I have been using this dealership for repairs on my wrangler for over a year now and I will never go to another place in town. The staff is helpful and kind, the work is solid and timely and the prices are competitive with most aftermarket repair shops. If you do use this dealership, ask for Debby, she will treat you as family!

Bought a 2004 Yamaha roadstar from butler. Battery started to die after 2 months & oil was about gone. Figured they would atleast service it. Nice customer service though.

I took my car here to get serviced. They didn't call me when it was ready for pick up, I had to call them. When I received my car back I noticed quite a few scratches on my door from someone rubbing against it to get in. When I notified the CSR she said that my car is black so you are going to see scratches and pointed at few other light scratches on my car. I have a brand new car, I've noticed the other marks before. So she had them take a look at it and when she brought it back you could still see the marks. My car was also very dirty from the test drive, I guess they take it down the muddiest road they can find. I will not be bringing my car back here, they seemed rude and unprofessional.

Best car buying experience I ve ever had, hands down! So imaging leaving the hospital after having a baby and you end up here for a bigger vehicle. They accommodated all of our needs. They were considerate and thoughtful I had just had a cesarean section and even walked papers outside for me to sign, when I did have to go in someone held the door open for me which was super sweet. It literally felt like family being here, no phony salesmen or anything of that nature. Got in some good genuine laughs and conversation it wasn t just a car buying experience. The hospitality here is real and just a great environment overall. My husband and I are more than pleased with the service/ experience and would highly recommend EVERYONE! We have gotten a few cars and this was the best place we ve went too and we plan on going here for any future purchases.

Watch yourself, they will take advantage of you if you don't have mechanic experience. I was told there was something wrong with my vehicle and given a large estimate to fix it. Come to find out my fuel rail is in GREAT condition, does not need to be replaced. When a different company looked at it they showed me screws missing, other various things wrong that could only happen manually. I am sick that someone would take advantage of people like this place does. Don't worry, words gets around fast in a small town. Take your business local, they care about their customers and will take the time to explain to you the problems and show you what is wrong and won't flat out LIE to you. I went to a ton of dealerships in SC to find a Jeep Wrangler. Ran across some awful sales people at Rick Hendrick on Rivers Ave in N.Chas (not the first time) and will never go there again. Then I saw a Wrangler on Butler's website and made an inquiry. Terri Blydenburgh gave me all of the information I requested immediately. She sent me pictures of UNDER the car before she left work for the day, and then called me on her way home from work to make sure I received everything. When I drove to the dealership, I enjoyed the professionalism of the entire staff. Everyone wore masks and made social distancing a priority. The Manager, Phillip Woods helped us get to a price that I could afford and didn't make me feel pressured at all! Tim Rettig was also a joy to work with on Financing. He went out of his way to help us get an extended warranty even when the first numbers made it seem impossible. He worked with us to make sure that we had coverage at a minimal rate. We have five kids...one drives, two get permits this year, and two more kids down the road that will all need cars. My family will be calling Terri Blydenburgh for every.single.vehicle. in our future. I wish I could give them SIX STARS!!

If you want to pay to have the same problem misdiagnosed and fixed three times Butler is the place for you. It took me 33 months and four vehicles to realize this but I m good. Also not that this needs to be said but beware the salesman whom wants to help you out of your problem (car) .
I purchased a Jeep online because it had the specific qualities I was looking for. Although I haven t met any of the sales or administrative people I dealt with, I was treated very well. Everyone was personable and treated me with respect. I felt no pressure to buy. I did not trade a vehicle. I look forward to visiting in person in the spring.

Purchased a truck, the engine light was on. After asking about it they said they brought it to their service department. They told me it was only on because of a programmer that had been installed. After purchasing the next day I took it to get the truck scanned. Turns out it had more than one code. After bringing it to their attention they told me they would look at it. I went in the next day, basically got told to kick rocks. Aweful business. Nothing but liars.

Regular vehicle servicing is never a problem nor hassle to arrange. Have been with Butler for almost 30 years and that says it all.

