Loved it, great place to visit, you get to see so much once you are on the London eye, I recommend the brochure to see exactly how far you are able to see. I have lived in uk all my life yet never have I been on the eye until now, I would recommend this at least once in your life, it's an experience not to be missed.

It is recommed to visit. It is open from the year 2000. It is view on Themes river and the building surround. You should have time for q to buy the ticket and one round about 30 minutes
We've been on the London Eye a few times now as it's one of those 'must do' experiences when sightseeing around the capital. Staff have everything under control to make entrance and exit a swift and seamless experience and they don't cram punters into the pods so you're able to move around quite freely to take pics and enjoy the views. Young children will undoubtedly get a little bored after you've reached the top so be sure to take some treats and nibbles to keep them occupied
Can't go to London without going on this.nice relaxing ride with great views in this weather.didnt pay for the drinks pod though if they still have it.forgot to look.
It's alright. Overpriced, like many things in London. You can get a better view from the Shard for cheaper. It's hilarious how they let anyone with a stack of cash change the name.
I adored every singe moment of it, except for the waiting. There are long queues for tickets but it is definitely worth it. I waited for 2 hours, I think and then I entered the capsule. It takes about thirty minutes for the capsule to finish a circle. It doesn't stop, it just keeps on going, so be careful when you enter and exit. Of course, the staff is here to help - they are very kind and friendly. Around 8-10 people enter the capsule with you and it can get a bit crowded when the view comes to the Big Ben. Every single person wants to take a photo at that time. But, overall the view is very pleasant and you can see London from a different perspective. Near the end there is a big camera taking your photo, so don't forget to smile. When you exit the capsule a nearby gift shop offers you a variety of items so your time there can be more memorable - of course your photo is also offered. Don't forget to enjoy the 4D experience at the very end.
The prices for the London Eye are reasonable and well worth the purchase. I went at night with my brother and the views were amazing. The staff organizing the lines were nice and curtious. The lines take a little while to get through so plan accordingly with what you are doing during the day to accommodate for the lines.
A great way to see London from a different perspective. Very helpful staff Had a fantastic time. Look out for Kellogg's packs for promotions where you buy a kids ticket and the adult goes free so costs less than half price! (ends in 2020).
Absolutely awesome!! I have to be honest: I was scared stiff and had dreams of lying down on the seat with my eyes closed for the whole 30 minutes, the night before, but not necessary! It was scary stepping on and off, and for those a little faint hearted, have someone to hand to help you and don't stand near the edge of the pod, but other than that, it was brilliant. The views are stunning especially in the good weather we had
We purchased the ticket and got a ticket for a brief 4d video. 4d video was a very good experience. After seeing the video we have entered the London eye. We could see the whole London. Its a breath taking view.very good experience.
we will unfortunately no longer take up your offers for an unspecified time.
We are currently in an unsustainable situation. even if we get relaxed from our political decision-makers kept up to date, we would appreciate your service and your hospitality can only enjoy again after our fundamental rights have been fully restored.
We very much regret your current situation and hereby ask you to do your best possible to use it appropriately for the civil rights movements that have arisen all over Europe.
In the hope that the crisis will be resolved soon, we remain best regards as yours
You can buy tickets that includes the entrance for London eye and madamme tussauds. The view above is so beautiful! You can see the different tourist spots in London above.
Amazing views! Used this as something to do in the evening while I was visiting London on my own last month. There were no lines due to the quiet period, staff were very friendly and of course the views are spectacular! A great photo opportunity while visiting this city.
The experience at London eye was amazing. The team had taken great precautions in order not to spread Covid. Not more than 7-8 people are allowed in one capsule/wagon (not sure what to say :( ). It is sanitized before boarding & is sanitized as soon as we get off so that next set of people can board safely. The view, temperature within it, safety precautions, team was all good & more than satisfactory.
