We really enjoyed.... Weekday pass is 59.99, the same as the single day. Plan ahead.
$20 to park, $15 or $20 for a locker depending on size, small is carry on airplane size and large locker held 4 towels with a fanny pack. Just walk to the car and buy 2 beer for 7.99 each instead. Wear flipflops, because you'll have no skin left on the bottom of your feet. Do every ride!

A real disappoint, we went in August and half the slides we're closed yet we were still had to pay full price!!!! 117.00 for 2 people. And we were never never told half the park was closed when purchasing tickets. The walk ways between slides are lava hot! For your well being wear aqua shoes.

We celebrated Birthdays at Adventure Island. We bought the one day advance tickets . We also bought the Key West loungers that had 2 loungers , a large umbrella and a very large locker to keep things safe.
I like the layout of the park and the many places you could go to eat. They had food stands ,cafes, buffets, beverage places throughout the park. However very over priced for the type of food you would buy at a State Fair.
There are a variety of rides from slides to rafts to share with your family, many fun pools for kids and adults with many activities to enjoy.
Wait times were over 30 minutes . Just when you think it was your turn ,the people who had the quick que pass would be allowed to go in front of you over and over.
We tried the wave pool several times but it was not working. The frustrating thing was that even though they had a least 6 life guards and one with a microphone no one announced that the wave pool was not working.
It would go into its count down for the waves to start and nothing would happen. we waited about 30 minutes and the lifeguards just kept blank stares on their faces as many people would grown and comment!
We also bought the Key West loungers that had 2 loungers , a large umbrella and a very large locker to keep things safe. They cost $119 and they were overlooking the rambling bayou.
However people who did not pay to be there came and enjoyed the loungers for Free! There was no attendant monitoring the area and we were there for 5 hours. 3 families came and sat at 3 lounging areas.
We had our name attached to our umbrella but the key for the locker is at each lounger for any one to use. So these people took advantage of it and I am sure they knew what they were doing. There was no one available to speak with. Also ,across from our loungers were the Cabanas and they cost $400. They also did not have any one attending the area. So again anyone could come and stay for the day!
When we were exiting I spoke with someone at customer service about it and she said she would let someone know. There was no offer for compensation.
The 3 one day tickets plus the $25 for parking (why?) plus the $119 for the loungers that anyone can sit at and the $80 for food Is really not worth it...

I've been here numerous times. It is a great little park. Lines were not long at all, but have been here when there has been long wait times. Be prepared! They have bathrooms and gift shops and drink/snacks at different locations. Stay hydrated!! Great for kids to splash around as well as adults to enjoy a thrill. Well worth the 2 park pass if you live in the Tampa Bay area.

Rip off as it can not get worse!

Rip off as it can not get worse!
The park is actually quite nice but the conditions are no longer reasonable. You must not take food or drinks in the park. This is also meticulously controlled at the entrance which, of course, long lines again arise. In the park there is completely overpriced very very bad food. The chips dripping with grease, the meat tastes like nothing the salads are withered. Even worse are the staff who are completely disinterested in the guests and in addition to make fun of them. A beer costs $ 10.30 and lunch for 2 children and an adult $ 52.20 as I said actually not edible. It should also be noted that the parking lot now costs $ 25. Rip off high 3! Here you can not go without feeling cheated.

I was expecting more but there was still enough since it wasn't crowded. A lot of the items were closed but it looks like they're adding more for next year.
I really disliked that many of the trees dropped acorns-like, hey, I'm walking around barefoot here!

Who wouldn t love this place. We went on the last day of the season and it was kinda cloudy and somewhat rainy, which worked out perfectly. When you can go to a water park and never wait in line, it is a gift from God. $15 locker rental and $22 dollar parking.

My family and I went to adventure island over the summer. It wasn t crowded in the morning so that was nice. The water rides were so much fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. But when riding the water slides it was pretty disgusting because you could smell the pee from the little kids.

1 ride closed to maintenance, one ride closed because it's not staffed (water was running), lady watching the lines for the curl ride doesn't know how line optimization works and how if there is no line, walking unnecessarily though a 100 feet of empty line flat out annoys all of your guests. Plus most food and drink locations closed all day during the week or opened up around 12. Besides that it was a good day.