I went to the dealership to look for a new truck. I wanted the classic express with the 5.7l v8. I made this clear with the salesman. He directs me to a truck and we test drive it and I like it. A few days later I realize that the engine is the 3.6l, not the 5.7l. Being a new truck, I did not think to look under the hood, nor did I see the HEMI badge. BUT, the salesman didn t even know that it was a 3.6l. The salesman did not know what he was looking at or selling. Went back to the dealership, spoke to JR and explained what happened. I was not putting all the blame on the salesman, because I missed it too. I would ve been okay with an apology that the salesman messed up but we can t do anything about it. But JR was just trying to put all the blame on me and pretty much said F**** you. All I can say is, Butler will never get my business, or the business of my friends and family.
Worst experiance i have ever had at a dealership had a couple tire sensor not communicating correctly on my 2016 ram 3500 i was told a new sencor would correct the problem they dident have it and would need to order i ask sevetal times if this was going to correct my problem i was told they see it all the time and it would after going back couple days later to install and a couple hundred bucks later and almost 7 hours in there waiting lounge i left with 2 sensors not working and throwen to another service advisor girl because i guers the first one knew i had had enough i was told before i left they think i might need another sensor to correct my problem and that will be another 230 bucks but not shure if that would fix my problem the service department spent more time talking about the problem instead of fixing it i was lied to and the guy working on it was lied to by her also after talking to him hes said she only told him 1 sensor was not working correctly i am not the kind of person who complanes but this place is a true joke i went to there manager in the sales department to vent he offered me a car and leave it but after what i went through there and dealing with these people in there service department i had lost all faith in this place and dident feel comptroble leaving my car there for them to keep quessing what the problem was and asking me for another couple hundred bucks and telling me they couldent guarantee me it would fix issue this time ill write this 200 i spent here as a bad investment for me even going there. Was told by the ladies in the service department i brought it in here broke and i cost her money. Trust me i couldent hardley get a word in with these folks they know it all just ask them only thing is they cant fix it Poor poor poor service.
They sale lemons and refuse to fix them. They will lie and tell you they fixed it, when really the car has been sitting up for 1 to 2 weeks without any work being done at all. All their departments work together collectively to scam you. You've been warned.

First visit to Butler Chrysler Dodge and Ram, Beaufort, following a phone conversation with Charles in Sales re Chrysler Pacifica availability as our lease was expiring.
Dealership visit followed. Very impressed with the new location. Found all personnel very friendly and helpful. Charles and Mike went above and beyond to help us find an excellent deal on a great Pacifica. All paperwork was explained clearly by Charles, Mike and Bryson and much to our surprise we found ourselves driving our new lease home!
We returned the following day to have a minor adjustment to the tire pressure and Charles actually looked after it himself.

My experience here was phenomenal! The sales staff and finance manager was very polite! Haley G. (sales) was prepared for any questions I had to throw at her, and she explained all of my paperwork in a very easy to understand way! I am very impressed with the level of skill she had to bring to the table! The finance manager Tim rettig was extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding the factory and extended warranties on my new Jeep! I felt at home the entire visit and to top it off was greeted very politely by the sales management, when they were ensuring my visit was going well and that I was happy with the product! Overall 10/10. Was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours with a full tank of Gas and a brand new Jeep Wrangler!

We just moved to SC from Virginia, and had to find a new dealer to have our cars serviced. We we brought my wife's Challenger in to Butler Dodge, the service advisor Deborah Nakamura was very polite and extremely helpful! It was the best experience I have had with a service department ever! Bought my truck from Chris. It s hard to find wheelchair accessible trucks so I m glad he was able to work with me and get me an amazing truck. however the truck was supposed to be delivered to me as part of the deal with a full tank of gas when it arrived it had less than 1/8 tank also I don t know how the truck passed Sc inspection because all 4 tires were dry rotted and literally peeling apart. Otherwise good truck
Brian Defoor and his staff are WORLD CLASS. I am located in Jacksonville Beach Florida and I dealt with at least 10 other Jeep dealerships. Butler made the rest of them (especially the one in Jax) look like a joke. Brian made sure that everything about the brand new vehicle (Jeep Gladiator) his team delivered to my home was absolutely perfect! From the little to the big details, I will go back to Brian for all my future car purchasing needs.
Women out there looking to purchase a vehicle, take note, this dealership doesn't talk down to you and they are VERY easy to work with. I literally had other dealerships with male sales people that made me never want to buy a car ever. Brian and his entire crew were the exact opposite. They were respectful, kind and they know what they are talking about!

Went to Butler Used Cars to look at jeeps was really unsure about what i wanted but Charles Rivers had me test drive all of them until i found the right one at the right price. Charles still continues to make sure that i am satisfied with my jeep and he always takes care of whatever i need. He was such a great salesmen that a month later i went back and bought another jeep from him. After I couldn't figure out what was wrong when the code P0113 came up for the Intake Air Temperature Sensor I took my truck here to have them fix it. To rewire that sensor they charged me $200 and a day after I left the dealership the code re-appeared. I took it back but they tried describing what the code meant and they said something other than what it meant and they told me that they would not honor the fact that a day after they "Fixed" the issue the code came back on. So I left and went somewhere else only to find out that they wired it incorrectly. Instead of connecting both wires for the sensor to the computer they had one wire connected to the computer and the other wire connected to the ground. I would not recommend going here.

We were on vacation and the check engine light came on in our vehicle. I googled local Jeep dealerships and Butler was the first one that came up. We pulled in, told them our situation, and they were able to get it checked out and get us back on the road in no time! We were very thankful for their fast and courteous service and the peace if mind they provided!!
We test drove a truck here today and decided not to buy. Went back to the first dealership and found out Butler ran credit against EIGHT different banks dropping my daughter's score by 40 points. She specifically asked them not to do it until she was sure she wanted to buy it. We were waiting for them to tell us how much the truck cost all the while they were running her information through the banks. Such a shady operation not to mention an overpriced pos truck. NEVER EVER EVER do business with these crooked people!
