If I ever come to Southern Ireland in the future Buswell's Hotel will be at the top of my list to stay at. Good job you guys!

Met my daughter for a quick coffee and ended up staying for lunch. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Great little resting area.
Comfy spot for a chat and a good gawk at the interesting clients
Beautiful building. Sandwich a bit dry. Ate half of my salad and saw a caterpillar crawling around the other half of the salad. Instantly not hungry.
Warm, friendly, relaxing hotel. Will stay again. Hope there is no mix up with the bar bill next time. Everything else was excellent.
Great place to meet friends for coffee or a drink. Was there for a meeting. Excellent facilities for same. Very helpful, friendly and professional staff. Historic venue also.
My top favourite hotel in Dublin. Friendly, welcoming, efficient with a warm old world atmosphere. Excellent service throughout and the breakfasts provide a marvellous start for each day.
Beautiful interior. Old world charm with great service.
So lovely, lots of cozy nooks to curl up with a cup of tea. Will definitely stay here again.
The staff were all very friendly and so helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and well supplied. The location of this hotel is perfect.
Everything was excellent, staff, service, food, bar. The only draw back was the room was small but this did not spoil my overall experience and would always stay and recommend Buswells hotel.
A very nice hotel in the heart of Dublin. Excellent staff. It is very close to the National Gallery and other cultural sites.
Giving this hotel sigle star, because of the business I regret dealing with in this premises called "A Hand Tailored Suit". Research more about the business before allowing it to cheat, scam and lie to people. Can"t believe how such a fake company stayed in your hotel, lured customers and stole peoples money. Shame to the hotel.
My Wife and I had the pleasure of staying in Buswells Hotel recently and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time. If you want a traditional service delivered by kind hearted people who care about what they do then the Buswells Hotel is the one for you.
In addition to the excellent service the hotel throughout was exceptionally clean, thanks to Mary & her Team, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding luxurious. On a personal front a special 'Thank you' for Paddy who always makes us feel so welcome.
Need free parking , wud use again, breakfast very good. Bathroom cud do with upgrading , otherwise room very nice
Helpful staff, good food and a central location. I would recommend!
Just loved staying here so central we could walk everywhere and Staff so helpful and nice and great breakfast will definitely be back
Our experience at this hotel was excellent. We stayed four nights in October 2015. The service of the staff, (Desk, Concierge and Room Maintenance) left nothing more to be desired. The Front Desk staff in particular was very accommodating, including confirming our scheduled trips in Edinburgh, Scotland).
The concierge was well aware of the evening hour activities in other establishments and completed reservations for us.
The overall 'feel' of this establishment was very comfortable.
This hotel is also well situated for walking to various parts of the city, Including crossing the river to the north side. Grafton street was lust a few blocks away and Trinity College (The Book of Kells), and St Steven's Green are literally 'around the corner locations.
As tourists, we feel that we could not have made a better choice in terms of of hotel quality and location.
Excellent, no hassle, service as always and very comfortable during these extraordinary times.
Good place to stay, next to stephens green, shopping area, all pubs and attractions points around the corner
Was wife, myself & wife's sister. There was a separate room for the sister to sleep. That was nice & unexpected. On the downside, it seemed the shower had no COLD water. So the HOT only shower was like lava ( your water heater is VERY efficient ). We could not actually stand under the water. It was way too hot. It turns out, the knob that adds COLD to the mix was just very tight. It seemed to move to a point & stop ( and leave you with the lava shower ). But if you really force it, it turns further, and the shower become NICE. That was the only complaint. If not for that, I'd have given a 5 star rating. We intend to travel to Ireland again, and will be looking to stay here again.
As my very favourite hotel I find as soon as I go into the foyer I feel welcome.
The staff, the atmoshere ,the comfortable and stylish rooms , all meet my expectations.
Great location and a very convenient centre for a stay in Dublin .
Great stay and sleep
Relaxing breakfast with great host Dec 2nd 2016
Love this hotel. Great atmosphere. Good food . Comfortable rooms. Staff great
A little jewel! Lovely surprise! Great location and very good service.
