoes, grilled artichoke hearts, shallots, and crisp pancetta)...not the best item I could have ordered here. The order comes with a side of house chips and pickle. I thought it was okay, but not amazing. The sandwich was a bit dry, and the chips didn't have a whole lot of flavor (a little more seasoning would have made it great).
Service was average, but not great. Our server was waiting on several tables and wasn't very attentive. When our forks were cleared after eating the appetizers, it took a while to get some new ones because we couldn't find him. There was also a mistake on our bill and we couldn't find him for that either. We eventually waved down someone who I'm guessing was a supervisor and explained to him that we were double charged for our iced teas. it was corrected.
It was a good experience. I'd totally come back here for lunch or dinner. I think it would be a great place for a romantic date. I'm serious.
Parking is a bit funny. While there were plenty of spaces, they seem to be facing the wrong direction. They don't want you driving down the direction in which your car is facing/parked.
Fantastic view and food. However, I had a bad service experience here on the birthday. I do not feel this kind of service deserve the high-price tag on the menu.
Fantastic view. Like, the best restaurant view in San Diego. You will almost definitely need to use valet parking. The vegetarian options are slim. One appetizer, a salad or two, and one entree. Pricey, but well worth it. Great place to take out-of-towners... It a first date.
Gorgeous views, impeccable wait staff (shout out to Tony!), and fresh, delicious seafood. We had the best night out at their reopening. They have barriers up between tables, but they are clear and do not ruin the incredible views.
Friends who fly into San Diego love to hit the C-Level restaurant straight from the plane. And what a great beginning for a visit here! The views alone would be enough, as the restaurant is almost at water level, straight across from Coronado and the navy ships in one direction, with the San Diego downtown skyline in another direction, and sailboats passing by. But the food is great, too. Our party tried and enjoyed the fish tacos with a nice pineapple salsa, the Healthy Skirts on Fire Salad, the pulled pork sandwich. Mine was the Warm Baby Spinach Salad with Blackened Shrimp. The skewered shrimp was spicy and tasty, and I loved that the salad was just loaded with goodies - egg, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, sun-dried cranberries, goat cheese and pine nuts.
The view of downtown San Diego is spectacular especially at night. They have heaters outside too to keep you warm. However the food and service was so-so for the price you pay.
Great restaurant with outstanding view. I sat and the bar and fell in love with their smokey old fashioned- it was just perfect. The lobster mac and cheese was also incredible. Absolutely great choice for a date night!
Came here for drinks. We met bartender Tasha, she is amazing! So we were going to get a table and wait at the bar. We ordered our drinks and she began explaining the menu. She was so right about all the dishes she recommended and to top it of she recommends Key Lime pie for desert. It was deeelicious! I really want to tell you all about her personality. After a hard day, meeting someone who laughs and tells funny stories is the best! She made us laugh and we preferred to stay near her and enjoy dinner with her service. I highly recommend C Level especially for Tasha.
Other than it being a little loud (and thus hard to hold a conversation) this place is great. Atmosphere 10/10 food options 10/10 taste 10/10 service 10/10 (i go through soda about a glass every 2 to 3 mins and they kept up with me) price is very reasonable especially since the food quality is amazing (4 people including drinks came to less than 150). I would deffinately reccomend you check this place out for lunch, parking is plentiful and free before 4:30 and we were seated imediately at noon. Only complaint is loud music and since the outside seating is enclosed by glass it traps the noise in making it really hard to hear across the table.
Deciding on an early dinner to eat, my wife and I decided on this restaurant. Initially, we thought it was a Steakhouse, it was actually a seafood restaurant, it did have steak selection, but not much. The atmosphere was great, located at the San Diego harbor, overlooking the ocean. My sons loved it, the view was great. Lucky we got there right before 4:30 pm, the parking was free, if not, it would be $8 valet fee. The foods we ordered were excellent, I ordered the Icelandic Cod and my wife had the Steak Frites 10oz. Both of our foods were superb, the cod was moist and the Cajun shrimps were so fresh and delicious. The steak was tender, even when it was well-done. Truly a great restaurant, we will definitely recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone looking for good food with a great view.
Made reservations with Xavier who was extremely nice and helpful. He actually came by and checked on us so sweet! Enjoyed our dinner on their heated covered patio of a gorgeous view of San Diego on the water at night. Absolutely amazing atmosphere and had a great waitress Shawn. She was nice and attentive throughout the evening. Perfect romantic dinner and great food and wine! Their trio ice cream was the perfect finish to our night.
What a dinner, and what a view! Combining the delicious 3 course dinner with the amazing view and great service ... I gotta say it's well worth a reservation. And I highly recommend a reservation. And I have to thank Ken and Tom for this dinner.
This has always been and will always be a great "go-to" for me. The views of downtown across the water are superb, and fit well with a great menu, and stellar service. And, get the mud pie. Always get the mud pie.
I discovered C Level back in 2008 and I ve been hooked since. There s nothing on their menu that I haven t ordered or don t like. My favorite is the Ahi stack on the appetizer section. That s a meal by itself. The shrimp Louis salad is delicious. I usually order the French onion soup and ask them not to ad any salt. Of course staff are always friendly. The view is gorgeous specially just half an hour before the sunset and even when it s over cast or rainy.
My friend had her birthday party here so I was kind of hesitant to order any thing because the prices are pretty steep. But I ordered the ceviche and it was actually a good amount of food. I was even able to bring some home.
If you want to be on the Bay, sip cocktails watching the sun set, this is a beautiful spot. Another choice restaurant by the Cohen Group. Great food and friendly service, have your happy hour or brunch here.
The C Level remains blessedly consistent, with good food and drinks, a delightful environment and good service. Don't expect innovative food, but you can count on the quality and the presence of favor dishes.
Because it's always crowded, come early or expect a wait for a table. And try for an outdoor table with a view of the San Diego skyline. It can be very noisy, especially at night
I ordered the French Dip Sandwich and it was amazing. It was a little small, but incredibly filling. My mom ordered the Lobster & Fontina BLT Sandwich and it was also incredibly delicious! Both were very reasonably priced in terms of quality, but the Lobster was a much better deal!
For desert, we got the Mud Pie, which I wish I had taken a picture of. When they said mountain of coffee ice cream they really meant it!!
Went here with a large group and the waitress was awesome and didn't seem to mind everyone asking for drinks, condiments, etc.. Everyone kept saying their food was the best they have ever had. The restaurant has amazing views of the downtown skyline front across the harbor. We didn't have reservations and only had to wait 15 minutes
Beautiful place especially at night, came in with my kids and grandkids, was worried that they would not serve us well because of all the kids, but they went out of their way to make our evening especial, thank you very much.
very delicious. i've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. this place has an awesome feel to it. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.
For years, this has been one of my go-to destinations for special occasions. Sitting on the tip of Harbor Island, the views of downtown SD, Coronado, and the SD Bay are obviously gorgeous, especially around the sunset. But the appeal here goes well beyond that, with a clean and elegant ambience, an inventive and well-executed menu, and service that is consistently warm and superb. I've never had anything here I didn't enjoy, but some stand-outs for me include the Ahi, Crab & Avocado attack (appetizer), the Chef Deborah's Pepita & Sesame Crusted Brie (appetizer), the Lobster & Fontina BLT Sandwich (warning: huge portion!), and the Pineapple Upside Down Cake (wow!). Quite simply, a wonderful dining experience. Thank you!
1st time in San Diego, arrived to C level to join my family after landing at the airport. The view is mesmerizing, the food is healthy, creative and delicious. We were served by waiter name Court, professional and very nice and friendly to our twin girls. Totally recommended.
