Nice friendly staff, nice clean room and good brea...
Nice friendly staff, nice clean room and good breakfast
Nice friendly staff, nice clean room and good breakfast
Great location, comfortable and great service. Wifi is excellent.
Stayed here during the snow last March. The hotel room was very comfortable and suited my needs perfectly. It is located right in the centre of the city - 90 seconds walk from the main shopping street of Dublin.
The bar food was also quite tasty
Centrally located hotel, a maze! Difficult access for the disabled !! Staff very helpful.
Lower the heating ok but do not switch it off. Better check rooms before customers enter the room: in one room there was no heating, in another room there was a problem with the faucets in the bathroom, this should not normally be allowed. Better check please !!!
Very good Hotel.
Our room was very nice with a big comfortable bed, very friendly employees, totally clean and silent. Well we will come back.
Great location. Staff was very accomodating. would definitely return for a stay.
This hotel was a hidden gem. We absolutely loved everything about it!! Hope to be back soon. Staff we worked with were the absolute best and went out of their way to make our stay great. All three of them!!! Big shout-out to Luiz, Dino and Andrew!!!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay this time. We have stayed there in the past on several occasions and will certainly plan to stay there again when we visit in the future. We love the feeling of the old building, the amenities inside, the food and bar, and the location. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location, just around the corner from #TheIvyDawsonStreet. The decor is a little dated in the halls but everywhere is beautiful. Such a great location for a weekend. The bar is lovely and the staff are so nice.
Really very nice.
I expected it to be a bit fusty but it wasn't.
City center so it's all quite compact, but really very nice.
The service is exceptionally good... The downstairs bar is warm and inviting... Breakfasts are delicious... Location is perfect. Very nice old-world feel... like staying at some one's home... creaky stairways and all!
Lovely rooms. You really get the feelig of old town homes. Service is beyond amazing. Looking forward to returning.
Overall a very enjoyable stay. My first trip to Dublin and couldn't have picked a better hotel
Attended a function here. Dreadful food and service
Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city...just a quick stroll to all of the major sites! Service was excellent, and the food in the restaurant was delicious :) Definitely will stay here again on my next trip to Dublin!
We have stayed here before and especially like the atmosphere. It is busy but not loud and staff are pleasant.
I've traveled to Dublin three times - Buswells Hotel was a great find and I will definitely return.
Apart from the small size of the first room, I was happy that I stayed here.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times in 2017 for 2 and 3 nights at a time and it's my preferred choice in Dublin. Having said that, it would be nice if they had a loyalty/rewards scheme.
The welcome at breakfast is particularly nice and staff do seem to remember me from previous visits.
Overall, I've found it to represent pretty good value for money, but at busier times, it's been harder to say that.
Good location. Old-school charm. I like the Dublin atmosphere.
Really great location, a central location but just far enough from the hustle and bustle to. Be unaffected by the noise. A brilliantly old school hotel where you have to leave your key with reception when you're heading out into town. A vintage decor but modern appliances. Staff are very helpful.
Really nice hotel but letdown by the bathroom. No hot water and mouldy. At over 200 euro for one nights stay you expect a clean fully functioning bathroom as standard.
We really enjoyed our stay. From the excellent service from the night porter, Dave (who made us coffee after our overnight arrival), to all of the staff. Just perfect.
I loved my stay in Dublin and I think the hotel was an important part of that.
Lovely bedrooms very comfy. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely stay for a couple of nights to explore the city. Very nice restaurant and bar. We didn t have breakfast at the hotel so can t comment on that. Very central and easy walk to most sights around Dublin. The negatives - Parking: the hotel covers overnight parking in the public parking building next door, but between 9h30 and 17h30 it s at your own expense (about 25). Since we like to walk this seemed a little steep. The room was very comfortable and spacious, we had a family room, however it does feel slightly dated. Not a problem though. The room service carries a 5 service fee per person which I think is a bit cheeky. On the whole a lovely hotel that is central and very comfortable.
A lovely old Hotel, modernized rooms .
Breakfast was first class!!
Very well located and comfortable, with a nice pub for a drink after the day.
Very well located old style hotel with plenty of character. Would like to stay again......even though we live within 12 km!
It has a bar which is normally good but some of the male barman need to practice a little more manners a smile once in a while
We were able to have a late night sandwich in the bar. Also, they found a a musical to go to and printed the tickets out for us and we had a great time. They called the taxi service for us. Being able to buy Eros there was helpful. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.
This hotel is perfect for visiting central Dublin. It is comfortable and very relaxing. The staff here always put the customer first .A special thanks to Mr. Paul Gallagher for his kindness to us. I highly recommend Buswells.
I've stayed here six times so far and will be here two more times this year. I will always stay at Buswells while in Dublin. It just has everything you could ever want in a hotel. See you soon dear Buswells!!
Really relaxed atmosphere in the bar, very enjoyable.
Good breakfast and a good restaurant here. Rooms are nice. Great location. Wi-Fi works well. Unfortunately there is a very large construction project, a new building next door - see the photo which is the view from our hotel room. Loud noise all day until evening. I liked the breakfast except for the coffee
Great value for money in centre of Dublin!
This hotel is in a quiet street but very close to all the attractions (around the corner from Trinity College - but on the quiet side - only 5 or 10 minutes walking of pub and restaurant life). The rooms are very clean and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. My wife and I stay here for 4 nights. The first night we got a dark room with no view (room no 115). We contact the staff and they gave us a new room on top floor without any arguing. Great service! The room (no. 302) had a lovely style (see my photos) with all the facilities you'd require. Large bed and well appointed bathroom - but the floor tiles were the coldest I've ever set my feet on There are free Wi-Fi in the rooms with OK speed but a little difficult to connect.