We had a very nice experience at Buswells. The staff is simply amazing, the bar is bustling with couples, families, and friends. We enjoyed the live music over St. Patrick s day weekend. Food was good, although we never made it to breakfast, but heard it was good. Great location and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.
Staff very attentive & atmosphere lovely. Would go again.
Extremely pleasant. Great staff. Helpful & friendly.
Lovely hotel.very clean, well run and managed. First class breakfast with quality ingredients cooked to order. Reception staff particularly helpful. Only downside is that the bedroom was very small.
Great central location by the library, quaint layout inside. Food, drink, rooms and staff all fab!
We chose Buswells primarily because of its ideal location. The hotel has real character and the staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection to choose from. The family room was warm and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Overall a Grand experience and not far from the night life in Dublin.
First time visit but won't be our last, great little quaint hotel in Dublin Centre and just a short walk to both Grafton Street and St Stephens Green.
As good as any 4 or 5 star hotel in the area.
Lovely central location. Welcoming staff and good food at a very reasonable price
As a Dubliner no longer resident, its a joy to spend time in Dublin again and regularly stay in an iconic hotel like Buswells!
The hoipoli of government officials and me for lunch which was average
One of my favourite places to meet people. Great food, friendly staff and cool, traditional setting.
Beautiful entrance very festive feeling had lunch great value and choice staff very helpful and frendly love there xmas tree at front .will go back
Very nice hotel very nice staff great atmosphere would stay tthre again
Very nice decor very convenient and great location. Had an enjoyable coffee break.
Fantastic old world charm. Great breakfasts. Great atmosphere in the downstairs bar.
Love the food at the restaurant plus free wi-fi .YY
would stay here again...thank you for a pleasant home while we were in Dublin
Nice staff and a nice old world feel right in the heart of the city
Lovely hotel, wonderful location within close proximity to Trinity, St Stephen's Green, Grafton St, Dublin Castle and Temple Bar. Staff were wonderfully accommodating and kind. Great stay.
a charming Hotel with impeccable service. A great location to walk to al the sights.
I love Buswells, it's location and old worldly charm. There are too many hotels that all look the same and have no character or warmth about them. Have recommended Buswells to several friends and hope to return before the end of the year. Keep up the good work and pass on our compliments to all staff for a job well done.
I enjoyed a very nice afternoon today with a friend. We found Buswells Hotel very comfortable and food lovely. The staff were friendly an service excellent. A lovely visit and i will be back again soon.
The only disappointing aspect was that on a number of occasions during our stay, parts of the lounge were roped off or marked as "reserved", with no one sat there. Only once did a reserved sign give a 'time reserved from' sign.
On one occasion, the seats in the reception area also had reserved signs on the tables. It turned out that the reservation was for people who were not staying at the hotel. As paying guests, we found this practice rather irksome, as we had been asked to move elsewhere from the reception area - there was nowhere else to sit!
Polite staff. Vlaue for money for that sort of hotel.
The Buswells Hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, staff attentive and service very good. Add this to the convenient location of the hotel and we will definitely stay at the Buswells for our next stay in Dublin.
Great hotel in a great location.
Only negative point was noise from the street, next time I'll ask for a room at the back of the hotel.
Will return for sure.
Impressed by staff and general attitude - Mary at front desk and Andrew the Night Manager. Others in breakfast dining most helpful and friendly.
Loved how close the hotel is to restaurants and museums in the heart of the old city. Great access to the Hop on/Hop off buses and walking distance to other attractions.
Just stayed the one night but the hotel and service was brilliant. Don't usually leave reviews but thought I would for this one as it was perfect from start to finish.
Nice location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Paddy!
The hotel had everything you would need, was happy to spend time in the hotel as the warm friendly service you got made you want to stay in. Will stay here again if travelling to Dublin again in the future.
