First time purchasing a car. Felt like the gentleman that helped me didnt listen at all and totally made the whole experience not worthwhile. I had to call in numerous times to fix the paperwork and two months later still have yet to get my money back from what Im owed. WORST EXPERIENCE ....I do give joe a thumbs up.

This is just a review of their service department.

I took my Tacoma in here for an oil change. The service was prompt and friendly; however, when I went to open the hood the next day I found the hood release cable disconnected. When I got it reattached and the hood open I found the air filter housing open and the air filter only partially installed. It was halfway out and the only thing holding it in place was the hood when it was closed. I find this lack of quality control from a dealership to be unacceptable.

I reached out to Toyota first by their direct contact information in an email they sent me and when I didn't hear back, I called them. On the phone I was asked to leave my number and a manager would get back to me. That never happened.

Working with Monica Singer was one of the most easy-going, no-hassle, no-pressure experiences I've ever had purchasing a car. She was friendly, warm, had a great sense of humor (something that is important to me) and was open and honest. She worked hard for me and was attentive at every point of the process. She's a gem.

Ahmed was also great at no pressure negotiating. I was ready to hold off on the purchase simply because the numbers weren't quite where I needed them to be to feel like it was a personally responsible decision, but he kept working for me without making me feel stressed out or trapped. Richard was also killer with the paperwork to get me out of there in under 20 minutes once the deal was closed. Great experience overall with Toyota of Portland.

My windshield wiper fluid was not working. Andrew assisted me with getting this looked at and fixed. It turned out a rodent had chewed through the tubing. I did not wait at the facility and Andrew kept in contact with me. It was fixed faster than expected. When I came to pick up my vehicle he made sure to provide me with a picture of the chewed tubing. I love the courtesy Uber s!

I made an appointment for 45,000 mile maintenance ...

I made an appointment for 45,000 mile maintenance which is basically a tire rotation, and was told it takes hour to 90 minutes. Well after waiting for over three hours was told they can not get my tire off because they don't have the tire key. I can't believe a shop with 20 service bays can't rotate my tire. I prepaid maintenance when I purchased my truck and they can't even rotate my tires. I regret purchasing pre-paid maintenance after this. I bought tires at Discount tire and they will rotate for free. So what I really paid for is 7 oil changes for over $2000. Love my Tacoma and have no regrets buying truck but not thrilled with the service. Another lady also waited for over three hours and was told it doesn't matter if you have appointment it is first come first serve, so it's pointless to make appointment.

I purchased a 2017 Prius 3 Touring with only 12,995 miles on it for a great price. The service was above board and Roman Diriyenko treated me well - he was knowledgeable, very helpful and he went out of his way to help this old man (Old enough to be his father). Initially he sent me a video of the car, then patiently answered all my questions. Took care of some minor details he did not have to do even after the sale.
So I recommend Roman and the team he works with including Ed.
This is my 4th vehicle I have purchased from Toyota of Portland over the years and probably not the last. They always get to service my vehicles.

Thanks Toyota of Portland and a special thanks to Roman Diriyenko. If you are reading this, ask for Roman when you go there you will not regret it - tell him Dan sent you - that will get you a free cup of coffee in the lounge.

Brian Lowe and the entire team at Toyota of Portland were amazing to work with. This is my third truck I've bought through them, and I wouldn't consider looking anywhere else. Six stars out of five!

There was some miscommunication about my service and when it would be finished. However they made up for it by reducing my bill from $530 t0 $415 and a complete detail of my car. I will be returning because I know they will take care of me and my family!

Excellent customer service! I scheduled a same day appointment for an oil change and since my car was just over 100,000 miles, Panchajany offered to have the technician perform a full inspection. I received a printout showing the status of all of the functions of my car and Panchajany clearly explained which items needed to be addressed along with estimates and a general timeline of when to have the repairs completed. I felt more confident and knowledgeable about the condition of my car after this service. All of this was done in a timely manner. Thank you for a great overall experience!