Today I am not going to give a good satisfaction review, Among all the Pandemic situation, we decided to reserved a fun day at Adventure Island Park, our first time, was fun, although it rained and we had to leave early, so this time I thought it would be different, I purchased a All day Meal deal with a 10% membership discount, the first meal was Chicken fingers with waffles fries, and a drink with a cheese cake dessert; You could visit every 60 minutes at certain locations, with your wrist band. I am diabetic, I constantly have to eat something, so I went to the other location for some BBQ ribs, got on line because of there was a big crowd gathering and I am a 64 year old girl, and on top of it my health situation. The servers were very attentive, however I was not aware that the 60 minutes waiting were not over, since the line was long, I thought I would not have any problems, but I did, after waiting on line under the sun heat, I was told, even after my plate was already served, with the lines over crowded, with the distance between clients, right at the register that I had to wait 9 more minutes before I could eat, being an elderly woman and almost to the point of fainting, the manager took away my plate, please don't tell me that something else could have been done, or an exception. I am very disappointed with this manager Bonnie's decision to not bend the rule to avoid someone getting sick. Don't know if I would consider renewing my membership with this park.

Very nice water park owned by SeaWorld Park Entertainment. The wait times are not so bad compared to other water parks. You can run through the whole park without have to purchase their Quik-Que. Food not so badly priced. Will definitely return to keep the fun going.

The weekdays are pretty good, the rides are a blast, the food is good, and the bathrooms seem to be cleaned often too. Also, the park seems very clean and sanitary! However, the weekends are way too crowded and the customer service is slow- at least an hour wait. The prices for food and things are otherwise reasonable, except the locker price. $15 dollars for a tiny locker is a redicilous price to pay at a water park that is very dense and crowded on the weekends. It seems like they are priced so high because they don t have enough lockers to accomodate any where near capacity that enters on the weekends. However, there is also not enough seating on the weekends so you are kind of in a bind, I don t enjoy that feeling. A cell phone/wallet locker at a reasonable price would be a great simple addition. I don t foresee us coming back on the weekends.

First time to Orlando and to any of the parks. We planned our vacation in January to go to the Bahamas. There are 6 of us and we wanted to go to Adventure Island more thang any other park. We only had one day to spend in Orlando and not even 1 hour after paying over 600$ it started to rain. We did not even get to ride half the rides we wanted because all the rides were closed due to the rain. Everyone was so disappointed and now we were out a good bit of money. I don't even know why they would allow people to enter and spend so much on tickets when they know how many rides will be down. This shows the park has no customer loyalty.... Last time we will go to the park. At least sea world closed because of the rain... Guess they don't like robbing customer...

Brought my four and a half year old granddaughter ...

Brought my four and a half year old granddaughter here and thought she was at an in between age for this water park. Too old for the kiddie area and too young for most of the attractions. She did like the wave pool, lazy river, and the little slide, but the rest of it wasn t really appropriate for her age. We had the food pass, but be aware that you cannot use it more than once an hour, you can t use it at every food area, and the snack stations require that you buy something to get something with your food pass. Their website doesn t explain this clearly. And the lines are long to get your food and the employees are not always trained well. For example, we went to a snack station that had about seven people working there, and about five people in line to order when the manager called a staff meeting while people were waiting to order!! So dumb.

Bathrooms were dirty so be prepared to get grossed out. And some of the pools were dirty too. I get that when you go to public attractions like this you re going to be faced with long lines and some unpleasant side effects, but hopefully the management can do a little bit better than what we experienced at this park.

About Busch Gardens Adventure island

Busch Gardens Adventure Island: Tampa's Premier Water Park

If you're looking for a fun-filled day in the sun, look no further than Busch Gardens Adventure Island. Located in Tampa, Florida, this water park is the perfect destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. With over 30 acres of water attractions to choose from, there's something for everyone at Adventure Island.

One of the biggest draws of Adventure Island is its wide variety of water slides. From high-speed drops to winding twists and turns, there are slides here that will satisfy even the most adventurous visitors. Some of the most popular slides include Colossal Curl, a four-person raft ride that takes riders through a series of twists and turns before dropping them into a massive funnel; Vanish Point, which features two drop slides that send riders plummeting down nearly vertical drops; and Wahoo Run, a family-friendly slide that winds through tunnels and around curves.

But it's not just about the big thrills at Adventure Island – there are plenty of attractions here for younger visitors as well. The park's Splash Attack area features smaller slides and interactive play areas designed specifically for kids under 54 inches tall. And if you're looking to relax after all that excitement, head over to Rambling Bayou – a lazy river where you can float along on an inner tube while taking in views of lush tropical foliage.

Of course, no trip to Adventure Island would be complete without sampling some delicious food and drinks. The park offers several dining options ranging from quick snacks like hot dogs and ice cream to full meals like burgers or pizza. And if you're looking for something refreshing on a hot day (which is pretty much every day in Florida), be sure to check out one of the many beverage stands scattered throughout the park.