Place is cool, pint a bit pricey. But it frequented by "guys with deep pockets"
Wow this place has changed enormously in the past 10 years! While something of a cultural landmark due to its location & the varied kinds of intellectual activities held therein the place is now a lovely cosy 'old school meets new school' hotel restaurant & bar with helpful kind staff. Great place for hanging out.
Nice hotel, with intricate hallways and English style. Is very central
I loved staying at the Buswells Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Dublin.
Had a xmas lunch with my former workmates today
Excellent food cud not be better allied with the top class and friendly staff.
Buswells is one of the best and cosy hotels in Dublin.
There is just no better place for a quiet comfortable seat and a pint of your favourite tipple. Great place to hear each other and chat.
The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Such a reasonable price for an awesome experience. Loved the cozy fireplace sitting area in the lounge. Great rainfall shower and nice touch with complementary sparkling water waiting in your room. Also within really short walking distance to some great pups (shout out to the Dingle whiskey bar and O'neils) as well as St Stephens Green, a lovely park with a pond.
Call in for the carvery lunch Great staff especially Gabi
Really lovely hotel, a perfect experience. Not far at all from centre. Attentive, friendly staff. Clean room. Would definitely stay again!
I will warn people about staying at your hotel. Your staff is rude and disrespectful, your service is worse and to make your guests freeze to death is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE....especially to do this to a single woman traveler!!!
Lovely old fashioned hotel. Great atmosphere. Well worth a visit
My partner and I arrived into a warm and welcoming Hotel..we felt at home and we will stay at Buswells Hotel next time we come up to Dublin.
I loved my stay and felt very secure and comfortable for three nights. Only thing, as my room faced the front street, with a window opened I could smell the smokers cigarette and cigar smoke below.
It would be fabulous to have a French Press coffee maker and grounds in the room too.
My second stay at Buswells. This time I brought my parents along. They loved it. It's our new home when we visit Ireland! Fantastic location. Very helpful staff.
If you are in town around Kildare street
And want a coffee on the upper side of things well buswells hotel is the place
For you very very nice old hotel
And you know what you just may see a minister or two here in the day
Enjoy your cup a
My husband and I stayed here June 28th & 29th, 2019. Absolutely LOVE this hotel. Our room was extremely clean, and the staff are AWESOME! With no directional point of reference we tended to get lost easily, and were constantly asking for directions. The doormen and the reception staff were extremely helpful and patient with us. I love the fact that you can walk into the lounge area and have as mush tea as you can drink at no additional charge. Our room package included a full breakfast, but just what they deemed to be "continental" was so much more than you would get at a comparably priced hotel in the U.S. They are close to stores and many restaurants, along with the Irish Museum of Archaeological History and the National library. Will definitely stay here again, given the chance.
Loved our hotel room here! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the splendid breakfast each morning. We loved the location as it's essentially just across from Trinity College and within a 15-20 minute walk of a lot of the major attractions to see in Dublin! The staff were all very friendly, very helpful, and went out of their way to make sure their guests were comfortable.
we always go back to Buswells when in Town. for the reasons of its ambience, value and centrality.
We loved our stay at Buswell's. If we visit Dublin again, this is the hotel for us. By pass all the hotel chains and take in the history and charm of this Irish Boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is fantastic. Dinner was superb and the breakfast was plentiful with many choices to start your day. For those people that need caffeine in the AM, the coffee served at breakfast will do the trick. No Starbucks for me!
Buswells is a singularly superb traditional hotel the like of which is fast disappearing - in all honesty the finest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff are long serving and treat you as an individual not a number. You'll never find another Buswells.
Excellently located - close to lots of amenities, eateries and attractions but still quiet, and with nice large rooms. A great base for visiting the many museums and galleries in the area. The only issue is that there are numerous small split stairs, so people with mobility issues might find it difficult.
A very good hotel, with an excellent price-service relation and an unbeatable location, right in the middle of Dublin
Pleasant comfortable hotel in fabulous location in the heart of Dublin's cultural and shopping district. Very clean, excellent service with welcoming efficient staff.
Lovely old world charm. Food looks very good too. Friendly staff