Adam was a great sales person. He was knowledgable, answered all of our questions and did not pressure us in any way. He was laid back and a pleasure to work with. The other staff people were also friendly and helpful. We bought and would recommend all of our friends use Adam and Toyota of Portland.

The first time I had a car serviced here was for replacing a recalled part on my old car. The vinyl interior was damaged while they were replacing the part. I decided to give them a second chance, and this time it went fairly smoothly, so I had no problem returning. The third time, they put the wrong service down in the appointment notes, so I had to reschedule and bring it back a fourth time. Then they forgot to order the part, so I had to bring it back a fifth time, which is when they lost my key for a day. I don't think I will be back.

Bought a 3-yr-old really nice used car last night from ED WEST - best dude ever. Super friendly service, not pushy at all. Ed really took his time to make sure we were happy, and he felt like an old friend by the end of the evening. He stayed late to make sure we got what we wanted and worked with us on financing. Super good experience! If you're needing a nice used car and don't want to deal with a slime ball salesman (as has been my experience at a few of the lots out on 82nd), come here and ask for Ed West.

Good communication, friendly service, and appropriate recommendations made by Joe our service specialist. Sometimes service at Broadway Toyota is slower than I would like, but overall the experience was good. I also find the physical set up a little confusing. Specifically, when I come back to get my car it doesn't seem totally clear where to go or who to talk to and I always end up wandering around a bit before figuring it out. It could be explained more clearly, or signage could be better. I will continue to get my scion serviced at Broadway.

I felt as though I needed to ask for help numerous of times when going in to pick up my van. I was concerned about price, even though the advisor seem like scammers. I was mostly concerned about my time. I got no rental offered to even though I just spent well over 2k. Overall the staff is limited with a lot of customers, and lowkey rude. Nobody smiled or was excited about anything or anyone picking their car up. Just routine acting and stressed out looking. This is my closest dealership but I feel some type of way every time I get services.

Amazing service as usual. This dealership knows how to do business. I'm always impressed with how quickly they pick up the phone, attend to your vehicle, etc. There's never anyone waiting around to be helped. It's really impressive.

I tried to work with the car dealership and be ready for my appointment. First, they lost my credit application that I filled out the night before. The sales person said it got lost in the shuffle and when I told him my concerns that very sensitive personal information is on the application, he back tracked and said it either gets filed or shredded everynight. They knew I was coming in the very next day- so why would it get shredded? Next, the finance managers don't think I can add. I'm an accountant and do amortization tables all day. I was not negotiating interest rates, term in years, or any of those factors. I came in to negotiate cash price. First night I was in, I understand it was late at night, so I said let's pick this back up tomorrow. The second night, they simply told me no. I wasted three hours for nothing when they could have just been smart and told me no when I got in. Why the back and forth?

In sum, it was a very bad experience and I can tell everyone here gets off on ripping people. When they have someone who is trying to negotiate, and comes in with spreadsheets, and has done plenty research, they don't even bother and give up and say no to any negotiations. If you want to be jazzed by sales techniques, by all means. If you want to a dealership who can work with smart people, go elsewhere.

They do take some time to confirm their shuttle service has you in their list. That kinda throws your scheduling for the day up in the air. Even if the driver was at lunch and it would take two hours, at least give me a time. Otherwise, the service dept is great.

The service center is great but the sales department is gross; they re so manipulative, dishonest and just not good people. Go elsewhere if you want to buy. Service here is totally a-ok though!

We were scheduled incorrectly, which they immediately fixed. Then the minor repair and upkeep were done promptly and for a good total price; of course nothing major in a Prius!

another episode - my skylight was clogged from tree debris. They got me a lyft to an appointment, cleaned the drains, and did oil check and all points evaluation. Another good experience here. Price was quite reasonable for all that.

