It was amazing and outstanding. The first time I felt like I was going to die because of the height. I went at night and felt a bit braver.I fond it heart filling when I saw it at night. It was like going into the dream of London and the LED lights were the light to love and I m wanting to go again in 2020 Christmas

London Eye ride is recommended on visit to London. Been on it several times. Weekdays have low rush. Some people combine it with Cruise ride. The wheel moves so slowly that you won't feel as if you are riding on a wheel. Around 40 min ride

Loved it! A great way to have a superb panoramic view of London, especially on a sunny day! The ride is slow and calm and allows you to enjoy the view.
On the ground they offer a 4D experience clip of The London eye, they have a VIP lounge and of course, a souvenirs shop.
Worth it, it is iconic for London.

London eye is a very good place to have a bird's eye view of the whole city on a clear day. The view from the top is stunning and all the major highlights of the city are clearly visible from the top. The place draws a lot of tourists and locals and it can get very crowded on holidays and long weekends. The tickets can be purchased at the counter in front of the London Eye as well as online. It is better to purchase early and preferably online to avoid crowd at the ticket counter and to save time.

The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cant...

The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.

The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 160-metre (525 ft) Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 165-metre (541 ft) Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 167-metre-tall (547.9 ft) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014. Supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike the taller Nanchang and Singapore wheels, the Eye is described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel".

The London Eye used to offer the highest public viewing point in London until it was superseded by the 245-metre-high (804 ft) observation deck on the 72nd floor of The Shard, which opened to the public on 1 February 2013.

The London Eye adjoins the western end of Jubilee Gardens (previously the site of the former Dome of Discovery), on the South Bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge beside County Hall, in the London Borough of Lambeth.

In March 2020 the London Eye celebrated its 20th birthday by turning its pods into experiences in partnership with its sponsor lastminute.com. The special experiences included a pub in a capsule, a west end theatre pod and a garden party with flower arrangements to represent the eight London Royal parks.

Me and my girlfriend had such a wonderful experience up on the Coca Cola London eye. We went for the champagne experience and it was amazing. We was even lucky enough to pick a time that only had another 3 couples on so all in all there was 8 of us In one pod, there was plenty of room to really walk around and look from every angle. We had plenty of space to take great pictures with just me and my partner in the shot. We felt very lucky to have such a peaceful and spacious pod with a great host and other nice couples. We will definitely come back again to ride the wheel as when we was in London I saw in a magazine that I was reading one morning at breakfast that London is adding 72+ new sky scrapers to the city and I ve got to se I m looking g forward to seeing what it will look like in 5-10 years time when more buildings reach for the sky so I ll be definitely coming back for sure

Super expensive even after booking online for the discount in my opinion. Warped main big window so tough for photos. It was interesting but more money than it s worth. Only went round once, but others I ve been on go a few times around. Big Ben was also under construction so that was a bit more disappointing.

A must see.

A must see.
Just be careful: the spin takes more than half an your and, if it's Summer, the air conditioning feels like it's off, what caused me a little panic.

Unfortunately my first visit to London was during the COVID-19 lockdown and the London Eye was closed. Despite this the sight of it was spectacular. After only having seen it in books and on TV prior to this, it was a special feeling to stand next to it in the flesh.

An iconic landmark just diagonal to the Big Ben.

The queue is quite big but the ride is worth all the wait.
The view from the top is absolutely stunning as it gives you the whole view of the beautiful city.

I've been on the London Eye before, but this was the first time I've been at night and with my daughters. We all loved the experience, seeing London decked for Christmas and all the lights was truly amazing.
Even if you're afraid of heights, it feels safe and doesn't move in a jerky way.
Definitely recommend it at night.

What a view, what an experience. A must do when in London! Bring your camera as there are great photo opportunities. Buy your tickets in advance to make your visit more enjoyable. There will be a queue so plan to be patient. Please note that off season, the Eye s hours are 11 AM till 6 PM. This means that you cannot view London at night or enjoy sunsets from the Eye.

Really a great walk to get a wonderful view of the city. If you buy a ticket and you plan to go on the boat, you can get a discounted price with packaging them together. (Photos here are from the view within the capsule)

It may seem expensive but the are deals to be had all the time. Take a picnic and the franchised outlets are expensive. Some queuing is expected but download the Lego app and it tells you is near real time of the wait. Om some rides there's always a long que (mainly because the ride is small but popular) like the jetski (sort of) ride.