We did a beer experience for the 20th birthday of the eye and it was well worth it. It is definitely very touristy and when I did it last time (without the beer) I did feel a bit meh. It was raining when we started which was beautiful, the rain rolling down the pod is definitely a sight. But then the sun came out right as we reached the top which was also lovely to see. I'd try to go as an experience rather than just normal route.
fabulous, spectacular, speechless.. no words can justify the experience. you have to have to and have to be in that capsule to feel it, simply awesome and one of the must places in London.
You get the view of all London attractions from the bird eye's view like London Bridge, Tower Bridge, the Big Ben and enormous Thames River following across the city.
Kind friendly staff! Very clean area and at the shop they sell stamps for the post cards! Handicap accessible and the staff took great care. Ride lines are not too long, we bought ahead online, you can buy there but if you go around noon it s super busy, so buy in advance! They light up the wheel at night, very pretty.
Really enjoyed it and great accessibility for a wheelchair user. Furthermore, you must go and experience the London eye 4d cinema located near ticket desks inside. This is an amazing experience.
My third and best flight since this attraction opened. Now is a great time to go with restricted numbers in the Pods. Only myself and two others in our Pod so loads of room to move about. I chose a morning with fine weather and the views were great, you can see all of Central London and beyond to Canary Wharf and the Shard. No doubt will go for another spin later next year.
Brilliant experience, well worth the money, just a shame big Ben was covered in scaffolding, but that's just unlucky. I Would highly recomend this experience to anyone, even if you are not great with heights there is enough room to walk aroubd inside the cars and a big bench seat in the middle of which one of our group sat on being afraid of heights and they were absolutely fine for the duration. It takes around 30 minutes to do a full rotation. I would also recommend booking online prior to your visit as at peak times it will get extremely busy and you may miss out.
Great way to take in the tourist sights of London without walking around the city. I have done the eye several times and the difference between a day flight and a night flight is amazing. Being able to see the london skyline from this level is worth the price, even if it is a bit high. The panoramic view is just brilliant and it is a must even if you do it just once.
I liked the view up there. The only bad thing is that it was cold outside so waiting wasn't that fun.
If I can recommendend something it is buying your tickets online. It saves paper and it's harder too lose your barcode. When you go, don't hesitate for the queue. It goes quicker than it looks.
London Eye is situated on the banks of Themes River... One of the tallest wheel in the world. Will view the London City from the height of 135 mtrs. It is Very big Jaint wheel At nught, it glows like a ring ... It looks amazing. you can reach there by taking Underground Rail and get down at Piccadally circle station. By taking round in Eye, you can see beautiful view of London. Lush green garden. Awesom, great ..
It was a very nice experience and a must for everyone who visits London. The only thing we had a little bit of difficulty with was to get the tickets for the ride, but everything else was just fine. The staff was nice too and helped out with our questions so a thanks to you guys. Well done.
Super Duper Experience. Gives you dazzling experience in the evening. tickets cost About 30 Pounds for adults who can wait in queue. Queue gets cleared pretty fast. It gives you a ride for about 30 mins.
This was a lot of fun. Being able to see London from this view is amazing. It is definitely worth the time. I had the champagne experience and they have a private VIP lounge where you can wait comfortably for your time to get on the eye. I had a similar experience in Las Vegas where they had unlimited drinks this is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
The London eye was fabulous! The view of London was very pretty! I would suggest going in the afternoon or night! The lights are very pretty! You have a great view of Big Ben and the shard!
We loved this. What an incredible view. We rented the capsule just for us (family group) - it wasn't cheap but no crowds. We were taken promptly and escorted on to our private capsule. Great stuff and almost no matter what the cost - one that we will not forget. Suggestion - do this towards the end of a London visit. It will provide a great visual wrap up for everything you have seen.
What an amazing experience. We did the VIP Champagne lounge experience and it made all the difference. You get glass of drink before your flight in the comfortable lounge area located behind the wheel itself. You can choose either a glass More
Chocolate tasting with champagne was a great experience. Two times around, about an hour long and my wife who doesn't like heights did just fine, it was very smooth and relaxing. Highly recommend
London Eye itself is one of the biggest names in the world and does not need any description or Writing. But if I need to say something, I would say you have to get into London eye once if you have been to UK. From London Eye you will have a wide and whole view of the City of London and also River Thames. It gives you the view from different heights as it slowly moves upward a d then reaches the top and then again comes downward. In between you can click and capture the City in your camera from several heights and several angles. One of the best attractions not only in London, or in UK but in the World. This was my second visit to London Eye. Must visit if you are in UK
I love Ferris wheels and assumed this big old thing would be so fast and it would be a thrill, I was stood in a sweaty capsule for half an hour with my brother that smells of roasted peppers, you don't even go upside down at any point. I was sad.