Minh Nguyen, When you deal with Minh, you always win. He told me this over the phone and he was 100% correct. Him and Elizabeth Lim stayed late working out the details getting us a great deal. They were very positive and helpful in completing our transaction even though it was well past closing time. This team is the best I ve ever seen at a dealership.

Typical of a dealership, it took longer than expec...

Typical of a dealership, it took longer than expected and was more inconvenient than necessary.

First off, I was just trying to get in to have the recall work done and get the passenger side airbag replaced. I called in and asked them to order the part and call me when it got in. When I called back a week later, they have never even ordered the part, so then they *actually* put it on order. When I called back another week later, they said it could take up to a month, even after being told repeatedly it wouldn't take more than a few days.

Finally the part arrived and they called me, so I made and appointment and brought it in. They said it would take a few hours, but it actually took about 8 hours until I was able to pick up my car. They then tried to push a clutch replacement on me saying it was slipping, but I had just taken it in to a different shop the week before and they said it was fine. Overall, not a great experience.

Oh, and another thing, when you call in, be prepared to get lost in transfer hell as no one actually knows how to help you.

TL;DR Don't go here unless you have to for recall work or something. Find a trustworthy independent shop.

Overall, I had a great experience at Toyota of Portland. I was fortunate to have, Kat, help me out with my purchase -- 2019 Rav4. She was extremely helpful and did not push me into making a decision, which I appreciated. Anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle, should look for her if you do choose to go to the location. I highly recommend her! Joe, the sales manager, as well as Michael, the accessories manager were awesome at answering questions and helpful as well!

The only thing that I do want to mention is that I had extended warranty packages that were financed into my plan without my knowledge. These warranty options were not explained to me at all when I purchased my vehicle at the time. I recommend doing research on the extended warranty packages ahead of time and triple checking your contract before it is finalized. I have had to talk to several different departments in order to try and cancel these warranty packages :(

We were not able to purchase the Prius prime in Washington but I contacted Toyota of Portland and our salesman Daniel Musgrove told us he could help. It was the most pleasant experience he made sure we got just what we wanted and made the whole process Easy. Thank you Daniel Musgrove and the Team at Toyota of Portland for making my dreams come true!!!

I have been working with Chris Stone the past couple days in regards to a 4runner. This guy was courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and clear on his explanation with things. He got back to me asap and didn't make me feel like an after thought. I live in another state and about 5 hours away. If you want someone that is going to take time and just make sure it's the right vehicle for you, he is the guy. Even if you are not in his city.... Thank you Chris. Means alot to me.

I just purchased a new Prius from Broadway Toyota. I had heard their ads on KEX radio and was curious about their claims of good service. I had underestimated it vastly. From the moment I walked on the lot they were casual, friendly, helpful, and not pushy. Matt was the guy I worked with - and he was great. He even called me to let me know of a sale. The purchase experience was equally pleasing. I did not spend a great deal of time, they gave me a great interest rate and even the business guy - Cameron - was pleasant, efficient, and not pushy either.

I cannot speak highly enough about my dealing with Broadway Toyota - hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had.

Service was OK; I had to call the service department to find out my car was ready for pick-up; then I had to wait to actually get my car even though I sent a message saying I was on my way 30 minutes earlier. I did have a rental car while my car was being taken care of for a recall of air bag; however I did not know I could get a free rental car for the day until I got there.

Jefferson was a great advisor during my car's service appointment. Kept me informed before and after the service. He made sure I knew what the technician be working on and the exact pricing. My car was ready in less than 90 min. Also, he let me know what maintenance will be expected for the next service. Thank you, Jefferson and Toyota of Portland!

Very efficient sales team, extremily welcoming and accommodating! They even offered us snacks and drinks during waiting periods for paper work. Anwar (our sales person) even let us play Gucci Mane during the test drive and was straight up with us about everything. Only down side was the paper work took quite some time to draw up to buy the car however talking to Anwar helped ease the new buying anxiousness down.

