Usually got the Louie crab salad, not the best but still I liked it. The one at Zodiac is better. Don't get the lobster mac and cheese, it should be renamed "imitation crab mac and cheese, may contain traces of lobster meat if you are lucky." I hoped they just run out of lobster meat that day, instead of how they normally cook the dish, I would never find out as I am not paying another 26 beans for crab sticks soaked in cheese. Flemings has much better lobster m&c at 18 bucks. Still you are surrounded by the water, making it somewhat forgiving seeing the random services and food problems Cohn's group has over the years. Update: another lunch at C level, when you never got anyone checking in with you after someone dropped the food on the table, and I ended up standing up obnoxiously for sometime to try catch anyone's attention to just get service. Sigh...dropping to 3 stars. You could have gotten 3 more drinks+ 2 coffees + 1 trio of brulee out of me, sorry for you.

Rate: 3.5 stars. Went here for date night with my husband on a Saturday. We've been to their neighbor Island Prime twice and enjoyed it, so we decided this time to try C level.

C level doesn't take reservations so we came around 7:50pm and waited about 50 minutes before we were seated, which we expected.

We were seated next to the ocean and the view was gorgeous!
I ordered a drink: "Endless Summer" and it was delicious! If you're into sweet alcoholic drinks, get this.

The reason I ultimately went with 3 stars instead of rounding up to 4 was because although service was good, the food wasn't as impressive and I thought it was just okay.

Appetizers: these actually took forever to come out. A table that sat down after us while we were ordering got their appetizer first.
-Chef Deborah's Pepita & Sesame Crusted Brie: it was good but not as good as I imagined. Flavor was mild, maybe needed a sprinkling of salt, and I think the cheese would've paired better with crusty bread rather than pita for more contrast. The salad it came with was good though.
-crab cake: came with one crab cake but it was yummy!

Mains:
-lobster Mac and cheese: my husband's choice and I thought it was okay. I felt like it was missing something. Maybe crunchy breadcrumbs? Green onion or chives? Idk. The salad it came with was tasty though and good contrast to the Mac and cheese.
-Steak Frites: I got the New York and it was cooked to my liking, medium-rare. However, the pesto sauce was missing some sort of nuttiness to it. It's my personal preference but I thought it tasted too herb-y (if that makes sense). Fries were crispy and salad was good!

Dessert:
-mud pie: I think they kinda overdid it on this dessert! It was huge!! I think it's meant to serve at least 4 people. It was okay but way way way too big a serving.

Overall, it was a decent experience and I'd probably come back for brunch but not for a dinner date night. If you want a date night type, go for Island Prime next door!

Super solid spot. Made reservations for 6:15 and got in at 6:15. Service was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Everything was really nice and was exceptional. The food taste was what it was meant to be.

A great experience I had in a while .

This place has become a regular stop for us each time we are in San Diego. It has the absolute best views of any restaurant I have been to with spectacular views of downtown and the harbor. The service is top notch from the hosts to the waitstaff. The "Flaming Skirts" salad is a perfect meal sized salad that is extremely satisfying. Their drink menu is just the right size with a good selection of beers, cocktails and wine. Even though we have come here for years, the service and food seem to get better each time. Highly recommended!

Great water view of city. Tony provided great service. New England chowda was superb along with the ahi tuna. Cozy ambience. Entire experience worth the price. Parking was easy and fast with valet. Highly recommend.

Delicious muy delicious!!! Mussels were incredible, nearly drank the sauce from the damn pot ! Then had the healthy Hawaiian ahi & salmon poke bowl which was suuuper fresh and light and the shrimp & crab louie salad which was a hearty portion of greens, mini cold shrimp & lump crab with their thousand island dressing which was really just phenomenal. We sat on the patio beneath the massive heaters and watched the tides roll under moonlight, cant really ask for a more romantic date night than that! Side note: kudos to our very lovely and professional server for the night Jeff, he had a rude table of toddlers burping and yelling while he was talking to the parents about their meals and kept complete composure, you were wonderful Jeff!

The C-Level side of Island Prime is a great place to meet people from out of town, wait for a flight or just to come and enjoy a happy hour with insane views of the bay. While Island Prime could be deemed C-Levels older more sophisticated brother, C-Level is just one of those places where you don't mind meeting up with friends and acting however you want. There's nothing pretentious about this place. They have great drinks and unique appetizers. I've also been here for brunch several times and love sitting outside on the covered patio, having on of their delicious unique salads after sharing some of their tantalizing appetizers like their crusted Brie plate. The Cohn Group really got this ace right as its a nice blend of upscale and casual!

Went here on a Sunday morning and a lot of things were closed. I think I would have been more impressed if I went during the week for lunch. I was pleased with the food I got (coffee and pastries). I would stop by again if I was in the area. I love the concept of food halls and this one had a good variety of foods/seating.

A must see while visiting the city. Great panoramic views on the water and delicious food to accompany. We expected a long wait on a Saturday night, but we were seated right away around 7:30pm at a table on the water. Wonderful experience!

