Young guy could do with some lessons in manners, smiling and eye contact. Looked like he'd rather be anywhere other than taking my order- and to anyone being served after me.

Tasty and freshly made burgers.
Took the one with truffle mascarpone... Terrific!

Took ages, asked for crispy bacon and it was soggy, got one lump of avo and it seems like the buns have changed? Very disappointing :(

Amazing staff and unbelievable food. Definitely the greatest burger joint in Town...the guy Shubnav is exceptional to deal with - ask for him every time he goes the extra mile!!

These burgers are never not good! Just a little irritating that they replaced the V-Dub Vege burger with a vegan-only option... Not every vegetarian prefers vegan stuff!

Regret to say the place was not clean the tables sticky the toilet filthy we had a double American muscle which was very greasy after many years of enjoying burger fuel this maybe the last very disappointed

Food was HOT .
They did however forget to put onion in the bbq roadster.but when asked about whether or not onion was ment to be in they immediately took the burger back and remade and came out fresh and hot .
Will be going back again

Ponsonby staple! Amazing burgers and awesome service. Great experience... changed my order and they accidently bought out 2 burgers when I had only paid for 1. The awesome staff gave me the second one on the house! Love it! :)

Great variety burgers. Delicious meaty burgers with tonnes of filling. Highly recommended if your looking for a high quality burger.

Staff were unfriendly, guy on the till didn't know what he was doing.. i had to ask to have my change back from the cash I had given him. So many flys everywhere. It was hard to find a clean table, none of them were wiped down properly and there was lots of rubbish. Also found it weird that there was a dj playing night club music at around 7pm on a thursday? The food was ok.. but cant say i'll be coming back!

Burger Fuel vege burgers are so tasty that I order them even though I am not a vegetarian. Combustion Tofu is silky and crisp, with an addictive peanutty sauce. V8 Vegan has this delicious grated beetroot thing going on. Service is great too. Visit this place almost every second week, great service and atmosphere. My favourite is the Bacon Backfire chicken burger. As burger joints go, this place is not to be missed.

The new late night menu is rather limited. No milkshakes or motobites!

Good range of burgers in the style of big fresh ground beef w fresh lettuce etc tasty and filling. Smaller version available for the less ravenous.

Absolute shocking service on 2 January. Came in with three friends at 3.25pm. I only ordered Motorbites, whilst the others ordered a burger and fries each. 25 minutes later, one burger comes out. 45 minutes in, the other two burgers came out, slopped on the plate so that they both fell apart straight away. Standard service is 10-15 minutes. It wasn't busy but I heard two other people complain about the ridiculous wait. Eventually when we asked 40 minutes in, we were given no explanation for the wait and said they would check on it. I had to be asked by a staff member what I'd ordered. An hour later, I received the one small thing I'd asked for. We were given two motorbites vouchers we can only use at Burgerfuel Ponsonby between four of us. I thought it deserved a refund. Unfortunately the only person who was helpful was the staff member who just started near the end of this mess and was apologetic. There were about 5-6 people working and I could hear chatting in the kitchen almost the whole time we were waiting/ Would not visit again. Burgerfuel Parnell are Six-star in comparison to Ponsonby.

Wait times can sometimes be quite long, but otherwise fantastic service and the food is great!

A Kiwi institution. Go the 1/3 Pounder with Cheese +Add salad. Mind blowing.