You can see whole London from top.
Take ample time as there is always a long queue.
Must see place if you are in London.

This place is so expensive, worst view of the city from inside at night time. But itself looks so good at night from across the river. I posted some pictures from inside and outside.

32 pods set on a big wheel overhanging the River Thames that rotates slowly giving wonderful far-reaching views of London & some of its iconic landmarks. The pods represent the boroughs of London. It takes 45 mins to complete a full revolution. Can take 20+ per pod.

Good experience, it's worth because you see all London and around areas from high view . It takes about 30 - 45 minutes and has a great view. The ticket costs somewhere at 35 but there's always the choice to combine with some other sightseeing and form a better offer.

I wents here and it so foggy I can't see four feet in front of me...a man's and woman's had a big argument and gets a divorce she grew her rings at him...I was laughing hard and he said he would kick my head in! So I give 5 stars!

One of the most iconic places in London. Easy to get to from Waterloo Station. Its always busy. Great Tourist Place to take pictures from of the Thames and London City. You can book tickets on the day or online. What an amazing experience. The view from the top was astonishing.

Yes it cost money to go here. DO NOT BE CHEAP WITH YOUR SELF GO. The views were fantastic. The experience is beyond worth the price. Be bold and make sure that you take pics from every angle... Also as the pod rotates make sure that you take pix from all sides. But pause.... relax for a moment... and just soak up the fact that you are in the heart of london. Go go go go go

Really nice place where you can see London city from above, a bit crowded but dont worry, the queue wait just took less than 15 mins (last january). Buy the ticket next to aquarium, near the london eye itself, there is a caffee and toilet More

It was alright, not sure if it was worth the ticket. A great place for a photo-op but maybe could ve been a better experience with a guide. Purchasing the ticket and the lines were not a problem at all. Going around and to the top felt a little ant-climactic.

Impressive view even if the clouds are coming. The glass roof and floor allow nice shots and the amount of people in a cabin still allows pictures without other people in the background. Pre-order for fast lane is recommended - else you need to wait up to hours during main hours.

Omg love love love this place. Thought I was going to freak out at the top but it was so lovely NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. Easy peas. Excellent covid distance routines . Staff amazing. Glad I did it. Thank you London Eye x

This is definitely one off the key features for London. Londin city is not London without the London eye. For the best view go on in summer at sundown its mindblowing. Well worth every penny but make sure you plan it so at the time you are at the top. Is at the peak off the sundown. At night its phenomenal looks very so specials. If you like views or pictures and paintings go upstairs.

Must see attraction for any tourist visiting london. Unparalleled views of the city. The ride is pretty long. Definitely over 10 minutes. The pod that you ride in, is spacious, has seating, and does not shake or jump up and down. You barely feel you are moving. However the line is extremely long. I highly recommend the fast pass which allows you to skip the line. Without the fast pass you will wait an hour on line

This Ferris wheel gives you an overwhelming experience through its capsules which take you up to great height likely above 100m and give you a landscape view of the whole city of London along with river THAMES.
I got opportunity to visit in day time but someday will surely like to visit it during night...as its very fairly bright and twinkling.
I think also one trip of single revolution took around 30/40 minutes ..
You get to watch the 360 degree view of this most hyped place of England.
There are benches in the center of the capsule as apart of seating.
I had a clear view to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The Tower and The Tower Bridge and the river Thames of course.
There are so many souvenir shops around by ..It was worth it!

Brilliant attraction with great views around the city, i didn't realise the size of the queue for the eye. It was extremely long and the waiting times are even longer. The other thing is the price to stand on something that takes close to an hour to get on and off, it's not cheap at all but for some definitely worth it. I didn't give it 5 stars because I never got chance to go on it because the wait was over 2 hours.

When I saw the line I almost threw myself in the Thames. But it is very well organized so you don t have to wait for too long. I want to say a special thanks the young lady helping people to climb in the wheel, who prevent my three year old to jump in the Thames.

This was absolutely breathtaking. The views are incredible. The view of the entire city is visible and depending on when you re up there you can witness one of the most beautiful sunsets. My suggestion is to tour London first. Take a tour bus or whatever your preference is and take a road trip to see Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the London Bridge and even the Thames river. When you re on the London eye, all those places come together and you can place it all in your head where every thing is. It was super cool to be able to identify all the places from up in the Eye!
