Just attended a beautiful Bar Mitzvah Kiddush catered by Shaike. To merely say it was wonderful & delicious would be an understatement. Shaike s presentation was beautiful and the food plentiful. Please don't waste your time with this so called kosher catering co. The food is far beyond the words that would come to mind when having a rotten piece of chicken. It is customary to also say in this situation that the service and communication provided by the office staff is on par with an Indian Call Center trying to sell you solar panels. Stay Away - or go buy frozen meal mart and microwave it. Shame shame shame.

My mom's 80th Birthday was quickly approaching (less than a month away) and I wanted to make her a Surprise Birthday Party but with my busy schedule I just didn't have the time to do it on my own. I spoke with a friend who told me to immediately call Shaike's Events & Kosher Catering as they had just done her son's Bar Mitzvah and each and every guest had told her that they had never been to a celebration so unique. From the minute I called his office, I already knew my friend was in fact right. The office staff was amazing as they were so kind and customer service driven, somehow with his busy schedule they were able to quickly make an appointment to meet with him. We met and with his easy going personality and his listening to each and every detail, Bam, Done! The day approached and when my mom walked into the party room to see 75 of her family and friends, tears were rolling down everyone's eyes. From the passing of the hors d'oeuvres to the Miso Glazed Salmon all the way to the end of the party with just 1 more of Chef Shaike's many creative specialties (his Chocolate Explosion presentation), I couldn't have asked for more. The food and presentation were beyond belief, the staff was exceptional and to complete the party, Chef Shaike sang Happy Birthday to my mom in Hebrew........... Thank you Chef Shaike for making this very special occasion happen and I will most definitely recommend you to EVERYONE who is looking for a caterer for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Weddings, Holiday s Corporate events, and so much more. (I am looking forward to my delicious Passover Sedar with you) where I know my 35 guests will love YOU and all that you do.

Shaike catered a dinner for approx.100 people. He was given very little notice for this party, yet he whipped up all kinds of delicacies with such ease and yet great attention to detail. The food was excellent. Everything tasted amazing. What I especially admired was his artistic presentation making his dishes even more appealing. The deserts were a little slice of heaven. This was my first experience with Shaike's catering. I had heard from friends and family how much they enjoyed his food. I am glad I finally had a chance to experience it for myself. He will definitely be my caterer of choice if I need a caterer in the future. I highly recommend him!!!

I was recommended this place by someone that had worked with Shaike before. I choose them to do some catering for a business meeting I was helping organize. We just wanted quality and It was HORRIBLE!!! The food barely had any meat..it was all bread. We were charged extra - tacky. I was so embarrassed that this is the food our guest had. Never again will I do business with Shaike's Kosher Catering. (on a side note - the owner is a piece of work)

My wife and I have had the pleasure of making 3 Bar-Mitzvahs, one very other year for our 3 sons. With each son, we used a different caterer at the Young Israel in Surfside and had a wonderful positive experience with each. What really set Shaike apart from the others was the personal hands-on we had with him. Shaike was at both the Friday night Shabbat dinner for 110 adults and 40 kids where he was involved in plating every plate for our guests and walked around the entire ballroom making sure all of our family and friends were happy and were enjoying the food and drinks. The main entree chicken and beef were so moist and tasty that everyone raved to us how delicious the food was. 2 hours before the dinner we realized that we didn't have cloth napkins. Very calm and col, Shaike started calling around town to his contacts and somehow late on a Friday afternoon was able to have an Uber go and pickup napkins for the dinner.
The kiddush he put together for us that we hosted for family, friends and our entire shule after services was beautifully displayed, incredibly delicious and beyond plentiful.
We would highly recommend Shaike's Catering to anyone in the So Flo area looking for high-end kosher caterer. You won't be disappointed.

