Butler is by far the BEST Dealership I have ever worked with! Reasonable prices on cars, Great service, and Amazing people! Keep up the good work! You guys are gonna be unstoppable in the new building!!!

The experience I had today is exactly why I DO NOT take my car into this dealership for service any more. Astronomical "diagnostic fees"!!!
My car battery was dead (as in could not jump start it). FYI - the battery was under warranty which the ONLY reason I took it back to the dealer. The service department said that they had to test the battery in the vehicle for a complete electrical check. Okay, makes sense so far. The battery was so dead the test and recharge took all afternoon. I received a call the next morning saying the battery was fully charged and the car is ready. Only cost me $28 (reasonable). When I show up to get it, the radio, back-up camera, etc do not function. Seems they would have noticed that?? Went right back in and was told they would now have to run a diagnostic. Turns out the radio was somehow "locked out" and had to be reset. They had the car for less than an hour and I get charged an extra $120. That "diagnostic fee" is outrageous.

Worked out a great deal with Danny Powell here at Butler Chrysler. The Butler family exceeded all of my expectations and I will definitely recommend them for anyone who needs a Pre-Owned or Brand new Vehicle!

The customer service is outstanding. Brian Hill helped me find the perfect car to fit both my budget and my personality. Because of salesmen like him I will continue to be a repeat customer at Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Beaufort.

Dealership mails out deceptive scam mail that makes you think you won a crazy prize but if you pay attention to the wording it says your scratch off number must match with the special number on the promotion AND the prize board in store. Its just another scam to get you in the dealer to get you to buy a car.

DECEPTION IS BAD FOR BUSINESS

The Staff was awesome and very helpful in assisting us in finding the perfect truck for our business. Very happy with service and its our 4th vehicle we have purchased from Butler. They have a customer for life with us, the service department has always taken care of us and its the service after the sale that keeps us coming back.

They had to fix another mechanics mistake and did so promptly and professionally. My vehicle is 12 years old and I had done nothing but regular maintenance for some time. I requested they check it out and give possible upcoming issues. I received a list of things to be done quickly and over the next few months. They were very professional.

This is the place to go if you want to buy a Jeep in the Lowcountry. Huge inventory to pick from. Great customer service.

Their giveaways are a scam! I did the scratch of and it showed three Jeep Patriots, so logically I thought I had won! But it was a scam. I would avoid the service and sales experience unless you love to be disappointed.

Bought a vehicle today and couldn t be happier. Butler is a great place to shop, get a good deal and buy. I ve shopped for this truck for months all over Florida, Georgia and SC but I bought from Butler. When you go, be sure to ask for Danny. He s a nice guy and great salesman who took care of everything. He even called the insurance company and got my insurance transferred. I can t thank him enough for making a painful process easy. I always dread car shopping but this was easy! JR the sales manager was excellent as well. He worked with Danny to take care of some annoying details that could have taken forever at other dealerships. I don t expect I ll need another vehicle any time soon but when I do I ll be back!

Bought our new Dodge Journey today with Rhsaad. It was literally the best car buying experience we've ever had. In and out in 2 hours including test driving, financing and having the vehicle cleaned. Rhsaad was so nice and thoughtful and the whole team at Butler really catered to our 3-year-old autistic son while we went through the process (which is really what won our business). Rhsaad personally made sure he had snacks, he was able to play a little and no one even batted an eye. They even toddler-proofed a conference room for us to sign our loan papers in. We will definitely be Butler customers for life and be bringing our car back to have all service done (even though we live all the way in Savannah).

Always friendly service - tech was informative and explained what service was needed. Service was longer than expected, but overall no complaints.

Their service department is the best I've found in the lowcountry. They have been servicing our fleet of truck for years. We even bring our Ford's and Chevy's in for service at Butler due to their quick turnaround times and accurate diagnosis. Keep up it!

Our salesman Chris was very nice. Seemed sort of green but he tried really hard and sometimes that means more than having a bunch of useless knowledge. The manager paid for lunch for my family and myself because it took a very long time for things to get completed. That was a really nice gesture.
The problem is the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. When I called I was left on hold and no one ever came back. Every time I called. It seems like the communication just breaks down. I think everyone is very new so it wasn't as smooth of an experience as I am used to but I would give an A for effort. The bad part is the maintenance department. I think the guys name was Doug I dealt with and he wasn't very nice. There were things I wanted to have checked out and he didn't fix them. I had to bring the car back for some extra things and it's like the concerns I had were ignored. I was also bringing it back for leather seats and I was told I would have a car to use for the day. I was ready to walk out the door to go up there and I got a text telling me there was no car for me. Again lack of communication which I think stems from the service department. Folks are really nice there but it was sort of a stressful experience. I didn't feel comfortable throughout the process. Also I found out my car was in an accident and it was never disclosed to me. I decided to sell the car I just bought because it didn't run well. The dealer asked me if I knew it was in an accident and of course I said no. I had a ton of equity from the car I traded in and now was upside down because I was overcharged. Do not go here to buy a car.

The service department at Butler rocks! I had a difficult to diagnose transmission issue. The entire team helped me out and got the problem solved. They also made sure that the issue was fixed properly without buying unnecessary parts and spending extra cash. A special shout out to Debbie for staying in touch and communicating with me.