First time eating at this restaurant on date night and we had a fantastic meal.Hubs has the Spicy Strip Steak Salad & Old Bay Perl & Eat shrimp I had the Lobster Bisque Soup and Chicken Pot Stickers that so far are my favorite in SAN Diego. The shredded Daikon Radish was amazing. I have never had it before, and I look forward to having it again . The Key Lime Pie was the icing on the cake. Thank you for an amazing meal. Stephanie was our server and we really enjoyed her pleasant personality

Lobster mac n cheese with truffles. Cant seem to eat anything else . Also, I don't like calamari in any way shape or form. Especially the legs. However, you need to have this calamari-- i couldn't believe how tasty, with perfect texture, not rubbery. I love it!

We had a lovely meal with a gorgeous view of the San Diego skyline. What stands out was our awesome waiter, Tony. The key lime pie was to die for. The food was good but not great and the prices were slightly higher than similar seafood restaurants. That being said, we totally enjoyed our time here.

This place is spectacular! Both in terms of food quality and atmosphere. Quite a bit of hustle and bustle and usually a wait during peak times, but everything is a treat. One of the few places I've found to reliably have lobster tails. Also, rose champagne by the glass. Excellent selection of appetizers and entrees. And a nice, muted, but still a bit chaotic interior. One of my favorite spots in San Diego. Enjoy!

Went here for an anniversary and it was magical! Our server (who was named Nick) provided awesome service and was a great conversationalist. The view was to die for out on the deck where we were seated. We ordered the muscles and the lobster bisque and it did not disappoint. So delicious! Overall, great first experience with the C-Level Lounge!

Always incredibly beautiful view of the bay & downtown, very nice servers. Varied menu though caution to vegetarians- there are seafood dishes but otherwise heavy on meat. But the steep charge for valet parking and the inflated prices have decreased my don't-miss recommendation of a few years ago.

Good food. Good service. Was nothing out of this world, but made really solid sea food. Their meats are also really delicious. If you want a good fish place with a pretty view, this is the place to go.

Quintesstial San Diego. On the Bay, great food and service. Either the daytime view across to Coronado or the night view of SD skyline. Doesn't get much better. Try Healthy Skirts on Fire salad for a spicy steak salad option
Lobster Mac and cheese is awesome. It will become a favorite.

C-Level lounge is a modern American eatery, with food ranging from burgers and steaks to scallops and fish, not to mention their dessert options that are off the charts. The staff is very friendly and cater to everybody's needs with a smile on their faces. Great for solo trips, dates, as well as bringing in the family for a fun lunch or dinner.

The food was fresh and well prepared but nothing spectacular. Our calamari was very chewy almost burnt but we were promptly given a fresh one. There customer service is A+ and the unobstructed view of the bay and downtown San Diego is just beautiful.

Always a joy dining here.
Limited self parking on the right hand side when you enter otherwise there's Valet available.
Nice outdoor seating. Different times of the day the sun can beam down strong at different angles. Choose table wisely.
Food is always yummy and the pie is devine.

Really pretty place right by the waterfront. The mussels are delicious (they're some type of appetizer), & the service was great. A lot of the appetizers/entrees are large enough to share. Good service.

I finally got to try this restaurant. The view is like no other in San Diego. Nice quiet steel drum music and the feeling of being in the islands. Great food and casual elegant ambience.

Decent food, nice place and good view of downtown/Coronado. The crab cake we ordered was quite good. I got fish tacos which was ok, I thought it missed some flavor in the fish. We came back 2nd time and the food was better (fire steak salad).

This is a beautiful place and the salmon entree is sooo good! It s dimly lit and getting a seat by the window is a must so you can experience the nice view. They have heaters to keep you warm which is a plus. The only downfall was the lobster Mac & cheese which was what I was excited about after seeing all the good reviews, but it ended up being bland and not something I would get again. The waitress was excellent and I had an overall great experience.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. 1st Because of the VIEW of SD'S CITY SKYLINE, ESPECIALLY Right Before it gets Dark. The Contrast before Dark is Awesome! Picture Worthy. Then a Beautiful SD City Skyline will appear! It's Totally Subjective and Needs to be Seen!

Anyway the Service and Food are Very Good at C- Level/ Island Prime. I've had the CRABMEAT & WHITEFISH SANDWICH WITH A CUP OF LOBSTER BISQUE. Absolutely an Amazing Couple! LOL! Their Burger is Very Good Medium Rare! Their Refreshing AHI & SALMON POKE PLATE is Delicious and is plated over warm white rice. AND YOU CANNOT LEAVE WITHOUT HAVING THEIR SIGNATURE LOBSTER MAC N CHEESE! OFF THE CHAIN!

So this was my first visit and I was pleased with everything. I had a French Onion soup and my boyfriend had the Lobster Mac and Cheese and for dessert, the pear bread pudding. Everything was spot on. Great flavor, wait time was fantastic, and service was amazing. The chef in the back made a mistake by adding a raspberry sorbet, and it was a great mistake. I believe they should always have it served w the pudding. Thank you for the wonderful food.

I'm giving this 2 stars because my wife liked her burger. I, however, ordered the chicken ziti and it was terrible. First of all, the chicken was not cooked fresh, it was reheated. In fact, it tasted like the microwaveable bagged "grilled" chicken you can get at Walmart. It also had pork, lots of it! Overall, not good at all!
