Food was very good. Service was a little iffy. Took a while to get attended to by the waiter. But after that it wasn't too bad. Fair prices and good plate sizes. Would recommend!

Loved their Clams, Fried shrimp, and Fish N Chips, fantastic! WEnt there couple times.

Cioppino was very good. Price was fair to. I need to go back and try other things.

Grilled "fish and chips" for gluten free was good. Had great vegetables instead of potatoes. Nice portion size. Everyone seemed happy.

The clam chowder was chunky and flavorful. The oysters and mussels were delicious. The seafood pasta had too many noodles and not enough seafood. Very good meal overall. Waitress couldn't tell us where the oysters and shrimp came from and if it was a sustainable source, so that is the reason for the 4 star rating

They have great happy hour deals, I really love the clam bar my favorite.

This is a great place for socializing. Sitting outside on the patio area is relaxing and the view of the harbor adds to to the relaxation. The food is made well and has tasted fresh every time.

What makes this restaurant is the views. Set on Ventura harbor with stunning mountain views it is hard to beat this restaurants location.

Waiter was fast, friendly & listened to our needs. Good service. Good beer selection. Bloody Mary's were good. Food was served hot and good portion size. Enjoyed the fish & chips. Good view of the harbor. Overall a very nice place.

Clam chowder was great, we had the scallops also. Dont forget to try the parmesan ranch dressing. Yum. We'll be back

We went on a rainy Sunday. The lady at the register told us to sit at any table. We picked a table by the window. We sat down and then a server told us we could not sit at the table, there was a waiting list. We said sorry, the lady at the front told us to pick a table,...

Nice casual dining. I came here with my two daughters for dinner. Food was very good, cooked to perfection. The service was also great. We were never wanting- waters always full, coffee kept warm, plates cleared... but not overbearing or too present. A great experience.

Very nice place, great food great service, great drink, great view. Little pricey but it's all worth the atmosphere and vibe. A special place for special times

Pros: Great place if you are in the mood for seafood, want to be near the beach and in Ventura Harbor, casual dining, friendly staff, open patio, and portions are good. Cons: Restaurant on the smaller side and there's usually a wait, not good for a large group.Atmosphere: Casual

The best Clam chowder on the West Coast. Fresh seafood with a nice bar with an awesome view of the Harbor.

The food was incredible and the clam chowder was unmatched! We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the harbor. It was pricy, but definitely worth it for the special occasion

Great food but very, very noisy. Waiting for outside table would have been well worth the wait.

We had to send back the tuna melt. The rest of the food was bland aside from the clam chowder which was excellent. Service was not up to par. Great view of the harbor from the outside seating. That's a wrap folks, not exactly a place I would recommend but I may go back in a year to see whether or not they have improved. Always willing to give second chances when it comes to seafood and a great view over the water.

Super good seafood, reasonably priced. Good portions, great flavors. The Oysters Rockafeller is to Die for! Usually very busy (a very good sign for a seafood restaurant)... but it means you might have to wait a bit. The waitstaff can vary in quality but we've never been outright offended and usually either the view, the other waitstaff, or the food itself makes up for it. We'll always be back for this terrific restaurant.

A great place for seafood. Go for happy hour and sit at the bar. You will meet chatty locals and get a view out the windows of the gorgeous Ventura and Santa Barbara Hills. The bartenders pour to the top and are gregarious. They have a great happy hour menu (steamed clams are excellent) and the grilled fish sandwich is a family favorite. Get there early because there will be a wait starting around 6:30.

Came here with my wife and son, their menu has a variety of dishes for both adults and kids. Their clam chowder was delicious and their crab cakes have been the best I've ever had. We will be returning to this place.

I like the clam chowder much. The service is fast even on busy days.

First-time visit beautiful setting was disappointed in the shark sandwich. Was not cooked properly and smelled a little fishy took home recooked and then it tasted all right. Friend had clam chowder and it was very thick and tasted like it had too much flour. Returned to Kitchen to be replaced and second bowl was better

Great food for a packed hall of seafood loving people. The portions are huge and the fish is amazing! Afterwards you can chill out on the beach or go check out the pier: to be a whale or seal is for you to decide.

The service is always rapid, great atmosphere, very kind staff. I will visit again when I arrive nearby.

Been here several times. The service has always been very good. The restaurant offers a gorgeous view of the Ventura Harbor and sprawling hillside. The clam chowder was very good and a perfect starter for a chilly evening.

We love Ventura harbor and our first time here. Shared the fish and chips and was plenty for two. Price is affordable especially considering we're at the harbor with a view. Great value and our server was very upbeat attentive and friendly.

Always my go to when wanting tasty seafood and a great view of the harbor and coastal mountains. Nice bar and restaurant. Good service.

If you get a chance, eat at the bar. Not only were we seated faster, the service is amazing. Oyster shucked before your eyes and drinks made to order. My only gripe was our steak was a bit over cooked. Not so bad that we had to send it back, just enough where we needed some steak sauce. Anyway, back to the great parts. Sourdough bread was amazing! The servers raved about it too and said they get shipments daily from Santa Barbara. I need to find that place. Anyway, clam chowder was equally good and of course, went perfectly with the bread. Last but not least was the side pasta that we received with the steak. It was a special order and a modified menu item that comes with shrimp. It sounded great and my GF wanted to try it, but we had a late night planned as a comedy shop and didn't want to over eat. She also doesn't eat shellfish, so that worked out too. It was pretty busy, but the server and kitchen staff accommodated our special request to serve the same pasta with butter lemon sauce instead of the regular side and so glad we did.

Next time I'm in the area, will be back here for sure.

First time here...we ordered the fish and chips and the Calamari plate. My boyfriend and I shared each of our meals. We both agreed that they are the best we've ever had. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places in the Ventura area. We prefer the patio, which is kept warm enough even on cold nights. Great harbor view.

Great food , great service.We tried the beef taco , burger and sliders and Mac and cheese everything was good but their famous dessert was the one we like the most.

Foods okay views are impressive... best thing isnt on the menu.

A first rate establishment with some of the freshest seafood anywhere! I live in Los Angeles and drive up here twice monthly just for the calm chowder alone.

Never miss a chance to visit for the view over the bar while munching on a Cold Combo and sipping a choice Boilermaker, top shelf whiskey and beer!!! The best Oysters Rockefeller you will find. They Fish, they Serve and the can Cook!!!

The hostess told us we were up for the next booth. After waiting at the bar 30 minutes and watching the table being cleaned she sat another couple, saying we didn't have a pager, which she never offered. She saw our anger and offered to get the manager, we declined. Nitwit airhead attitude. Fortunately Beau, our waiter, was very good and helped to salvage the afternoon. Next time...Andreas across the parking lot.

Not as spectacular as it used to be, but lovely to be out. Upstairs patio which has the nicest ambiance was closed for remodeling. Shame on the for not posting on their website. We drove from the SFV hoping to be upstairs.