Great customer service. I had no idea what was wrong with my car. They asked the right questions to begin figuring it. They called when my car was ready, and the cost matched my quote. Glad I found a dealer that can complete the work needed.

Tried to work a deal with these folks. They wouldn t honor the true car price to the tune of $7000 more than what Truecar listed. Also they agreed to cover the payoff of my vehicle by increasing the sticker price of the car without telling me.

Butler's service department is one of the best I've been to. I have owned 18 mopar vehicles in my life. Purchased my current Jeep at a different dealership in my area, and after having an issue with it and taking it there and them keeping it for 5 days and messing with everything except the problem I brought in for i was advised by JeepCares to bring to different dealer. So I reached out to Butler and they were more than happy for me to bring in and look at it. They found the problem in 1 day and went above and beyond to take care of fixing my Jeep for me. Stephanie was my advisor and was truly excellent to work with. My wife also purchased a jeep from same dealership I got mine at, but we will never go back there. Butler has earned our business from now on for both our vehicles

Terrible customer service...they can not be trusted!! My husband purchased a vehicle in March 2020 and 10 months later he STILL doesn t have the registration or title. They send him 30 day temporary plates every month because they don t have the paperwork on the vehicle. NOW they want him to purchase ANOTHER VEHICLE!!! #ridiculous #badservice #fraud #goANYWHEREelse

Don't be turned off by the aging facility (new one being built now). Inside, Timbo George and Ken Reed will get you driving a new sweet ride as they did for me, I am sure.

I recvd a winning number in the mail and scratched off and won a tv. After I arrived discovered promotion was phony. If promotion phony probably their service is as well. I explained the winning scratch off was very clear, General Sales Manager, Larry, tried to make up some story about columns under winning prize pictures did not match to try to scramble out of giving me the tv I won. STAY AWAY FROM BUTLER! If they are going to make up stories about a simple promotion, just imagine when you bring your car in for a transmission check!

Brought my 2500 in for paint warranty work. I was greeted by like 5 people who were super nice and helpful. They got my truck done quickly and beautifully. They even cleaned out the cab of my truck which was completely unexpected. I would definitely go back for any future issues.

I purchased a 2004 ford f250 approximately 3 months ago. During the purchase something didn't seem right. The day I looked at the truck let let me take it home. The next day they called me to bring it back for a transmission which I did not see. I brought it back with the complaint of not having any brakes and the ABS system broke a major safety issue. They held my truck for 6 days and now I know why. They waited to get the financing was for the truck. When they gave me back the vechicle. Itwasnt fixed after fighting though the better business bureau and attorney general office they finally repaired the ABS system. But now I know why they waited for financing. The truck now sits in a ford repair shop with bad fuel injectors, bad egr system, broken wiring harness, transmission still leaking and truck won't run. You mean to tell me with all these problems they didn't know. Yes they did that's why they made me bring it back and they held it. I am a disabled firefighter injured in the line of duty and now on a fixed income. I feel I was taken advantage of driving 3 hours to buy a vehicle they sold me a truck with a lot of issues. Now Ian looking at a 14000 loan and a vehicle they needing thousands of dollar in repairs. The service person won't return calls after she lied to the better business bureau about repairs. The manager mike hung the phone up on me telling me he would do no more. I recommend no one buy from this dealer they r sneaks and paint a real false picture.

Poor experience. Felt like the staff was trying to scam me the entire time. They refused to tell me how much the price on the car I wanted was, and when they did it was almost 10 thousand over KBB value. When I pointed that out they got flustered and said I was wrong. Their excuse was that they priced the wrong vehicle that we didnt even look at. It took me saying no about 5 times before they gave up and let me walk out the door. Will never be doing business with these guys again.

We had been looking to trade our Journey for a Pacifica for months. The trade-in value put us in negative equity, which we couldn t cover due to other things going on. Shalana and Audrina not only helped us find exactly what we were looking for, but they also helped us pay off the Journey. That was a huge help and a factor in deciding to do business with them. Customer service in the service department is amazing. They've been very helpful from day one. I drive an extra 40 minutes in order to go to this dealership rather than the Hilton Head CDJ @ NRAM. This was my first car and the HHCDJ @ NRAM treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Here at Butler CDJ every thing is personal, I even spoke to the mechanics regarding certain problems. I recommend this dealership to anyone who has had a crap time with the Hilton Head CDJ @ NRAM. I had a 9am appointment, to have my air conditioner checked. They didn't let me know what they found wrong for almost 3 hours. I can see if they were actually fixing it, but they were just checking it out.

I always get great service at Butler. I love seeing the service advisors! We laugh and cut up.

Told salesperson I was driving 2 hours to look at a specific car. Arrived to find out the mileage was majorly incorrect and was told he knew about it a couple days prior. I did not appreciate my time being wasted.

After traveling from Pennsylvania to South Carolina, my brake booster needed replaced. Butler ordered the part, provided me with a loaner car and had my car returned to me within two days. Ms.Trey in the service department, was fabulous! She made sure my loaner was big enough to accommodate my large family and kept me updated on my cars' progress. I was a very satisfied customer and highly recommend Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep to everyone! My family and I left Beaufort knowing our car was safe to drive all the way back to PA with our New Marine aboard