Shaike took care of the catering for my sister's wedding, a whole weekend in the Hilton Miami hotel and I was so delighted to deal personally with Chef Shaike because the way he took care of the fete was exemplary, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Shaike was very helpful in understanding my family's needs and was able to manage every detail of the weekend. For example, he has set up a 24 hour tea room throughout the weekend, so that guests can take food whenever they want. Shaike always gives us more than what we have in the contract. The presentation was magnificent and the flavors really won me over and my family was very impressed with the Chateaubriand meat which reminds me of my home. It has always been very easy to contact them, by email and by phone and the responses have always been quick. I wish you all the best and thank you very much for everything you have done for me. I have had the great pleasure of working with him on the event my friends and I were organizing, and tasting his 3- and 4-course meals, desserts (my personal favorites are his home-made "petits fours:" luxurious small cups and pieces of colorful desserts that satisfy your sweet tooth but allow you to try a couple without being too heavy or filling), and even LED-light and other displays and his create-it-yourself food stations that he engineers numerous times and at various occasions.

Shaike and his team were so professional and on top of this different event this year with COVID. I have yet to do a virtual gala with catered food being delivered to 12 homes all with unique orders, and Shaike and his team didn't miss a beat.
Shaike created a wonderful menu, and incorporated many items for it also being the 1st night of Hanukkah. The evening was enjoyed by all.

I ve attended the best Mother s Day ever. Venue2020 is so detailed oriented, that makes the experience so beautiful. When I walked in they had these gorgeous stone colored doors with copper handhelds I was surprised to see the changes adding innovative and modern colors, really beautiful. The setting up was impressive with these pink over layer colors in different levels with a French cuisine, Parisian theme. Venue2020 s professional staff welcomed me with a delicious cold mimosa. The buffet was so appealing I couldn t stop to eat, but I didn t wanted to destroy the perfect display, was so stunning. Every corner was thought to precision and beauty... not to mention the taste and flavors. Delicious mini apple pies, chocolate mouse, triple nuts brownie, mini cupcakes, OMG, then the savory station with cheese empanadas, French blintzes, bespoke omelet station with so much variety of veggies and toppings, love the white pitchers of the chef and the delicious seasoned mushrooms on my omelet. I definitely can t wait for the next event! Congratulations to the amazing team by Chef Shaikes affairs and catering! Bravo!

Shaike's Catering can compete and outclass not only all the other Kosher Caterers in South Florida, but as someone who does not keep strict Kosher, I can tell you that his food is better then most non-kosher catering.
His chef's have good knowledge of customs and foods from around the world and his catering style reflects as such. The meats are always moist and properly cooked. The desserts are amazing and will leave you coming back for more.

i have been to many of Shaike's Kosher Catered events and have always loved his food. I have been such a fan that i have used him to cater many of my own shabbat dinners. Recently went to an event and the food tasted like they were thawed out and not fresh. Don t use. I m sure they are expensive.
I was invited to a kosher wedding and I never had kosher food before, for my first time trying kosher food. I can definitely understand what is so special about it, Shaikes catering food was present in a way that I never saw in my life. I was absolutely impressed of every single detail from the crunch delicious appetizer to the most tender meat that I have ever had in my life. I got to met chef Shaike and after I got to know him and I saw his personality, I understand where everything is coming from. I loved the way he tried his employees and guest. Thank you Chefs Shaike one of my best experience in my life.
Our review for Shaike is both very good and very bad. Unfortunately, the bad experiences outweigh the good in these circumstances. In June 2016, Shaike was hired by our parents for our engagement party of approximately 80 people and the food and service was superb. We loved everything about his food, service and attention to detail and decided to hire him for the wedding. Given our positive experience we expected more of the same. We hired a wedding planner who sent all the vendors a very detailed timeline of the wedding obligations for all the vendors weeks before the wedding. Shaike did not follow the timeline and, as a result, one mishap after another occurred which revealed to us a rather negative side to Shaike we were not expecting. Shaike did not serve appetizers as our contract stated after the ceremony for our 200 guests who stood around with nothing offered to them for an hour. We pulled closed circuit TV footage to prove this to him after the fact. Instead he served a much smaller quantity of appetizers before the ceremony to the very few guests that happened to arrive early. During the reception as he was about to have dinner served, the wedding planner paused his servers for 5 minutes or so to allow the toasts and Hamotsi to be completed, which caused Shaike to loose his temper. At this time Shaike (as also seen on the CCTV) is yelling at the planner during my father's toasts in the witness of our guests! Try to visualize this - the caterer yelling at the wedding planner during the father's toast making a scene. The food was very good, again, but the service was unprofessional. After the wedding had passed - when we tried to find a resolution about the unserved appetizers and his lack of professionalism - we observed even more shocking behavior from him. We provided him video footage to prove the lack of service. And yet he chose to blame the planner rather than take responsibility for his actions. He offered us a "gift" versus a refund, but then decided to blame me for someone else's review and then threatened me in exchange for his "gift." Here is a quote from one of Sheike's emails "Stephanie, as we are currently preparing your wedding gift, we notice that your very negative review (where we see that you keep changing names) still appears on our google review page and we would appreciate if you would remove immediately and never write another negative review again. Also, please sign and date this document stating that you or any fictitious name/s be used to write a negative review on our google review page. Once this has been signed and dated we would very much like to send you your check." In conclusion to this review, Shaike creates wonderful food, but the lack of integrity we observed may not be worth the stress. In the end - we asked him to keep his "gift".
My family and friends have used Chef Shaike's catering services several times and every time we have amazing food and gorgeous presentation with a combination of LED and wooden displays! My family hired him for my little sister's bat mitvah last week and the dessert stations were a big hit with the kids! We highly recommend him!
Ask him about the chocolate explosion station, it is something we have never seen before and was not just great food but also entertainment for all the kids!