Used the London Explorer Pass to get a slight discount for the Eye, very nice views and smooth ride. Air conditioned cabins make the experience perfectly comfortable, and photo ops present themselves constantly. Even though it was busy More
Could do with a visual screen in the pod - advising what landmarks are visible and where.... so, after having spent so much for the experience, you may as well spend the extra and purchase the photo book, as that identifies some of the main landmarks viewed.
It was one of the very first attractions of its kind when it started. Over the years many wheels (eye) have come up around the world in different cities and thus this kind of attraction has lost its charm and place as a must do for tourist. Nevertheless if its your first time in a big city enjoy the amazing views this place offers. You cover London like no other place from this height.
Had too much fun at coca cola London eye... Once in a lifetime experience..One Tip for ticket please take All in 5 Pass it's a good deal for London main all 5 attraction.. In London eye stand where photo sign is given you can see most of the city and beautiful view of River Themes from full height.
London eye is a good place to visit - i didn't go up, because of the huge rush and didn't find it much exciting to do. Seeing that from the ground was more fascinating.
You have some icecream vendors below, plus restaurants. Had fish and chips, which was quite expensive at $20.
Amazing views from the top. I was pleasantly surprised they didn't try to cram people in the viewing rooms. The fast pass is well worth it to skip waiting in line.
No need to mention that it's the must visit place for tourists in their itinerary. One can have the sky view of London once u are at the top ..though one may come across long lines for ticket and then entry but it's worth the wait .. The area below is very lively. Located at the heart of London. The London eye can also be seen from most parts of London.
Recommend to go just before sunset on a clear and calm day. You get pretty Amazing views and pictures. Don t go during cloudy rainy weather, it s not worth it.
DO NOT VISIT THIS ATTRACTION UNTIL COVID 19 IS OVER! We were packed in while queueing so tight that the people behind us were brushing against us. The minimal staff did nothing to reassure customers. We were put in a capsule with 3 other families and all of them removed their masks as soon as the doors were closed but with no staff in the capsule to enforce it. THIS ATTRACTION IS NOT SAFE!
If you're in London for some time, I'd definitely recommend going up it! The London eye gives a great view of the city in all directions on both sides of the river, and it lasts for at least a solid 15 minutes. There is a long line, however, because this is one of the most visited attractions in London. If you're visiting, make sure you come with enough time if you also want to visit other places.
Great Experience, for my Husband. I very fear of heights, so i stay at the Ground and spend money in Eye Shop. Next Year ( 2021) we will come back eith our Grandchilds, so : I stay again , walk next to the River Thames and Grandfather will have Fun with the Grandchilds " while riding the big wheel and have grat views"
Nice experience, though the crowds are a pain and price is high. Was better a few years ago when it wasn't such a commercial operation. Now you have to book in advance, pay an arm and a leg, suffer the throngs of tourists for 30 stuffed in a glass egg with barely enough space to enjoy it.
Great place to look on the city. I be with baby they ordered to assemble the trolley, which was heavy (two pieces), i.e. I had to remove the upper part to fold the base ...If there was no one with me, I would not have made it, and the ride would have missed me and I would have lost the money spent ...
Amazing views . We went on a Tuesday and there were no qeues . Got in pretty quick and only small groups in the pods . Had an awesome experience overall.
I went here with my fiancee for her birthday and it was amazing. If you can, I would recommend the VIP experience. We had access to a private lounge while we waited and a glass of champagne (we chose champagne). Your host will get you when it's time and they will direct you and help you in every way possible. Our host was amazing and was the nicest person! The views are unreal and being able to enjoy a cocktail while taking in the views was just a bonus!
