Beautiful view, beautiful weather. No better place...
Beautiful view, beautiful weather. No better place to see London's beauty.
Beautiful view, beautiful weather. No better place to see London's beauty.
Loved it. Such amazing sights and so many interesting and diverse people around.
A must see for all tourists well worth it nice friendly staff too!
The view from up there is amazing, you can see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben (too bad is was all wrapped in scaffolding), the Treasury, the Thames.
I bought the tickets on-line from Merlin and I got an amazing price combined with Madame Tussaud's, I highly recommend the site!
The only downside was too many people in the cabin , compared to other cabins.
All in all, it is definitely worth a visit when in London!
Best spot of experiencing London from the top. This is one huge architectural masterpiece. It can hold almost 20 people at a time in one capsule. The rotating speed of the wheel is so slow that it takes approximately 45 mins to complete one More
Riding the London Eye gives one a spectacular unobstructed view of London for miles. It took about 40 minutes to do the full rotation. As I am one who is not a fan of heights and hates Ferris Wheels, however, I was very comfortable on the Eye as it was an enclosed pod that would hold about twenty-five people including folks in wheelchairs.
Enjoyed the view from the top in spite of the weather. Queues were short at the time we visited and we werent cramped in the viewing car. Only suggestion would be some sort of wiper to keep the windows clear when its raining to take better photos.
Bit pricey and one has to survive the suuuupppeeer long queue but the view is pretty amazing.
The riverbank and the greens is perfect lounge for meeting friends, nice beers and quick bites.
Great view but a ride is a bit pricey. Especially the pictures from after the ride are extremely expensive.
View from the London eye is very beautiful and gives a good view of London city and if it's a clear day then amazing skyline as well. Do walk around nearby and see London eye from different angles... It's a worthy experience.
a bit crowded but very organized. I recommend buying tickets by the web and shedule for an exact hour. It really works! (as most of London tourist attractions do)
The Iconic landmark of London. Been on London eye once and it was a great experience for one time. Do not think I will ride again due to the costs and wait times. The amount of people in one pod are fine, The view from this thing is great and if you have social people in the pod there is enough time (about 30 minutes) to enjoy the view in all directions.
Great views of London. We had almost no wait to board the car.
Not for folk with a fear of hights... all the family enjoyed and photos looked amazing.. looks amazing at night.. saddly I had my eyes closed lol
Fun to do, it's well organized but expensive for such a ride. It's nicely slow to see the view. I just don't like how expensive it is ( yet we went I know! ) the view from the Shard is just as impressive and London pass included
Amazing slop just next to the river. Great for pictures. I love to hang out there and it's full of people all the time. London eye is really cool to do as well. I believe it's 30 minutes. Enjoy.
Well organised to be covid compliant, just about the right amount of time on it (half an hour) - just a shame we didn't have last weekend's weather!
Rainy day when I visited London Eye. I bought the express ticket thru online to avoid long queue and long wait. because I'm bring my 2 years old son, so I wouldn't wan to hv this hassle
Beautiful view from the Westminster of the London eye ....though the view from the London eye is also extraordinary but it's crowded and it's runs for a duration of 30min each
It s what you do when you arrive in London. Embankment before and after was the high light for the kids. Good food and great acts.
One of the best experience ever had... Long queue but worth to wait... You guys can cover London Eye, London Dungeon , Big Ben tower & Westminister Abbey in one single day....
Main reason i checked this out was because its biggest attraction of london/UK. Views are pretty nice but not amazing in my opinion. Would recommend to check it out if you have time and money etc, but not a big thing to miss if you dont experience it either.
We were lucky to get great weather. Great views over London
Amazing Views, wish you could see Big Ben :( . 2022
It's an amazing ride of 30 minutes but when you are going up or coming it looks normal. The view from when you are at top is so so amazing.
Tip: Go when the weather is clear. I'd like to try it at night time because the lightening at Big ben and parliament house makes it look sooo pretty.
I'd suggest go for a combo pass or 3 attraction atleast it's so cheap. Buying London Eye alone is not worth it.
This is the first time my family and friends are visiting the London eye and we had bought a river Thames cruise together with the eye wheel is cheaper we using the vouchers Adult go free the cruise is good but we board on the wrong time so was heavy raining. We all had a lot of walking around the city and had great meals at the China town
One of the best giant wheel in London from where you can see the complete lake and London city
Was at top and had great view, but glass ball fell off the wheel and landed in river. It sailed along the Thames and water started to break into the glass , however the glass gave in and I managed to swim out and back onto land. Overall decent ride, bad customer service, amazing view
I don't think it is worth wasting your money, some sightseeing were good but that big rows it is better to look for any other attractions.
A MUST. Fantastic overview of the City. Should perhaps start your travel here. A great tip is to be here at 0930, buy tickets and avoid queue. We git lucky and was one of the first passengers in the beginning of the day. That made it easy ti take photos as well.