Horrible. I asked for an out the door, all fees, tags, etc quote, and got a very nice number. Went and test-drove, and when it came time to write a check I was informed that there was an "error", that they didn't understand what out the door meant--"I'm a new employee." This sure seems like classic, old-school car salesman run around. How any sales manager can not know what "out the door price" means is laughable. Understand, I have a written quote that says "out-the-door." Not if they were the last dealership on Earth would I buy from them. Fortunately, I have options, and so do you.

The five star review is for Mike Taylor specifically. I lost my key to my car and had to get a replacement. I was leaving the next day for a road trip vacation and was stressed about it getting done on time. I had my car towed to the dealership first thing in the morning. After calling multiple times throughout the day and getting no straight answer as to when my key would be done I came down to the dealership personally to check on it. After getting the run around again the manager told me my car was being held up because they couldn t find the keys!! No one knew that was the whole reason it was in the shop.

Finally by 530 I got my key. When I went to pay I was in tears, between the tow fee, the new key and labor expenses I was out close to $600. I was so frustrated that I had my car sitting there the whole day and no one even knew why it was there or thought to tell me that the multiple times I called. Mike saw how upset I was and waived all the labor cost associated with my key. I was so thankful that he was understanding and took accountability for other people s mistakes throughout the day. I appreciated his kindness so much! Mistakes happen, hell im the one who lost my keys, but he stepped up and did the right thing by the customer. Thanks Mike!

The service at Broadway Toyota was great! Andrew & Austin provided great service all around. I was provided with a lot of detail on what was being done to the forerunner so I felt comfortable with them working on it. I will definitely take my vehicle back there again for their exceptional service.

We showed up to the dealership to look at a one ye...

We showed up to the dealership to look at a one year old used car. We ended up passing on that particular vehicle in order to purchase a new car they had in show room since the price was close enough that it made sense. We were able to have a friendly negotiation where we got a fair price and did not feel like we were taken advantage of. This entire process was very positive, although once we signed for the car and were waiting on delivery the service took a turn for the worse.
We struggled getting calls returned letting us know when to come in and finish the paperwork and pick up the vehicle. When we did come in and do that paperwork they mixed the VIN numbers up with another car on the lot and we had to do the paper work again. This was not a big deal, just an example of the transaction as a whole. Once we received the call letting us know that the car was in and ready for us to insect and pick up we headed to the dealer ship after work showing up around 6pm. The dealership manager happened to meet us at the door when we came in and sent us to the service department so we could insect the extras we had done to the car. The people in the service department could not figure out where the keys were and then had to call another employee that was off of work and at home to find out. Once this was figured out, we were sent back to the sales floor to look for Adam, otherwise known as The Leprechaun . I can appreciate a good nick name, but this was not professional, and I was starting to become more frustrated with the process.
Once we found Adam, he was on the phone so we waited. While waiting some of the other salesmen began looking for our paperwork and keys to no avail. When Adam finished his phone call I approached and politely introduced myself to him, and his response was a short and impatient retort explaining to my wife and I that he was on a business call. I explained to him why we were there and looking for him, and he responded by tossing the paperwork and keys for the car onto the counter and telling us that he doesn t know anything about this car and that is was just dumped on him. At this moment, everything went south, more words were exchanged and other sales people stepped in to calm the situation. Apparently Adam thought I was another sales person that worked there. The dealership manager ended up doing the walk around on the car and our final paperwork. He also listened and seemed genuinely sorry for our negative experience.
Ahmed Abdellatif, and Ken Scott were the two sales people that I started with. Both of these people were very professional and nice to deal with.
Adam O niel, was the individual that we were directed to work with when we picked our car up. We must have caught him on a bad day. Probably the most unprofessional interaction I have ever had, and I deal with contractors in a sales setting for a living. With that said, I would make sure you do not deal with this person if you choose to do business with Toyota of Portland.

