Pharmacy for scripts very fast less than 30 minutes

Not sure if it was the owner or manager but he was an ass for no reason won't go there again

I purchased two packets of surgical masks. I tried on three different masks and the straps immediately broke free from the fabric. I then ask a friend to try a mask on which she did, twice, with exactly the same result. Clearly the product was defective. I went back to the store to return the masks and was told they could not be returned and my account would not be credited. I have been a client for over twenty-five years, however I no longer am and will not be in the future.

Sales person was terrific very knowledgeable and helpful. Loved the store everything but the kitchen sink and maybe that also...

Very cool store!!!! We were lucky to have a local tell us about this place and we're so very happy to have found it. They have so much stock and options on what one can shop for and buy. We really enjoyed walking around the store. The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed talking to them.

We were in Homer in our 5th wheel and lost our gas heat. I wanted to purchase an electric heater to get us through the night until i could repair the gas regulator. I arrived at Ulmer's as they were closing. I started 2 sentences: 1-"Do you have(electric heaters)" and 2-"We are in our RV (without heat)". Both times I was interrupted with "our cash registers are closed."
They were happy to see me leave and I purchased a heater elsewhere.

I don t know what people are talking about!!!! I finally decided to give a review this is the third time ulmers Customer Service was rude, The last time was a assistant manager go figure I don t have to give them my business Fred Meyer s is just up the road and Amazon is at my fingertips you would think they would get it by now. I am hoping I do not have to walk in that store again. btw if you re looking for something in there and don t bother they never have it on the shelf... from experience I have been in there looking for ad items numerous times oh we just ran out and it s the second day of the sale what ???? They must think we the customers are really stupid, so done !

The store has everything from hardware to clothes to household supplies to pet items to toys to fishing and camping stuff. And everything in between!

Great service. I want to especially thank Mariah for going in the back room to search for some beach themed items for me when it was out of season and Mike who helped me with propane fittings even though it was not his area of expertise. Both of these people went out of there way to help me and I really appreciated that!! THANKS!

Everything you need but its expensive! Only shopped there once eneded up going to walmart for what i needed instead friendly staff though and clean

Great little store. Has pretty much anything you would need. Prices are very expensive, but that is to be expected in this town.

I went back for a second time in two days.
Both times trying to get a gas line and accessories for my oven, both days it was almost impossible to get any help.
Then after someone was paged to help,
He spent about a min. with me then walked away to help someone else with out bothering to finish helping me.

A good place to get what you need. Good selection of fishing/hunting gear. Didn't really have to interact with anybody cause everything was easy to find so I can't really speak to that.

Have lived on the peninsula for pretty close to 10 years I USED to get prescriptions filled there at pharmacy but after repeated oh we dont have or dont have enough I had enough. My last trip there was to purchase a handheld propane torch.. Surprise get back home and it wont stay lit at any setting Yeah my LAST trip there..

I overheard a store clerk and a customer talking negatively about me. They said I was probably on meth and looked like a drug addict trying to steal items. I was followed around the store. I spotted one old woman who worked there, hiding, no joke, literally hidding and trying to blend in with some items just to scope me out.

Now the owners make some b.s. comment on how things are being worked on here, but the truth is their terrible employees will not be going anywhere as long as they are the only game in town.

The pharmacy is top notch! Steve is SO helpful and knowledgeable about my meds. A true asset!

What the old style hardware stores used to be, the little bit of everything of all you might want. In addition to the hardware and an actual pharmacy, clothes, toys, household goods and even a full blown fabric store with a number of Alaska theme fabrics.

Ulcers is just a great place for everything.. I love this place.. whenever we come to town, we always go there..

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely worst customer service experience. I had a question about a pair of socks and the sales lady was unbelievably rude. I honestly feel like I put her out for the 17 seconds she replied to me. Then she had this bitchy attitude towards me after. Another sales lady looked me up and down and scoffed. Did either of these rude ass childish grown women ask if I needed help, if I was looking for anything. NO!!!! If you hate your job that much and don't want to answer questions maybe you need to find something ELSE!!!! I put everything down I was going to buy and walked out. It's shocking to be treated so rude in a tourist town where your customer service needs to be TOP NOTCH.

We found everything we needed here and the staff were friendly.

UPDATE: The owners read this and stated they will use this example in their future training. That were overly concerned. Definitely will go back!

Was in need of some insulated gloves, Haley Hansen rubber bibs, Muck boots and some other gear that a friend needed for a job.

Also needed rope. Bob was nice and helpful suggesting which rope would be best suited for the task at hand.

When we went to check out we also had an exchange.

The big overalls didn't have a price tag so Debbie, the cashier, called Marilyn to check the price. As usual Marilyn was smiling, friendly and helpful.

Last visit in there I went in for some Salmon Sister XTraTuf rubber boots.
I was looking for a specific design and Marilyn went in the back looking through the new shipment to see if they had them in my size. She even called their "sister store" to see if they had them which was unexpected and a pleasant surprise.

We've purchased fishing poles, gear and this is our go to store for anything Alaskan when we are in Homer.

The guy behind the gun counter seemed a bit reluctant to let us leave our new merchandise there while we sought out the rest of the things we needed but once I asked him his name he seemed to cheer up and offered to check us out right there.

All in all a good experience and nice people.

It would've been nice to have a bit more interaction and personalized customer service to start with. I had to force interaction and start asking names before I felt like we were being assisted.

Next time maybe an escort instead of pointing in the direction of all we needed since there was a sense of urgency and we could've used the professional expertise on gear.

Again, have to point out the Marilyn lady's enthusiasm. The first woman told me they didn't have the boots I was looking for....Marilyn actively looked.

Great selection! Lots of nesassary health supplies. They have both name brand and generic versions for those on a budget! Go here to get your Alaska souvenirs and even toys for the kids! Check out their vast Lego supply! My idea for them to diversify the market! They have everything you need here!

run of the mill hardware store , inside the place reeks of chemicals like roundup, in my opinion they need to deal better with the inside air quality, i wouldn't be surprised if staff suffers health issues because of it. they claim that their employee's health matters yet they still carry Roundup !