Breakfast was plentiful with a good range of choices from continental cheeses and meats, fruit, croissants to a full Irish. And what a beautiful breakfast area (see my photos).
A delightful hotel full of character, open fires and lots of small niches to sit in and read or watch the world go by! The entire staff was so professional, courteous, and went out of its way to accommodate every need we had during our stay.
So if you are on a budget, I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel, awesome location and brilliant service
I would certainly recommend this hotel to people I know. My daughter will be studying at Trinity. I plan to use the services of your hotel in the future. Many thanks!
We would stay here again as it was a very enjoyable visit. Anyone who desires a clean, quiet, and friendly hotel should consider staying here.
Fantastic location, great place to meet if your going into Dail
This is the kind of intimate, comfortable and gracious hotel you always dream you'll find in a city! The lovely helpful staff, comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings, the great location ... We will be back again!
Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and couldn't be more accommodating!
Buswells Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet, offering a full service bar and restaurant, and enjoying an excellent location, it is an ideal place from which to visit and explore Dublin. We very much enjoyed our stay and will book again on our next trip to Dublin.
We would stay there again and highly recommend it to others.
I would definitely stay here again. The only frustrating thing we experienced was flying all night from the USA and not having a room for about 5 hours after we arrived to the hotel. We requested early check in, but it was never guaranteed to us. We were told a room would be available at 2pm but it wasn't until about 230. Trust me, this half hour after flying over really made us that much more tired. Overall, the location is amazing, especially for first timers to Dublin and the other services are fantastic. Everyone is very nice.
Our family group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were comfortable, the food and drinks outstanding, and the attention to care and detail from the staff was most appreciated. The central location made navigating the city easy in the short time we were there.
Buswells is like going back to late Victorian times and I mean that in a good way. Comfortable and unpretentious. Food excellent. The bar and restaurant are popular with politicians from Leinster House nearby but somehow imagination peoples the bar
with Nationalist MPs having a drink or nine before going over the North Wall to vote for Gladstone and Home Rule!
We had a lovely stay in your hotel. It was charming, staff was attentive and friendly and the location was excellent for everything we wanted to do or see.
Overall this is a good place to stay for the location and convenience of the bar and restaurant. A little more attention to detail and improved staffing would elevate this hotel from good to great or possibly excellent.
Worlds smallest room with nothing extra provided at top end price. Very helpful staff though.
I have stayed a few times in this hotel, and love everything about it, highly recommend it, bedroom was lovely with a front view looking into Leinster House on the right, lovely bar, excellent location near the shops, restaurants etc, lovely staff in particular Vicki on reception who remembered me from staying before, a sign of a good business woman. Look forward to returning very soon. Well done to all the team at Buswells Hotel
Lovely hotel right in the most fun part of Dublin, near shopping, restaurants, Trinity College. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was good, and the bar was a nice, cozy spot.
Great hotel even if our stay was just for one night, wish we could have stayed longer
Homely feel, excellent service in all areas, staff very efficient, friendly. Good choice for accomodation, central location, good range of meeting rooms, bar and dining room clean and comfortable, and the penultimate test, price of a pint of plain rates very competitively with nearby bars.
If you haven't had the experience staying at Buswells, you haven't experienced Dublin. The rooms so comfortable and it's staff so cordial, I would put it on a "must" list of places to visit. It was charming, food delicious. I'm not sure how they are training their staff, but I have to say it's unlike any hotel experience we've ever had and we've stayed in many five star hotels. I think the experience that is hard to replicate is that everyone at Buswells cares that you have a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you Buswells!
Lovely, newly renovated hotel. Breakfasts a little overrated though.
Great location for walking to many tourist sites and pedestrian malls. Thriving area with lots of pubs, restaurants and shops. Hop on hop off bus goes right in front of the hotel. Lovely breakfast in the hotel. Welcoming lobby. Compact rooms.
This was a lovely old boutique hotel in a convenient location. The concierge was so helpful and gave us great recommendations. I stayed in a single room and it had the best bed of my entire trip to Ireland! If I am back in Dublin I would stay again for sure!
Great hotel, great staff, great room, great location. Definitely worth the stay! It is comfortably-distanced from Temple Bar so you can walk there if you'd like, but can also fall asleep at 10pm.
It was my first time staying here and will definatetly stay again. Location, comfort, food and staff were great.
When you come for a short stay and you don't know Dublin, this hotel is an excellent choice
Loved, loved, loved this hotel! My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights and we really enjoyed tge hotel experience as part of our Dublin experience. Rooms are wonderful. Staff was beyond kind and helpful and the restaurant was a comfortable place to hang out for coffee or food. Highly recommend.
Busy hotel that hosts politicians from across the road in Dail Eireann.
will definately recommend to family and friends as location could not have been any more central, close to shops, tourist attractions and plenty of taxis, local buses near by to help get round Dublin
We've stayed here twice now, and wouldn't consider anywhere else in Dublin. Besides being a great hotel, it's close to the City Centre, Temple Bar, Trinity College, and literally across the street from the admission-free national museums.
Great stay! Our small group of friends - as always - had a lovely time. Everyone was so helpful and the warm and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and bar is fabulous. Rooms were spotless and breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of everything. Will be back!
Elegant old building with modern amenities and extremely friendly staff
Great place to stay. The customer service was great and the overall atmosphere very nice. It's an older hotel, but very well maintained.
