We always have a good time here and the food is delicious. We prefer to sit on the outdoor patio, because the dining room is a little bit loud, but even on a cold day the heaters keep the patio nice and warm. Beautiful views of the harbor. The servers know their business and their menu, to the point that our waitress was able to suggest a gluten-free soup that wasn't even on the menu.

Food was excellent! Ahi Tuna Poke was amazing! Claim Chowder some of the best I have eaten anywhere. Blackened Cajun Sea Bass was great!

Excellent food in a fun, casual atmosphere. Can get quite noisy. Staff is friendly, abundant, and accommodating.

Wonderful food! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My go-to are the appetizers! Service was absolutely spot on and absolutely worth the wait.

Fair quality of fish, but not exceptional. Service too fast (they bring the next courses before the previous ones have been consumed, the hot dishes become lukewarm before you can taste them)

Have never had a bad meal at Brophys. Freshest fish, great bread. I love the cold platter with fresh clams, oysters, shrimp, crab meat, ceviche. You cant be that for $18 + atmosphere and harbor view.

Seated quickly and wait person was very nice and attentive. Food was great portions and tasty. However, the table wasn t clean, sticky, as were the salt and pepper shakers and silverware for one person had stuck on food. The restaurant smelled like urine after we were servd food. The floor and carpet getting into the elevator was filthy as was the overall appearance of the center. It was very noisy inside and hard to hear or carry on conversation. Won t be back.

The food was great. We went for mother's day and it wasn't to crowded. Salmon was excellent!

It is a while that we didn't go to this restaurant but the food is great and we always ordered fish and chips. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is great.

They have two locations, both are very good! The Santa Barbara marina location is my favorite seafood restaurant in SB, with an unmatched view of the harbor but with maybe too many tables crammed into the smallish location. The Ventura harbor location has the same great food but with much more elbow room. Expect a wait at either location.

Had a seat viewing the boats in the water. My server was awesome. I just wanted to wind down and watch the sunset. Didn't want a meal. She said take your time... and she meant it. Oh..and the food was awesome. I had Calamari. Yummy, fresh and good.

Great food and our server Laura was outstanding! We enjoyed dining on the deck with heaters as it is winter :)

Great service, beautiful views, delicious seafood. I will definitely be back again to try many of there other dishes. Loved it, the patio seating was great. Thank you to the manager, staff and cooks. You all did an outstanding job.!!!

First time to Brophy Bros. Nice upstairs location with great views of the harbor/boats. Booth seating is hard wood benches or tables not close to the view. 3 of our party had the Shrimp and Crab Salad. The portion size was generous. Loved the Basil Vinagrette. The sourdough bread was yummy/chewy and there was plenty. One in our party had an Albacore? Poke Salad, which she asked to be cooked well. It arrived partially pink and was returned for additional cooking. It was good, although considerably smaller than the other salads. Prices for salads were in the mid-teens. The 'other" side of the menu had meals in the mid-twenties, too much for my lunch budget, although they looked promising. Overall, pleasant servers and good food. I wouldn't order the same salad again. Nothing to write home about.

Food was excellent and worth the price. Outside seating gets loud when it's windy. Glasses are small and require refills often. Servers are very accommodating. Overall a superb place to go.

My son and I tailgated with some baked clams, oysters rockefeller, and a crab louie salad from BB! Delicious as always, no reduction in quality with it being take out.

One of my favorite places when there is one where I am. I love the view, the atmosphere, the crowd and especially the food. The oysters never disappoint and the drinks and service are good. Prices good. Love it.

The one in Ventura. The downstairs restroom was DISGUSTING! It was so nasty downstairs, I don't know how or why anyone would trust to go upstairs. NEVER going back. Gross!

Great view and nice staff. Food was good. I ordered the fish and chips which fish was crisp outside yet moist and flaky. Would have loved if Bread was warm instead of cold and tough. Overall happy with my visit.

Service is great, staff are friendly and food quality is consistent! The one in Ventura Harbor is in a very scenic location with ample parking...though getting there earlier is always best!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Brophy's. Our dinner left nothing to be desired, we shared four dishes and everything was exceptional.
Our server Hayden, was terrific and he made us one of the best bloody Mary's we've ever had! We go to back every chance we get.
We especially recommend the "garlic baked clams"...out of this world!!

Large portions of excellently prepared fish, great view, but long wait for a table.

We were vacationing and looking for great clam chowder. Referred to Brophys by cousin and were so so happy with the referral. This was the best clam chowder we have ever had and sitting at the bar with the very friendly staff made it that much better!

Very busy, but a great place to eat. All I wanted was a bowl of clam chowder & that's what I got. It was awesome! Great service too.

Clam chowder is off the hook or course! Margaritas as strong. Pina colada was straight juice. Staff was friendly and gave honest suggestions.

The cippino was very tasty but there wasn't much fish in it.

I placed an order on their website for pick up to avoid the wait. It estimated that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. It was. After picking it up I drove around looking for a place to park and eat where I could see the water. Took about 20-30 minutes to find a great spot and get set up to eat. When I opened the hot food, it was still steaming. Brophy Bros has always been one of my favorite restaurants and I was bummed about having to order pick up because in my experience pick up/ delivery food is never as good as when you get it straight from the kitchen. But this was absolutely NOT the case here. Everything tasted just as amazing as it did back when dining in at a restaurant was easier. Wish I lived just a little closer. I'd eat here every day if I could.

Great location in the harbor, second floor with great views, very reasonably priced lunch compared to most places in the area. Food is tasty!

Great clam chowder...my fish n chips were a pool of oily mess on my plate...waiter was great though...all in all barely mediocre

I've been here several times w/ co-workers during the day time (no dinners). I really love the place, especially sitting outside on the patio w/ a view of the water and the boats, it is really serene and relaxing. The service was great and the food came out promptly. The clam chowder is EXCELLENT, a little better than at Andria's which is right across the parking lot, but the food is more expensive. I liked the fish and chips too, the fish tasted more fresh, not like the frozen, processed, dry battered fish that is all to common elsewhere. The fish was juicy and hot.

The good: no monosodiym glutamate. Nice view of the harbor.

Food is average overall. Smaller portions. Too much bread as filler or coating. A bit pricey for the quality of food.

What a great casual dinner for 10. Had supper fresh seafood range of appetizers and main dish. Super friendly service and help keep wine and food full and well paced

I was there with my family having a meal during my visit from Washington. It was very fresh and delicious. We had ceviche and fish and chips and drinks. The staff was very pleasant, freindly and our meals were served quickly.

Large menu in a diner environment. I've tried a few items and they were all pretty good (although I wouldn't recommend the steak and eggs). The fresh house-made salsa is delicious. We were in a semi-private room off to the side that was perfect for our large group.

Breakfast is served all day and they have their own parking lot.