We went to London eye for a cruise till Greenwich. The cruise experience was really good starting from London eye. Then the other day we took ride to London eye. It was an amazing experience. I have had this experience twice, once during day and other during dark. Both were amazing.
A must see when you re in London. The view from the pods are amazing. Best to take this ride when the weather is nice. It is a little more but the fast pass is better rather than waiting but also depends if it s high or low tourist season. Best to also get the tickets online rather than at the place.
I've always loved the London Eye and what it brings to london you don't really have to ask for directions you just have to look up and follow the direction of where you can see it. It's bigger that you'd think and is a main focal point for photos and selfies, situated on the south Bank just off Westminster Bridge and situated across from the Aquarium. Ques vary depending on the day or holidays or events in London like "trooping the colour or other Royal events, but we'll worth the wait. There is so much to do along this stretch before, or after you have been on the Eye or if your not going on the Eye you can just relax an mingle with the thousands of tourists just soaking up the atmosphere. If you carry on walking past the London Eye you can walk all the way up to the Tate modern gallery , the Royal Festival Hall, the National theatre, Shakespeares Globe, the best bridge in the world imo the Millennium Bridge which you cross for St Paul's Cathedral just a 10 minute walk and just keep walking and your end up at Tower Bridge but all along the South Bank from the London Eye is a beautiful atmosphere with different accents and languages. With plenty of food and drink all along. And is a must do.
fantastic experience, i cant wait to go on it again. Views are great, its slow so you cant really feel it moving too much and the queues go down very quickly. even on a cloudy day the views are fab
About 30 Minutes to stay in and good and efficient pad for surrounding introductions. You might queue too long. So Better look for a day with better weather to see brighter and wider. And arrange the tickets online and in advance to get better price.
The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture. The wheel's 32 sealed and air-conditioned ovoidal passenger capsules, are attached to the external circumference of the wheel and rotated by electric motors. Each of the 10-tonne capsules represents one of the London Boroughs, and holds up to 25 people, who are free to walk around inside the capsule, though seating is provided. The wheel rotates at 26 cm (10 in) per second (about 0.9 kph or 0.6 mph) so that one revolution takes about 30 minutes. It does not usually stop to take on passengers; the rotation rate is slow enough to allow passengers to walk on and off the moving capsules at ground level. It is, however, stopped to allow disabled or elderly passengers time to embark and disembark safely. The London Eye is a very popular attraction. The London Eye opening times vary throughout the year, typically the attraction opens at 10:00 and closes between 18:00-20:30, better to check their website for exact timings on the day you intend to visit. You can save up to 15% when you book in advance online which is highly recommended as there queues to buy tickets on the spot can be really long.
Its a bit overrated in my opinion. I do suggest that you should do it but I wouldn t make it a priority to go see. I would suggest doing it if you have run out of things to do in London. The line for the London eye is just to long. You will need to make sure you get their super early if you decide to go else you could be waiting in like for anything from 1 to 2 hours.
I would suggest going to the sky garden in the walkie talkie building. Entrance is free and it gives you better views of London than the London eye.
Coca Cola London Eye is most famous tourist spot in Central London. It a giant wheel from where I can see view of London and Thames River. All central London famous tourist places can be seen from London Eye like Westminster Palace, London bridge, railway station etc. Must visit site for first time London visitor and tourists.
The London Eye itself is great. I m sure nobody will pay attention to this, but if you need to change your time, even if it s 5 minutes after you originally book, you will get charged a fee. My sister and I bought a combo ticket with different attractions and were told that an attraction was still open so we planned on doing that before the eye. We went to the attraction and it was closed. Bummer. We then went to change our time for the London eye because that was our original plan and were told we had to pay a fee. EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES SO THEY DON T WASTE PEOPLE S TIME AND MONEY!!!
Marvelous touristic attraction, the London eye provides a fantastic view of most famous monuments in London such as Buckingham Palace, house of parliament, westminster abbey, Saint Paul cathedral and so on. It is strongly suggested to buy the ticket online to avoid being hours in the cue