An observation deck in the shape of a giagantic ferris wheel that allows unobstructed views across the City of Westminster. It has now become an iconic symbol of London like the Tower Bridge or Big Ben. It is also located close to the London Aquarium and Dungeons so all three can be combined in a single visit.
The line normally moves quite fast and views are pretty good. Would recommend going at night
Overall it was a great experience, even though there were a lot of people. The view was fantastic and the cabin was very clean. The staff were friendly, willing to help and they knew what they were doing. Although I don't have a lot to complain about, I still consider that the ticket was a bit overpriced.
The wheel turns really slowly which helps me personally as I'm scared of heights! The views of the city were spectacular as you can imagine. There were the standard photo opportunities here from the company that run it if you like that kind of thing.
Coca cola London eye place is very nice and also its ride is very slow and safe..enjoy full of city and thames river....
The London Eye is always a sight to get a breathtaking as well as a wonderful ride experience. Hardly find such a surrounded view of the historical city in the world with vibrant architecture and natural view of London. Morning view is the mind blowing. 30 min ride is worth to see the entire London and if don't have time, this the attraction you must visit. From kids to adults everyone will enjoy it for sure. Nice attraction. Friendly staff and Clean facilities. Slight queues during the weekend. Stunning views and Looked absolutely fantastic with the lighting glow off the river Thames.
Great great great. Such a wonderful place which I cant explain. We have spent a quality time.
I go up and i feel very dizzy and then i go slepp very nice yes.
London eye, the famous London will give you a arial view of London. You will enjoy the ride which takes around 20minutes for a full cycle. You will get a clear view of West minster, Buckingham , London tubes, River Thames and other places like The Tower bridge and Big Ben etc.
It has become a landmark of London. I believe there are more places to visit for a great view of the city and in much lower price. It is a marvel of engineering and a must see. There are compined tickets for London attractions so you can have a better price if you want to see more things and really want to get in the eye. Beware that there are queues almost every day and time.
Bird's eye view of London city from the top most point. Enjoyable experience if you visit during off-peak times. Every one of the 32-33 capsules can fit in close to 25 people. However the experience is much better if people are lesser per capsule. Kids and adults will equally enjoy. Family friendly. Need to step in and step out of the capsule while it's moving. But it's safe!
Recommend prior online booking and time slot selection to beat the queue.
Must try atleast once. absolutely wonderful view at the top.very nice staff.. would recommend after getting dark since will get a great view of the city lights.
Definitely buy tickets ahead of time for fast track. If it rains pictures are useless. The view from the Shard are wonderful for second opportunity if it does rain.
I have been to coca cola London eye from Cardiff.
You can have stunning view of London from London eye.The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.
It was a cool experience but the pod we were in smelled like a foul bathroom, not a smell really, more of a presence. We thought they went in to clean between visitors but they were checking for bombs? And they did a really half hearted cleaning job. You do get a spectacular view of London, you can see everything from there but there's always the "presence" and apparently a chance of bombing.
My wife liked it so must be good
Went during the day when the sky was cloudless. Air conditioned pod makes it comfortable. Good all around view of London. 10% reduction of you book a day or two in advance.
London Eye, formerly Millennium Wheel, revolving observation wheel, or Ferris wheel, in London, on the South Bank of the River Thames in the borough of Lambeth. At an overall height of 443 feet (135 metres), the London Eye was the world s tallest Ferris wheel from 1999, when it was built, until 2006, when it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang, in Nanchang, China. It is one of London s most popular tourist attractions for which an admission fee is charged and is sometimes credited with sparking a worldwide revival of Ferris wheel construction.
Long time since I visited but the experience can't have changed much. It was a fairly clear day and the view was great, well worth the cost of the flight, hence the 5 stars. Unfortunately, my girlfriend at the time suffered vertigo but I decided to ignore her and let her suffer rather than spoil my enjoyment of the sights. No, she's not my girlfriend any more.
If you would like to see London from height, then yes you should ride London eye! Must book online first to avoid hiked charges! I will suggest to go in a day time! And also make sure the weather of city must not be rainy or gloomy!
Bit expensive but definitely worth the experience. And staff was excellent recommend taking kids
The views are great. We went in November and there were hardly any likes and only had a few people in the pod with us. The price is still a lot for a 25 minutes Ferris wheel ride. St Paul's has a great view if you are willing to walk up all the steps.
Went with my wife (18 years after we first went on) and 5 year old. We all loved it. Just a great experience!
Felt really happy with social distancing. Queuing wasn't too bad.
Recommend to anyone and everyone.
We had a 2:15pm slot on Tuesday 1 September and went on a pod with 2 other groups of 4 each. So 11 in total. Wife wasn't happy when she saw single groups that went on at 2:45 and 4:30 get pods to themselves. That's just luck of the booking, obviously - but possible you could get a pod to yourself! Good luck to those that did yesterday. Lucky sods!