I went in several weeks ago to see about trading in my leased 2016 Tundra Platinum edition on either a 2018 or 2019 model for another 3 year lease, my salesman John while fairly new was good and we looked at what they had on hand to fulfill my needs, we settled on a model and I discussed what I would like to see payment wise, then he left to go talk to his "Manager", he came back with another gentleman who started to discuss my requests, I was informed by him that I was "under water" by about $2700.00 on my truck, I then walked out, so that would mean that I had no equity in the vehicle, simple fact is that the lease buyout was just under $32,000.00, that particular vehicle would retail at about $37-38,000.00, and while I clearly understand that they're not going to give me full retail for it, the under water statement that they made was a flat out lie, one of the reasons that I went with a Toyota was a strong trade in value, I spoke to a good friend who has a brother who is the general manager for a large Toyota dealer in So. California, he ran my VIN and based on his honest findings the truck has a trade in value of between $34,5000-35,500, I just can't understand while Broadway Toyota had to be so deceitful with me, as a small business owner I could never imagine treating a return customer that way, my dealings with them in the past have always been very good, apparently something has changed over there and that's too bad for them, I was told by my friends brother that whoever in Portland asks him who they should deal with, he sends them all to Beaverton Toyota, I guess that is where I will head...

Update: I am amazed that the best that Broadway Toyota could do is to issue some lame computer generated robo-response to my complaint, if they were truly interested in trying to earn my business and to attempt to resolve an issue I would have thought that they would have attempted to contact me instead of telling me to contact them. In this day and age many companies like to use the term "Customer Service" so sad that so few really know what it means....

Got the truck I wanted, which is great because it s a Toyota. Downside is I had awful experience during closing with Mo. They are misleading and use bait and switch to manipulate you into a sale. I m sure they ll respond with a please let us know how we can help and remedy this bad experience . Try being honest and upfront about what people are signing up for. There s your solution. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

They've had our brand new 16' Toyota Corolla S for 22 days now. The communication had been horrible. We have to constantly nag and get updates. Their estimated dates of completion have been off from the get go. Our insurance company representative is furious as well. They quoted us almost 6k in damages which in reality the damages are 3200. We literally maxed out the amount of days we could use a rental through our insurance. Every time we call it takes 15 to 20minutes to MAYBE get ahold of a service writer. I was a car salesman for 10 years...this is by far the worst service I have seen or dealt with.

I already tried to leave a review via my phone but could not figure out how to submit. It was predicted that it would take 4-6 hours for the routine maintenance plus two recalls, so I brought my bike. I asked where to park when I returned and the service writer said I could just put my bike in his office. The work was done in only 2 hours, and when I returned I was able to do everything there, including paying, with the bike in sight. I was very favorably impressed. Of course, I was glad that there were no expensive surprises.

ABOMINABLE service and follow-up! We should be able the click on "negative stars". Previously, I was able to book service for my two Toyota vehicles without much delay. My last two appointments were booked about 10 days out. I also wonder why I should specify online what service I am requesting. Every time I drive up for my appointment with my Confirmation paper, I am asked something like "Hello xxxx, what are we doing for you today?" They already have in their system my name, my appointment time, and my requested service. Otherwise, what is their computer software good for? My last request was for 150K dealer recommended service. They actually did only a 5K servicing, changed a couple of air filters, but did not clean and adjust brakes or replace automatic transmission fluid as per the 150K dealer recommended service. Granted, my son delivered the car, but took the paper confirmation with him which stated that I had requested servicing that would cost approx. $196.45. Had I been there, I would've caught that only a 5K service was done -- what is their online system good for? I have emailed them twice and yesterday left a personal phone message for the Service Manager. No one has emailed a response, and the Service Manager has not returned my phone call. I think the dealership is under new management. My previous service advisor there gave me superior service, but he left Broadway Toyota a few months ago. Currently, I do not have any service advisor there--so I guess I'm just a nobody there. I will also have to waste some more of my time by paying Broadway Toyota a personal visit. I'm thinking I need to seek out my previous service advisor and where he is now working. The dealership's location is very convenient for me, but that's all it has going for it.