I m a Latin girl that lives in Oregon and I just happened to be in Miami for my aunt s wedding at the W hotel in Ft Lauderdale and it s the first time I had Shaike s Catering food and I wanna shared the best experience of my life with the online world, I never write reviews before but this is worth it! I m from a Latin family with strong roots and we all had a very good experience with food service. I stood by the station and asked the chef what exactly was it and he said this is Shaike s super tender roast and I received a plate that look like a piece of art, on the bottom was a edamame mash potato and I never saw mash potato in a beautiful green color and the flavor of all the ingredients combine was in a perfect balance, on top of that it was a beautiful square glazed super tender meat that I was standing up and eat it with a fork and it was tearing by just putting the fork down and the sauce that they put on top gave it the final touch sadly I don t remember the name of the sauce but it was delicious.
The best experience was when I saw the circle fried plantain I felt like home...it called my attention because I didn t know that you could fried plantain with the peel on! and you could see the circle of the fried plantain beautiful and mouthwatering experience.
I been to some events catered by Shaike s and it s my favorite caterer in the Miami South Florida area, the food, the presentation and the service is a true 5 star catering. My daughter bat mitzvah is coming up next year and we are definitely going to use you.

The buffet setup is beautifully built, the quality of the meats (lamb) exquisite, the choice of vegetables and textures displayed refreshing, modern and new. I have been to many Jewish events all over south Florida over the past 20 years. Every time I have attended an event catered by Shaike s catering it s always been an amazing experience. The very last event I have gone to was my best friend s daughter s bat mitzvah. I was very impressed by how traditional food was turned into an immaculate presentation. LED lights illuminated the display and clear signs explained exactly what dishes are. My favorite was an assortment of black truffle rustic flat bread on the pizza station that I could customize with different topings made fresh on the spot by a chef. For dessert, I tried an amazing fried Oreo that was super crunchy and delicious. I dipped it in dulche de leche and candied almonds. Thank you to Shaike s catering for always delivering on exceptional quality of food and presentation. The memories last a lifetime!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my experiences with Shaike's kosher catering. The first time I had Shaike's food was at the Chabad house on Lincoln lane and I was completely blown away by the food. I have been to a few other events in the community that he has catered and he is always spot on and EXTREMELY detail oriented. Shaike is one of those rare people who actually cares about his customers. He analyzes his portions well and is very generous with the amount of food he delivers for his listed prices. I learned this when I reccommended him to my boss and he used Shaike's for his daughters engagement party, a shabbat lunch and for shavuot (at a synagogue). Were all beautiful and delish!

I have had Shaike's catering at numerous events and am always impressed with his work. The food is the highest quality and his presentation is excellent. Shaike is an amazing cook and an awesome guy and you should definitely have him cater your next event!!