Interesting way to look at London City. Very unique to London. However one has to wait in long queues especially weekends and holidays. However once we are onboard into the ride the joy of seeing the city from the top is an exhilarating experience. A great variety of food options are available near by with equal number of gift shops to carry home memorablia by tourists.
Went for a wedding on the eye, was an unforgettably experience... Friendly staff, lovely views and really memorable
It was spectacular. The views amazing and surprisingly the Q went much faster than what u thought when u saw how long it was. Like 30 odd people in one pod on the ride. It also have amazing ac for when it's hot like now. Best time to go is when it opens at 10am. We bought a deal with other attractions and worked out cheaper. Great thing to do. Take 30 min to go around.
Loved it
You see all London and take very good photos.
No much queuing as in other things you do in London.
Had etickets that takes you directly on the entrance queue. Ride around 30min
Queue moves really quickly. Amazing views of London and they don't pack the pods. If you don't like heights you can sit and still enjoy the experience. Fantastic photos. Staff v friendly.
Nice place to go if you are a tourist in London. The view of Thames is amazing. The icing on the cake is the lighting which is best seen from the westminister side...leaves an everlasting memory behind
It was a good experience, such a dream for tourists who love London. The views a gorgeous and the "trip" is really comfortable.
We haven t been to London if we haven t come to this area. I recommend to go onto the capsules where we can enjoy the incredible views of London from above. Imagine how beautiful Big Ben, Thames River, Cathedral, Bridge, London Bus & Taxi we can cover and see like helicopter view from above. It s AWESOME.
Lines are huge and the whole ride is very commercialized. That being said, it's great to see London from above. If you do end up going, make sure you're well in advance of your booked line as lines can be up to an hour in peak time.
Been wanting to go on this ever since i knew about it.
This weekend felt like the perfect opportunity.
Myself and my partner booked tickets online very quick and simple to do.
Was very nervous when getting into the pod as it moves and you have to quickly jump on.
However, beautiful views and it is very relaxing.
I would 100% recommend, it is a great experience
You definitely need to book your visit, because you can be sure you will jump in at the time you selected.
Great view from the top
Very smoothly moving queue, waiting time was less than 10 mins during weekend. Provides 360 degree look over the city from the best possible spot.
I was here with a friend here is a lot of fun !! there are a lot of people and there is something to occupy yourself there are those who want adrenaline there is a carousel there are many interesting people who will entertain you
A really fun, tourist thing to do. Definitely get fast track tickets if you can. Makes it that much more enjoyable not having to wait nearly as long. Thank for an amazing Merlin Pass I really love it as it saves money
Fantastic views and queues are not too bad mid week
Overrated and crowded without a fast pass. Had taken a combo ticket with sea world. The actual ride is passable. View from top is average. The Big Ben was under reconstruction when I went there. Kids enjoyed! Good for one time tourists
Definitely a must do for tourists to london such a great view even on a dreary day like we had.
It was okay. Certainly the view is nice and the air conditioning is appreciated. But it takes 30 minutes to go round and it's rather hard to look at the same sites for 30 minutes. If you go, spring for the fast track pass - the other line is insanely long and not worth it.
One of the icons of London. There are some great views to capture there.
No matter how many times I have been on the London Eye it never fails. I used the fast track queue using my premium Merlin pass which saved standing in a long queue. Staff are friendly and helpful and the security check was efficient. One of the best places to view London and even if your capsule is busy everyone can get a view.
Good skyline view.....booked time slot was on time
Pretty mind blowing. Amazing views and a must do in London. Gives you a great over view of the whole area. A real pull card to all the other attractions in the area
Been on the eye a few times. The views are always breathtaking. Wouldn't use fast track as it's not much of a wait either way. Save some money
Must visit as a first time visitor to England I loved it there and it showcased a huge part of the city so easily and with so much convenience. The facilities were awesome here but a bit pricey, however its a must visit as its one of the iconic attractions of London.
Excellent experience. Organised despite being busy all day long
From Door they deliver the best customer service, the food is always fresh, humus is the best in town :) the restaurant is beautiful inside out, can wait for the weather to get better to enjoy Some beers at their terrace.Great food, and excellent customer service. Will be coming back with friends next time again for sure. Thank you very much
Would highly reccomend also the river cruise is a nice addition
Try to get there on a bright day, tickets may be available at lower rate on some online agencies.
One time visit , if u are in London.Awesome view from the top
Definitely when you visit London you have to see London eye Day and Night. In my opinion you don't have to get in the wheel cause the view from this point is not something spectacular. A few photos from across the river and you're done
Absolutely great really fun to go on so many great sites
Very well organised and quick to get on even though didn't book in advance
awesome experience i recommend it to everyone visit london
The best center to view all of London, especially the important sites. You will love the scenes from here
