We ate sunday lunch there in early February. The restaurant was very quiet so we were a little surprised to receive a call fifteen minutes before our reservation time to seek confirmation. The decor is fine and the tables well set out. Service was very attentive though there were few diners. The manager was particularly courteous and charming.

I had crab croquettes as a starter, and it was hard to determine that the filling was crab. There was little flavour. The main course of lamb shoulder and ham with beans was a cassoulet style dish. There was good flavour but the over abundance of white beans made the dish rather too heavy and filing. Neither of the two of us who ate it were able to finish it.

The selection of ice creams had good texture, but again could have had more flavour.

So for service and ambiance it scores well, but flavours and lightness need to be addressed at this price level.

Went for the set lunch. Mackerel starter was excellent but everything else was what you'd expect from a good (rather than exceptional) restaurant. Based on what I had there are plenty of places you can eat and drink just as well for substantially less (although granted they aren't in Mayfair and the food is a little less dressy!).

Food was adequate but not stunning. I was really disappointed by the service however. As a previous review stated; not rude but generally incompetent. For a restaurant charging at this level, it's not good enough. We didn't pay the service charge and I won't be be returning. Shame.

I have invited my partner to Corrigan's to celebrate his birthday. Having visited a similar signature restaurant earlier with a 35 pound pp deal from bookatable.co.uk I have decided to try this restaurant with a similar deal.

While the atmostphere was nice, I could not say the same about the main course - lamb shack which was nicely cooked but far too salty. We also had to pay for the side dishes because these apparently were not included in the deal. All the dishes were quite heavy. On arrival, we were offered champagne included in the deal, but unfortunately it was sweet and we were never asked if we wanted sugar in the drink.

To celebrate, we ordered a caraf of wine. We were very much surprised when we got the bill charging two carafs because we never ordered two, but one.

To sum up, instead of paying 80-90 pounds for a nice meal - exactly what we paid at Roux at the Landau, we were charged 150 pounds, with part of the bill corresponding to a caraf of wine that we never ordered and that the waiter never proposed to us to buy.

If you are checking restaurants with the online deals then best to read carefully what is being offered and to object if you are cheated by the restaurant staff into something you did not want.

I was lucky enough to attend a Chef's table dinner here this week, and we had their Taster Menu with wine pairing. The exclusivity of this private room was exactly what we were after for entertaining our guests. The sommelier was fantastic and really knew her stuff, and both the food and wine were superb. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Dining in the chef's table library was quite interesting. You are in the thick of the action in a cozy library by the kitchen.
The staff are attentive but the food for a triple Rosetta star restaurant was more expensive and less appealing than some Michelin starred restaurants. The wine pairing didn't flow much which was a bit of a disappointment

Decent food, just very slow between the starter and mains. The sommelier did re-pour our glasses of wine, on the house, which was appreciated.the atmosphere was quite nice and talkative, not stuffy at all.

a major disappointment. having had some memorable times at lindsay house and reading some exceptional reviews of corrigan's new mayfair outpost, i had high hopes; alas, the inarguably imaginative and exciting-to-read menu was let down by long waits for courses, inconsistent service (we barely saw the same face twice) forgotten items, a charmless sommelier and tepid food. at this level and price i was expecting perfection; this was merely 'ok'.

Great food, great service (attentive without being intrusive), good gluten free selection and knowledge. And they always make the effort to ensure that you don't miss out on the extra treats by making special gluten free alternatives. Great for business lunches - highly recommended.

I went to a meeting here and we had a room in the back. A lovely room, very comfortable. The staff were brilliant, very attentive and swift. The food was delicious, with a highlight being a chocolate mousse cake with tonka bean ice cream and caramel. This was my first time here and as a vegetarian, I was well catered for. Took photos of mine and of a fish meal. Lovely place.

Very classy restaurant. Friendly and professional service. Good wine list and fine food. I prefer my fine dining a little more fancy and found the dishes a little simple, not bad, just not my preference.

The decor was very relaxing. Very easy to get a reservation on the weekend in summer. Staff was very attentive.
We were referred by a big foodie , so I was a little disappointed.
I ordered the stuffed courgette flower but it was heavily fried and tasted of seafood.
The second course of sea trout was a little overdone.
My impression is that it was overpriced for the quality of the cuisine.

Last month we were privileged to have our meal twice there. Briliant cuisine, great Wine List and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything one would expect from such a place and then some more. Black squid risotto, alhough side order, was one of the best dishes we have ever tasted. And then, completely unexpected Chef personally showed to greet us and have turned out to be great fellow. Really memorable experience.

Well with 2 Michelin stars (at the time of writing), you expect it to be good... and it does deliver.

I can't comment on price as I was a guest at a party, however the staff were very good and the place was beautiful. The staff made every effort to make sure our evening was good, but the food was the real attraction.

So with all these complaints, the flavours of the food still manage to get this a 4/5 rating.

Corrigan s Mayfair is one of the kind of high end ...

Corrigan s Mayfair is one of the kind of high end establishments you would expect to find in Mayfair. When there are so many options, you know that you are on the right track when there is a long waiting list and a packed dining room. Corrigan s Mayfair was the perfect place to have lunch with a friend.

We were shown to our seats by the excellent waiting staff and this was just the beginning of an amazing lunch. The service was great throughout and the team really made us feel valued. To start, I chose the venison tartare with Jerusalem artichoke and crab apple, which was put together with real style. All of the dishes we had were perfectly balanced with flavours. My friend went for the seared Orkney scallops with cauliflower, vanilla and cocoa, which sounded like a step into the unknown, but tasted divine.

Looking for main courses to match, I opted for the pan-fried truffle gnocchi with mushrooms and leek flowers and it was just amazing. I never wanted the dish to end. My friend has a sweet tooth and decided that treacle glazed mallard with spiced lentil and pomegranate was going to satisfy it. She loved every bite, but we both still had room for dessert. We decided to share the British & Irish farmhouse cheeses.

Fabulous meal sitting at the Kitchen Library with views of Head Chef Ross Bryans working his magic at the pass! What a treat to watch him and his team in the kitchen create some truly beautiful tasty dishes! Sublime food to celebrate The Glorious Twelfth. Chef Bryans personally explained what was on offer to our table and in the end created an extra dish as none of us could not decide if we wanted grouse or mallard. He did both dishes for us! His staff were attentive and fun to chat with. Great experience all in all. Thanks again!
